Internship Overview You won't be running coffee orders or shuffling paperwork this summer. At Fervo, interns are handed something real: a project of your own, scoped with your manager on day one and yours to drive for the full 12 weeks. You'll work side-by-side with the teams building the next generation of geothermal energy, tackling problems that genuinely move the business forward. At the end of the summer, you'll present your work to our executive leadership team, department leads, and fellow interns, sharing real results with a real audience. This is a real seat at the table — and a real shot at what comes next. Position Description Fervo Energy is developing next-generation geothermal power to deliver firm, carbon-free energy at scale. Our flagship Cape Station development in Milford, Utah is one of the largest next-generation geothermal developments in the world, and our Houston headquarters houses the engineering, commercial, and corporate teams driving Fervo's growth. As an Asset Management Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in commercial asset management, sitting at the intersection of power trading, customer engagement, commercial strategy, and plant operations. You'll develop financial models and market strategies to optimize the value of our geothermal power assets in the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) market, gaining unique insight into what it takes to bring a late-stage geothermal development into commercial operations, with plenty of opportunity for cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and company leaders.

Fervo's Legal Rotational Development Program is a two-year development program for early-career attorneys looking to build a strong foundation as in-house counsel. Modeled after Fervo's successful Bedrock rotational program, participants complete two one-year rotations across different areas of the Legal team while working directly with experienced attorneys on substantive legal matters from day one.Throughout the program, participants gain broad exposure to the legal issues that support a rapidly growing energy company, including commercial contracts, construction, finance, regulatory matters, land leasing and permitting, power markets, and compliance – based on Fervo’s staffing needs and the participants background and interests. Each rotation is designed to develop practical legal judgment, strengthen business acumen, and prepare participants for long-term success as in-house counsel.Upon successful completion of the program, participants may transition into a permanent attorney role on Fervo's Legal team, with final placement determined by business needs, participant performance, and rotational experiences.

Fervo Energy is a geothermal energy company building next-generation, 24/7 carbon-free power to meet the growing demands of the grid and AI-driven electricity growth. Headquartered in Houston and publicly traded on Nasdaq (FRVO), Fervo is scaling fast, and our equity compensation program is becoming a critical, complex part of how we operate as a public company. The Stock Plan Administrator will own the end-to-end administration of Fervo's equity compensation programs, including RSU grants and vesting, the Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and 10b-5 trading plans. This person will be the operational backbone of a compliance-heavy function: processing transactions accurately and on time, maintaining the systems of record, and making sure Fervo's insider population can trade within the bounds of federal securities law and company policy. As our Employee Stock Plan is new, this role will carry a heavier pre-clearance and compliance load than a typical stock administrator seat at a company of our size. The person in this role will work closely with Legal on insider trading policy administration and Section 16 support, with Finance on equity expense, forecasting, and SEC reporting inputs, and with People Operations on employee-facing communication and education about equity awards, ESPP enrollment, and vesting mechanics.

Fervo has built the world’s first commercial-scale enhanced geothermal system and will never build a first-of-a-kind project again. Everything from here is a product, not a project. Every plant we build will be documented, engineered, and handed off through a controlled information backbone. CAD, PLM, Document Control, and Transmittal are not separate problems — they are a single ecosystem. If the standard you write today shapes every plant Fervo builds for the next decade, this is the role. The CAD Specialist is an individual contributor role with high potential for shaping future organizational structure. Single point of accountability for CAD standards, PLM implementation, drawing quality, document governance, and transmittal across Fervo’s full Powerblock portfolio.
