- Build, lead, and scale a multi-team organization — hiring, developing, and retaining engineering managers, principal/staff engineers, and individual contributors as the team grows
- Act as the executive owner of trading systems reliability, performance, and risk, including matching engines, order/execution infrastructure, market data, and FIX connectivity
- Partner directly with the CTO, SVP Engineering, product leadership, and zerohash's other VP(s) of Engineering to set org-wide technical standards, priorities, and engineering culture

Requirements
- 15+ years of software design and development experience, with deep hands-on background in backend and distributed systems
- 8+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing managers and senior/principal/staff engineers
- Proven track record building and scaling engineering organizations (30+ engineers) at a high-growth fintech, trading firm, exchange, or crypto company

- Prior exposure to fast-growth startups and comfort operating with ambiguity
- Exceptional executive communication skills
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills with Product, Compliance, Risk, and Legal
- Cloud computing experience, with AWS highly desirable
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to trading systems (e.g., MiFID II, Reg NMS)
Deep Understanding of Trading Systems
- 10+ years of hands-on experience developing, deploying, and maintaining high-performance, low-latency trading systems (e.g., central limit order books (CLOBs), matching engines, market data feeds)
- Proven experience with FIX Protocol (4.2 and higher) and implementing highly reliable FIX Gateway solutions

Senior Settlement & Trading Operations Engineer
About the Job
zerohash is looking for a Senior Settlement & Trading Operations Engineer to help drive the operations behind our global value transfer infrastructure. This is a hands-on role with real ownership: you'll spend part of your week resolving the most complex settlement and trading breaks yourself, and acting as a subject matter expert for your peers — coordinating the day-to-day, mentoring your colleagues, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
We power crypto and fiat for some of the largest financial and consumer brands in the world, around the clock. That means precision matters, tooling matters, and judgment matters. You'll write SQL & Python, dig through transaction logs, and coordinate releases with Product and Engineering — but you'll also be the person a newer teammate turns to when a sweep looks wrong at 6pm, and the responsible party to keep operations steady when the team lead is out.
If you like the combination of financial operations, engineering, and quietly keeping a complex machine running, this is a role with a lot of surface area.
Responsibilities
Own daily settlement and trading operations. Oversee end-to-end processing of crypto and fiat movements — deposits, withdrawals, internal transfers, and sweeps — so that everything settles accurately and inside its window. When something stalls, you're the one who figures out why and spearheads the solution.
Run reconciliations that actually reconcile. Perform multi-way checks across internal ledgers, bank and custodian statements, and partner float files. Track down the discrepancies, explain the "why" behind each break, and drive it to a clean number rather than a close-enough one.
Manage the trade lifecycle. Keep trading activity flowing correctly from execution through settlement, and handle the occasional exception — a correction or adjustment — safely and idempotently when it comes up. You're comfortable operating in production, and you know when to pause and double-check before making a change.
Get to the bottom of things. Chase failed transfers, mismatched balances, and stuck flows — writing SQL against production tables and reading distributed transaction logs to find what actually went wrong. Capture what you learn in runbooks so the team's procedures and readiness keep improving as we scale.
Automate the repetitive work. Write and maintain Python that takes on reconciliations, participant liquidations, and other recurring tasks, so the team spends less time on manual steps and turns work around faster.
Support partner go-lives and asset listing. Stress-test new features and new asset listings in lower environments, run through go-live validation with partners, and give Product and Engineering the operational feedback that only shows up when you actually run the system.
Work with AI tooling. We use LLMs day to day — to draft and debug scripts, spot anomalies in settlement data, and get documentation written faster. You already work this way, and you can help the rest of the team get more out of these tools.
Report on operational health. Build and maintain the dashboards and data models that show leadership how transactions, liquidity, and operational performance are trending — and flag the things worth worrying about before they become incidents.
Be a technical point of contact for institutional partners. Help resolve complex transaction inquiries and API integration questions, translating between what the partner is seeing and what's actually happening in our systems.
You'll participate in the team's on-call rotation and share responsibility for off-hours coverage.
Requirements
- 5–8 years in financial operations, settlement, payments, or a related technical back-office role, including some experience mentoring or leading others. Crypto, stablecoin, or digital asset experience is a plus.
- Strong Python. Able to write, debug, and maintain scripts independently, including data manipulation, error handling, and REST API integration.
- Strong SQL. Comfortable with multi-table joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions against large datasets.
- Hands-on with AI tooling. Regular use of AI-assisted tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) for writing code, investigating problems, and producing documentation.
- API fluency. Solid understanding of API design and experience using tools like Postman against production financial systems.
- Attention to detail. Experience in environments where errors carry financial consequences, and the disciplined habits to prevent them.
- Clear communication. Able to explain a technical issue clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Benefits
- Healthcare Insurance: zerohash covers roughly 100% of employee premiums as well as a portion of spouse/children (U.S. only)
- Vision & Dental Insurance (U.S. only)
- Chance to earn equity
- Maternity & Paternity leave (after 6 months)
- WeWork All Access Membership
- WFH Yearly Stipend

Account Executive, Stablecoins & Payments
About Bastion
Bastion provides the regulated infrastructure businesses need to hold, move, and issue stablecoins. Our platform combines custodial wallets, global payment orchestration, and stablecoin issuance. Customers can use each product independently or connect them into a single end-to-end flow.
We operate through our own regulated entities, with compliance and risk controls built directly into the platform. We can also support customers operating under their own licenses with the compliance and financial operations required to run their programs.
Overview
We’re hiring an Account Executive to run Bastion’s sales motion for our custody and conversion products. Our customers are fintechs, payments providers, and crypto companies that need wallet infrastructure and global asset conversion rails. Your job is to find them, get in front of them, and close them.
Your targets already know they need to move money. The sale is showing them Bastion does it better, faster, and with regulatory coverage they can trust. You will use our outbound infrastructure to generate pipeline at scale, qualify inbound, and convert prospects into customers moving live volume.
You will partner with our technical account manager on technical evaluation and integration scoping, our commercial strategy lead on deal structuring and pricing, and our legal team on agreement terms. The technical and commercial heavy lifting is supported. You find the right companies, run a clean process, and close.
This is an individual contributor role, building the custody and conversion motion from the ground up on a small team. You will own your own pipeline and operate independently. You will be polished enough to sit in on enterprise conversations when it helps, and your own number is the custody and conversion motion.
This role is based in New York City in a flexible, hybrid environment. It reports to our CEO.
Work to Be Done
Instead of a long list of requirements, here is what success should look like in your first 60 days.
We move quickly. You should be contributing in your first week, showing clear impact within 30 days, and operating independently by day 60. By then, it should be clear to both sides that this is the right fit.
If you think this is something you can handle, we will be excited to speak with you.
First 15 days: Sell while you learn
Join live customer calls in week one to see how we position, price, and close
Take over inbound qualification by week two, running structured discovery on every prospect
Learn our outbound tooling and target list logic, then generate your own pipeline
Map the active pipeline and identify which conversations you can move forward now
Learn the products well enough to run a credible first call solo
By 30 days: Own the number
Run the full sales process end to end
Hit a sustainable outbound cadence across email, LinkedIn, warm intros, and conference follow-ups
Generate enough qualified pipeline to support quarterly revenue and payment volume targets
Document the sales process with clear stages, exit criteria, and SLAs per team
Disqualify poor-fit prospects fast so your time goes to deals that close
Give leadership a forecast they can rely on
By 60 days: Scale what works
Refine outbound messaging and targeting against your own conversion data
Feed segment and win-loss patterns back to commercial strategy and product
Build a playbook a second seller could run: talk tracks, objections, pricing, templates
Expand into the adjacent segments or geographies where demand is strongest
Partner with brand and comms to turn wins into case studies and references
Leave a documented motion that runs without your personal relationships
Challenges you will tackle
You will sell to two buyers in the same deal. CTOs and engineering leads want API specs and integration architecture. Finance teams want flow of funds and settlement mechanics. Getting both to a decision on the same timeline is the work.
Some customers want to integrate this week. That urgency is real, and it is your advantage if you can match it. It means same-day sandbox access, stripping friction out of every step, and knowing which internal favors to call in.
The best prospects have not started looking yet. Most companies that need custody and conversion infrastructure do not know it is a category they should be shopping. You will find them before an RFP exists, which means building the target thesis yourself rather than waiting on demand.
Well-funded competitors will be in most of your deals. Bastion wins on product flexibility, regulatory coverage, and speed of integration. You will need to make those advantages concrete to a buyer comparing datasheets, and recognize the deals worth walking away from.
The market will move under you. Regulation, competitive dynamics, and customer needs are all shifting quickly. The targeting and positioning that work in month one will not hold by month six, and you will be the first to notice.

Brand and Communications Lead
About Bastion
Bastion builds regulated financial infrastructure for modern businesses. Bastion's full stack product suite covers stablecoin issuance, custodial wallet infrastructure, and global asset conversion rails, with the flexibility to deploy individual capabilities or combine them end-to-end.
Bastion's regulated foundation underpins a compliance-first approach to risk management, ensuring the integrity and security of all financial activity within its systems. Bastion holds the appropriate licenses for its own operations, but can also act as a service provider, offering compliance and financial operations support under our customers’ licenses.
Overview
We are hiring a Brand and Communications Lead to make Bastion known to every institution that should be building with us.
Bastion already has the substance: proven product-market fit, marquee enterprise customers, a regulated trust charter, and infrastructure major institutions rely on. What we need now is a market presence that matches the strength of the business.
You will own how Bastion is positioned and shows up in the world, from messaging and visual identity to press, executive visibility, industry relationships, and targeted campaigns. Your work should build trust, bring the right customers to Bastion, and shape how the market thinks about the future of financial infrastructure.
You will work directly with the CEO on building Bastion’s image, voice, and presence in the market.
Fintech or financial services experience is a strong advantage. This market rewards credibility, precision, and a real understanding of how institutions make decisions.
This role is ideally based in New York City, with a flexible hybrid setup.
Work to Be Done
Instead of a long list of requirements, here is what success should look like in your first 60 days.
We move quickly. You should be contributing in your first week, showing clear impact within 30 days, and operating independently by day 60. By then, it should be clear to both sides that this is the right fit.
First 15 days: Learn the business and start shipping
Learn Bastion’s product, customers, regulatory position, and competitive landscape
Understand how buyers find us, what matters in sales conversations, and where our story is weak
Audit our website, content, press, events, and overall market presence
Ship impactful work in your first week
By 30 days: Set the direction and build momentum
Define the target audiences, messaging, and channels to prioritize
Develop a scalable content and communications production workflow leveraging AI tooling and contractors to operate at high velocity
Improve how Bastion shows up across social media, website, and other prioritized channels
Build an active pipeline of press, events, and speaking opportunities
Align with Product, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure a steady stream of high signal communications from Bastion to the market
Launch the first targeted campaigns for the businesses we want to work with
Start tracking performance of brand & comms work via inbound qualified leads and pipeline influence
By 60 days: Market sees Bastion
Own Bastion’s positioning, voice, and external communications calendar
Establish a steady cadence of high-signal company news, content, executive communications, and market commentary
Secure initial press coverage, speaking opportunities, or other credible third-party visibility, with a strong pipeline behind it
Have targeted campaigns live and reaching the right businesses and decision-makers
Build a direct feedback loop with the Commercial team so our messaging reflects what moves buyers and we can see where the work is influencing customer conversations and pipeline
Know what is working, what is not, and where to focus next
Operate independently, make good judgment calls, and maintain a high quality bar without slowing down
As a result of your work, we see a fast growing amount of qualified inbound leads and positively influenced qualified leads on the rest of the pipeline
Hard challenges you will tackle
Building brand awareness from scratch. There’s no existing playbook, press list, or event history to build from. You will be building the function while running it, making decisions with imperfect information, testing quickly, and iterating toward what works.
Creating a market presence breakthrough. Incremental progress will not be enough. Bastion needs to go from being known mainly within our existing network to being recognized by the institutions, partners, reporters, and talent that matter. You will need to find the campaigns, moments, and relationships that can make that happen.
Earning press in a space that's noisy and focuses on already known household names. Most coverage goes to the biggest companies and the loudest stories. You will need to find genuinely newsworthy angles in Bastion’s work, build real relationships with reporters, and earn attention without relying on existing hype.
Buyers of Bastion are diverse. Bastion’s customers include Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, fintechs, and stablecoin-native payments companies. They do not speak the same language or make decisions the same way. You need to adapt the message to each audience without creating a different company story for each one.
Operating as a team of one, with the impact of a team of 5. We expect you to leverage AI tooling and contractors for your work using your best judgement to maintain a high quality bar, in a space that’s very sensitive to AI slop. Your ultimate metric of success is influenced pipeline and inbound qualified leads.

Highly organized, proactive, and able to operate independently.

Sales Operations Manager
About the Job
As a Sales Operations Manager, you'll drive sales efficiency at a pivotal moment in our growth. You'll be the bridge between our sales team and leadership—analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and building the process that let our team move faster without sacrificing rigor.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Efficiency & Analytics: Dive into sales data to uncover patterns, optimize pipeline velocity, and identify where we're winning. Build dashboards and reports that tell stories our leadership needs to act on.
- KPI Tracking & Forecasting: Own our sales KPIs (pipeline health, win rates, deal velocity, quota attainment). Build forecasting models that actually work and adjust them as the market changes. You'll become our source of truth for helping leadership make data-informed decisions.
- Sales Tool & Process Optimization: We're moving fast. You'll audit our sales tech stack (Salesforce, our CRM, outreach tools), identify gaps, champion new tools, and ensure adoption by making them easy to use—not just mandating them, building documentation that sellers actually follow.
- Workflow Bridging: Sales ops is where the rubber meets the road. You'll work directly with account executives, the sales leadership team, and enabling functions (marketing, legal, finance) to optimize handoffs, reduce friction, and keep deals moving. You'll flag when our processes aren't working before they become bottlenecks.
- Deal Desk Support: Partner with deal desk on pricing, structure, and margin tracking. You'll help sales understand what deals are accretive and why margins matter in a high-growth environment.
- Forecasting & Planning: As we scale, you'll work with sales leadership to model capacity, territory planning, and resource allocation. You'll get comfortable saying "no" when it's the right call.
Requirements
- Comfort with data & ambiguity. You can work in SQL, Python, or BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.). You're not afraid to get your hands dirty with messy data or model something from scratch with incomplete information.
- Relentlessly curious about sales. You understand the sales motion—pipeline, qualification, velocity, margin, forecasting. You know why sellers care about CRM discipline, and you can make them care too.
- A builder, not a ticket-taker. You own outcomes. You don't wait for someone to tell you what to analyze; you see a problem, you dig in, and you come back with a hypothesis. You're comfortable iterating when things don't work the first time.
- Credible with both data and people. You can present to executives with confidence and simplicity. You can also sit with a seller and genuinely understand their workflow before redesigning it.
- Comfortable in financial/crypto context. You don't need to be an expert, but you should have enough background to understand on/off-ramps, MSB compliance, stablecoins, or at least show genuine interest in learning. Deal complexity in financial infrastructure requires domain fluency.
- High bias to action. You'll be in a startup environment where "good now" often beats "perfect later." You can scope a project, execute it, gather feedback, and iterate in sprints.
Preferred
- Experience with Salesforce, Slack API, or other SaaS stack automation.
- Exposure to financial services, compliance, or regulated environments with bonus points for crypto/stablecoin experience and/or curiosity.
- You've worked at a high-growth company where sales ops mattered to unit economics.
Benefits
- Healthcare Insurance: zerohash covers roughly 100% of employee premiums as well as a portion of spouse/children (U.S. only)
- Vision & Dental Insurance (U.S. only)
- Chance to earn equity
- Maternity & Paternity leave (after 6 months)
- WeWork All Access Membership
- WFH Yearly Stipend
- L&D Yearly Stipend (after 6 months)
About zerohash
zerohash is the leading crypto and stablecoin infrastructure platform and the operating system for digital money, powering the next generation of financial services. Founded in 2017, zerohash enables banks, brokerages, fintechs, and payment companies to offer crypto trading, stablecoin payments, and tokenized assets without having to build or manage complex blockchain infrastructure on their own.
The zerohash platform supports three core pillars: Trade, Transact, and Tokenize. Through a single integration, customers can launch regulated crypto buy, sell, and custody services; enable 24/7 stablecoin-based funding, payouts, and settlement; and issue and manage tokenized assets with built-in compliance, risk controls, and reporting. By abstracting away technical, regulatory, and operational complexity, zerohash allows partners to treat digital assets as just another financial primitive: fast, programmable, and global.
zerohash is trusted by some of the world’s most recognized financial and consumer brands, including Interactive Brokers, Morgan Stanley, Stripe, Franklin Templeton, BlackRock, DraftKings, Gusto, Worldpay, Kalshi, One Pay, among others. Today, zerohash infrastructure supports millions of end users across brokerage, wealth, payments, and marketplace platforms globally.
The company is deeply regulated and compliance-first, operating across the U.S. and internationally with licenses and approvals that allow partners to enter crypto and stablecoins with confidence. zerohash has become a trusted partner for enterprises seeking to modernize financial products while meeting the highest standards for security, risk management, and regulatory oversight.
To date, zerohash has raised over $280 million in funding from a mix of leading venture firms and strategic investors, including Morgan Stanley, Interactive Brokers, SoFi, Point72 Ventures, Bain Capital Crypto, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and more.
zerohash has been featured in top-tier media outlets such as Bloomberg, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Reuters, Forbes, and CoinDesk, and its leadership team regularly contributes to global conversations on the future of payments, investing, and financial infrastructure.
At zerohash, we're building the infrastructure that makes digital money work securely, compliantly, and at global scale.

- Transparency - We believe that transparency is critical to empowering everyone to make the best decisions, both the company to its people and vice versa.
