ABOUT THE ROLE We're hiring a Lead Operations Program Manager, Product to partner closely with product leadership to transform how we plan, build and operate as a product organization - with AI at the center of our work. Reporting to a Senior Director of Product, you'll help us design from first principles how the Product organization plans, prioritizes, and executes as we adopt AI-enabled workflows, evolve our planning approach, and introduce new ways of working. Supporting both PM and Design, you'll lead strategic initiatives, establish scalable operating rhythms, and strengthen collaboration across all functions in product development (Engineering, Product, Analytics, and Design). WHAT YOU’LL DO - Lead annual and ongoing continuous planning for the Product organization, using deep knowledge of company operations and business performance to influence operating rhythms for strategic alignment. - Design how the Product org operates — leadership forums, decision-making processes, and cross-functional operating rhythms — in ways that scale across teams and shape the function's direction. - Lead large, strategic programs spanning Product, Engineering, Design, and Analytics, driving alignment across teams and resolving high-level issues with minimal guidance. - Set the strategy and processes behind key Product operations programs (e.g., onboarding, communications, team rituals), ensuring they scale with the org and reflect how Product wants to operate. - Lead large-scale change management programs, influencing cross-functional teams to adopt new planning strategies, systems, or processes. - Drive strategic discussions with senior leaders, proactively navigating stakeholder dynamics and aligning diverse perspectives to ensure buy-in. - Take ownership of ambiguous, cross-functional problems, using structured problem-solving and systems thinking to develop comprehensive, long-term solutions. IN ORDER TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU MUST BRING - 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or program management within high-growth technology companies or similarly fast-paced environments. - Deep experience partnering with Product and/or Design organizations, with expert-level fluency in how modern product teams plan, prioritize, and deliver work. - A track record of leading large, strategic programs and cross-functional initiatives — influencing senior leaders and aligning teams around shared goals without formal authority. - Experience building scalable processes and planning systems that improve organizational decision-making and execution. - Proven ability to create structure and clarity out of ambiguity — using structured problem-solving and systems thinking to design comprehensive, long-term solutions and help organizations navigate change. - Experience with modern planning approaches and tools (e.g., Continuous Planning, Linear, or similar platforms) that support how product organizations plan and operate. - Experience in consumer marketplaces, SMB platforms, or technology-enabled services is preferred. EXPECTED SALARY RANGES - For candidates living in San Francisco / Bay Area, San Jose, New York City, or Seattle metros, the expected salary range for the role is currently $212,400.00 - $259,600.00. - For candidates living in Austin, TX or Washington DC metros or in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Washington states, the expected salary range for the role is currently $190,800.00 - $233,200.00. - For candidates living in all other US locations, the expected salary range for this role is currently $180,900.00 - $221,100.00. Actual offered salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as calibrated job level, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Thumbtack embraces diversity. About Neko Health Neko Health is on a mission to make proactive healthcare accessible to everyone. We operate a network of outpatient health scanning clinics, combining advanced technology with clinical expertise to give members a clear picture of their health, before problems arise. We are scaling fast across multiple geographies, and quality is at the heart of everything we build. The Role Neko's clinic QA infrastructure is in active development, and this role is central to shaping what it becomes. As QA Program Manager, you will design, build, and run the quality assurance framework for Neko's outpatient clinic network: defining what quality looks like in our setting, building the data and reporting infrastructure to track it, and driving cross-functional improvement initiatives that keep patient safety and member experience at the centre. This is a build role. You will be designing the standard, not auditing against an existing one. You will work closely with clinical leads, operations managers, and engineering teams, and report directly to the Global Medical Quality Lead. What You'll Deliver in the First 6-12 Months • Map the current state of clinical QA processes across Neko's outpatient clinics, identify gaps against applicable standards, and produce a prioritised remediation roadmap approved by the Global Medical Quality Lead. • Design and embed a scalable QA program framework suited to Neko's outpatient, preventive health model: audit cadence, data review cycles, and clear accountability for quality metrics at clinic level. • Build and operationalise a quality data review process: define the key indicators, establish data collection from existing systems, and deliver a recurring dashboard that enables clinical and operational leadership to act on trends. • Lead at least two cross-functional QA improvement initiatives, working across clinical, operations, and technology teams, with measurable improvement against a defined baseline. • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, audit tools, and training materials, that are accurate, accessible, and actively used by clinic teams. Minimum qualifications: • 5-10 years of experience in quality assurance, program management, or a closely adjacent function, with at least 3 years in a healthcare or regulated clinical setting. • Proven experience in outpatient, primary care, or ambulatory care quality: you have designed and run QA programs where the framework did not already exist, not just audited against one that did. • Track record of building quality data review processes: defining metrics, working with operational data, and turning trends into actionable improvements. • Strong program management capability: structured thinking, cross-functional stakeholder management, and the ability to drive initiatives to completion across clinical and non-clinical teams. • AI fluency: you are comfortable using data tools and AI-assisted analysis to improve quality review, and you apply sound judgment on where human oversight is non-negotiable. Preferred qualifications: • Experience in medical device quality or a regulated environment (ISO 13485, EU MDR, or equivalent), which brings familiarity with documented quality management systems. • Background in population health, patient safety, or insurance or managed care quality programs, providing cross-sector signal on outcome measurement. • Experience in a scaling health technology company where quality infrastructure was being built rather than maintained.
