ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring the first Technical Program Manager to join a newly formed Technical Program Management function, reporting to the Head of TPM. This is a founding role, you’ll help design and build how strategic, cross-functional work gets delivered across a global organization. TPMs at Supabase own the connective tissue between teams and between functions, managing the dependencies of our largest programs, and author and maintain/improve the standard of using Linear. This role is a strong fit for someone who has a genuine curiosity about ambiguous, complex problems, is self-directed and has conviction in their craft.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Parter with Engineering, Product, Design (EPD) and other stakeholder to structure and drive complex, cross-team initiatives; clarifying scope and value, securing commitment across a distributed organization, setting timelines, and leading activities from design through launch.
- Design systems by building the tracking, reporting, and escalation mechanisms that surface risk and progress.
- Build process to ensure launch readiness is predictable, consistent and coordinated across all cross-functional participants.
- Ask the questions that clarify priority and scope, giving async teams the context to keep building and unblocking.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and maintain transparency into program goals, commitments, risk and delivery quality, primarily through clear written communication.
- Identify bottlenecks before they become blockers, develop options to resolve them, and clearly communicate the trade-offs that each option carries.
- Map dependencies and relationships across projects and teams, coordinating delivery across groups that don’t share reporting lines.
- Keep Engineering, Product, and Design accountable for their own delivery outcomes while you track, surface risk, and unblock.
- Develop technical and domain fluency to be an active and credible member of the delivery team and triad.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Have 7+ years of experience in technical program management for software, SaaS or systems development environments
- A track record of leading large-scale, cross-team software delivery programs to successful completion.
- Comfort operating in a fully remote, async-first environment
- The ability to communicate clearly and quickly build credibility with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- The ability to influence and drive outcomes through others where no direct reporting relationship exists.
- Strong attention to detail and a bias toward execution, grounded in data rather than opinion
- Have strong technical fluency to self-identify risk in a plan and hold your own with senior engineers on architecture and dependencies.
- Experience with Linear, Jira, or equivalent tooling at scale.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits
Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us.
- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love.
- ~400 team members
- 60+ countries
- 20+ languages spoken
- Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F)
- 540,000+ community members
We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.

Staff Forward Deployed Engineer
ManchesterEngineering – Software Development /Full Time /Remote
APPLY FOR THIS JOB
Are you ready to shape the future of data?
Matillion is the company behind Maia, the AI Data Automation platform.
In the AI economy, demand for data is exploding. Manual data engineering can’t keep up. Maia fixes that by combining 15 years of data expertise with agentic AI to eliminate the manual work that slows data teams down. Organisations like Cisco, DocuSign, and Slack are already using it to deliver real business impact, faster.
We started in Manchester and now we’re global - with teams across the UK, US and India.
We are driven, curious, energetic people who move fast, think big and hold ourselves to a high standard. We’re here to make a dent in the universe bigger than ourselves. And we’re looking for people who want to be part of it.
The Staff Forward Deployed Engineer is the senior operator we put on our most significant and complex Maia rollouts and expansions. Working primarily remotely with our distributed teams and on-site when it counts, they own these engagements end to end, architecting and building production-grade solutions, modifying Matillion’s own product code where the platform needs it, and holding the highest engineering bar under real delivery pressure.
A true force multiplier, they work at every level and across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success: earning technical wins, acting as a hands-on escalation point to Customer Success, and driving adoption and expansion in their accounts. They ship quickly and to standard in a low-friction way, turn their work into reusable assets and product feedback, and mentor the FDEs coming up behind them.
What you will be doing:
Owning end-to-end customer engagements by running discovery, architecting multi-cloud deployments, writing production-grade code, and guiding projects through to production cut-over.
Building complex data pipelines, models, and integrations across cloud data platforms to ensure customers achieve the core outcomes they adopted Maia for.
Modifying Matillion’s underlying codebase directly when native platform features are missing, adhering to strict engineering, security, and quality standards.
Delivering fast, pragmatic MVPs by diagnosing real underlying customer problems, questioning initial requirements, and shrinking scope to accelerate platform adoption.
Cultivating executive trust and serving as a cross-functional catalyst across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to resolve complex escalations at the first point of contact.
Enabling total customer self-sufficiency by training internal champions and creating clear handover documentation for Customer Success and Support teams upon project exit.
Securing technical wins during pre-sales cycles through technical discovery, proof-of-concept deliveries, objection handling, and joint strategy work with Account Executives.
Influencing product evolution by identifying repeating delivery patterns, submitting structured product feedback, and building reusable implementation frameworks that minimize future custom work.
Working agentic-first by integrating AI tools across the entire delivery lifecycle while setting clear quality validation standards for AI-generated outputs.
Elevating team performance by mentoring junior engineers, shaping hiring standards, refining delivery processes, and continuously updating expertise in emerging AI and cloud tech.
What we are looking for:
5+ years of experience in production-grade software development and data integration, featuring expert Python, SQL, and object-oriented skills (Java/Go) for designing reusable architectures and refactoring complex codebases.
Deep knowledge of distributed systems, data architecture, CI/CD, Kubernetes, secure enterprise networking, and at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Hands-on expertise in scalable data pipelines and cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery, alongside familiarity with the broader Matillion product estate.
Disciplined use of AI tools across the delivery process with the ability to validate output, supported by optional experience in production LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
Proven background in customer-facing technical delivery, spanning pre-sales technical discovery, hands-on implementation, and escalation management.
Excellent communication skills to connect with both C-suite executives and technical developers during complex debugging sessions.
Strong engineering judgment and systems thinking to make sound architectural trade-offs between speed, scalability, and maintainability under ambiguity.
Execution bias and high autonomy to deliver working production systems independently in high-pressure environments.
Deep customer empathy and rapport-building capabilities that establish long-term trust with technical teams and executive stakeholders.
Founder mentality and a multiplier mindset to take full ownership of outcomes while elevating the performance of surrounding team members.
At Matillion, we are committed to providing compensation in line with market standards based on the role, job family, job level and country. This role's estimated annual salaried pay range for this position is £84,160 - £126,240. The final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.

About Supabase
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
About the Role
Supabase's Partnerships function spans several sub-functions — Integration Partners, Solution Partners, Cloud, Marketplace, and Startups — each of which owns a global strategy for their area. We're looking for a Partner Development Manager, EMEA to give those strategies a real presence in the region.
This is a generalist, region-first role covering all partner types. Rather than owning a single function end-to-end, you'll work across all of them — combining new partner development with the activation of partnerships that already exist globally, wherever the region needs it most.
You'll join an established global partnerships team, working day-to-day with our function leads and EMEA colleagues and reporting to the Head of Partnerships. You are the connection point between global partner strategy and the commercial, regulatory, and market realities of EMEA.
Much of the work happens in person — building senior partner relationships, being present in the market, and capitalising on co-selling and co-marketing opportunities across the region. As regional partner volume grows, we expect the role to evolve and eventually specialise; you'll help shape what that looks like.
What You'll Own
Regional Partner Development
Identify, prioritise, and close new partners across Integration, Solution, Cloud, Marketplace, and Startup motions where EMEA coverage does not yet exist — including smaller regional solution partners and resellers where they open up the market.
Build and maintain a regional pipeline of prospective partners across all functions.
Partner Activation & Enablement
Localise and activate globally-sourced partnerships for the EMEA market, including regional enablement, co-selling, co-marketing, and commercial terms where needed.
Ensure existing partner programs and benefits translate correctly to EMEA customers, partners, and startups.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work alongside each sub-function lead to translate global strategy into regional execution.
Flag where global partnership strategy does not fit EMEA market conditions, and adapt it together with function leads.
Represent Supabase at EMEA partner and developer events, and build relationships with regional partner organisations.
What We're Looking For
5–10 years in partnerships, business development, or channel roles, with direct experience onboarding and running partnerships within EMEA specifically.
Demonstrated ability to operate across multiple partner motions — technology integrations, solution/SI, and startup ecosystem — without a single specialist playbook to rely on.
Experience building a regional function within a company that was previously concentrated in another region.
Strong commercial judgement across varied partner types and counterparties.
Comfortable operating independently across a significant timezone gap from the core team, with clear judgement on what requires synchronous alignment.
Background in developer tools, databases, or infrastructure software.
An established, senior-level network of partner connections in EMEA — across technology vendors, systems integrators, and/or the startup ecosystem — that can be activated quickly, with the credibility to engage senior counterparts from day one.
Fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication — including the ability to make a clear case when regional realities diverge from global strategy.
Nice to Have
Established relationships within AWS's EMEA partner organisation (strongly preferred), or GCP/Azure equivalents.
A second language relevant to the region (e.g. French, German, Spanish, Arabic).

Apollo.io is the leading go-to-market solution for revenue teams, trusted by over 500,000 companies and millions of users globally, from rapidly growing startups to some of the world's largest enterprises. Founded in 2015, the company is one of the fastest growing companies in SaaS, raising approximately $250 million to date and valued at $1.6 billion. Apollo.io provides sales and marketing teams with easy access to verified contact data for over 210 million B2B contacts and 35 million companies worldwide, along with tools to engage and convert these contacts in one unified platform. By helping revenue professionals find the most accurate contact information and automating the outreach process, Apollo.io turns prospects into customers. Apollo raised a series D in 2023 and is backed by top-tier investors, including Sequoia Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, and more, and counts the former President and COO of Hubspot, JD Sherman, among its board members.
Apollo is building the definitive open GTM platform, and we're building the ecosystem to match. We're hiring our first dedicated partnerships hire in EMEA — someone to own the regional strategy, build the agency ecosystem from the ground up, advance our existing technology alliances across the region, and explore where reseller partnerships make sense country by country. This is not a role for someone who runs playbooks handed to them from HQ. The job is to write the EMEA playbook, execute it, and help us understand where the global strategy needs to bend to fit regional realities.
You will work in close alignment with Apollo's Head of EMEA Sales and operate as an equal partner in shaping how partnerships fits into the regional go-to-market. Equal parts builder, operator, and strategist — you'll need to move between long-range thinking and hands-on execution without losing altitude.
What you'll do:
1. Own Apollo's EMEA Partnerships Strategy
Develop and own the EMEA partnerships strategy, including where it diverges from US or global priorities based on market dynamics, buyer behavior, and the regional competitive landscape
Serve as the primary voice of the EMEA ecosystem internally, advising cross-functional stakeholders on where the global strategy fits, where it doesn't, and what needs to be built locally
Partner closely with Apollo's Head of EMEA Sales to ensure the partnerships strategy ladders to regional revenue goals and is genuinely integrated into how the EMEA team goes to market
Track and report on partner-influenced pipeline and revenue across the region; use that data to prioritize where to invest time and push for executive decisions
2. Build the EMEA Agency Ecosystem
Build Apollo's agency partner program in EMEA from scratch — identifying, recruiting, and onboarding high-potential GTM, RevOps, and AI-native agencies across key markets
Enable agency partners to build differentiated practices around Apollo, with a focus on helping them generate real revenue from the relationship through services delivery, customer co-sell, and Apollo's demand-routing programs
Develop the enablement, capability verification, and matchmaking infrastructure needed to put agencies in front of the right Apollo customers — with the goal of driving retention and expansion in the installed base, not just new-logo sourcing
Work with the global agency team to translate and adapt the GTME certification program and playbooks for the EMEA context
3. Advance Strategic Technology Alliances Regionally
Own the regional execution of Apollo's CRM and technology partner relationships (Salesforce, HubSpot, and others) — working with global alliance owners to unlock co-sell motion in EMEA and connect Apollo's field reps with counterpart partner reps in the region
Identify integration and co-sell opportunities that improve Apollo's ability to compete and win in EMEA mid-market and enterprise accounts
Explore and evaluate where net-new strategic alliances make sense for EMEA distribution, building business cases for investment when the opportunity is real
4. Explore and Develop Reseller Partnerships
Assess where reseller partnerships make commercial sense in specific EMEA markets, particularly in countries where direct coverage is thin or where local distribution partners can accelerate Apollo's reach
Define the commercial model, partner criteria, and enablement requirements for any reseller motion; build the first partnerships if there's a clear path, and bring in the right internal stakeholders to support it
Be honest about where reseller adds leverage and where it adds complexity — this is a charter to explore, not an assumption that it's the right model everywhere
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years in technology partnerships, alliances, or channel roles with significant EMEA market experience
Demonstrated experience building a partner program or regional partnerships function from an early stage, not just managing an inherited book
Comfortable working across multiple partner types: agency/SI relationships, technology alliances, and channel or reseller models
Track record of driving partner-influenced or partner-sourced revenue in a commercial-facing role
Strong instincts about how GTM motions differ across EMEA markets and how to adapt a global playbook accordingly
Experience working in close partnership with regional sales leadership; you earn trust with a sales organization by making deals move, not by managing relationships in a vacuum
Based in EMEA; fluency in English required, additional European language a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce and/or HubSpot partner programs in an EMEA context
Familiarity with the EMEA agency and RevOps ecosystem
Prior experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company with a product-led or sales-led motion
