PILOT
SpaceX is looking for an in-house pilot for various aircraft. You will have the opportunity to fly both domestically and internationally from local airports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure aircraft ground servicing items such as fuel, oil, oxygen, etc. are monitored and accomplished according to standard operating procedures
- Complete flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment
- Complete passenger briefings according to company policy and regulation
- Utilize Threats, Plans, and Considerations briefing methodology for briefings and to mitigate operational risks
- Maintain a current first class medical certificate
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3,000+ hours total flight time
- First class medical certificate
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Boeing 737 type rating
- G650 type rating
- 500+ hours time in type
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Within 2-4 hour travel distance to LAX
- Ability to work on an on-call basis
- Current passport
- Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg

We design and deliver propulsion and defense systems that solve the most urgent and critical national security demands.
As a Staff Loads and Dynamics Analysis Engineer, you will primarily focus on load development across vehicles and propulsion systems. Your secondary focus will either be Global Finite Element Modeling or GN&C. You will be exposed to multiple vehicles, systems, and engines, along with the unique challenges each present. We are looking for experienced analysts who bring new skills and best practices from their prior experience to Ursa and who, in time, will mentor others. You will be expected to lead verification and validation efforts and to provide proactive feedback to our design team based on the results of your work. Lastly, as Ursa ramps up its production rate and begins development on new engine platforms, you will be expected to assess nonconforming hardware, introduce approaches that could improve our team’s efficiency, and potentially venture into engine stress analysis to support others in our multi-disciplinary analysis team. You will report to our Propulsion Analysis Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
You will perform loads development for vehicles and engine programs
You will lead load spectrum development for service life assessment
You will perform vehicle dynamics analysis
You will verify and validate your models
You will work closely with our test team to request the instrumentation necessary to anchor our analytical models
You will support GFEM development for vehicles and propulsion systems
You will propagate loads to vehicle and engine components
You will collaborate with other engineering teams to develop our systems while ensuring they meet requirements and comply with the structural standards we follow
You will collaborate with our manufacturing team to assess nonconforming hardware for development and flight components and provide recommended dispositions and repairs
You will improve our analytical methods and seek out new approaches and tools
You will provide professional development, mentorship, and technical guidance to peers
Minimum Experience/Requirements:
B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace engineering, or a comparable field
8+ years of experience performing L&D analysis
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
Expertise in dynamic analysis methods (structural dynamics, dynamic loads, acoustics , modal, random vibration, shock response)
Working experience in loads development for vehicle and/or engine applications
Experience anchoring analytical models to physical testing
Ideal Experience/Requirements:
M.S. degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable field, ideally focusing on solid mechanics, fatigue, fracture, or structural dynamics
Experience with flutter analysis
GFEM development and model grounding experience
Knowledge of turbomachinery-related analytical methods (e.g., generating Campbell diagrams to assess margins on rotordynamics or structural modes or rotating hardware).
High Cycle Fatigue Analysis (HCF, crack initiation predicted by a stress-life / SN approach)
Low Cycle Fatigue Analysis (LCF, crack initiation predicted by a strain-life / e-N approach)
Experience performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA / FEM) using commercial codes (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, or NASTRAN-based solvers)
Experience with Femap/Nastran
Fracture analysis (crack growth / safe-life and assessing for instability via LEFM, ideally with prior experience using NASGRO)
Experience with the ANSYS FEA suite
A strong theoretical background in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and/or compressible flow
Prior experience working on safety-critical systems in production environments
Prior professional experience working on either rocketry or turbomachinery
Experience supporting failure investigations and root-cause analysis
A track record of working efficiently in fast-paced engineering environments
A track record of effective oral and written communications to support your recommendations
Thermal-Structural static analysis (particularly dealing with nonlinear materials and large strains
Fluid analysis (e.g. Computational Fluid Dynamics / CFD or 1-D transient analysis using SINDA/FLUINT or ROCETS)
Knowledge of composite materials, insulation, and ablative thermal protection systems
Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $140,000 – $170,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. What we can’t quantify for you are the exciting challenges, supportive team, and amazing culture we enjoy.

As a Staff Thermal-Fluids Analysis Engineer you will support all our product design programs through a broad variety of fluid analysis techniques. Our ideal candidate is one proficient in both CFD as well as steady-state and transient 1D (lumped parameter) fluid modeling. You will be exposed to all systems on our engines and the unique challenges each component presents. You will also be expected to leverage existing knowledge to solve difficult problems throughout an engine lifecycle.
You will be expected to assess the risk and performance of the hardware and to provide proactive feedback to our design team regarding how to improve their components based on the results of your work. We are seeking an individual who is excited about solving problems on the edge of technical capabilities by using their deep understanding of fluids, thermodynamics, combustion, and simulation. This individual will be able to apply that understanding to predict the performance of rocket engine components including combustors, manifolds, and turbomachinery.
We are looking for experienced analysts who will be responsible for the technical growth of Ursa Major’s fluid analysis capabilities. You will report to our Propulsion Analysis Team Lead.
Use hand calculations and steady CFD to predict fluid behavior throughout the engine system and its components (e.g. assess pressure drops and mass flow distributions).
Build steady-state and transient 1D models of our engines’ fluid systems to predict matters such as engine components’ operating states and engine startup behavior.
Identify potential design improvements and collaborate with other engineering teams to develop our engines while ensuring they meet our system-level requirements.
Work closely with our test team to request instrumentation necessary to anchor our analytical models.
Support anomaly investigations by building transient 1D fluid models to recreate measurements recorded during engine operation.
Ownership of fluid models of rocket engines and related systems. This will include support of concept and clean-sheet designs, as well as supporting mature system improvements.
Improve upon Ursa’s analytical methods and seek out new approaches and tools.
Provide professional development, mentorship, and technical guidance to peers.
Minimum Experience/Requirements
B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable field.
5+ years of combined fluids analysis experience (CFD and 1D, as detailed below).
Experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) using commercial codes (ANSYS Fluent or CFX preferred, but knowledge of StarCCM+ or similar tools is welcome).
Experience developing steady and transient 1D models of fluid system analyses ideally using ROCETS or GFSSP. Knowledge of SINDA/FLUINT, FloCAD, AFT Arrow/Fathom/Impulse, Flownex, Flowmaster, GT-SUITE, or comparable lumped parameter analysis tools would also be gladly accepted.
Demonstrated experience in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
Programming experience (Python ideal, but MATLAB or other high-level languages acceptable).
Basic experience with 3D CAD software (Creo and NX are ideal).
Experience with complex fluid-mechanical systems – our engines are the product of integrated combustors, turbomachinery, and control systems, all of which must be well understood and optimized.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Prior experience working on safety-critical systems in production environments.
Ideal Experience/Requirements
M.S. or PhD degree in mechanical, aerospace engineering, or a comparable field.
10+ years of combined fluids analysis experience (CFD and 1D, ideally with heavy focus on the specific applications detailed below).
Experience using CFD to predict performance in at least one specialty area: pump performance prediction, turbine performance prediction, cavitation/two-phase modeling, combustion modeling, or unsteady calculations.
Experience using 1D models of fluid systems to predict transient phenomena such as water hammer or engine start-up.
Analysis of cryogenic fluid systems, high-pressure pneumatics, two-phase or supercritical fluid systems, and compressible flows.
Professional experience in rocketry or turbomachinery.

STARLINK MARKET ACCESS & DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR (LATAM)
Starlink, our revolutionary satellite constellation, is delivering low-latency broadband internet in 165 markets worldwide. There is still a long way to go to bring Starlink everywhere as well as growing our existing markets, so we are looking for a Market Access & Development Director to lead new market regulatory efforts, oversee business operations efforts for existing markets, and aid the business in identifying & nurture new commercial opportunities to grow our customer base. In this role, you will be a leader in a customer-facing team that is shaping Starlink’s future presence around the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct in-depth market research to assess demand, the competitive landscape, and any barriers to entry
- Work closely with Starlink’s engineering, operations, logistics, legal, tax, and sales teams to align market development efforts with technical capabilities, product roadmaps, and compliance requirements
- Effectively develop and grow a network of supportive stakeholders across the public and private sectors that can aid in promoting Starlink’s growth in region
- Build and grow a pipeline of commercial opportunities for our Enterprise Sales team to convert into revenue-generating agreements
- Gather, retain, and service diverse customer requirements and work with the product engineering team to iterate on and improve SpaceX offerings to meet the needs of customers

- Ensure we adhere to the administrative regulations in our licenses and address any compliance-related matters in a timely manner
- Identify, nurture, and close strategic connectivity opportunities with schools, hospitals, and other high-impact customers in markets you oversee as part of our corporate and social responsibility efforts.
- Work with the Strategic Connectivity team to execute and ensure delivery is timely and smooth
- Support our Satellite Policy team in expanding the scope of services SpaceX/Starlink is able to offer in markets across your region

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

POSITION SUMMARY
Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy International Markets Manager who is responsible for executing the company’s sales strategy across priority accounts and opportunities. This role serves as the primary operator within the sales lifecycle-owning customer engagement, advancing pipeline, and driving deals to closure within defined strategic and commercial parameters. They are accountable for managing complex sales processes, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring that opportunities are structured, negotiated, and closed in alignment with profitability targets and delivery capabilities.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Own day-to-day customer engagement and relationships across assigned global accounts, serving as the primary commercial interface.
Drive pipeline development by sourcing, shaping, and advancing new opportunities within target markets and accounts.
Conduct initial opportunity assessments and partner with Business Development to support rigorous qualification aligned to strategy and profitability.
Execute the full sales lifecycle from qualification through close, maintaining disciplined pipeline management and forecasting accuracy.
Lead development of commercial proposals and customer-facing materials in coordination with Business Units and BD.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts within established parameters, escalating exceptions as needed to maintain deal integrity.
Support formal capture processes for complex or non-standard opportunities, ensuring clear translation of customer requirements into viable solutions.
Maintain customer ownership post-signature to ensure continuity, enable successful delivery handoff, and drive follow-on growth opportunities.
Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership.
Implementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience

POSITION SUMMARY
Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy International Government Markets Manager responsible for translating international government and sovereign engagement into commercially viable, revenue-generating opportunities. This role serves as the bridge between public-sector relationships and private-sector execution, leveraging deep experience with government stakeholders, procurement environments, and policy dynamics to shape, negotiate, and close complex deals.
This position owns strategic accounts and drives the full sales lifecycle from early market engagement and opportunity shaping through contract execution and long-term account growth. The role requires the ability to navigate multi-layered government decision-making processes while structuring agreements that align with corporate strategy, profitability targets, and operational delivery capabilities. Success in this role is defined by the ability to transform relationships and national-level interest into repeatable commercial outcomes, long-term partnerships, and scalable revenue streams.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and lead account strategy for sovereign and government customers, aligning commercial pursuits with geopolitical priorities, national objectives, and long-term partnership value.
Serve as the relationship owner across ministries, agencies, and state-backed entities, building trusted, executive-level relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
Convert government and sovereign demand signals into structured commercial opportunities, driving pipeline development and revenue growth across international markets.

As a Guidance Navigation and Controls Analysis Engineer you will help lead development of Ursa Major vehicle GNC capabilities. This role will assess dynamic environments, determine appropriate sensor suite and configurations for varying vehicle designs, establish guidance designs. This role will develop GNC system designs into robust, flight-ready software, working across simulation, test, embedded implementation, and hardware-in-the-loop environments. This role is responsible for the 0 to 1 development of major portions of a flight control system, in tight, cross functional coordination with vehicle design, structures and avionics. This role will develop algorithms and associated simulations, ensure compatibility with system design constraints, and validate performance leveraging a mix of Linear Systems Analysis, State Space Methods, Monte Carlo Analysis and deep coordination with Hardware in the Loop analysis of the full system. This position is available to work remote from within the United States or on-site/hybrid in Berthoud, Colorado.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain flight GNC systems for aerospace applications
Translate GNC requirements into models and into efficient, reliable embedded software
Develop and execute simulations to evaluate guidance, navigation, and control performance
Coordinate with design to ensure that vehicle design parameters align with control system requirements.
Support system integration, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), and flight test activities
Analyze test and flight data to assess performance and drive improvements
Contribute to requirements definition, verification, and traceability for GNC functions
Identify and mitigate technical risks through analysis, testing, and peer review
Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical design, avionics, software, and test engineers
Document designs, analyses, and test results for internal and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Professional experience developing GNC models and algorithms for aerospace or defense systems
Strong understanding of classical control, estimation, and vehicle dynamics
Experience implementing algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, or Python or equivalent
Ability to work effectively across disciplines and communicate technical concepts clearly
Ability to work effectively in teams or individually
Desirable Experience:
Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering discipline
Experience with navigation sensors (IMUs, GPS, star trackers, etc.) and state estimation techniques (e.g., Kalman filtering)
Exposure to hardware-in-the-loop testing, flight testing, or operational flight systems
Familiarity with safety-critical or regulated development environments (e.g., DO-178 or equivalent processes)
Prior experience supporting aerospace or defense programs through integration and test phases
Professional experience developing flight software for aerospace or defense systems
Experience developing simulations to evaluate guidance, navigation, and control performance
Experience leading development of GN&C standards

What you’ll do:
