Responsibilities:

  • Own the React Native client architecture for Dhruva, defining the data flow, module boundaries, abstraction layers, and patterns that the team builds on.
  • Architect the local data layer offline-first storage, sync strategies, conflict resolution, and schema migration patterns that scale as the AI agent adds new capabilities.
  • Build extensible rendering infrastructure for AI-native features, streaming responses, polymorphic message types, inline actionable widgets (payment CTAs and score visualizations), and proactive nudge surfaces.
  • Mentor and collaborate with the existing senior developer codify institutional knowledge into patterns and docs so architecture decisions aren't trapped in anyone's head.


Requirements:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of mobile security practices.
  • 7+ years of React Native with at least 2 years owning architecture decisions for a production app with real-time features.
  • Deep expertise in real-time protocol design on mobile.
  • Proven ability to design module boundaries and plugin architectures Solid understanding of component architecture and state management.
  • Experience with state management (Redux / RTK Query / Context API).
  • Performance engineering on low-end Android devices is not just optimization but designing architectures that are inherently performant (lazy loading, virtualization, and memory-aware patterns).
  • Understanding of play and app store release processes.
  • Strong opinions on technology tradeoffs, backed by reasoning, let you articulate why you'd choose Zustand over Redux (or vice versa) for a specific use case, not just a preference.
  • Experience producing client architecture documentation data flow diagrams, module boundary specs, and decision records that a team can follow independently.
