We are looking to hire a Data Analyst to join our data team. You will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases
Your responsibilities:
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business report
• Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes
• Use data to create models that depict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
• Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis project
• Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
Training end users on new reports and dashboards.
• Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
• Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
Skill sets/Experience we require:
• Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong knowledge and experience with reporting packages
(Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
Pedigree:
• Bachelors’ degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our fast-growing team. The role requires strong analytical skills, structured problem-solving, and the ability to translate business needs into data-driven insights. You will be responsible for managing reporting requirements, creating dashboards, enabling decision-making, and driving process improvements across product, engineering, and operations teams.
This role will give you the opportunity to work at the intersection of business, data, and technology — helping us scale our operations and deliver meaningful impact in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage business requirements and ensure timely implementation of reporting needs.
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive strategic decisions.
Define data elements and structures to enable analytical capabilities across product and engineering teams.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure accurate capture and storage of key data points.
Retrieve and aggregate data from multiple sources into actionable, digestible formats for leadership.
Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions to align data insights with business goals.
Build and maintain platforms to provide ad-hoc access to large datasets for operations teams.
Partner with leadership to set annual goals and track performance weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
Identify and drive process improvements and automation of manual workflows.
Contribute to reporting for Card Lending Services including data mapping, extraction, and analytics.
Recommend new metrics, techniques, and strategies to enhance targeting, reporting, and campaign measurement.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a reporting/analytics role.
Strong expertise in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
Experience working with large datasets, data warehousing, and reporting automation.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — ability to translate data insights into business impact.
Familiarity with financial services / card lending services reporting is a plus.
Other Requirements:
A proactive self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Passion for renewable energy, technology, and sustainability.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, operations, leadership).
