We're seeking a talented and motivated Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team at Keychain. This is an exciting opportunity to hit the ground running in a fast-paced development environment and make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities:
Develop robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
Design and implement data storage solutions, including databases, caches, and data processing systems.
Optimize application performance through code refactoring, database optimization, and system architecture enhancements.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, readability, and adherence to coding standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
Solid understanding of web development principles, including RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols, and MVC architecture.
Experience with database management systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.

KG Limited Interview Process
Round 1: Initial Interview with Engineering Lead
Duration: 45-60 minutes
Discuss your background, past work, and technical expertise. Highlight your accomplishments, projects, and challenges you've tackled. Assess your familiarity with relevant technologies.
Round 2: Technical Deep-Dive Interview
Duration: 60-75 minutes
Engage in a technical discussion with a senior engineer. Solve complex problems, demonstrate understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Round 3: Cultural Fit Interview with Founder
Duration: 30-45 minutes
Assess alignment with company culture, values, and vision. Discuss motivations for joining a startup and potential contributions. Opportunity to ask questions about the startup's mission and growth.
Post-Interview Steps:
Collect feedback, make a decision, extend an offer outlining terms and compensation. Take time to consider the offer and ask questions. We're excited about the possibility of having you join our founding engineering team.
