Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.
We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.
We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.
If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
About the Role:
Crusoe is looking for a Data Center Design Manager to own the optimization of our data center designs against the constraints that matter most: space, power, and cost. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and the business — you'll partner directly with Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to make sure design decisions reflect real commercial trade-offs, not just technical ideals. You'll work across mechanical, electrical, product, and structural design disciplines to push rack density and power delivery further while keeping build and operating costs in check, and you'll be the person in the room translating between design engineers and business stakeholders so every site delivers the best possible economics.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Design Optimization: lead trade-off analysis across space, power density, and cost for new data center designs, identifying opportunities to increase compute per rack and per square foot without compromising reliability
- Business Partnership: work directly with Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to translate commercial requirements — cost targets, delivery timelines, customer commitments — into concrete design specifications
- Power & Cooling Strategy: partner with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to evaluate power distribution, cooling architecture (air, liquid, immersion), and their impact on achievable rack density
- Cost Modeling: build and maintain models comparing design alternatives on total installed cost and cost per kW, per rack, and per square foot, giving leadership a clear basis for design decisions
- Standardization & Reuse: develop repeatable design standards and reference architectures that can be deployed across sites, reducing engineering rework and accelerating time to build
- Vendor & Technology Evaluation: assess new data center technologies (power delivery, cooling, rack/enclosure systems) for their potential to improve density, cost, or deployment speed
- Cross-Functional Design Reviews: run design review sessions with Engineering, Operations, and business stakeholders to validate that designs meet both technical requirements and commercial targets before they're locked
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- 7+ years of experience in data center design, engineering, or infrastructure planning, with direct exposure to power, cooling, and space optimization trade-offs
- Strong understanding of data center electrical and mechanical systems — power distribution, UPS, cooling architectures (air and liquid), and structural/floor loading considerations
- Demonstrated experience partnering with commercial or business teams to translate cost and timeline constraints into engineering decisions
- Comfort building and using cost models to compare design alternatives quantitatively, not just qualitatively
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to work fluently with both engineers and business stakeholders
- Experience with high-density compute environments (AI/ML, HPC, or GPU-dense infrastructure) strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; advanced degree a plus
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation and equity packages
- Restricted Stock Units
- Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs
- Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
- Employer contributions to HSA account
- Paid parental leave
- Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
- Professional development & tuition reimbursement
- Mental health & wellness support
- Commuter benefits (parking & transit)
- Cell phone stipend
- 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary
- Volunteer time off
- Global travel insurance & emergency assistance
- Daily meals allowance
- Additional perks & programs specific to location
Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $160,000-$195,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

About the Role:
Demand for AI compute is growing faster than any infrastructure market has before, with new buyers, new deployment models, and new competitors emerging every quarter. This role brings structure and quantitative rigor to that pace: sizing how much of that demand is real and addressable, recommending how to deploy against it, forecasting our ability to monetize it, and building the financial case behind the capital decisions that will shape the business for years to come. You'll turn a market that's moving faster than most models can track into a clear, defensible view the CFO and executive team can act on.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Size the total addressable market for AI compute: who's buying chips, who's consuming compute, and how that's trending. Assess whether industry-wide data center and power supply can actually support the demand that's out there, not just whether the demand exists on paper
- Build and maintain the long term forecast for AI compute and power capacity demand, based on market dynamics, product mix, signed contracts, and renewal/churn assumptions. Track how the customer segment mix is shifting over time and what that implies for the business
- Recommend the mix of Colo, full owned builds, and Spark modular deployments against different segments and demand profiles; feed that recommendation into capital allocation and investment decisions
- Utilize signals like demand volatility, ramp timing, and supply-chain constraints to develop our canonical pricing forecast model; track forecast accuracy over time and explain the drivers behind misses
- Build the financial case for build-ahead vs. build-to-order tradeoffs at the portfolio level
- Turn the market view, deployment recommendation, and approach to scaling into material that can go to the CFO, the Board, or other executive audiences
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- 7+ years in demand planning, supply/capacity planning, or quantitative finance, ideally in cloud infrastructure, data centers, semiconductors, or another capital-intensive, forecast-driven business
- Strong financial modeling skills and comfort building a credible view of the market without perfect data.
- Knowledge of statistical forecasting tools and techniques (e.g. time series, regression, scenario modeling)
- Experience synthesizing external market and competitive information with internal deal-level data
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, with a track record of turning numbers into narratives that influence senior decision makers
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or a related analytical field; MBA or Masters in Analytics a plus
Bonus Points
- Domain expertise in AI Infrastructure
- Experience with SQL and/or BigQuery
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation and equity packages
- Restricted Stock Units

About the Role:
Crusoe's Finance team is looking for a Senior Manager to own headcount and operating expense (OpEx) finance across the company. This role is the single source of truth for how many people we have, how many we're planning to hire, and what we're spending outside of capital projects — and it's responsible for the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and actuals reporting that keeps leadership and the business aligned on both. You'll partner with People, Recruiting, and department leaders on headcount planning, own the OpEx budget process end-to-end, and make sure monthly actuals tell an accurate, timely story against plan. This is a highly visible role for someone who wants to bring structure and rigor to how a scaling company manages its people and operating costs.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Headcount Planning & Tracking: own the headcount plan and forecast across the company, partnering with People and department leaders to track open reqs, hiring pace, and attrition against plan
- OpEx Budgeting/forecasting: lead the annual budgeting and in-year OpEx forecasting process across departments, working with budget owners to build defensible, well-documented plans
- Actuals Reporting & Variance Analysis: own monthly and quarterly actuals reporting for headcount and OpEx, identifying variances to plan and partnering with budget owners on root cause and corrective action
- Forecast Management: maintain rolling headcount and OpEx forecasts, updating for approved changes, hiring plan shifts, and in-year business decisions
- Business Partnering: serve as the go-to finance contact for department leaders on headcount and OpEx questions, helping them understand their budgets and make informed trade-offs. Partner with HR on new or changing benefit ideas to improve employee’s experience. Additionally, partner with Marketing and other leaders on OPEX budgets / plans and associated ROI
- Process & Systems Improvement: improve the tools and processes used to plan, track, and report on headcount and OpEx, reducing manual reconciliation and increasing self-serve visibility for stakeholders
- Executive & Board Reporting: prepare clear, accurate headcount and OpEx reporting packages for executive leadership and the board
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- 6+ years of progressive finance experience, including meaningful ownership of headcount and/or OpEx planning and reporting
- Strong financial modeling skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive, Workday, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to partner with People/Recruiting teams and translate hiring plans into financial impact
- Track record of owning a budgeting and actuals reporting process end-to-end, including variance analysis and stakeholder communication
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over data accuracy — headcount and OpEx numbers get scrutinized by leadership every month
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain budget and variance drivers clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA a plus
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation and equity packages
- Restricted Stock Units
- Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
About the Role:
As a Forward-Deployed Engineer, you will embed with another Crusoe team, such as SRE, Finance, Sales, People Ops, or a product group. You will learn how they operate and build software that helps them take the next action, not just describe the problem. This is a forward-deployed engineering role serving internal teams. Your customer is a Crusoe team. Your product is the application, automation, or agent that makes their work faster, clearer, and more dependable. Success is measured by adoption and by the time and effort you return to the team. This is also a new function. You will be one of its first engineers and will help shape how it operates.
Several capabilities have matured recently. Modern BI tools now support write-back, so dashboards can update real records instead of only displaying them. Company data and operational context are reachable by AI agents through governed interfaces. Automation platforms and a shared library of reusable skills let you connect actions across many source systems, including CRM, support, infrastructure inventory, and the data warehouse.
Together, these capabilities allow an embedded engineer to deliver interactive tooling in days instead of quarters. We are looking for engineers who want to use that leverage to help internal teams move faster with confidence.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Embed with a stakeholder team. Participate in their rituals, observe manual workflows, and identify high-leverage work that software can remove.
- Build applications. Build interactive tools that take action: read data, apply decisions, and write results back to systems of record.
- Automate real workflows. Replace repetitive work with pipelines and agents that run independently and involve a person when judgment is required.
- Own the work end to end. Scope problems with stakeholders, then build, deploy, measure adoption, and iterate. You are accountable for outcomes, with support from partner teams.
- Contribute to the platform. Turn reusable parts of your work, such as skills, integrations, or UI patterns, into shared building blocks that accelerate future engagements.
- Keep it correct. Build on sources of truth, respect governance and access controls, and make tooling reliable enough for daily operational use.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- 8+ years building and owning production software. You write clean code, ship it, and remain accountable for it in production.
- Staff-level scope and judgment. You can take an ambiguous, greenfield charter and turn it into a plan and shipped software with limited direction. You raise technical standards and help engineers around you grow.
- Full-stack engineering skill. You can build user-facing interfaces, backend services and APIs, and the supporting data layer.
- Strong SQL and data modeling. You can navigate a data warehouse, reason about pipelines, and validate numbers before relying on them.
- Product mindset and stakeholder fluency. You collaborate well with non-engineers, translate manual processes into clear tools, and push back when a request is not the right solution.
- Fast delivery with attention to correctness. You get a useful version in front of users quickly, then harden it thoughtfully. You maintain a clear standard for completion.
- Comfort with AI-assisted development. You use LLM agents and automation platforms effectively, and understand where guardrails are required.
- Strong ownership. You measure success by whether stakeholder work becomes easier, faster, and more reliable.
Bonus Points
- Experience as a forward-deployed, solutions, or embedded engineer.
- Prior BI or analytics engineering work with tools such as Sigma, Looker, dbt, or Tableau.
- Familiarity with automation platforms such as Workato or n8n.
- Experience building on MCP, agent frameworks, or LLM tool use.
- Comfort in an early-stage environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation and equity packages
- Restricted Stock Units
- Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs

Crusoe is looking for a Director of Construction & Data Center Operations Finance to own the financial oversight of capital projects across their entire lifecycle — from groundbreaking through energization, turnover, and ongoing data center operations. This role sits at the intersection of Construction/Development, Project Finance, Data Center Operations, and Accounting — responsible for budgeting, cost control, draw management, financeability , and financial reporting during the build phase, and then for operating cost management, performance reporting, and asset-level financial oversight once a facility goes live.
This is a highly cross-functional, execution-focused role suited to someone who can bring financial rigor across both a construction environment that moves at startup speed and a live operating environment with contractual uptime, cost, and performance commitments to customers and lenders.
What You'll Be Working On:
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Own construction budgets for assigned campuses/projects, partnering with Development, Construction Management, and Procurement to build and maintain accurate total installed cost (TIC) estimates from executive approval to live.
- Track budget-to-actual performance across hard costs, soft costs, and contingency; identify and escalate variances, cost overruns, and change orders early.
Draw Management & Financing Compliance
- Ensure construction spend and project milestones remain in compliance with loan agreements, equity funding agreements, and any project-level financing covenants.

Crusoe is the AI factory company, on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. Crusoe designs, builds, and operates vertically integrated AI infrastructure — from energy generation and land acquisition to AI-optimized data center campuses and Crusoe Cloud, its AI cloud platform. With a development pipeline exceeding tens of GWs across multiple U.S. campuses, real estate, land, and power siting decisions sit at the foundation of every project Crusoe brings to market.
What You'll Be Working On:
Crusoe is looking for a Director of Real Estate, Land & Leases Finance to own the financial due diligence, commercial structuring, and lifecycle management of land and real estate transactions underpinning Crusoe's data center campuses. This role is the finance owner for every site from initial acquisition or lease negotiation, ensuring each land or lease deal is financeable with corp dev, appropriately structured, and tracked against its underlying economics over time.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role suited to someone who can move fluidly between deal due diligence, financial modeling, negotiation support, and long-term asset tracking, in a company where land and power access are often the binding constraint on how fast infrastructure gets built.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
Due Diligence
- Lead financial due diligence on prospective land acquisitions, ground leases, and site control agreements — evaluating cost basis, tax implications, entitlement risk, and site-level economics.
- Partner with Legal, Real Estate, and Power teams to assess title, easements, zoning, utility access, and environmental factors that affect deal viability and financing.
- Build site-level financial models (acquisition cost, ground lease economics, property tax, incentive/abatement value) to support go/no-go TCO investment decisions.
- Partner with Real Estate, Legal, HR and others on our international strategy.
Commercial Structure Support
- Advise on and help negotiate land purchase agreements, ground leases, option agreements, and related real estate instruments, ensuring terms align with Crusoe's financing strategy and return requirements.
- Structure deals to optimize for financeability — working with capital markets/project finance teams on how land ownership vs. lease structures affect debt sizing, credit packages, and investor requirements.
- Support negotiation of economic development incentives, tax abatements, and PILOT (payment in lieu of taxes) agreements with local and state governments.
Lifecycle & Asset Management
- Own ongoing financial tracking of each land/real estate asset across its lifecycle — from acquisition through construction, operations, and any eventual disposition or refinancing.
- Maintain a portfolio-level view of land and lease obligations (payment schedules, escalators, renewal options, purchase options) and ensure accurate reflection in forecasts and reporting.
- Partner with Accounting on proper treatment of land, leases (ASC 842), and related capital costs.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as the finance point of contact for Real Estate, Development, Power, Legal, and Project Finance teams on all land- and lease-related matters.
- Provide financial analysis and materials for board, investor, and lender due diligence related to real estate holdings and site pipeline.
- Build scalable processes and tools as Crusoe's land portfolio grows across multiple simultaneous campus developments.
What We're Looking For:
- 8+ years of experience in real estate finance, land acquisition, project finance, or corporate development, ideally within data centers, energy, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated experience leading financial due diligence on land or real estate transactions, including modeling acquisition and lease economics.
- Working knowledge of ground leases, purchase options, easements, and real estate/economic development incentive structures (tax abatements, PILOTs).
- Understanding of how real estate/land structures interact with project financing (debt sizing, financeability, credit requirements) — ability to partner effectively with capital markets and structured finance teams.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; comfort building models from scratch under time pressure.
- Experience managing a portfolio of assets over a multi-year lifecycle, not just single-transaction execution.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and negotiation skills; able to work directly with Legal, Development, and external counterparties (landowners, utilities, municipalities).
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, JD, or equivalent a plus.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation and equity packages
- Restricted Stock Units
- Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs
- Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
- Employer contributions to HSA account
- Paid parental leave
- Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
- Professional development & tuition reimbursement
- Mental health & wellness support
- Commuter benefits (parking & transit)
- Cell phone stipend
- 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary
- Volunteer time off
- Global travel insurance & emergency assistance
- Daily meals allowance
- Additional perks & programs specific to location

About the Role:
Crusoe's Finance team is looking for a Director to serve as the embedded finance partner to our Power Production and Energy organization. Crusoe's data centers are powered by a mix of on-site generation, stranded and flared gas, and grid and renewable power purchase agreements — and this role owns the financial lens on how those power sources are sourced, priced, and delivered. You'll partner closely with Power Generation, Energy, and Data Center Operations teams to model plant and fuel economics, evaluate power purchase agreements, and make sure capital deployed into generation and energy infrastructure is delivering the returns the business needs. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who wants to bring finance discipline to the energy side of an AI infrastructure company.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Power Generation Economics: partner with the Power Production team to model levelized cost of energy (LCOE), plant utilization, and unit economics across on-site generation assets
- PPA & Offtake Evaluation: financially model and evaluate power purchase agreements, interconnection arrangements, and offtake contracts, working with Legal and Energy teams on deal structuring
- Capital Planning for Energy Infrastructure: partner on capital planning and investment cases for new generation, transmission, and energy storage projects, tracking returns against underwriting assumptions
- FP&A: associated with all power generation and energy, ensure it is reflected appropriately in close, forecast, budget and long-range planning
- Energy Market Analysis: monitor wholesale power and natural gas market trends, and translate market movements into financial impact and planning assumptions for leadership
- Cross-Functional Alignment: act as the connective tissue between Power Production, Data Center Operations, and corporate FP&A, ensuring power supply plans and compute demand forecasts stay aligned
- Regulatory & Incentive Tracking: evaluate the financial impact of energy tax credits, environmental regulations, and policy changes on generation economics and project returns
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- 8+ years of finance experience, including meaningful time supporting a power generation, energy, or utilities business
- Strong understanding of power and energy economics — LCOE, capacity factors, fuel cost pass-through, and power purchase agreement structures
- Advanced financial modeling skills, comfortable building project finance or asset-level models from scratch
- Experience evaluating capital projects and partnering with technical teams (engineering, operations) to underwrite investment decisions
- Familiarity with energy market dynamics, including wholesale power pricing and natural gas markets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical energy concepts into clear financial narratives for leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA a plus
Benefits:
