About the Team
The PR Manager will join the Outreach Marketing team, a team of communicators, creators, writers, demand gen pros, and product experts who push each other to do the best work of our careers while having each other's backs. We're proud to be the market leader, and we bring a little swagger to how we show up. The marketing team is remote-first, with teammates spread across the world. We work hard, hold a high bar for our craft, and act as trusted advisors across the org.
The Role
Outreach is seeking an experienced, full-time Public Relations Manager to help lead how we communicate our corporate narrative, product innovations, and market leadership. You'll research, write, and edit press releases, bylines, speeches, internal communications, and other strategic content, while owning key pieces of our PR strategy from concept to execution.
This role is built for someone focused on the media landscape: hungry to land the big story, skilled at building and maintaining relationships with reporters, driven to win major awards, and full of ideas for creative campaigns and events that raise Outreach's profile. You'll bring both strong individual craft and the experience to help shape and execute our broader PR strategy. This is a high-visibility role that partners with every department at Outreach, so expect to work with a wide range of people and stakeholders.
This role reports to the Director of Communications.
At Outreach, we're building AI into how we work, and communication is no exception. As Flock scales public safety partnerships across local municipalities, navigating regional policy environments requires dedicated public affairs leadership. Advancing our policy objectives and supporting local agency leaders demands proactive engagement with mayors, city council members, and community organizations. You will represent Flock across local government forums, build cross-sector coalitions, and elevate customer impact stories to strengthen public trust.
What You'll Own
Lead engagement with local executive leaders, city council members, and grassroots community organizations to advance regional public policy objectives.
Represent Flock at city council meetings, public hearings, and community forums, delivering testimony and formal presentations.
Build and sustain regional coalitions with influential community groups and third-party partners to support public safety policy initiatives.
Collaborate with internal sales and communications teams to align public affairs strategies with regional growth goals and customer enablement.
Establish structured communication rhythms with external regional stakeholders to maintain consistent dialogue on public safety outcomes.
What This Role is Not
This isn't an internal communications or PR writing role, you will spend your time in the field engaging external political and community stakeholders directly.
This is not a purely reactive policy function, you will proactively build third-party coalitions and establish long-term relationships before municipal debates arise.
This isn't a rigid desk job, you will adapt to dynamic regional travel schedules and evening city council meeting timelines.
What You Bring
Direct experience engaging local executive officials, city managers, or council members within government, campaign, or public advocacy roles.
Demonstrated capability to articulate complex public policy and technology concepts clearly across formal testimony, presentations, and community discussions.
Sophisticated understanding of regional municipal politics, city council dynamics, and bipartisan coalition building.
Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with influential community organizations and grassroots stakeholders.
Experience in public policy, business, or related professional environments.
Compensation
In this role, you'll receive a starting salary between $130,000 and $170,000 as well as Flock Stock Options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in depth with you during our first chat.

🌟 the impossible takes every kind of mind. Flock is an equal opportunity employer, and we know the best solutions come from diverse perspectives, experiences, and skills working together with mutual respect. Everyone is welcome to apply. If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, email ; your information stays confidential and is used only to arrange the right accommodation for your interviews.

The range in this posting covers base salary only and doesn't include equity, sales bonus plans where applicable, or benefits. We Breathe Life Into Data
At Komodo Health, our mission is to reduce the global burden of disease. And we believe that smarter use of data is essential to this mission. That’s why we built the Healthcare Map — the industry’s largest, most complete, precise view of the U.S. healthcare system — by combining de-identified, real-world patient data with innovative algorithms and decades of clinical experience. The Healthcare Map serves as our foundation for a powerful suite of software applications, helping us answer healthcare’s most complex questions for our partners. Across the healthcare ecosystem, we’re helping our clients unlock critical insights to track detailed patient behaviors and treatment patterns, identify gaps in care, address unmet patient needs, and reduce the global burden of disease.
As we pursue these goals, it remains essential to us that we stay grounded in our values: be awesome, seek growth, deliver “wow,” and enjoy the ride. At Komodo, you will be joining a team of ambitious, supportive Dragons with diverse backgrounds but a shared passion to deliver on our mission to reduce the burden of disease — and enjoy the journey along the way.
THE OPPORTUNITY AT KOMODO HEALTH
We're looking for a Customer Advocacy & Communications Manager to turn customer wins into the proof points that move healthcare forward. Marketing at Komodo connects the real-world impact of our data to the people who need to hear about it. Customer Advocacy sits at the center of that work, turning strong customer outcomes into stories that build credibility across healthcare and life sciences. This hire makes sure every advocacy moment, from a reference call to a stage at a conference, ties directly back to our mission to reduce the burden of disease.
MISSION
This role exists because customer proof points do not surface themselves. Someone has to build the relationships, spot the right stories, and connect Sales, Customer Success, Communications, and Executive Leadership around them. Without this role, strong customer outcomes stay buried in individual accounts instead of strengthening the brand.
OUTCOMES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have accomplished:
Built a pipeline of active customer advocates spanning strategic accounts and market segments
Launched a repeatable process for customer recruitment, approvals, and participation tracking
Partnered with Sales and Customer Success to convert at least a handful of account wins into references, case studies, or speaking opportunities
Established a communication cadence that keeps internal teams aware of available advocates and story opportunities
Delivered award submissions and/or conference nominations built on customer outcomes
Worked across Marketing to promote the customer stories in social media, on the website, and in sales content.
These are the essential job duties you will be responsible for:
Build and maintain relationships with customers to identify and cultivate long-term advocacy opportunities
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Account teams to surface customers with strong business outcomes
Manage customer participation across references, case studies, advisory boards, speaking engagements, and media interviews
Equip internal teams with playbooks, newsletters, and updates on available advocates and reference opportunities
Coordinate with Corporate Communications and Brand to amplify customer stories through social and thought leadership and the website
Draft and submit customer award nominations and conference speaking proposals
Track advocacy activity, customer participation, and program performance across the business
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS
What you bring to Komodo Health (required):
3+ years in customer advocacy, communications, customer marketing, or public relations
A get-it-done attitude and willingness to pitch in where help is needed.
Experience in healthcare, life sciences, health technology, or another regulated industry
A track record of building relationships with customers that convert into concrete advocacy outcomes
Strong writing and communication skills, shown through work like case studies, award submissions, or executive talking points
Project management skills strong enough to run several advocacy initiatives in parallel without losing momentum
Comfort working across Sales, Marketing, Communications, and Executive Leadership without formal authority over any of them
Experience managing a formal advocacy or reference program from the ground up
Expectations of AI use in this role:
Uses AI tools to draft first passes of case studies, award submissions, and reference materials from raw customer input, then refines for voice and accuracy
Uses AI to synthesize account notes and CRM data into shortlists of advocacy-ready customers
Actively looks for ways AI can cut manual work out of the advocacy process, from tracking participation to drafting internal updates, and brings those ideas back to the team rather than waiting to be asked
Additional skills and experience we'd prioritize (nice to have):
Experience supporting organic social strategy or executive storytelling
Familiarity with Salesforce and marketing or advocacy technology
Working knowledge of the healthcare or life sciences ecosystem

About Bastion
Bastion provides the regulated infrastructure businesses need to hold, move, and issue stablecoins. Our platform combines custodial wallets, global payment orchestration, and stablecoin issuance. Customers can use each product independently or connect them into a single end-to-end flow.
We operate through our own regulated entities, with compliance and risk controls built directly into the platform. We can also support customers operating under their own licenses with the compliance and financial operations required to run their programs.
Overview
We are hiring a Brand and Communications Lead to make Bastion known to every institution that should be building with us.
Bastion already has the substance: proven product-market fit, marquee enterprise customers, a regulated trust charter, and infrastructure major institutions rely on. What we need now is a market presence that matches the strength of the business.
You will own how Bastion is positioned and shows up in the world, from messaging and visual identity to press, executive visibility, industry relationships, and targeted campaigns. Your work should build trust, bring the right customers to Bastion, and shape how the market thinks about the future of financial infrastructure.
You will work directly with the CEO on building Bastion’s image, voice, and presence in the market.
Fintech or financial services experience is a strong advantage. This market rewards credibility, precision, and a real understanding of how institutions make decisions.
This role is ideally based in New York City, with a flexible hybrid setup.
Work to Be Done
Instead of a long list of requirements, here is what success should look like in your first 60 days.
We move quickly. You should be contributing in your first week, showing clear impact within 30 days, and operating independently by day 60. By then, it should be clear to both sides that this is the right fit.
First 15 days: Learn the business and start shipping
Learn Bastion’s product, customers, regulatory position, and competitive landscape
Understand how buyers find us, what matters in sales conversations, and where our story is weak
Audit our website, content, press, events, and overall market presence
Ship impactful work in your first week
By 30 days: Set the direction and build momentum
Define the target audiences, messaging, and channels to prioritize
Develop a scalable content and communications production workflow leveraging AI tooling and contractors to operate at high velocity
Improve how Bastion shows up across social media, website, and other prioritized channels
Build an active pipeline of press, events, and speaking opportunities
Align with Product, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure a steady stream of high signal communications from Bastion to the market
Launch the first targeted campaigns for the businesses we want to work with
Start tracking performance of brand & comms work via inbound qualified leads and pipeline influence
By 60 days: Market sees Bastion
Own Bastion’s positioning, voice, and external communications calendar
Establish a steady cadence of high-signal company news, content, executive communications, and market commentary
Secure initial press coverage, speaking opportunities, or other credible third-party visibility, with a strong pipeline behind it
Have targeted campaigns live and reaching the right businesses and decision-makers
Build a direct feedback loop with the Commercial team so our messaging reflects what moves buyers and we can see where the work is influencing customer conversations and pipeline
Know what is working, what is not, and where to focus next
Operate independently, make good judgment calls, and maintain a high quality bar without slowing down
As a result of your work, we see a fast growing amount of qualified inbound leads and positively influenced qualified leads on the rest of the pipeline
Hard challenges you will tackle
Building brand awareness from scratch. There’s no existing playbook, press list, or event history to build from. You will be building the function while running it, making decisions with imperfect information, testing quickly, and iterating toward what works.
Creating a market presence breakthrough. Incremental progress will not be enough. Bastion needs to go from being known mainly within our existing network to being recognized by the institutions, partners, reporters, and talent that matter. You will need to find the campaigns, moments, and relationships that can make that happen.
Earning press in a space that's noisy and focuses on already known household names. Most coverage goes to the biggest companies and the loudest stories. You will need to find genuinely newsworthy angles in Bastion’s work, build real relationships with reporters, and earn attention without relying on existing hype.
Buyers of Bastion are diverse. Bastion’s customers include Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, fintechs, and stablecoin-native payments companies. They do not speak the same language or make decisions the same way. You need to adapt the message to each audience without creating a different company story for each one.
Operating as a team of one, with the impact of a team of 5. We expect you to leverage AI tooling and contractors for your work using your best judgement to maintain a high quality bar, in a space that’s very sensitive to AI slop. Your ultimate metric of success is influenced pipeline and inbound qualified leads.
Bastion provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, and placement. Bastion participates in E-Verify to authorize eligibility of employment in the United States.
