SentiLink supports a variety of ways to work, ranging from fully remote to in-office. We operate as a digital-first company with strong collaboration across the U.S. and India. We maintain physical offices in Austin, San Francisco, New York City, Seattle (Bellevue), Los Angeles, and Chicago in the U.S., and in Gurugram (Delhi) and Bengaluru in India. If you’re located near one of these offices, we would love for you to spend time in the office regularly. Some roles are hybrid or in-office by design. For example, our engineering team in India works primarily from our Gurugram office.
ROLE:
As a Quantitative Scientist at SentiLink, you will build our core products: models that identify fraudsters and also advance our growing suite of products in financial risk. This role is designed for new PhD graduates or early-career researchers interested in applying machine learning to real-world fraud detection. You'll build and ship machine learning models in a production environment, gaining hands-on experience across the full ML lifecycle, from research and development to deployment at scale. If you're looking for real-world AI and ML exposure in an industry setting, not just research papers, this is it.
We have open roles on multiple teams including:
- Emerging Products - focuses on 0-to-1 development of new offerings brought to market
- Application Fraud - analyzes the foundational elements of consumer financial applications to detect all forms of fraud
- Identity - resolves identities across massive, often conflicting data sources (both digital and physical) and generates risk models from limited information
You will be relied upon to be technically capable and the definitive owner of your respective domain. You will often work on projects with high visibility and impact that require deep domain understanding, critical thinking and strong technical abilities. You will work with teams across the company to research new types of fraud, develop new products, and provide analysis to drive sales and marketing. This is a full-stack data science role, involving model development, analysis, and writing production code. You should be interested in having end-to-end ownership and a fast-moving environment where deep domain understanding drives development and unusual insights drive our competitive advantage rather than optimization of new machine learning methodologies.
This role can be remote within the U.S., with a strong preference for candidates who can work from our Austin, San Francisco, or New York offices.
Technologies: Python 3, PostgreSQL, and AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain SentiLink’s fraud detection models through the full model development lifespan: from data acquisition decisions through featurization, focusing labeling resources, model training, experimentation, productionalization, and monitoring.
- Build foundational modeling to drive SentiLink’s expanding suite of Fraud and Financial Risk products.
- Research new types of fraud and develop new SentiLink products around identity verification.
- Achieve success by researching / developing through iteration, integration of new data sources and inventive feature engineering.
- Write production-ready code that can be relied on for real-time decision making by our partners.
- Design, perform, and present analyses that will inform data acquisition, product development, risk operations priorities, marketing, and sales efforts.
- Work with engineering, risk operations, and data acquisitions to access necessary data, maintain data quality, and support data access
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience/research
- Strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, or applied data science
- Experience with Python and common data science tools through coursework, research, internships, or personal projects
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and build data-driven solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical ideas clearly
- Interest in learning deeply about fraud, identity, and financial risk systems
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code
- Strong attention to detail and curiosity about real-world data problems
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must live in the United States
- Thrive in a fast paced environment characterized by the need to solve extremely varied, high impact, open ended problems
SALARY RANGE:
$120,000/year - $220,000/year + equity + benefits
Note: This salary range is inclusive of multiple career levels, and the actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's education, experience, skills, and qualifications.
PERKS:
- Employer paid group health insurance for you and your dependents
- 401(k) plan with employer match (or equivalent for non US-based roles)
- Flexible paid time off
- Regular company-wide in-person events
- Home office stipend, and more!
CORPORATE VALUES:
- Follow Through
- Deep Understanding
- Whatever It Takes
- Do Something Smart

About Ramp
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

You’ll also serve as a critical cross-functional partner, collaborating closely with teams across accounting, data, engineering, finance, product, treasury, and risk.
This position presents a rare opportunity for professional growth and development, regular exposure to Ramp’s leadership team, and the chance to make a true impact at a fast-paced start-up.
What You'll Do
Support the Capital Markets Team in live transactions with modeling, structuring, internal memos, lender communication, document review, and document execution
Evaluate the impact of various funding strategies under the context of Ramp’s broader corporate strategy
Engage cross-functionally on key strategic initiatives including product expansion, financial partnerships, bank partnerships, and issuing partnerships
Evaluate economic outcomes and capital implications of new products and commercial agreements
Manage the day-to-day aspects of Ramp’s warehouse facilities and ABS facilities
Own the suite of Capital Markets models
Ensure the accuracy of the Capital Markets data tapes and assist with rearchitecting them for product changes
Identify ways to automate and streamline processes to increase efficiency and scalability
What You Need
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, or related field
3+ years of experience working in a sell-side or buy-side ABS trading, securitization, asset financing-related, leveraged finance, or coverage banking (preferably FIG) role
Excellent financial modeling and quantitative data analytics skills

Staff Software Engineer, Business Data
Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
We are experts in business data, building the canonical data foundation that powers decision-making across Finance & Strategy, Business Data Science, GTM, and Marketing. We engineer scalable and efficient data pipelines and provide curated data products that give Stripe's teams a consistent, accurate, and fresh view of the business—from the top to the bottom of the funnel. We work side by side with partner teams—AI, Data Science, and Business Systems—to deliver high-quality data assets that power growth motions, product performance tracking, and go-to-market metrics reporting. We invest in data quality, data engineering automation, and operational excellence to minimize issues and maintain the trust our customers place in the products we build.
What you’ll do
We're looking for a person who could contribute to the team by solving high-impact, cutting-edge data problems. The ideal candidate will be someone that has built data pipelines for large scale volume, is deeply knowledgeable of key tools including Airflow/Spark/Kafka/Flink, is empathetic, excels at building strong relationships, and collaborates effectively with other Stripe teams to understand their use cases and unlock new capabilities.
Responsibilities
Lead the technical outcomes for a team of ambitious, talented engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure their success
Partner with our recruiting team to attract and hire top talent
Deliver cutting-edge data pipelines that scale to users' needs, focusing on reliability and efficiency
Develop strong subject matter expertise and manage the SLAs of data pipelines and full stack web applications that support critical stakeholders
Collaborate with product managers and peers across the company to create/improve canonical datasets and data warehouses, use golden paths, and ensure Stripes and customers are using trustworthy data
Leverage AI/LLM and Agents at scale to produce and analyze high-quality data on ambiguous problems
Have the opportunity to drive the execution of key data initiatives for Stripe, overseeing the entire development lifecycle from planning to delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and timely completion
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the team
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
This is a Staff-level role — that typically means 10+ years of experience building and operating data systems, pipelines, warehouses, infrastructure, and leading teams to deliver exceptional solutions
A strong engineering background and passion for data as well as prior experience with writing and debugging data pipelines using a distributed data framework
An inquisitive nature in diving into data inconsistencies to pinpoint issues, and resolve deep rooted data quality issues
Knowledge of a backend development language (such as Scala, Java, or Go) and strong SQL experience
Extreme customer focus, with a commitment to partnering with product, leaders across the business, and other Stripe engineers to understand their use cases
Effective cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to think rigorously, communicate clearly, and make or coordinate difficult decisions and trade-offs
Thrive with high autonomy and responsibility in an ambiguous environment
Ability to foster and work in a healthy, inclusive, challenging, and supportive work environment
Preferred qualifications
Our stack is made up of Iceberg, Kafka, Change Data Capture, Flink, Spark, Airflow, Hive Metastore, Pinot, Trino, and AWS Cloud - experience with all or some of these tools is a huge plus
Influencing open-source contributions
Experience creating and maintaining data marts / warehouses to power business reporting needs
Experience collaborating with Product, Go-To-Market, or Sales / Marketing teams
Genuine enjoyment of innovation and a deep interest in understanding how things work, with the ability to question and direct architectural decisions
Strong written and verbal communication skills for various audiences, including leadership, users, and company-wide
Hybrid work at Stripe
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).
In-office expectations
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.
Working remotely at Stripe
A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live.
Pay and benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $203,600 - $305,400. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
We look forward to hearing from you.
At Stripe, we're looking for people with passion, grit, and integrity. You're encouraged to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. Your skills and passion will stand out—and set you apart—especially if your career has taken some extraordinary twists and turns. At Stripe, we welcome diverse perspectives and people who think rigorously and aren't afraid to challenge assumptions. Join us.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
You will help build and scale the operating systems that make it easier for customers to get set up on Ramp and reach a simple, self-serve spend experience. You will own the loop that turns customer signals into root causes, prioritized fixes, proactive CX communication, and measurable reductions in customer friction.
This role spans a critical setup-to-spend journey. Identity owns much of how a business gets started on Ramp, including login, invites, HRIS / SCIM provisioning, and multi-entity setup. A business should ideally then self-serve into an intuitive, agentic spend experience across policies, cards, and first successful spend. You will help identify and Onboarding product and engineering teams solve issues across that full journey, preventing customer problems from falling between teams.
Beyond your product areas, you will also contribute to Product Operations process improvement and product building that allows Product and Engineering teams to scale. You will use AI tools to improve release management, analyze customer feedback, enable internal teams, and directly ship improvements where possible.
Our main goal is to reduce customer friction, measured by support tickets per active user, onboarding and setup success, time to first successful spend, customer NPS, and the speed from customer signal to shipped improvement.
What You'll Do
Provide holistic Product Operations support for the product onboarding experience across program management, customer testing, launch readiness, change management, and iteration
Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, CX, Sales, CSM, and Operations to translate customer feedback into crisp requirements, operating plans, and shipped improvements
Identify setup and onboarding issues that cut across login, invites, provisioning, multi-entity setup, policies, cards, and first spend
Build scalable operating cadences that improve cross-team alignment, release readiness, customer communication, and accountability
Use AI to automate processes, improve analysis, and directly ship product or workflow improvements that reduce customer friction
What You Need
3+ years in product operations, product management, program management, consulting, customer success, account management, or a customer-facing analytical role supporting B2B SaaS
Experience using data to size opportunities, diagnose root causes, analyze support trends, and measure whether product or operational fixes reduce customer friction
Strong customer judgment and ability to understand onboarding, setup, access, identity, or spend-management friction from both customer and internal-team perspectives
Ability to translate qualitative feedback and messy cross-functional input into crisp requirements, prioritized action plans, and durable operating processes
Comfort working in ambiguous, technically complex areas and driving clarity across Product, Engineering, CX, Sales, CSM, Data, and Operations
Strong problem solving, prioritization, and communication skills; bias to ship improvements quickly and measure impact
Experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis, workflow automation, enablement, or direct product / process improvements
Benefits available to all full-time Ramp employees (Global)
