About The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Staff Product Designer to completely own our virtual care and provider-facing experiences while driving the evolution of AI-native design at Maven. This role is focused on designing our provider tooling that our virtual care network of clinicians and other providers use during appointments. It's about identifying the right problems, setting and fully owning the design vision for multiple complex areas, making strategic calls under ambiguity, and leading high-impact initiatives that raise the bar for the team around you.
You'll bring deep AI fluency and use it to move faster, explore more broadly, and build more intelligently, while also mentoring others on how to work that way.
What You'll Do:
- Own the end-to-end experience across complex, cross-functional initiatives for our provider tooling and virtual clinic experience, from early concept through delivery, demonstrating exceptional decision-making and strategic thinking about scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs to drive results across projects.
- Define how AI should behave in high-stakes contexts: how it communicates uncertainty, when it defers to human care, and how it builds trust with members navigating emotionally charged decisions.
- Build functional, high-fidelity prototypes using AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar), and push others to move beyond static mockups.
- Develop scalable AI-powered patterns in a healthcare context — confidence indicators, human-AI handoffs, progressive disclosure — that become the standard across Maven's design system.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Clinical, and Data at a strategic level: shaping model outputs into intuitive interfaces, influencing how problems are framed, and driving alignment across teams.
- Develop leaders within the design team and non-design partners, fostering independence, delegating effectively, and promoting leadership among peers.
- Identify and resolve cross-functional tensions, bridging gaps between design, clinical, and product perspectives.
- Strengthen community within and outside the design team by championing company-wide cultural initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
- AI fluency: You use AI tools daily (Claude, Figma AI, Cursor, or similar) with strong prompting and synthesis skills. You're also helping others develop that muscle.
- Vibe coding: You can turn ideas into working prototypes using AI-assisted coding tools, and you're comfortable pushing the boundaries of what that looks like in a healthcare context.
- Technical depth: You've shipped code to production and can have an informed conversation about backend architecture, model behavior, and system constraints.
- Strategic craft: A portfolio that shows not just design quality but also evidence of strategic ownership: defining success metrics, navigating ambiguity, and influencing direction.
- Cross-functional leadership: You've driven complex projects across multiple teams and know how to create momentum without direct authority.
- Mobile and web: Experience designing for mobile applications and responsive web.
- Systems thinking: Ability to think beyond a flow and communicate a holistic system that can scale for any program
- Appetite for complexity: Energized by ambiguity and solving complex problems, and comfortable making calls when the path isn't clear.
Mindset:
- Deeply empathetic toward members and the providers who help them navigate their family building experience, a space that's emotionally intense, medically complex, and often uncertain.
- AI-native: you think in terms of what AI makes newly possible, and you bring others along in that thinking.
- Invested in the people around you. You want the team to be better because you're on it, and to make the team better by mentoring.
Nice To Have:
- Experience in healthcare, health tech, or regulated domains.
- Background working with ML and AI teams on model-driven products.
- Experience contributing to or building a consumer-grade design system, including Figma variables and advanced component architecture.
The base salary range for this role is $220,000-$265,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
At Maven we believe that a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences enrich our teams and allow us to achieve above and beyond our goals. Fertility is one of the most important and uncertain journeys a person can go through. It's emotionally complex, medically nuanced, and often filled with more questions than answers.
Maven Fertility product and virtual clinic help people build the family they want. We're looking for a Senior Staff PM to own the member-facing fertility product end-to-end. Meeting someone at the start of their journey and staying with them through every decision, setback, and milestone, helping them reach their goals in the shortest time and with the least intervention.
You will report to the Director of Clinical Product and work closely with Maternity, Member Experience, Clinical, Healthcare and AI Platform teams. The right person has deep health-tech experience (ideally in the fertility space), strong data instincts, and moves fast.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the Fertility & Family Building product surface across the full member journey, including natural conception and in treatment.
- Define the metrics that matter, instrument them, and drive improvement week over week: engagement, activation, clinical outcomes
- Build and run a high-velocity experimentation engine: form hypotheses, ship tests, read results honestly, and compound learnings
- Bring a strong point of view on how AI changes what we build and how fast we build it, and put it to work in your own workflow
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships across clinical, engineering, design, client success, and growth
What we are looking for
- 10+ years in product with meaningful time in health-tech, preferably fertility or a high-stakes consumer domain
- Experience shipping consumer-facing and AI-powered features in production, not just prototyping them
- Strong data instincts: you define the right metrics, work with complex datasets, and communicate findings credibly across clinical and commercial audiences
- Founder mentality: you own the outcome, not just the workstream, and push through ambiguity without waiting for permission
- Deep clinical empathy: the emotional and medical stakes of fertility journeys show up in your product decisions
- Cross-functional fluency: as comfortable in a clinical review as a data deep-dive or an engineering sprint
The base salary range for this role is 245,000-340,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on qualifications, experience, and skillset.
Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. This role is open to candidates in remote locations with a strong preference for San Francisco, CA; secondary locations include Seattle, WA and New York, NY.
Our teams primarily operate from the New York Metropolitan area, NY, San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, and Seattle, WA. For those based in San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, and Seattle, WA, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to attend quarterly Work Together Days within these cities. This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction.

About The Role
Maven is looking for a VP of Product Management to lead the strategy and execution of our Payments and Care Delivery platforms. In this role, you’ll design and launch world-class digital healthcare benefits and workflows that provide insurance products, empower providers, streamline clinical operations, and deliver better outcomes for our members. You’ll be directly responsible for a diverse product portfolio spanning health data integration, AI-enabled care, clinical workflow innovation, and operational efficiency.
You’ll work cross-functionally with design, engineering, operations, our provider team, clinical product, benefits experience, AI platform and our executives to ensure Maven delivers safe, efficient, and deeply human digital care experiences. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience rolling out AI functionality, understands the deep nuances of digital healthcare, knows how to build provider- and member-facing products that deliver measurable results, and how to both integrate and stand out from healthcare’s diverse ecosystem players, from health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, providers, and more.
What you’ll do
- Drive the Healthcare Product roadmap: Drive the strategy and execution of the Healthcare roadmap across care delivery, health data, and payments platforms, covering key products including the platform that supports Maven Managed Benefit, Maven Wallet, health data ingestion and integrations, AI-enabled workflows for CX and providers, and Maven’s EMR.
- Own the long-term EMR strategy: Define and execute Maven's multi-year EMR roadmap, evolving from today's clinical workflow tooling toward a purpose-built, AI-native system of record that gives Maven's care teams the most complete, real-time view of member health available. This includes integrating external health data sources (HIE, ADT, clinic EMRs), advancing interoperability, and evaluating EMR vendors alongside building on our home-grown system.
- Own the long-term Payments platform strategy: Define and execute the multi-year strategy for Maven's payments platform. This includes in-house adjudication, payer and employer reconciliation, and steerage to high-quality in-network providers. The long-term vision is a payments platform that reduces cost-per-outcome for employers while remaining interoperable with the revenue cycle processes at our health plan, in-person provider, and pharmacy partners.
- Own the Data Platform strategy: Define and execute the strategy for Maven's data platform — the core pipeline supporting Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams, as well as enterprise data needs across the business. This includes maintaining and improving data quality and reliability, evolving our underlying analytics infrastructure (BigQuery, Looker), and ensuring the data foundation scales to support Maven's clinical, commercial, and operational priorities. You will partner closely with enterprise and business teams to ensure data is a strategic asset, not just a technical one.
- Support the delivery of measurable outcomes: Partner with Program leads on our key Programs (Family Building, Maternity, Parenting & Pediatrics, and Menopause) on the delivery of initiatives that improve outcomes for Maven members, such as reducing NICU length of stay, improving pregnancy and fertility risk detection, and increasing provider capacity. Your teams will be responsible for the systems and workflows that enable our Care team and Clinicians to provide quality and efficient care in service of our Programs.
- Lead and develop a team of Product Managers at the intersection of Tech and Healthcare: Play a key role in helping develop a team that thinks in first principles and drives innovation while deeply understanding the requirements and rigor of operating in healthcare.
- Deliver products for an AI-native organization: AI is already central to helping Maven’s care teams provide efficient and high quality care. You will lead the ongoing process of designing products designed for an AI-native workforce, encouraging safe and natively designed AI-experiences across your product domains.
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years leading teams or portfolios in digital healthcare or adjacent regulated industries. Experience building healthcare benefits products and provider- and clinical-facing workflow products in complex digital healthcare environments.
- Experience in building and rolling out AI-native products that serve large and scaling customer facing teams
- Exceptional analytical and qualitative skills to understand and define provider and member needs and segments.
- Proven ability to manage roadmaps, track cross-functional dependencies, and prioritize effectively.
- Outstanding cross-functional collaboration and facilitation skills, with experience leading discussions with growth, sales, marketing, operations and clinical teams, as well as external stakeholders such as insurance companies, financial and healthcare institutions..
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment with high visibility and accountability.
The base salary range for this role is 290,000-340,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on qualifications, experience, and skillset.

About The Role
The member experience is how Maven's decade of clinical depth shows up for the people we serve. The homepage they land on, the AI that answers their questions, the community that makes them feel less alone. It's what turns an eligible member into an engaged one, and an engaged member into someone who stays.
We're hiring a Senior Staff PM to make the experience dramatically better: more intuitive, more personal, more useful. You will work closely with Clinical Product and the AI Platform team to make sure the experience serves members effectively across every program. You report directly to the SVP of Product.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the core member experience surfaces: homepage, conversational AI, and community
- Build and run a high-velocity experimentation engine: form hypotheses, ship tests, read results honestly, and compound learnings week over week
- Define the metrics that matter, instrument them, and use them to drive decisions from first visit through activation and retention
- Bring a strong point of view on how AI changes what we build for members and how fast we build it, and put it to work in your own workflow
- Go deep on engagement data: where members activate, where they drop off, and where the experience is or isn't working
- Build close partnerships with Clinical Product and AI Platform
What we are looking for
- 10+ years in product with direct experience building consumer-facing products
- Experience with conversational AI, homepage, and community surfaces
- Strong consumer instincts: you know what makes an experience feel trustworthy, useful, and worth returning to
- A track record of shipping: you move from ambiguity to a live experiment fast and would rather learn from production than perfect a doc
- Deep fluency with data: you define your own metrics, design experiments that produce clean reads, and change your mind when the results tell you to
- Structured thinking under pressure: you break messy problems into parts, prioritize ruthlessly, and explain the why behind every tradeoff
- Enough technical depth to go deep with engineers on tradeoffs and know what's cheap, what's expensive, and what's worth it
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools as part of how you work today, and a point of view on where AI meaningfully changes the member healthcare experience
- Customer obsession backed by evidence: you talk to members, watch sessions, and design from real behavior, not assumptions
The base salary range for this role is 245,000-340,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on qualifications, experience, and skillset.

About the role
Maven is at an inflection point. For a decade we've built the leading virtual clinic for women and families, delivered through employers and health plans. That enterprise business is strong and growing. Now we're opening Maven's doors to everyone. For the first time, any woman in the U.S. can subscribe directly to Maven for the care she actually needs: GLP-1 care, hormone care, and a virtual clinic with 30+ types of health and wellness providers. Women drive 80% of healthcare decisions in this country and remain chronically underserved by it. We built a care model designed around them, and we're now bringing it directly to them.
This is the next chapter of Maven's story, and you'll help write it. We're hiring a Senior Product Manager to own core parts of the consumer experience as we go from early launch to scaled product. It's the rare combination of a 0-to-1 mandate with real foundations underneath: a trusted brand, a decade of clinical infrastructure, hundreds of providers, and a company that has already proven the care model works. Your job is to figure out what a direct relationship between Maven and the women we serve should look like, then ship it, learn fast, and shape where the product goes next.
What you'll do
- Own consumer acquisition and growth for Maven's direct-to-consumer business, starting with the GLP-1 funnel: landing experience, onboarding, conversion, and the paths that turn a first visit into an active member
- Build and run a high-velocity experimentation engine. Form hypotheses, ship tests, read results honestly, and compound learnings into a funnel that performs better every week
- Define the metrics that matter for consumer growth, instrument them, and use them to drive decisions, from top-of-funnel conversion to activation and early retention signals
- Grow your mandate from acquisition into retention and engagement over time, shaping how a member's first month becomes a lasting relationship with Maven
- Partner daily with engineering, design, analytics, clinical, and marketing to ship quickly without compromising the care quality and trust Maven is known for
- Bring a strong point of view on how AI changes both what we build for members and how fast we build it, and put it to work in your own workflow
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least some of it on consumer products where you owned a funnel, a growth metric, or a revenue line
- A track record of shipping. You move from ambiguity to a live experiment fast, and you'd rather learn from production than perfect a doc
- Deep fluency with data. You define your own metrics, pull your own queries, design experiments that produce clean reads, and change your mind when the results tell you to
- Structured thinking that holds up under pressure. You can break a messy problem into parts, prioritize ruthlessly, and explain the why behind every tradeoff
- Creativity in the solution space. You generate options others don't see, and you know when the right answer is a copy change versus a new product surface
- Enough technical depth to go deep with engineers on architecture and tradeoffs, and to know what's cheap, what's expensive, and what's worth it
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools as part of how you work today, and a point of view on where AI meaningfully changes the consumer healthcare experience
- Customer obsession backed by evidence. You talk to users, watch sessions, and design from real behavior, not assumptions. Excellent written and verbal communication that brings clinical, marketing, and executive partners along with you
Nice to have
- Experience in consumer health, telehealth, or another regulated space where trust and care quality constrain how you grow
- Experience taking a 0-to-1 product from launch to product-market fit
The base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $215,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on qualifications, experience, and skillset.
This is a remote role open to candidates based in the United States, with a strong preference for those based in San Francisco.
For those based in San Francisco/Bay Area, CA we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to attend Work Together Days within these cities. This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction. Remote Mavens in a commutable distance (~90 minutes driving or on public transit) to our hub cities with more than 20 employees are expected to attend local Maven hosted Work Together Days.
At Maven we believe that a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences enrich our teams and allow us to achieve above and beyond our goals. If you do not have experience in all of the areas detailed above, we hope that you will share your unique background with us in your application and how it can be additive to our teams.

About the role
Maven's enterprise business runs on client trust. This role sits at the intersection of client needs and core product: working closely with Client Services and Growth to understand what clients need, identify when custom work is warranted, and own the build from decision through delivery.
You are the connective tissue between Maven's market-facing teams and core product. You spend meaningful time on client calls, embedded with client-facing teams, and in RFP processes where product depth matters. You also manage one or more PMs.
The right person is deeply fluent in benefits and eligibility systems, comfortable with external stakeholders, and knows how to build a principled framework for what gets built, when, and by whom.
What You’ll Do:
- Custom product work in partnership with Client Services and Growth: understanding commercial priorities, building a clear framework for what to evaluate, prioritize, and build alongside core product and engineering
- A triage and prioritization framework for client requests: evaluate against platform leverage, sequence against the core roadmap, route to the right owner, and communicate decisions back to Client Services and Growth with clarity
- Forward-deployed product work: meaningful time embedded with client-facing teams, on client calls, and in RFP processes where product depth matters
- Support one or more PMs: your job is to set them up for success, invest in their development, and help them do the best work of their career
What You’ll Bring:
- 7+ years in product with meaningful time in health benefits, payer systems, or a complex B2B2C environment: eligibility and enrollment fluency is important for this role
- Experience in a forward-deployed or client-embedded product capacity: comfortable owning the product relationship with external stakeholders, not just internal ones
- Experience navigating custom client work in a scaled product org: you know how to evaluate requests against platform leverage, say no when it matters, and find the path that serves both the client and the core product
- Experience managing or mentoring PMs: you develop product talent, not just do the work yourself
- Deep understanding of how benefits data flows from employer configuration through eligibility verification through member activation, and where it breaks
- Strong data skills: funnel instrumentation, activation analysis, communicating outcomes to client success, growth, and executive stakeholders
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools as part of how you work today
- High ownership: you operate like a founder, push through ambiguity, and do not wait for direction
- Member empathy that holds even when client pressure is loud and urgent
The base salary range for this role is 217,000 - 255,000 per year.

For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). About the Role:
Maven Consumer is building its paid acquisition engine from the ground up, and great performance marketing is only as strong as the creative that fuels it.
The Creative Strategist serves as the connective tissue between data and production: the person who identifies what’s converting, understands why, and translates those insights into briefs that move metrics.
This is a highly cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of performance marketing, brand, and content. You’ll work closely with the Performance Marketing Manager and partner with Maven’s brand team, creators, and external agencies to build a rigorous, always-on creative testing engine. As targeting advantages continue to erode and AI reshapes how creative is produced and distributed, this role becomes increasingly critical—differentiation now comes from strategy and message quality, not asset volume alone.
This is a remote role open to candidates based in the United States, with a strong preference for those in San Francisco.
What You'll Do:
- Own the creative strategy for paid acquisition, developing and maintaining a weekly and monthly brief cadence across Meta, TikTok, and other paid channels; treat brief quality as the highest-leverage part of the job
- Translate performance data into creative direction by analyzing what’s working across hook rate, hold rate, CTR, and CVR, and turning those learnings into actionable briefs
- Own creative from brief through execution, working directly with designers, editors, and AI platforms to bring concepts to life
- Write platform-native UGC scripts and collaborate with creators, talent, and editors to ensure authenticity, narrative clarity, and optimized calls to action
- Use AI creative tools (video generation, copy iteration, image tools) to generate and test ad variants at speed, increasing creative velocity and expanding test coverage
- Develop a systematic approach to creative testing: hypotheses, angles, hooks, and structured experiments focused on acquisition efficiency and conversion
- Maintain consistent creative volume to support scaling paid budgets, owning the operational layer (asset library, naming conventions, agency handoffs) that enables speed and scale
- Build and maintain a competitive creative intelligence practice, staying current on what’s working in the market, particularly in health and wellness
- Own UGC and influencer creative strategy, including frameworks for sourcing, briefing, scripting, and testing creator content as a performance channel
- Ensure all creative output meets healthcare advertising guidelines and platform policies
What You'll Bring:
- 4–6 years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, or growth, with meaningful time in consumer health, wellness, or DTC subscription businesses
- A hybrid creative and performance mindset: you understand what makes creative convert—not just what looks good—and can diagnose whether an issue is rooted in hook rate or hold rate
- Proven track record of writing briefs and UGC scripts that have moved metrics; strong POV on direct response formats, hooks, and what earns trust in a health context
- Hands-on experience with AI creative tools (video generation, copy iteration, synthetic testing), actively using them to move faster and expand testing capacity
- Fluency in key performance metrics (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CVR, CPA, LTV:CAC) and experience using data to drive creative decisions
- Experience owning the full UGC pipeline: sourcing, scripting, briefing, and testing creator content at scale
- Comfortable owning both the strategic and operational sides of creative production; you build process where none exists and keep velocity high
The base salary range for this role is $145,000 - $170,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
This role requires active work authorization in the US.

About the Role:
This is a senior individual contributor role with significant strategic ownership. You’ll build and run the full lifecycle engine for Maven’s consumer products—from first touch through long-term retention—working alongside a lean, cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and marketers.
We’re looking for someone equally comfortable white boarding a six-month lifecycle roadmap as they are urgently debugging why a Braze canvas trigger isn’t firing.
This is a remote role open to candidates based in the United States, with a strong preference for those based in San Francisco.
What You'll Do:
- Architect and own the full consumer lifecycle roadmap, from pre-purchase nurture and conversion flows through post-purchase engagement, win-back, and healthcare-specific journeys such as Rx notifications, refill reminders, and clinical milestone communications
- Lead lifecycle go-to-market for new program launches, owning the full communications plan from pre-launch nurture through post-launch engagement and ongoing retention
- Build and operate automated flows directly in Braze across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels, including complex segmentation, Liquid logic personalization, and journey QA
- Act as a system steward for lifecycle infrastructure: maintain journey hygiene, integration health, and a clean, scalable Braze architecture as the consumer product evolves
- Partner closely with engineering on event schema design, data triggers, and Braze integrations; write requirements for backend events, read data specs, and debug why triggers aren’t firing
- Design and use AI-assisted tools to draft email copy and rapidly prototype designs, then route through Maven’s content and design teams for review
- Maintain and evolve a modular email design system to ensure production remains fast and scalable
- Own the lifecycle experimentation program: design A/B tests across subject lines, copy, timing, and flow logic; analyze results rigorously; and report on what is truly driving conversion, retention, and LTV
- Monitor funnel performance proactively and translate insights into roadmap recommendations; identify drop-off patterns, onboarding friction, and engagement gaps, and advocate for product improvements with the PM team
- Close the feedback loop between member behavior and content strategy by analyzing replies, unsubscribe signals, and engagement data to surface qualitative insights that inform product, clinical, and content messaging
- Ensure all lifecycle communications meet HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements, with a strong understanding of how to communicate sensitively in a regulated health context
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, clinical, and content teams to ensure lifecycle is fully integrated into the member experience
What You'll Bring:
- 5–8 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, with meaningful time in DTC health, wellness, or similarly trust-sensitive and regulated consumer categories
- Deep fluency across the full DTC lifecycle funnel: acquisition nurture, abandoned checkout/consultation, post-purchase onboarding, win-back, loyalty, and healthcare-specific journeys such as Rx management, refill reminders, and clinical program engagement
- Braze power user experience required: you’ve built complex canvases, multi-step event-triggered flows, Liquid logic personalization, A/B experiments, and segmentation yourself—not just managed others who have
- Strong technical and data fluency: you can read event schemas, write trigger specs, cross-reference tracking plans, and troubleshoot flow issues without translation
- Experience leading lifecycle for new product or program launches, not just maintaining existing flows
- Strong product instincts: you synthesize lifecycle insights into roadmap recommendations and can engage effectively with PMs on product direction
- Working knowledge of email deliverability, list hygiene, and domain authentication, with an understanding of scaling risks and prevention strategies
- HIPAA-aware and healthcare-savvy, with an ability to communicate appropriately in regulated health contexts without prompting
- Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate copy drafting and design iteration, producing outputs that require light editing rather than full rewrites
- Strong analytical instincts: you own lifecycle performance reporting, distinguish signal from noise, and build clear cases for investment decisions
- Familiarity with Mixpanel for funnel analysis strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Customer.io strongly preferred
The base salary range for this role is $136,000 - $160,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

We have recently launched our direct-to-consumer platform that gives women access to GLP-1 care, hormone care, and 30+ healthcare specialties, connecting metabolic, hormonal, reproductive, mental, and physical health in one care experience. We are building for women who are tired of fragmented care, unclear pricing, limited follow-up, and healthcare experiences that treat each symptom or life stage in isolation.
What You'll Do:
- We’re looking for a founding Product Design Lead to help build and scale Maven’s direct-to-consumer healthcare experiences.
- This role sits at the intersection of consumer growth, healthcare access, product craft, AI-native ways of working, and trust-sensitive design.
- It is a hands-on player-coach role with formal line management responsibility. You’ll lead a small team of senior Product Design/UXR practitioners while also owning high-priority product design work yourself.
- You’ll report to the General Manager, Consumer and partner closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, Data, Clinical, Legal, Operations, and Support teams.
- You will help Maven compete in a fast-moving and highly competitive consumer healthcare market while staying true to what makes Maven different: connected, clinically responsible, whole-person care for women.
- You will be designing for users who are actively comparing options, making decisions quickly, weighing affordability, navigating uncertainty, and deciding whether they trust Maven enough to start and continue care.
- The work will span both 0→1 product development and continuous optimization of live consumer journeys. You’ll help define new journeys, shape concepts, prototype, and bring new consumer healthcare offerings to market, while also improving existing funnels, onboarding, eligibility, pricing, payment, prescription, activation, retention, and cross-sell experiences through research, experimentation, data, and design craft.
What You'll Bring:
- 7+ years of product design experience, including complex consumer product journeys and 0→1 product growth.
- Experience formally managing or leading design teams.
- Strong hands-on product design craft across UX, prototyping, visual design, mobile apps, and responsive web.
- A portfolio showing D2C product design leadership, systems thinking, data-driven decision-making, high-quality execution, and measurable product impact.
- Experience designing products where trust, comprehension, eligibility, pricing, access, personal data, or complex decision-making play a central role.
- Experience with growth, onboarding, conversion, activation, retention, cross-sell, monetization, or lifecycle journeys, informed by research, data and experimentation.
- A strong AI-native workflow and informed opinions on how AI can improve design quality, team capacity, and business value.
We’d especially love to see
- Experience in healthcare, women’s health, telehealth, digital health, insurance, fintech, marketplaces, consumer subscriptions, or another regulated or trust-sensitive domain.
- Experience designing products involving insurance, benefits, prescriptions, clinical eligibility, payments, care navigation, or personal health information.
- Experience designing in a competitive direct-to-consumer category where acquisition, conversion, trust, differentiation, and retention all matter.
