About the Role:
As a Forward-Deployed Engineer, you will embed with another Crusoe team, such as SRE, Finance, Sales, People Ops, or a product group. You will learn how they operate and build software that helps them take the next action, not just describe the problem. This is a forward-deployed engineering role serving internal teams. Your customer is a Crusoe team. Your product is the application, automation, or agent that makes their work faster, clearer, and more dependable. Success is measured by adoption and by the time and effort you return to the team. This is also a new function. You will be one of its first engineers and will help shape how it operates.
Several capabilities have matured recently. Modern BI tools now support write-back, so dashboards can update real records instead of only displaying them. Company data and operational context are reachable by AI agents through governed interfaces. Automation platforms and a shared library of reusable skills let you connect actions across many source systems, including CRM, support, infrastructure inventory, and the data warehouse.
Together, these capabilities allow an embedded engineer to deliver interactive tooling in days instead of quarters. We are looking for engineers who want to use that leverage to help internal teams move faster with confidence.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Embed with a stakeholder team. Participate in their rituals, observe manual workflows, and identify high-leverage work that software can remove.
- Build applications. Build interactive tools that take action: read data, apply decisions, and write results back to systems of record.
- Automate real workflows. Replace repetitive work with pipelines and agents that run independently and involve a person when judgment is required.
- Own the work end to end. Scope problems with stakeholders, then build, deploy, measure adoption, and iterate. You are accountable for outcomes, with support from partner teams.
- Contribute to the platform. Turn reusable parts of your work, such as skills, integrations, or UI patterns, into shared building blocks that accelerate future engagements.
- Keep it correct. Build on sources of truth, respect governance and access controls, and make tooling reliable enough for daily operational use.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- 8+ years building and owning production software. You write clean code, ship it, and remain accountable for it in production.
- Staff-level scope and judgment. You can take an ambiguous, greenfield charter and turn it into a plan and shipped software with limited direction. You raise technical standards and help engineers around you grow.
- Full-stack engineering skill. You can build user-facing interfaces, backend services and APIs, and the supporting data layer.
- Strong SQL and data modeling. You can navigate a data warehouse, reason about pipelines, and validate numbers before relying on them.
- Product mindset and stakeholder fluency. You collaborate well with non-engineers, translate manual processes into clear tools, and push back when a request is not the right solution.
- Fast delivery with attention to correctness. You get a useful version in front of users quickly, then harden it thoughtfully. You maintain a clear standard for completion.
- Comfort with AI-assisted development. You use LLM agents and automation platforms effectively, and understand where guardrails are required.
- Strong ownership. You measure success by whether stakeholder work becomes easier, faster, and more reliable.

Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $215,000 -$260,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

About This Role:
The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for developing, managing, and continuously improving supplier quality performance to ensure purchased components, materials, and subcontracted processes consistently meet defined quality, reliability, delivery, and regulatory requirements.
Serving as the primary Quality interface between the company, suppliers, subcontractors, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Operations, this role drives supplier qualification, New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, corrective actions, supplier performance improvement, and continuous improvement across the supply base.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Supplier Quality Management: Own quality performance for assigned suppliers and commodities. Establish and maintain supplier quality requirements, specifications, and quality agreements. Monitor performance using defined KPIs, scorecards, and metrics while identifying risks and mitigation plans. Partner with Procurement and Engineering on supplier selection, development, and exit decisions.
- Supplier Qualification & Development: Participate in supplier qualification and selection. Conduct quality assessments, process audits, capability evaluations, and evaluate manufacturing processes, quality systems, and controls. Develop targeted improvement plans to bridge capability, capacity, and maturity gaps.
- New Product Introduction (NPI): Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and suppliers during NPI. Review drawings, specifications, GD&T, CTQs, PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, MSA, SPC, and inspection plans. Drive DFM/DFA/DFR reviews, lead process validation, approve FAI/FAIR and PPAP submissions, and ensure production ramp readiness.
- Supplier Process & Product Quality: Perform process audits and manufacturing evaluations. Establish inspection and testing requirements based on product risk. Drive implementation of SPC, mistake-proofing, standardized work, and robust process controls, shifting suppliers from inspection-based quality toward prevention-focused quality.
- Nonconformance & Corrective Action: Lead supplier-related nonconformance investigations. Drive containment, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action (8D, CAPA, RCCA). Verify effectiveness of corrective actions to prevent recurrence and track issues through closure.
- Supplier Audits: Plan and execute risk-based supplier quality audits (process, product, system, special-process). Develop audit findings, oversee corrective-action plans, verify closure, and support internal, customer, and regulatory audits involving suppliers.
- Supplier Performance & Metrics: Develop and maintain quality metrics including incoming defect rates/PPM, NCR rates, FPY, CAPA closure, process capability ($C_p$/$C_{pk}$), COPQ, escape rates, and audit performance. Leverage data to identify systemic trends and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Incoming Quality & Manufacturing Support: Partner with Receiving and Incoming Inspection to establish risk-based inspection requirements, acceptance criteria, and disposition nonconforming materials. Work with Manufacturing Quality to resolve supplier-originating defects and reduce incoming inspection burdens through demonstrated supplier process capability.
- Supplier Change Management: Review and approve supplier process, material, equipment, tooling, location, and sub-tier supplier changes. Ensure appropriate qualification, validation, risk assessment, change control documentation, and traceability before implementation.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead supplier quality improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methodologies. Reduce defects, scrap, rework, and supplier-related COPQ while promoting prevention-focused quality.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Quality Engineering, or a related field, with direct experience working with manufacturing suppliers and subcontractors.
- Core Quality Tool Mastery: Strong knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies including PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, 8D/RCCA, CAPA, and process audits.
- Engineering & Drawing Literacy: Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, technical specifications, and inspection requirements.

About the Role:
The Cloud Storage team at Crusoe seeks a Software Engineer II to lead the development and execution of our storage strategy. This role will be instrumental in driving innovation and performance improvements within our cloud storage infrastructure. You will work extensively with cloud storage primitives, utilizing advanced storage engineering concepts to build and operate high-performance, scalable, and reliable storage solutions.

- Participate in Engineering Efforts: Contribute to engineering projects on cloud storage features by collaborating with product and engineering to define and execute features on the roadmap.

About This Role:
The Mechanical Quality Inspector is a quality professional responsible for safeguarding product integrity across the entire manufacturing lifecycle—spanning Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC).
Supporting both Modular Data Center (Spark) and Power Distribution Center (PDC) product lines, this role executes end-to-end inspections for mechanical and structural systems. From validating incoming raw components and structural assemblies, to performing in-process inspections and authorizing final ship release, the Quality Inspector ensures every product meets strict engineering specifications, safety codes, and customer requirements.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Incoming Quality Control (IQC): Inspect raw materials, structural steel, and sub-assemblies upon arrival against purchase orders, engineering specs, drawings, supplier CoCs (Certificate of Compliance), and supplier OQC reports to prevent non-conforming materials from entering production.
- In-Process Quality Control (IPQC): Perform designated hold-point inspections during structural fabrication and enclosure assembly. Ensure alignment and structural fit-up before downstream work continues.
- Outgoing Quality Control (OQC): Conduct comprehensive pre-shipment inspections on completed modular units including traceability & genealogy requirements. Verify final mechanical fit-and-finish, cosmetic quality requirements, printing & label accuracy, shipping bracing, weatherproofing, and loose-ship inventories prior to signing the final ship release.
- Non-Conformance & Root Cause: Identify, tag, and document non-conforming items (NCRs). Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality Leadership to execute root-cause analyses and prevent defect recurrence (CAPA).
- Traceability & Documentation: Maintain complete inspection records—including hold-point sign-offs, torque logs, photo documentation, and shipping checklists—ensuring full unit traceability.
- Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Enforce compliance with ISO 9001 standards and applicable product and building code requirements (AISC 360, ASTM, AWS D1.1, IBC). Participate in Lean/5S initiatives to streamline inspection workflows and improve product quality trends.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Education Level: High School Diploma or GED required; Technical certificate or Associate’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Technology preferred.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical quality inspection in a heavy manufacturing, panel shop, or modular integration environment (an Associate's degree substitutes for 2 years of experience).
- Blueprint & Drawing Reading: Advanced capability to interpret mechanical assembly drawings, structural steel prints, piping/HVAC diagrams, and detailed bill of materials (BOMs).
- Technical & Precision Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using precision mechanical measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, protractors, laser levels, feeler gauges, calibrated torque wrenches).

About the Role:
We are looking for a Principal Enterprise Technology Architect to own the technical vision for how our internal business systems connect, scale, and evolve. This is a newly created senior Individual Contributor role: you will be the highest-ranking technical voice in our Enterprise Technology organization, setting the architectural standard that guides our team of experienced system administrators.

This is a greenfield architecture role first. You will spend the majority of your time designing systems, producing ERDs, context diagrams, and sequence flows, before a single line of configuration is written. - 12+ years in technology leadership, with at least 5 years managing multi-function IT organizations spanning infrastructure, business systems, and engineering.
- Direct experience leading large-scale ERP implementations or transformations (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar) — including vendor selection, system design, data migration, change management, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Track record of building and scaling teams — hiring leaders, developing talent, and creating structure in a growth environment.
- Experience with or strong understanding of AI-assisted development and modern software delivery. Experience in compliance-regulated environments (SOX, SOC 2, or equivalent) without letting compliance become an obstacle to delivery.
- Proven cross-functional partnership — this role serves every business function and requires trust and the ability to translate between technical and non-technical leaders.
- Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and build-vs-buy decision-making experience.
- Executive communication skills — technology strategy, risk, and investment tradeoffs to C-suite leadership.

Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $230,000 – $285,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
