Corelight is seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Customer Success to lead our Technical Account Management and Customer Success Management teams. In this role, you will provide strategic direction for the Customer Success organization, driving retention, adoption, and growth across our enterprise and strategic customer base while ensuring customers realize measurable value from their investment in Corelight.
What You'll Do
- Own gross and net retention targets for the enterprise segment, partnering closely with Sales to drive on-time renewals, reduce churn, and expand existing accounts through a proactive, value-driven engagement model.
- Build and implement the playbooks, customer health scoring, and success plans that drive platform adoption and help customers achieve measurable security outcomes throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Define the performance metrics and benchmarks used to measure Customer Success, including NRR, GRR, adoption, customer health, and time-to-value, while regularly analyzing performance to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Turn customer usage, engagement, and lifecycle data into actionable insights that strengthen customer strategy, surface risk, and improve business decision-making.
- Identify at-risk accounts and the issues affecting customer satisfaction, adoption, and renewal, then lead proactive mitigation and escalation strategies to improve customer outcomes.
- Partner with Sales to identify and drive renewal, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities that contribute directly to sustainable revenue growth.
- Establish the people, processes, and data needed to ensure the voice of the customer influences product roadmap decisions, program policies, and customer communications.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Product, Support, and Professional Services to improve handoffs, increase operational efficiency, and deliver an exceptional end-to-end customer experience.
- Lead, develop, and motivate the Enterprise Customer Success Management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, inclusion, accountability, and customer focus.
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of relevant Customer Success, Customer Experience, or related domain experience, including at least 5 years in leadership and experience managing managers or multiple customer-facing teams.
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- A demonstrated track record of owning and delivering against retention, GRR, NRR, and expansion targets.
- Strong understanding of the enterprise sales cycle and how Customer Success, Professional Services, and Renewals work together to deliver customer outcomes.
- Experience with Customer Success platforms such as Gainsight, Catalyst, or similar solutions, including defining and measuring the customer journey.
- Deep understanding of Customer Success metrics, including NRR, GRR, churn, adoption, customer health scoring, and forecasting.
- Proven ability to identify meaningful patterns within customer interactions and usage data, translating insights into actions that improve customer outcomes.
- The ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing customer-facing teams at both the manager and individual contributor level.
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to identify patterns, solve problems, and scale processes across a growing enterprise customer base.
- A service-oriented, outcome-driven mindset with strong commercial acumen and sound business judgment.
- Experience in cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS is a strong advantage.

The Role
The Renewals Manager (Federal & SLED) will be an integral part of Corelight’s Public Sector sales engine. In this role, you will combine strong commercial operations skills with a modern, tech-forward mindset to drive high retention rates, manage a tight forecast, and uncover expansion opportunities within our government and education customer base.
The ideal candidate possesses sharp attention to detail for complex quoting and co-terming scenarios, while being semi-fluent in AI concepts—eager to leverage AI tools and custom agents to automate routine administrative tasks, scale outreach, and optimize the renewal pipeline.
You will work closely with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), Technical Account Managers (TAMs), Customer Support, Channel Partners, Sales Operation and Finance teams to ensure the long-term success and continuous protection of our public sector customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Renewals: Own, manage, and optimize the renewal pipeline for Federal and SLED accounts, consistently striving to meet or exceed a 90%+ monthly retention metric.
- Quoting & Co-Terming: Generate accurate, timely renewal quotes and navigate complex co-terming adjustments to align multiple customer subscriptions and streamline public sector procurement.
- Forecast Management: Maintain a highly accurate, reliable, and up-to-date renewal forecast within Salesforce, providing clear visibility into monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year-end expectations.
- AI-Driven Optimization: Utilize and build custom AI prompts, workflows, or basic agents to streamline account research, automate customized outreach, and scale your daily sales operations.
- Public Sector Navigation: Proactively engage customers early in the renewal cycle to navigate complex government procurement processes, fiscal year-end deadlines, and budgetary constraints.
- Identify Growth: Properly qualify and surface up-sell and cross-sell opportunities in close alignment with the field sales teams.
- Churn Mitigation: Build and maintain a proactive system to identify "at-risk" accounts, collaborating with TAMs and support to resolve adoption hurdles before the renewal date.
- Data Integrity: Maintain meticulous records, forecasting, and tracking of all renewal activities and metrics within Salesforce.com.
Qualifications
What You Bring:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience managing renewals, account management, or sales operations for Federal, State, Local Government, or Education (SLED) customers, preferably within the cybersecurity, SaaS, or public sector technology markets.
- Operational Excellence: Strong proficiency in generating quotes, handling co-terming scenarios, and maintaining a high level of forecast accuracy.
- AI Literacy: Semi-fluent in AI technologies; practical experience using LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and building basic AI agents or automated workflows to increase personal or team productivity.
- Public Sector Familiarity: Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes, including use of GSA, IDIQs, BPAs, SEWP, and SLED cooperative agreements (NASPO, OMNIA, Sourcewell, etc.) and working alongside public sector channel partners/distributors is highly preferred.
- Salesforce Fluency: Direct experience working within Salesforce.com (knowledge of CPQ tools or the broader Salesforce ecosystem is a strong plus).
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with an articulate, professional phone and video presence.
- Execution Focus: Proven time-management and follow-up skills; a results-oriented mindset with the ability to create valid, value-driven business reasons to engage customers.

As the Senior Manager of Security Intelligence, you will provide strategic leadership, organizational design, and vision for the Security Intelligence function. You will design and champion an automation-first, LLM-driven intelligence strategy across the enterprise, own the global incident response and vulnerability management capabilities, and collaborate with executive leadership to define, measure, and scale Corelight's overall corporate security posture.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Strategic Automation & Modernization Strategy: Define and execute the long-term vision for an automation-first culture, driving the adoption of next-generation security orchestration and LLM-first frameworks to radically compress response times across all enterprise environments.
- Executive Collaboration & Alignment: Partner with the CISO and cross-functional VP-level stakeholders to align security intelligence initiatives with broader business objectives, ensuring seamless integration across Product, Engineering, and Information Security.
- Metrics, Governance & Risk Reporting: Synthesize complex incident, threat, and vulnerability telemetry into strategic, high-impact executive dashboards and board-ready metrics, providing clear visibility into systemic risks and mitigation progress.
- Enterprise Incident Lifecycle Ownership: Serve as the ultimate authority for global security incident response, ensuring the organization maintains world-class readiness, continuous post-mortem evolution, and regulatory/compliance alignment.
- Organizational Design & Talent Cultivation: Lead, scale, and mentor a multi-tiered organization of high-performing security engineers and leads. Drive workforce planning, headcount budgeting, performance cultures, and career paths that attract and retain top-tier technical talent.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent; a minimum of 8–10+ years of progressive experience in Security Intelligence, Threat Intel, or Security Operations.
- Leadership: Minimum of 5 years of formal people-management experience, with a proven track record of leading multi-tiered teams or expanding a specialized security function at scale.
- Framework & Compliance Governance: Expert-level understanding of major security frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, SAIF) with demonstrable experience leveraging them to build enterprise risk and defense metrics.
- Program Oversight: Proven experience overseeing enterprise-wide offensive security programs, including comprehensive red-teaming, external penetration testing, and continuous vulnerability disclosure protocols.
- Automation Architecture: Demonstrated success in funding, designing, or implementing advanced automation (SOAR, custom LLM integrations) to optimize large-scale incident workflows.
