Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.
We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.
We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.
If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
About the Role:
Crusoe’s IT, Security & Compliance team is looking for an Agile Scrum Master to bring delivery discipline to our security and compliance workstreams. You’ll facilitate Agile ceremonies, run sprint execution in Jira, and maintain team documentation in Confluence, all while partnering closely with the IT & Security Programs Office to keep initiatives like audits, risk remediation, control implementation, and tooling rollouts moving predictably and transparently. This role sits at the intersection of Agile delivery and a highly regulated, deadline-driven domain, where clear tracking, cross-team coordination, and audit-ready documentation matter as much as team velocity.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, for one or more IT, Security & Compliance teams.
- Own Jira boards, backlogs, epics, and sprints, keeping security and compliance workstreams accurately tracked and prioritized.
- Maintain team documentation in Confluence, including working agreements, sprint notes, and audit-ready process evidence.
- Partner with the IT & Security Programs Office to align sprint delivery with program timelines, milestones, and portfolio reporting.
- Identify, escalate, and remove impediments affecting team throughput.
- Coach teams on Agile and Scrum principles, driving continuous improvement in delivery practices and team maturity.
- Track and report sprint metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, throughput) to leadership and the PMO.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies and support backlog grooming in partnership with team leads and product managers.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator, ideally within IT, Security, or Compliance environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Jira (board configuration, workflows, dashboards, reporting), Confluence, and Rovo.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks and ceremonies, with the judgment to adapt them to a compliance-driven context.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, working effectively with engineers, security and compliance leads, and program managers.
- Experience partnering with Technical Project or Program Managers or similar cross-functional delivery functions.
- Comfort tracking and communicating delivery metrics and risks to both team-level and leadership audiences.
Bonus Points
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.
- Experience supporting security or compliance domains (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, audit cycles, risk management).
- Familiarity with IT service management or GRC tooling.
- Exposure to scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) in a multi-team or program-level environment.
- Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP): Designed for administrators, system architects, and power users. These exams focus on advanced cloud or data center configuration, user lifecycles, and backend system
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation and equity packages
- Restricted Stock Units
- Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs
- Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
- Employer contributions to HSA account
- Paid parental leave
- Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
- Professional development & tuition reimbursement
- Mental health & wellness support
- Commuter benefits (parking & transit)
- Cell phone stipend
- 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary
- Volunteer time off
- Global travel insurance & emergency assistance
- Daily meals allowance
- Additional perks & programs specific to location

- Construction Strategy Mastery: Deep technical understanding of construction processes, materials, methods, and the nuances of the mission-critical build lifecycle.
- Advanced Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams simultaneously without losing focus on detail.
- Negotiation & Influence: Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of building trust and driving results with C-suite executives, local officials, and technical trades.
- Analytical Precision: A highly analytical mindset focused on accuracy in budgeting, forecasting, and feasibility reporting.
- Software Proficiency: Expert-level command of construction management software, scheduling tools (P6/MS Project), and digital collaboration platforms.
