React Native Developer

We are looking for a passionate and execution-focused React Native Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong React Native fundamentals, experience building scalable mobile applications, and the ability to work in a fast-paced product environment. This role offers an opportunity to work directly with the CTO and contribute to building consumer-facing products from scratch.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native.
• Build reusable and scalable frontend/mobile components.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams.
• Optimise application performance and user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Debug production issues and ensure application stability.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in React Native development.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Good understanding of mobile application architecture and lifecycle.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party libraries.
• Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux/Context API.
• Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in hyperlocal delivery, e-commerce, or consumer-tech startups.
• Exposure to Android/iOS deployment processes.
• Understanding of app performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with DS/Algo concepts.
