Description
WHO WE ARE
Come join the company at the center of how the world adopts AI securely. Cyera’s mission is to give enterprises the confidence to embrace AI safely — deciding exactly what it can see and do as it reaches deeper into the business. We started by solving the hardest problem in data security: finding and securing data faster and more precisely than anyone thought possible. That foundation is now the essential AI trust infrastructure for the Fortune 1000. We’re hiring mission-driven talent to put those leaders at the center of our story.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Cyera is building a Training and Education function from the ground up — the team that teaches customers and partners how to get full value from the platform. This is a founding leadership role: you will design the strategy, build and lead the team, and select the technology stack needed to run a modern customer education function.
Educated customers renew more, escalate less, and adopt faster. This role will build external-facing training, education, and certification programs — for customers and channel partners — that scale adoption as the customer base grows and give certified partners the credibility to deliver and support implementations independently.
You will report to the Chief Customer Officer and partner closely with Product Management, Channel & Partnerships, Support, and Finance to build a function that is credible, measurable, and fundable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy & Program Ownership
Own the training and education strategy end-to-end, spanning pre-engagement onboarding, admin fundamentals, hands-on labs, certification, and partner accreditation.
Define and defend the program's ROI model — onboarding readiness, skill validation, support-ticket reduction, product adoption, and partner quality — and report outcomes to executive stakeholders.
Prioritize investment by impact, balancing low-effort, high-value initiatives against deeper, longer-term capabilities.
Curriculum & Learning Experience
Direct the design of self-service learning paths, instructor-led (VILT/ILT) training, and hands-on lab curricula for customer admins, operators, and partner engineers.
Establish a governance model that keeps the curriculum current as the product evolves, informed by real-world adoption and support signals.
Evaluate where AI can responsibly scale the program — localization, adaptive learning paths, and an AI tutor — while keeping subject-matter-expert review as the source of truth.
Certification & Partner Training
Build a role-based certification program (e.g., Certified Platform Admin) with defensible, proctored exams.
Design the partner certification pathway — learn, practice, validate, authorize, monitor — so accredited partners can deliver and support implementations independently.
Team & Vendor Management
Hire, lead, and grow the Training and Education team, building a full function of instructional designers, trainers, lab engineers, a curriculum manager, and certification specialists.
Own the technology stack and vendor relationships across the LMS, content authoring, hands-on lab platform, exam delivery, and digital badging — negotiating contracts and managing budget.
Analytics & Executive Reporting
Stand up and continuously evolve an outcomes dashboard covering training completion, lab completion, certified users, trained-vs-untrained support volume, and onboarding readiness.
Represent the function in front of the CCO and cross-functional leadership, translating program activity into business impact.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
8+ years leading customer-facing training, education, or certification programs - building or scaling an external learning organization - ideally at a B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure company.
Track record owning a P&L or budget for a training/education function, including vendor selection and contract negotiation (LMS, authoring platforms, lab environments, exam proctoring).
Experience designing certification and partner accreditation programs that gate independent delivery on demonstrated competency, not just course completion.
Comfort operating at both altitudes - setting strategy for executive stakeholders while staying close to the mechanics of certification exams, lab environments, and the learning platform.
People leadership experience, including hiring and developing instructional designers, trainers, and lab engineers.
Fluency measuring training outcomes - completion, certification pass rates, support deflection, adoption - rather than just tracking content delivered.
A background in product management, or in a security/data-focused product function, is a strong plus, given the technical depth required to build credible, technically rigorous certification standards.
COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.
This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors. In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This senior Product Management execution role, focused on cross-program work will work in coordination with program-aligned Product Managers and the Operations team to achieve objectives.
The ideal candidate for this hands-on contract role will be someone who can operate independently, quickly understand complex product and business context, organize ambiguous workstreams, and drive practical progress without heavy direction.
Key Responsibilities
GTM request process
- Define and help implement a clearer process for handling GTM-related Product requests.
- Create structure for CX enhancement requests, Sales/CX/AE strategic requests, larger revenue-risk requests, intake, triage, prioritization, and status communication.
- Reduce ad hoc request handling and create a more consistent way for field-facing teams to engage Product.
CX priority tracker
- Implement a tracker for quarterly CX priorities that gives business stakeholders better visibility than Jira alone.
- Include business-facing status, deployment context, Jira mapping, ownership, and clarity on whether changes are broadly available, customer-specific, or still in planning.
Roadmap management and Q4 roadmap support
- Support roadmap execution and process improvement, including the Q4 roadmap refresh, roadmap coordination, roadmap management approach, and formalized roadmap meetings, interviews, timing, and milestones.
- Help Product move toward a more repeatable and scalable roadmap operating model.
AI pricing and AI GTM coordination
- Help drive AI-related Product Management work, including finalizing AI pricing and coordinating AI GTM activity across programs.
- Partner with Product, GTM, Sales, CX, Enablement, and other stakeholders so AI commercialization is cohesive rather than fragmented across product areas.
Release notes overhaul
- Improve the release notes process, including curation, content quality, presentation, and delivery.
- Explore smart release notes that use AI to customize release information by customer based on inputs such as Jira tickets, call recordings, Slack channels, or other relevant signals.
FY2028 customer expansion and retention planning
- Partner with internal stakeholders to build a forward-looking customer expansion and retention plan.
- Help Product understand which customers need proactive attention, where roadmap impact may be required, and how customer risk or expansion opportunities should influence Product planning.
AI-enabled roadmap improvement
- Explore ways to use AI to improve roadmap planning and communication.
- Incorporate AI-derived customer information as roadmap input, use AI to evaluate roadmap options, and create customer-specific roadmap views or summaries.
Requirements
- 10 years of SaaS Product Management with 3 years managing complex products that rely on integrations
- Experience building a product strategy and a supporting roadmap
- New product full-lifecycle management experience
- B2B experience, including working with Fortune 500 customers, including managing the customer to achieve desired outcomes
- Very strong ability to drive cross-functional teams, schedules, and decisions
- Experience working with India based Engineering & QA
- Experience driving all aspects of the software development lifecycle with development teams - iteration themes, backlog grooming, story mapping, and user story creation
- Experience defining/prioritizing detailed product requirements
- Ability to think strategically and articulate a long-term product vision and then roll up your sleeves to get things done
- Ability to proactively monitor, analyze, and resolve release dependencies, issues, and risks
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with great follow-through on projects
What Success Looks Like
- A clearer GTM Product request process is defined and moving toward adoption.
- CX priorities are easier for stakeholders to track and understand.
- Q4 roadmap planning is better coordinated and more structured.
- Roadmap management has a clearer process, tool approach, and operating cadence.
- AI pricing and AI GTM work are better organized across programs.
- Release notes have a stronger process, format, and delivery model.
- Customer expansion and retention needs are better connected to roadmap planning.
- AI is being explored as a practical tool for improving roadmap inputs, evaluation, and customer-specific communication.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has experience in some combination of the following:
- Product Management, Product Strategy, Product GTM, or product-led business execution.
- SaaS or enterprise software environments.
- Cross-functional execution across Product, GTM, CX, Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering, and leadership teams.
- Roadmap planning, product intake, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
- GTM readiness, release communication, pricing, packaging, or commercialization work.

About the Implementation Team
The Implementation team sits within Secureframe's customer organization and works closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Security, Support, and our partner ecosystem. This team is responsible for helping customers move from signed contract to real operational readiness: scoped environments, configured platform workflows, clear control ownership, evidence collection, remediation tracking, and a credible path to CMMC assessment.
This is an early role on a team we are building from scratch. The right person is not only comfortable delivering customer implementations; they want to help define what excellent CMMC implementation looks like at Secureframe. You will create playbooks, improve handoffs, identify repeatable delivery patterns, pressure-test service packaging, and help turn early
customer engagements into a scalable implementation motion.
About the Role

You will serve as the primary customer-facing owner for implementation execution, coordinating across internal teams, external partners, and customer

This role requires strong project leadership, technical fluency, customer empathy, and comfort operating in ambiguity. CMMC customers often need more than software onboarding: they need help understanding scope, CUI and FCI handling, SSP and POA&M workflows, asset categorization, evidence expectations, secure environment decisions, partner responsibilities, and C3PAO readiness. You will not be expected to personally perform every technical remediation, but you must be able to understand the work, drive accountability, and help the customer make steady progress.
