Global Workplace Lead
About Fluidstack
We exist to make humanity more free. For most of human history, you farmed or you starved. Technology gave people more time for the things they wanted to do, instead of things they had to do. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice we've ever built - but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. There are groups building AI who don't share these goals. Whoever deploys frontier compute infrastructure fastest will decide whether AI expands human freedom or shrinks it.
We're singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them - with teams spanning hardware and software. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. Come be a part of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI.
We hire people who care deeply about this problem space. If that is you, please apply!
Role Scope
Own the workplace experience across every Fluidstack office as the company scales across continents.
Stand up and fit out new offices on the timeline the company's growth demands, from lease to move-in.
Run the vendors, budgets, and operations that keep every site running without the people in it having to think about it.
Build the workplace standards and playbook so the next office opens faster and better than the last.
Partner with People, IT, and Security so a new site is fully operational on day one.
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
You've opened offices in multiple cities or countries and gotten people working in them on a tight timeline.
You've owned workplace or facilities operations across several sites at once.
You manage vendors and budgets hard, and you can show where you took cost out without degrading the experience.
You've built the standards and playbooks that made each new office open faster than the last.
You catch the operational problems in a space before the employees in it do.
You partner cleanly across IT, Security, and People so a site opening never drops between teams.
Bonus: Global or multi-site workplace programs. Office build-outs and leasing. Headcount scaling in a high-growth company. Vendor and budget management at scale. Experience spanning US and international sites.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.

How We Operate
Extreme ownership. Full autonomy. Own things end to end often taking on scope outside your core role without being asked to get things done.
Velocity. We drive everything forward as fast as possible.
First principles. Challenge every assumption. Zero analogy thinking, no egos, the best idea wins.
Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.
The Supply Chain Team
Examples of key problems the team is working on
Supply tens of gigawatts of compute, the largest build out of compute in history. Qualify and dual-source across every critical equipment category, with lead-time and capacity thresholds tied directly to the forward build pipeline.
Make supply chain the reason we build faster than anyone. Our modular build redefines speed in this industry, and it lives or dies on supply chain. Keep procurement permanently off the critical path so schedule compression stays our advantage, not our constraint.
Build the most accurate supply chain prediction modelling that exists. Use the frontier of AI to forecast lead times, demand, and disruption with a precision the industry has never had, and turn that foresight into a structural edge.
Role Scope
Own sourcing for mechanical categories feeding manufacturing: steel, fabrications, cooling components, and mechanical assemblies.
Lock supply and lead times against the build plan, with capacity commitments that survive demand spikes.
Qualify suppliers technically with engineering: first articles, PPAP-style approvals, and audits.
Negotiate multi-year agreements that hold price and priority as volumes grow 10x.
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
You've sourced mechanical or fabricated categories for a manufacturer and owned the supplier relationships.
You read drawings and specs well enough to challenge a quote line by line.
You've qualified new suppliers under time pressure without skipping the steps that matter.
You've secured capacity in constrained markets.
You manage suppliers on data: on-time delivery, PPM, and lead-time performance.
Bonus: Steel and fabrication markets. Cooling and thermal components. Should-cost modeling. Supplier development.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.

Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.
Role Scope
Own the document control system for datacenter design and construction, covering drawings, specs, submittals, and revisions across many concurrent sites.
Run configuration management so every site is built to the current approved baseline and no team works off a superseded drawing.
Set and enforce the naming, versioning, and approval workflows that keep engineering documents traceable from design through as-built.
Manage the flow of documents between design firms, EPCs, vendors, and internal teams so approvals never stall the build.
Maintain the audit trail and revision history that construction, commissioning, and closeout teams depend on.
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
You've run document control for large engineering or construction programs with many drawings, revisions, and stakeholders in flight at once.
You've owned configuration management and caught the case where a team was about to build off a superseded revision.
You've set up or administered a document control system such as Aconex, Procore, or SharePoint and enforced its workflows.
You've managed document flow across external design firms, EPCs, and vendors without letting approvals become the bottleneck.
You keep records so clean that an auditor, a commissioning agent, or a closeout team can trace any document to its current approved version.
You catch the missing signature, the wrong revision, or the untracked change before it reaches the field.
Bonus: Datacenter, industrial, or mission-critical construction. Aconex, Procore, or Bluebeam. Configuration management on regulated or high-rigor programs. As-built and closeout documentation.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.

Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.
The Security Team
Examples of key problems the team is working on
You're securing the frontier of AI. The model weights training on our infrastructure are the most valuable and most targeted artifacts in technology, and we're standing up the compute to hold them faster than anyone ever has. A breach isn't a leak, it's the frontier walking out the door.
Build the entire security program from scratch. Most leaders inherit someone else's system and spend a career patching it. Here you own it end to end, bare metal to boardroom, as we scale across continents.
Your threat surface is measured in gigawatts. The customers running on our infrastructure are building the most consequential technology in human history, and being responsible for the physical and logical security of that work makes everything else feel small.
Role Scope
Lead incident response end to end across corporate, cloud, and data center environments, from detection and containment through eradication and post-incident review.
Build the detection logic, response playbooks, and forensic tooling for an environment where the assets under threat are the most targeted model weights in technology.
Run investigations across a threat surface measured in gigawatts, correlating signals from cloud, endpoint, network, and physical systems into a single picture of an attack.
Stand up the incident response function from the ground up, defining severity models, on-call rotations, and the escalation path to leadership.
Turn each incident into a permanent improvement by partnering with the security and IT teams to close the gaps your investigations surface.
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
You've personally led major security incidents from first alert to resolution, making containment calls under pressure with the business watching.
You've built detection logic and response playbooks that caught real intrusions, not just theoretical ones.
You've run digital forensics across cloud, endpoint, and network evidence and reconstructed what an attacker actually did.
You've stood up or substantially rebuilt an incident response program rather than only operating inside someone else's.
You've hunted for threats proactively and found activity that existing tooling missed.
You write incident reports and postmortems clear enough that both engineers and executives act on them.
Bonus: Experience defending high-value targets such as AI labs, financial infrastructure, or critical infrastructure against nation-state threat models. Cloud-native forensics (AWS, GCP). Detection engineering and SIEM or SOAR tooling. Malware analysis or reverse engineering.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.

Run FMEAs across disciplines: failure modes cataloged and designed out with the engineering teams.
Close the loop with the fleet: field failures fed back into models and design changes.
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
You've done reliability engineering for infrastructure, energy, or complex hardware.
