The Opportunity:
Grafana Labs is seeking a Director, Legal - Commercial (Americas) to join our dedicated, collaborative and fast-growing team. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, Commercial Legal, this role will serve as a senior strategic legal partner to the business, with primary responsibility for leading the company's most complex, high-impact, revenue-generating transactions and partnering closely with sales leadership and other senior stakeholders to structure, negotiate and close sophisticated enterprise SaaS, on-premises and strategic commercial agreements.
Working closely with the Deputy General Counsel, Commercial Legal, this role will also provide leadership within the Americas commercial legal team by managing, mentoring and developing attorneys, providing guidance on complex negotiations, promoting consistent contracting practices and helping scale the team's operations and processes. This is a true player-coach role combining people management responsibilities with a hands-on, impactful commercial attorney position for someone who enjoys negotiating sophisticated transactions and partnering closely with the business.
This role will also support broader commercial legal initiatives, including advising on strategic go-to-market models, channel programs, privacy and regulatory matters, commercial policies, maintaining and improving commercial legal templates and playbooks and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders on strategic business initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a creative and analytical thinker with exceptional business judgment who is highly detail-oriented and embraces a pragmatic, business-first approach to legal counseling. They will possess the strategic thinking, executive presence and interpersonal skills necessary to build trusted advisor relationships across the organization while remaining approachable, collaborative and solutions oriented.
The successful candidate also brings significant experience leading negotiations of complex, high-value commercial agreements with Fortune 500 and other sophisticated enterprise customers, frequently negotiating on customer paper and within highly regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services and the public sector. They are comfortable navigating novel legal and commercial issues, balancing risk with business objectives and partnering cross-functionally to help drive strategic outcomes.
This individual is an exceptional drafter, strategic negotiator, and people leader who can quickly distinguish material legal risk from negotiable issues and develop practical solutions that keep transactions moving toward successful execution. They have a proven track record of serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders, successfully managing sophisticated counterparties and mentoring attorneys while helping elevate the overall capabilities of the commercial legal team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead the strategy, negotiation and execution of the company's most complex, high-value commercial transactions, including enterprise SaaS, self-managed software, data processing, information security, channel, strategic partnership and other technology-related agreements, including agreements involving artificial intelligence, generative AI and other emerging technologies.
Serve as a trusted advisor to sales leadership and other senior stakeholders on commercial strategy, deal structuring, negotiation strategy and legal risk to help accelerate revenue while appropriately protecting the company.
Partner closely with the Deputy General Counsel, Commercial Legal, on significant commercial matters, strategic initiatives and the continued growth and evolution of the commercial legal function.
Manage and mentor assigned attorneys on the Americas commercial legal team through coaching, performance feedback, and guidance on complex negotiations and legal issues.
Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex commercial and operational issues and support new products, pricing models and go-to-market initiatives.
Develop and continuously improve commercial agreement templates, playbooks, policies and legal processes to drive consistency, efficiency and scalability across the commercial legal function.
Evaluate and leverage AI-enabled legal technologies and workflows to improve contracting efficiency, enhance legal operations, support data-driven decision-making and enable the commercial legal team to scale while maintaining high-quality legal work.
Build strong relationships across the company and foster a practical, collaborative and business-oriented approach to legal partnership
What Makes You a Great Fit:
JD or equivalent U.S. law degree and active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
10+ years of commercial legal experience supporting technology companies in the SaaS industry with demonstrated experience leading complex, high-value enterprise technology transactions, including negotiations with Fortune 500 and other large enterprise customers.
Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring and developing attorneys.
Exceptional judgment with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
Significant experience with data protection and privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA), information security terms and technology contracting.
Outstanding drafting, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to independently manage numerous complex, business-critical matters and competing priorities.
Demonstrated ability to improve legal processes, develop scalable contracting resources and drive operational excellence.
Bonus Points For:
Recognition from sales or business teams for exceptional partnership, responsiveness and commercial judgment.
Familiarity with open-source software licensing.
Compensation & Rewards:
In the United States, the OTE (On-Target Earnings) compensation range for this role is $275,000 - $325,000 Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. All of our roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), giving every team member ownership in Grafana Labs' success. We believe in shared outcomes—RSUs help us stay aligned and invested as we scale globally.

The Role
Kinetic is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join our dynamic Insurance Operations team. In this role, you’ll leverage your extensive expertise in Workers’ Compensation claims to deliver exceptional customer service while managing claims for our policyholders. You’ll play a key role in driving positive outcomes by identifying high-risk exposures, facilitating return-to-work opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to reduce policyholders’ total cost of risk. As a senior team member, you’ll also provide strategic insights, deliver client onboarding sessions, and support data-driven decision-making to improve injury recovery times and optimize claims processes.

What you'll do:
Claims Management & Risk Mitigation
Manage claims for Kinetic policyholders, including claim reviews, reserve analysis, and closure strategies to minimize policyholders’ total cost of risk.
Identify high-risk policyholders and collaborate with the Insurance Operations team to implement risk mitigation strategies.
Facilitate return-to-work programs to reduce claim durations and improve injury recovery outcomes.
Customer Service & Stakeholder Support
Deliver best-in-class customer service to policyholders and internal teams to enhance claims processes and program effectiveness.
Provide on-demand consultations to policyholders, brokers, and other stakeholders to address claims-related concerns.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Update and maintain accurate records, reports, and applications to ensure data consistency.
Analyze claims data and performance metrics, providing actionable insights to management.
Team Collaboration & Special Projects
Support product improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and opportunities for optimization.
Lead or contribute to special projects that align with broader company goals.
What you've done:
At least 5 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience, including managing lost time claims, litigated claims, and conduction loss reserve analyses
Proven experience conducting claim reviews directly with policyholders and their agents
Knowledge or experience with Return-to-Work protocols and programs
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within the department, across the organization, and with external customers
Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing and delivering presentations
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members at all levels
Proficiency in Google Suite (e.g. Google Docs, Sheets, Slides)

The Business Development & Partnerships team plays an important role in our go-to-market strategy by building and scaling the ecosystem that surrounds Chainalysis, from technology alliances to system integrators and resellers. Build strong working relationships with key partners in-region, including SI’s, consulting firms, resellers, distributors, and MSPs, and serve as the primary point of contact for partner engagement within the geo.
Drive partner enablement so partners can effectively position Chainalysis, qualify opportunities, navigate sales plays, and work within our channel processes and requirements.
Develop and execute joint plans with priority partners in AMER to increase partner-sourced pipeline, improve partner engagement, and expand partner contribution to regional growth.
Work closely with regional sales leaders, AEs, RevOps, Marketing, and Partnerships to align partners to the right accounts, opportunities, and go-to-market motions in-region.
Identify high-potential regional partners to prioritize, grow existing partner performance, and help recruit new partners where there is clear market opportunity or coverage need.
Support internal field enablement in AMER so sellers understand when and how to engage partners, the relevant program guidelines, and how to work effectively with indirect routes to market.
Run a consistent operating cadence with top partners, including business reviews, pipeline check-ins, account mapping, and escalation management where needed.
Track partner activity and outcomes in partnership with RevOps and sales, including partner-sourced pipeline, training progress, and overall partner performance in the region.
Coordinate closely with the broader Partnerships team to ensure regional execution is aligned to the overall program while remaining focused on in-market partner activation and revenue growth.
We’re looking for candidates who have:
Proven experience managing channel, reseller, MSP, VAR, and SI relationships at a B2B technology or services company.
Demonstrated ability to enable partners effectively, including training on value proposition, sales plays, qualification, and how to work opportunities with internal sales teams.
Experience driving measurable business outcomes through partners, including partner-sourced pipeline
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with sales, marketing, RevOps, and other internal stakeholders to execute partner plans.

Channel Partner Manager, AMER

The Business Development & Partnerships team plays an important role in our go-to-market strategy by building and scaling the ecosystem that surrounds Chainalysis, from technology alliances to system integrators and resellers. The team is responsible for identifying and developing inorganic growth opportunities, unlocking new routes to market, and fostering a diverse partner ecosystem that amplifies our reach while making it easier for customers to buy and deploy Chainalysis.
The Channel Partnerships Manager, Americas will own the day-to-day management of channel partners across the region, with a focus on activating, enabling, and growing a defined set of channel partners. This role is focused on regional execution and will be responsible for helping partners and internal field teams work together more effectively to drive pipeline, revenue, and market coverage in the Americas.
In this role, you’ll:
Build strong working relationships with key partners in-region, including SI’s, consulting firms, resellers, distributors, and MSPs, and serve as the primary point of contact for partner engagement within the geo.
Drive partner enablement so partners can effectively position Chainalysis, qualify opportunities, navigate sales plays, and work within our channel processes and requirements.
Develop and execute joint plans with priority partners in AMER to increase partner-sourced pipeline, improve partner engagement, and expand partner contribution to regional growth.
Work closely with regional sales leaders, AEs, RevOps, Marketing, and Partnerships to align partners to the right accounts, opportunities, and go-to-market motions in-region.
Identify high-potential regional partners to prioritize, grow existing partner performance, and help recruit new partners where there is clear market opportunity or coverage need.
Support internal field enablement in AMER so sellers understand when and how to engage partners, the relevant program guidelines, and how to work effectively with indirect routes to market.
Run a consistent operating cadence with top partners, including business reviews, pipeline check-ins, account mapping, and escalation management where needed.
Track partner activity and outcomes in partnership with RevOps and sales, including partner-sourced pipeline, training progress, and overall partner performance in the region.
Coordinate closely with the broader Partnerships team to ensure regional execution is aligned to the overall program while remaining focused on in-market partner activation and revenue growth.
We’re looking for candidates who have:
Proven experience managing channel, reseller, MSP, VAR, and SI relationships at a B2B technology or services company.
Demonstrated ability to enable partners effectively, including training on value proposition, sales plays, qualification, and how to work opportunities with internal sales teams.
Experience driving measurable business outcomes through partners, including partner-sourced pipeline
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with sales, marketing, RevOps, and other internal stakeholders to execute partner plans.
Strong commercial judgment and execution skills, including the ability to prioritize partners, manage competing opportunities, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
Experience working in the US or in a multi-country region with different market dynamics, sales motions, and partner maturity levels.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility internally and externally.
Knowledge of the crypto and blockchain ecosystem and how it ties into the financial services industry, and the ability to ramp quickly on Chainalysis products, use cases, and customer needs in order to enable partners effectively.
Background in crypto, financial services, fintech, and/or compliance software.
Nice to have experience:
Experience at a consulting/services firm advising clients on digital asset initiatives
Experience with PRM tools, deal registration processes, account mapping, and partner performance tracking.
Experience building channels in an environment where direct sales and indirect routes to market must coexist and be carefully governed.
Comfort working across time zones and in a highly matrixed global organization.

The Learning Team at ClickHouse is growing fast as more and more users discover the power of ClickHouse and need to understand how to use it effectively. As part of that growth, we want to expand our certification program. We currently offer credentialed badges for completion of courses and one performance-based ClickHouse Certified Developer exam for those who are subject matter experts. We are looking for someone to take ownership of our certification program, expand our certification exam offerings, and build a community around our ClickHouse certified professionals.
Responsibilities:
Developing performance-based, hands-on ClickHouse certification exams on ClickHouse use cases like real-time analytics, observability and data warehousing
Working with company SME's to create job task analyses for exams
Grading and maintaining all certification exams, including writing grading scripts
Developing quizzes for our course-completion badges
Writing and deploying quizzes for ClickHouse credentials
Establishing a community presence for ClickHouse certified professionals using popular social media outlets and also while attending ClickHouse user conferences and Meetups
Tracking and reporting on the metrics and KPIs of the certification program
Working with the certification and badging vendors to ensure proper delivery of the exams and badges
Handling customer support from learners interested in obtaining our certifications
Traveling occasionally to Meetups and conferences to promote ClickHouse to the community
Requirements:
A self-motivated attitude that provides you with the desire and determination to complete projects in a fast-paced startup environment
Proven experience developing certification exams and quizzes for a highly technical audience like software engineers and database developers
Experience with SQL
Technical breadth and depth in relevant subjects such as DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems software engineering, and big data
You have a high level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and effectively
Excellent communication skills

5+ years of experience in certification in the technical software industry
