Product Operations Manager
San Francisco · On-site · Full-time
About Bobyard Construction is a trillion dollar industry running on manual work. Contractors still measure and count materials off drawings by hand — it takes forever. Bobyard uses AI to automate takeoffs and estimates, making bids 10x faster. We're Series A, backed by 8VC, Primary, and Pear, and we're shipping faster than most teams can track.
About the role The product team is launching new trades, features, and fixes constantly — sometimes a dozen projects in flight at once. Right now, nobody owns making sure what ships is actually fixed, actually launched, and actually communicated. That's this role. You'll sit between engineering and every customer-facing team, verify that bugs are really resolved before we tell anyone they're fixed, and make sure every launch comes with a clear, honest update to the people who need it — customers, CSMs, and sales alike.
What you'll do
Own the day-to-day truth of Linear — every ticket has a real status, nothing goes stale or slips silently past its target date
Independently verify that "fixed" tickets are actually fixed before they're closed or communicated
Write and send launch communications for every release — clear, specific, no corporate filler — to customers and internal teams
Build and run a standard launch checklist so marketing and CS are looped in before a release, not briefed after
Coordinate directly with Platform engineers on active projects — you're in their tickets, not waiting on a summary
Flag risk and slippage early, in the same weekly rhythm the product team already runs
Be the first call when a customer says something's broken and an engineer says it isn't
What we're looking for
2–5 years in a role that combined technical coordination with customer-facing communication — Implementation, CS Ops, QA, or release coordination
Fluent in Linear or Jira — daily use, not passing familiarity
Can write the same update two ways: technical for engineers, plain for customers
Comfortable pushing back on an engineer's "it's fixed" claim without making it a fight
Genuinely enjoys verification and follow-through — you don't lose interest once something's "probably done"
Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
Nice to have
Experience at a Series A–C startup with no dedicated QA team
Background in construction tech, PropTech, or a technical B2B product
Experience building a launch or release process from scratch
What we offer $120,000–$150,000 base, 0.02%–0.04% equity (4-year vest, 1-year cliff), on-site in San Francisco.
Comp Philosophy
We are proud to offer competitive, top-of-market compensation because we want to celebrate the dedicated people who ship amazing work and drive our success. Our individual compensation is thoughtfully tailored based on your role, experience, and contributions, alongside performance-based rewards.
GTM Operations Coordinator
About the role
Our outbound engine runs on a small stack — Trellus, HubSpot, Lemlist, and Google Workspace — and right now nobody owns keeping it clean. A broken sequence, a stale HubSpot field, or a misconfigured inbox quietly costs the team pipeline every week. You're the first hire dedicated to fixing that. You'll work directly with our GTM Engineer to keep the infrastructure behind every call, email, and CRM record running so reps can focus on selling, not troubleshooting tools.
What you'll do
Set up, launch, and maintain outbound email and multichannel campaigns — list imports, sequence configuration, quality checks, bounce management, unsubscribe handling
Act as the first point of contact for SDR and AE questions on GTM tools, data, and process
Translate technical or operational changes into simple instructions for the sales team
Keep our Trellus dialer setup running clean — call routing, dispositions, number health — so reps aren't fighting the tool mid-call
Own HubSpot data hygiene — field maintenance, segmentation, workflow upkeep, deduping
Keep Gmail/Google Workspace infrastructure healthy — inbox setup, filters, account provisioning as the team grows
Catch data problems before they hit an SDR's pipeline — duplicate contacts, bad emails, broken sequences
Document how every tool is configured so process survives turnover, not just tribal knowledge
Pull prospecting lists and ad hoc reports across territory, revenue tier, or vertical
What we're looking for
0–2 years in sales ops, sales enablement, or admin support (internships count)
Picks up new software fast — prior exposure to Trellus, HubSpot, Lemlist, or similar tools is a plus, not a requirement
Highly organized with real attention to detail — this role lives or dies on data hygiene
Clear written communicator who documents process
Proactive — flags a broken sequence or a bounced list before it becomes someone else's fire drill
Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
Nice to have
Comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets for data cleanup
Familiarity with email deliverability concepts (SPF/DKIM, warm-up, sending limits)
Prior SDR, sales operations, or sales-adjacent internship experience
What we offer
$65K–$85K base + equity. Based in San Francisco, on-site.

Senior Computer Vision Research Engineer
Position Overview
Join the AI lab bringing visual intelligent applications to the construction trades.
Contractors burn dozens of hours per project doing takeoffs by hand. We automate it — with models that have to be better than human, on messy real-world drawings.
You’ll have founder-level autonomy to design, execute, and iterate. We move at startup speed — no research silos, no “publish and forget.” You’ll become the world’s leading expert on the models you ship. We want world-class ML engineers with product taste and the ability to go heads down and produce exceptional systems.
Responsibilities
Build SOTA CV models: Detect, segment, OCR, and reason over construction drawings. Accuracy isn’t academic — one mistake costs a customer millions.
Own end-to-end pipelines: Data ingestion, labeling, training, eval, and low-latency inference. If it doesn’t run in prod, it doesn’t count.
Scale performance: Accuracy, robustness, latency. Our models face 10,000+ drawing formats and they need to just work.
Ship to production: Work closely with fullstack and product to integrate models into features customers use daily. No throwaway notebooks.
Attack failure modes: Dig into real customer data. Find where we break, why we break, and fix it fast.
Apply research pragmatically: Stay current with the field. Take what works, ship it next week, measure impact.
Senior Level Scope
Architectural Stewardship: Having shipped extensively at Bobyard, you define the infrastructure strategy, ensuring our ML systems remain scalable, modular, and performant across the increasing diversity of construction trades we support.
Trade-Expert Execution: You translate deep understanding of diverse construction trade requirements into model architectures. You don't just build models; you guide projects that require orchestration across multiple trades to solve complex, real-world takeoff challenges.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship: You elevate the team by embedding your learned expertise into our engineering culture, guiding junior engineers through the nuances of production-grade CV and setting the bar for robust system design and testing.
Strategic Project Ownership: You partner with Product and Engineering leadership to set the technical roadmap. You take ownership of high-impact, cross-functional projects, steering them from architectural ideation through to reliable production deployment.
Final Arbiter of Quality: As a seasoned veteran of our model pipelines, you act as the ultimate decision-maker on release readiness, enforcing standards that protect the integrity of the high-stakes bids our customers rely on.
Desired Attributes
Founder-level drive: You own model performance like it’s your company. No one tells you what to fix — you already know.
Deep CV + DL chops: You’ve trained models that actually shipped. Segmentation, detection, document AI, vision-language — you’ve been in the trenches.
Production killer: You’ve put ML into real products with real SLAs. You know the gap between 90% and 99.9% and how to close it.
Messy data mindset: Real drawings are crooked, scanned, handwritten, and ugly. You love that. You turn noise into signal.
Research-minded, execution-focused: You read papers, but you ship code. You bias to impact over elegance.
Startup work ethic: This isn’t a research lab or a cushy big-tech role. We’re at war with manual takeoffs in a $13T industry. You want that.
Learning machine: New architecture on Monday, beating our baseline by Friday. You navigate unknown problem spaces fast.
This is full-time & in-person in the SF Bay Area. Learning rate and dedication beat pedigree. If you can prove you’ll ship models our customers trust with million-dollar bids — at the speed and quality the market demands — we want you.
Comp Philosophy
We are proud to offer competitive, top-of-market compensation because we want to celebrate the dedicated people who ship amazing work and drive our success. Our individual compensation is thoughtfully tailored based on your role, experience, and contributions, alongside performance-based rewards.
Social Media Manager
About Bobyard
Construction is a trillion dollar industry running on manual work. Contractors still measure and count materials off drawings by hand — it takes forever. Bobyard uses AI to automate takeoffs and estimates, making bids 10x faster. We're Series A, backed by 8VC, Primary, and Pear, and we're growing uncomfortably fast.
About the role
This is our first dedicated social hire, and you'll own all of it. Bobyard has a great product and a story almost nobody in construction has heard yet. Your job is to change that — build our social presence from the ground up, be the face and voice of the brand on camera, and turn a category people think is boring into content they actually stop for. You'll set the playbook, not inherit one. You'll ideate; our video editor shoots and edits, so you can focus on ideas, hosting, and growth.
What you'll do
Own Bobyard's social channels end-to-end — LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and X
Come up with video concepts and appear on camera regularly — you're the talent
Write hooks, scripts, and captions that get contractors and builders to stop scrolling
Run the day-to-day: plan the calendar, schedule and publish, and keep a consistent cadence
Manage the community — reply to comments and DMs and be Bobyard's voice in the wild
Grow engagement and top-of-funnel numbers, and know why they moved
Partner with brand and copy on ideas, and hand shoots to our video editor to produce
Jump on trends and cultural moments fast — with taste that fits a premium product
Report on what's working, double down, and kill what isn't
What we're looking for
3–5 years running social for a brand (or yourself), with a portfolio and real numbers you can prove were yours
Genuine comfort on camera — this is a core part of the job
A track record of organic growth: you know how to move engagement and TOFU, not just post
Sharp instincts for short-form video — hook, retention, payoff — across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
Consistency and community chops: you keep channels alive daily and engage like a human, not a brand account
Strong writing: captions and copy that sound like a person
Self-starting and operationally reliable — you take a goal and run, and you show up every day
Nice to have
A point of view on B2B and LinkedIn video
Experience making a technical or "unsexy" product interesting
Comfortable grabbing quick iPhone content yourself when the moment calls for it
Your own channel with real traction
What we offer
$115K–$135K base + meaningful early-stage equity
The entire social brand of a fast-growing company to own and define
A dedicated video editor so you can focus on ideas and growth
A team that moves fast, takes full ownership, and keeps a healthy sense of humor
On-site in SF (101 2nd Street) — we build together, and on-camera work happens here
Comp Philosophy
We are proud to offer competitive, top-of-market compensation because we want to celebrate the dedicated people who ship amazing work and drive our success. Our individual compensation is thoughtfully tailored based on your role, experience, and contributions, alongside performance-based rewards.
People & Office Coordinator
Company Overview
Construction is one of the largest industries in the U.S., but also one of the least technologically advanced. Every year, firms spend over $60B on teams creating cost estimates for bids. The process relies on tedious “takeoffs”—manually measuring and counting materials from drawings.
Bobyard automates takeoffs using computer vision and NLP, making cost estimates 10× faster while reducing errors. We’re a lean startup backed by Primary, Pear, and 8VC, building the next generation of software for the built world.
The Role
We're looking for a People & Office Coordinator to join our Operations team and be the operational backbone of our day-to-day. This is a foundational role at a critical moment in our growth: we're scaling fast, building out our people systems, and need someone who can keep the engine running while we do it.
You'll own our office environment, support the employee experience from day one through offboarding, and be the go-to person for the coordination and administrative work that keeps our team focused and our operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with our CEO as an EA, partner with our ops team on office coordination and culture projects and have real ownership over your areas from the start.
This is the right role for someone who is organized and proactive, genuinely enjoys creating great experiences for people, wants to grow their career at the intersection of HR and operations, and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment where things are still being built.
What You'll Do
Office Management
Own the day-to-day operation of our San Francisco office — keeping it stocked, organized, and a great place to work
Manage vendor relationships including office supplies, facilities, food and beverage, and equipment
Coordinate team events, celebrations, all-hands logistics, and company SWAG
Handle office-related contracts, subscriptions, and service coordination
Be the first point of contact for anything office-related — the person who notices what needs to happen before someone has to ask.
Serve as the point of contact for office mail, packages, deliveries, and visitor coordination
People Operations Support
Support the new hire experience end-to-end: coordinate logistics, assist with system access, prepare welcome materials, and ensure Day 1 runs smoothly
Help coordinate process roll out and company communication around policy acknowledgments, company events, new tools, etc.
Assist with recurring people programs: engagement surveys, milestone recognition, culture initiatives
Support compliance calendar tracking, flagging key deadlines for required trainings, policy acknowledgments, and filings
Administrative & Operational Coordination
Provide calendar coordination and scheduling support to the CEO, including booking travel, maintaining his calendar, and other requests.
Draft communications and prep materials for leadership, including meeting notes, follow-ups, and internal updates
Own recurring operational tasks and tracking: make sure nothing falls through the cracks
Support cross-functional coordination across teams, including SDR cohort administration and vendor follow-up
Maintain documentation and process records, keeping shared resources current and accessible
Identify opportunities to improve or systematize recurring operational workflows
What We're Looking For
Required
1-3 years of experience in an office management, operations coordinator, EA, or similar role
Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball
Proactive by nature: you notice what needs to happen and take care of it without being asked
Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with a warm and professional presence
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous startup environment where priorities can shift
Experience with Google Workspace and Slack; comfortable picking up new tools quickly
Nice to Have
Experience with an HRIS platform (Rippling experience is a plus)
Background in a startup or high-growth tech environment
Interest in growing within People Operations or HR over time
Experience supporting onboarding, events, or culture programs
Benefits
Competitive salary, commission, and equity options
Opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic, driven team
Build a massive company
This is a full-time & in-person role in SF. We have a product that blows people’s minds and a massive industry eager to incorporate AI. If you can create unbelievable growth numbers, we would love to work with you.
Comp Philosophy
We are proud to offer competitive, top-of-market compensation because we want to celebrate the dedicated people who ship amazing work and drive our success. Our individual compensation is thoughtfully tailored based on your role, experience, and contributions, alongside performance-based rewards.
Technical Product Manager
About Bobyard
Construction is a multi-trillion industry running on PDFs, rulers, and 1990s software. The biggest choke point is the cost estimate. Takeoffs are manual, slow, and one mistake blows millions. We use computer vision and NLP to read drawings like an expert estimator, 10x faster and with fewer mistakes. We're backed by 8VC, Primary, and Pear.
About the role
You'll own a model-powered product surface end to end: not writing specs and handing them off, but being the person engineering and customers both come to when the question is "why did the model do that, and what do we do about it."
What you'll do
Own the roadmap for a model-powered product surface, from customer problem to shipped feature
Read eval reports and confusion matrices well enough to argue with the CV engineers, not just relay their conclusions
Make and defend accuracy/speed/cost tradeoffs — in the room with engineering, and directly with customers
Build and maintain eval sets that keep the team honest about model performance
Decide when a model is actually ready to ship — not based on aggregate accuracy, but on which failure modes are cheap to catch downstream and which are expensive to miss
Turn ambiguous customer complaints ("it missed something") into a specific, testable model or UX fix
Work daily with our CV and ML engineers as a peer who understands the model, not a translator layer
What we're looking for
4+ years in product, with real ownership of a model-powered feature (not just "worked with" a data science team)
Fluent in model evaluation — precision, recall, false positive/negative tradeoffs — and can reason about when "85% accurate" is good enough versus when it isn't, based on the cost of the specific errors, not just the aggregate number
Has shipped 0-to-1 or a major iteration on an ML/CV-driven product in B2B SaaS
Comfortable being the last line of defense on "will this model actually work" for customers and execs
Fast learner — no construction background required, but you'll need to be dangerous in it within 30 days
Ships fast, iterates in public, doesn't hide behind process
Nice to have
Prior experience specifically in computer vision (vs. NLP/LLM-only)
Background at a company like Scale AI, Labelbox, Samsara, Matterport, Cape Analytics, or DroneDeploy
Comfortable in Figma and reading code, even if you don't ship it
What we offer
$160K–$180K base + equity
Full-time, in-person in San Francisco — we build together
Comp Philosophy
We are proud to offer competitive, top-of-market compensation because we want to celebrate the dedicated people who ship amazing work and drive our success. Our individual compensation is thoughtfully tailored based on your role, experience, and contributions, alongside performance-based rewards.
Customer Success Manager
About the Company
LightTable is an AI-powered construction document review platform built for preconstruction teams. We automate cross-document conflict detection across the complex, multi-party workflows that define how data centers and large commercial projects are designed and built. We recently closed our Series A led by Innovation Endeavors and are in active enterprise deployments with some of the largest GCs and data center builders in the country.
We move fast, we care about leverage, and we build with AI. We do this not just for our customers, but internally too. You’ll find a hard working team that will give you an incredible opportunity to quickly grow in your career.
What You'll Do
Build the customer success function from scratch: design playbooks, onboarding frameworks, and escalation processes before headcount grows.
Own onboarding end-to-end. Once a contract is signed, you're in — working hand-in-hand with the AE to bring the right people on, set the tone, and make sure every client's first (and all subsequent) experiences with LightTable earns their trust.
Align on outcomes, not just timelines. Define and communicate what success looks like for each client — tied to the specific reasons they bought LightTable — and build a shared roadmap to get there.
Run regular check-ins that go beyond status updates. Ask the hard questions: are you seeing the results you expected? Is this working for your team? Work with your colleagues to close the gap when the answer is no.
Monitor relationship health in partnership with the Account Executive. Stay close to usage patterns, stakeholder engagement, and client sentiment, and act before small issues become big ones.
Be the voice of the customer back to LightTable. Turn client experiences, friction points, and wins into clear, actionable input that shapes our product and roadmap.
Partner closely with our internal AEC experts to help drive customer outcomes
Cultivate growth in established partnerships. Spot emerging stakeholders and internal groups to maximize net retention and revenue expansion.
Success Metrics
Within the first 6 months, success will be measured by:
Customer onboarding time and time-to-first-value for new accounts
Net retention and expansion revenue across the customer base
Number of structured feedback loops delivered back to product and engineering
Playbooks and processes documented; build with a mix of AI tools and human talent
-
Overall customer satisfaction (NPS / CSAT)
What We're Looking For
Experience: 5–10 years in customer success at a B2B SaaS / technology company,
Builder mindset: You've inherited nothing and built something, including playbooks, processes, onboarding flows, and you can talk about where it went well, and where it failed, but you fixed it.
AI-native approach: You have a genuine curiosity about how AI is reshaping construction and a desire to help clients adopt it. You think in systems before you think in headcount.
Commercial instincts: You understand that CS is a revenue function. You know how to spot expansion signals, account risk signals, and partner effectively with sales.
Relationship builder: You understand that CS is about building relationships deeper across organizations. You know how to get in front of other groups within the organization to grow multi-stakeholder buy-in.
Communication: Whether you're writing a success plan for a client or a product brief for an engineer, you communicate clearly. You also know when it is best to speak in person or by phone and you take the initiative to do that.
Nice to Have
Experience in or adjacent to the construction industry.
Experience working at or building within an early-stage startup.
