The Mandate
The Bay Area is the global center of gravity for AI, venture capital, and the builders defining the next decade of technology. Solana Foundation is making it a strategic priority — and we are looking for a senior leader to own it, end to end.
As GM, AI Ecosystem, you will be the Foundation's most senior presence in Silicon Valley and the single point of accountability for Solana's growth in the region. This is not a community or events role with a bigger title. You will set regional strategy, control a dedicated budget, make funding decisions that seed new teams and initiatives, and personally carry the relationships that determine whether the most ambitious companies of this cycle build on Solana — or somewhere else.
Your defining mandate is to bridge Solana and the AI & emerging tech worlds. The convergence of AI and crypto — agents that transact, decentralized compute, verifiable inference, machine-to-machine payments — is one of the most consequential frontiers in technology, and it is being built here. You will be the person who convinces the people building it that Solana is the chain to build it on, and who turns that conviction into shipped products.
This is a high-autonomy, high-visibility, capital-backed leadership role. Physical presence in the Bay Area is a hard requirement.
What You'll Own
Regional strategy and outcomes. Own Solana Foundation's entire strategy and presence in the Bay Area. You set the priorities, and you are accountable for the results.
The AI × Solana bridge. Build deep relationships across the AI/ML startup, research, and infrastructure communities, and make the case — credibly and technically — for building cutting-edge AI products and use cases on Solana. Convert that conviction into real projects.
Founder and developer ecosystem. Identify, cultivate, and activate the region's strongest builders, turning them into long-term Solana ecosystem participants.
VC and capital relationships. Build trusted relationships with the Bay Area's top VCs, accelerators, and incubators to drive high-quality deal flow and co-investment into the Solana ecosystem.
Flagship presence. Set the regional event strategy — hackathons, founder dinners, technical salons, and marquee side events at major conferences — and hold a bar of quality that matches the caliber of people you're trying to attract.
Strategic partnerships. Forge partnerships across AI, fintech, and consumer tech that create compounding leverage for Solana's reach and narrative.
Voice of the region. Represent the Foundation in high-stakes conversations with investors, founders, and press, and feed sharp market intelligence back to global leadership to shape Solana's broader strategy.

A senior operator with a decade or more across venture capital, ecosystem leadership, company founding or scaling, product or growth at a top-tier technology organization — with a track record others can point to.
Deeply networked in the Bay Area, with real, earned relationships among founders, investors, and operators that you can activate from day one.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an Engineering Operations Lead to join our Engineering team. This is a dynamic role that combines elements of operations, strategic support, and organizational management. You’ll play a crucial role in helping to streamline business processes, assist with key product launches, and manage the operational rhythm of the Engineering org.
The Engineering Operations Lead is designed to be a strategic enabler for this mission. By owning the operational backbone of our Engineering team and serving as the key operator for the org, you will remove friction, improve execution speed, and ensure Engineering teams operate at peak performance. You will serve as the connective tissue between Engineering and its cross-functional partners, abstracting away internal complexity so the team can focus on what it does best: shipping.
This is an operations and strategy role. You own the systems, data, and cadence that let the org run itself. Build the rigor and structure that scale with the team, not chasing individual tasks.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Core Business Strategy
Strategic Advisory: Serve as a strategic advisor to the CTO, Engineering Leadership and Product Leads. Provide hands-on advisory across internal process design, team organizational op model, data insights and day-to-day operational decision making. You’ll ensure the team is executing on its strategic priorities throughout the year.
Data-Driven Insights: Deliver analysis that helps inform team performance, productivity metrics, weekly readouts, and key areas of optimization.
Priortization Framework: Build and maintain the frameworks that help Engineering focus capacity on the highest-impact initiatives and make clear, defensible trade-offs when priorities compete.
POKR Management & Tracking: Oversee and track Engineering OKRs, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term vision and strategy; surface trends, flag risks, and keep priorities on course.
Operational Execution
Operating Cadence & Delivery: Run the operational rhythm of the org including planning cycles, milestone & dependency tracking, and delivery visibility. Ensure commitments are clear and the team consistently hits its objectives.
Dashboards & Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards that make goals, progress, and delivery health visible to leadership and teams.
ENG Operations Management: Handle day-to-day Engineering operations, including Linear initiatives and projects, deadline management, and project prioritization, to ensure the team meets its objectives efficiently. You will own Linear end-to-end as the org’s source of structure for work management.
Process Design & Automation: Identify and close operational gaps across the delivery lifecycle through improved workflows and automation, building scalable processes from the ground up.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with other Operations leads and act as the operational bridge between Engineering and its cross-functional partners (Product, BD, Finance, Legal, Marketing).
ENG Ops Trainings: Develop and run training sessions for the Engineering team, empowering them with the tools and processes needed to succeed.
WHO YOU ARE
5+ years of experience in business operations, engineering operations, or a similar function. Ideally within a FinTech, high-growth tech startup, or Web3 environment.
Deep understanding of how engineering organizations run: operating-model design, prioritization frameworks, operating cadence, and execution systems.
Proven ability to build and improve operational processes from the ground up (SOPs, automation, cross-functional workflows).
Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards, performance reports, and data-driven recommendations.
Excellent cross-functional communication. You thrive as the connective tissue between Engineering, BD, Finance, Legal, Product, and Marketing.
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and ambiguity.
Hands-on familiarity with Linear (or a comparable execution / issue-tracking system) and modern operational tooling.
Experience supporting or partnering closely with executive leadership is a strong plus.

We are looking for a UX Design Lead to own the end-to-end user experience for our biometric iris-verification ecosystem. This role spans the full journey of both the person being scanned and the device operator who facilitates verification across a global deployment environment. You will shape every touchpoint—physical, digital, audio, and environmental—and ensure a seamless, intuitive, and trustworthy experience.
As a senior member of the Design Lab, you will drive research, concept development, new product introduction, and ongoing support for millions of in-field devices. The reasonably estimated salary for this role at TFH in San Francisco ranges from $221,000 - $260,000, plus a competitive long term incentive package, and may include variable compensation.
