Logistics Coordinator
Workplace Experience Coordinator
About the Role
Chime is hiring a Workplace Experience Coordinator for our New York City office. You'll own a core set of the day-to-day operations of our recently opened 84,000 sq. ft. space, working closely with our Workplace Experience Lead based in New York City and our Regional Workplace Manager based in Chicago as part of a small, hands-on team.
Our New York City office is still new, which means some processes and playbooks are already in place while others are continuing to evolve. That creates a lot of variety in the day-to-day and a real opportunity to shape how the space operates, how Chimers experience it, and how Workplace scales with the office as it grows.
The details matter. We’re building a great experience for Chimers, and like any good product, that experience often comes down to the small things. We’re looking for someone who sees it that way - someone who understands that a restock, a room reset, or a quick follow-up may seem small on its own, but together – those moments shape the overall experience. Someone who treats the office as something they’re building, not just maintaining; who is curious about how things work, takes ownership of their scope, and raises issues early with enough context for the team to move quickly.
This role is expected to be in the office five days a week.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Create an exceptional day-to-day workplace experience in our New York City office, ensuring the space feels welcoming, functional, and ready for Chimers to do their best work
- Serve as a friendly and reliable first point of contact for workplace questions, requests, and onsite needs, helping Chimers navigate the office and connecting them to the right resources when needed
- Partner closely with Workplace Experience teammates and cross-functional partners, including Culinary, IT, People Experience, Safety and Security, and Internal Comms to create a seamless Chimer experience
- Support onsite meetings, team gatherings, events, and other moments that bring Chimers together, taking ownership of setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Own day-one workplace experience for new hires, including desk setups, welcome materials, and office orientation tours to help new Chimers feel set up for success from day one
- Own day-to-day mail and package operations, including scanning incoming items into Chime’s digital mail system and keeping deliveries organized
- Coordinate day-to-day facilities requests and vendor visits, tracking each one through completion and escalating anything that needs a decision
- Maintain accurate workplace documentation, inventories, and operational processes while identifying opportunities to improve how the office operates over time
- Bring a proactive, hands-on approach to the workplace – notice the details, anticipate needs, and jump in to solve problems to keep the office running smoothly
To thrive in this role, you have:
- 1–3 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment in a Workplace or Facilities role
- A strong service mindset - you go above and beyond for people and follow through on what you own
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple day-to-day tasks
- Curiosity about how and why things work, and an eye for where the Chimer experience breaks down - you notice the small friction points and speak up about them
- Good judgment in knowing when to decide, when to ask, and when to escalate
- Clear, friendly communication with Chimers, vendors, and building partners
- Open to feedback and willing to adjust - you try something, see how it goes, and make changes as needed.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, Envoy, and Jira, and comfort using AI tools to work faster and smarter - or the ability to pick up new tools quickly
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Availability to be onsite five days a week, with occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends as business needs require

Chi siamo
Come lavoriamo
Cosa troverai in Octopus
