About the Role
Flock Freight is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our Product organization. In this role, you will own analytics for Flock’s Spot Pricing product, partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and business stakeholders to solve complex business problems and influence product strategy through data.
This is a highly consultative role for someone who enjoys translating ambiguous business questions into structured analyses, uncovering actionable insights, and driving measurable business impact. You’ll work with a high degree of autonomy, proactively identifying analytical opportunities, improving pricing performance, and influencing product decisions rather than simply responding to predefined requests.
- Own analytics for Flock’s Spot Pricing product, partnering closely with Product Managers to evaluate pricing performance, analyze win rates, identify pricing opportunities, and influence product roadmap decisions through data-driven recommendations.
- Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses that drive actionable recommendations and measurable business outcomes.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy by proactively identifying analytical opportunities rather than waiting for predefined requests.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and business stakeholders throughout product planning and execution.
- Partner with Product Management to define, measure, report on, and visualize product KPIs and OKRs.
- Build and maintain dashboards, analytical models, and reporting tools that enable data-driven decision making.
- Perform approximately 5–10 high-impact analyses each month to prioritize product enhancements, validate hypotheses, measure feature impact, and identify new opportunities.
- Design and support experimentation efforts, including MVP validation, A/B testing, KPI development, and impact measurement.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to Product Managers and business stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Create clear and informative visualizations from complex, multidimensional datasets, including geographic and event-based data.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and data pipelines that power reporting, analytics, and business insights.
- Execute data manipulation, visualization, and statistical analysis using Python or similar programming languages when appropriate.
- Participate in interviewing and evaluating prospective team members.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to newer members of the analytics team.
- Analyzing pricing performance and shipment win rates.
- Evaluating customer behavior and pricing trends.
- Measuring the impact of pricing changes and new product features.
- Designing and evaluating A/B tests.
- Identifying opportunities to improve pricing strategy through data.
- Recommending product enhancements based on analytical findings.
- Building dashboards and visualizations that help Product teams monitor business performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 3–5+ years of experience in Product Analytics, Pricing Analytics, Marketplace Analytics, Business Analytics, or a similar analytical role supporting product and business decision-making.
- Advanced SQL proficiency is required. This role relies heavily on SQL for complex analysis, data validation, and answering high-impact business questions. Candidates should be comfortable independently writing, debugging, and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with business intelligence and visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Mode, or similar tools.
- Experience with experimentation methodologies, including MVP validation, A/B testing, KPI development, impact measurement, and hypothesis testing.
- Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguous business problems and independently determine the best analytical approach.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex analyses and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing initiatives and consistently deliver high-quality analytical work.
- Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, or statistical modeling.
- Experience with statistical analysis techniques.
- Exposure to machine learning concepts or predictive analytics.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $119,000 - $130,000 per year. The base salary range reflects typical earning potential in this role based on market data and individual factors including skill sets, experience, and geographic location. FP&A Analyst
Team/Department Overview:
Accounting & Finance - Reporting directly to the Manager of FP&A and Strategic Finance.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Manager of FP&A and Strategic Finance, the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will focus on reporting and budget vs. actual analysis. The successful candidate will support the finance team in producing timely and accurate financial reports, analyzing variances, and providing valuable insights to management to drive business decisions. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
In addition to reporting, this role will work closely with the Strategic Finance team to jointly produce investor relations materials including board materials. The right person for this role will be passionate about delivering data in a timely, accurate and relatable fashion to key business partners.
Core Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare, review, and deliver accurate monthly financial reports, including P&L statements. Ensure reports are delivered to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Provide detailed variance analysis comparing actual financial performance to budgeted figures. Identify trends, fluctuations, and anomalies in financial results, and present findings to key stakeholders in an easily digestible format.
- Use the findings from variance analysis to provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations for management to optimize performance, reduce costs, or capitalize on opportunities.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development of the budget by working with various departments to consolidate input on projected expenses while considering historical expenses. Review and challenge assumptions to ensure that the budget is both realistic and aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Regularly participate in budget review meetings, providing financial analysis and insights to business leaders. Help ensure that budgets are adhered to and identify potential areas where adjustments may be needed throughout the year.
Sales Operations and Commissions:
- Partner closely with the Director of Revenue Operations to develop and refine compensation-to-gross-profit analysis. Work together to model the financial impact of compensation structures and incentive plans on overall gross profit margins.
- Collaborate to support sales team’s objectives, ensuring the alignment of resources and investment.
Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis:
- Respond to key stakeholder requests for detailed financial analysis on ad-hoc projects, such as potential operational cost savings. Provide insights to inform key strategic decisions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and controls.
- Forge meaningful relationships with department heads and become a trusted advisor, highlighting risks, building sensitivity models and driving solutions to problems as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles, ideally in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Experience with financial systems (NetSuite Planning and Budgeting) and reporting tools.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Google Sheets & Google Slides.
- Understanding of financial statements and their interdependencies as well as GAAP reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent presentation skills and communication skills; ability to condense complex issues into succinct messages for non-financial stakeholders.

Compensation:

About the Role:
The Account Executive plays a critical role in driving Flock Freight’s growth by acquiring, expanding, and retaining shipper relationships across the United States. This is a high-impact inside sales role focused on Owning the full customer lifecycle, with a heavy emphasis on outbound prospecting and new logo acquisition, followed by account expansion and retention.
Account Executives act as trusted advisors to customers, educating them on FlockDirect and Shared Truckload and helping them rethink how freight moves through a technology-enabled, network-based model. This role blends high-velocity outbound selling with consultative account management, requiring strong freight knowledge, disciplined execution, and a results-driven mindset.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end sales process, converting qualified prospects into long-term customers.
- This is a highly outbound, prospecting-driven role. Account Executives are expected to generate the majority of their pipeline through self-sourced prospecting. Success requires comfort with autonomy, ambiguity, and creating opportunities from scratch.
- Drive bookings and revenue growth from both new and existing customers.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand customer freight profiles, pain points, and annual freight spend.
- Position FlockDirect and Shared Truckload as differentiated, industry-changing solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.
- Maintain a high level of prospect and customer talk time through calls, meetings, demos, and follow-up activities.
- Develop and execute account plans to maximize wallet share and long-term revenue potential.
- Build credibility and trust through strong communication, follow-through, and account management.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure successful freight execution, including managing accessorials, overrides, and approvals.
- Support new customers through onboarding and contract execution, including coordination with legal when required.
- Accurately track pipeline, account activity, and customer communications within Flock systems.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly gross profit and shipment volume targets.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year of direct, customer-facing sales experience in an outbound or mixed outbound environment, with responsibility for prospecting, discovery, and closing
- Strong understanding of LTL freight; experience with Partial or network-based solutions is a plus
- Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales and activity quotas
- Competitive, self-motivated, and driven by performance, achievement, and earning potential.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000 per year + commission opportunity with meaningful upside.
