Front’s Data team builds the analytics infrastructure that powers decision-making across the company — from product insights to GTM performance. We’re looking for a Staff Data Engineer to own critical parts of that platform end-to-end: designing scalable pipelines and data models, raising the bar on reliability and data quality, and enabling self-serve data access for teams across Front.
This is a high-impact role for someone who loves turning complex, messy inputs into trusted datasets, and who can partner closely with analysts, data scientists, and product stakeholders to deliver data systems that are fast, secure, and built to last. Keep our data available and secure across multiple data centers and regions
Implement a robust monitoring & logging framework that guarantees traceability and audibility
Vet tools and technologies for the most viable solution for each problem at hand, and manage tools and data vendors involved
Bring strong AI fluency to how you build and operate — using AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate development, improve quality, and unlock new approaches to data reliability and automation

At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, or in a role with deep ETL expertise
Experience managing a Snowflake data warehouse
Strong programming fundamentals, with an ability to write modular, maintainable code
Advanced SQL and Python skills and strong comfort working with large datasets

Experience with workflow management tools (preferably Airflow)
A proactive, service-oriented mindset with a “can-do” approach and positive attitude

Part-Time (Contractor) Community Success Manager (Indianapolis, IN)
Viva is a network of affordable housing that offers families a set of benefits, including renting at affordable rates, while earning cash back from rent, which they can use to save, invest, and pursue their personal goals. We are creating equity for all through housing.
The Community Success Manager (CSM) will be a personal (in-person, on the ground) point of contact for 200+ families across multiple apartment communities helping connect families to benefits. These benefits include the Viva “financial wellness” package, but also access to healthcare through telehealth, free tutoring from Learn To Be (non-profit), and other benefits that may arise.
Together with our partners we provide a ‘continuum of care’.
Status:
- Opening: 1 part-time contractor role available
- Can start immediately
- Start date is negotiable
- Reports To: Director of Community Success (Etna) or Designee
- Part-Time Contractor
- Minimum 10 hours per week
- Maximum 20 hours per week
- Travel to our apartment communities in the Indianapolis metropolitan area, including Muncie and Shelbyville, IN is required
- Additional travel to other apartment communities may be required as we expand.
- Travel mileage to and from partner communities will be reimbursed.
- You will establish a relationship with property management and be welcomed into the community, including via email / text announcement to the residents.
- You will be able to complete your work during times when management is on site to provide support, and during daylight hours.
- Flexible Schedule
- You will have clear goals but can collaborate with your Viva manager and property managers to flexibly schedule the days / times that you accomplish work
- Note: You will want to make yourselves available to residents including at the times they are available, so some evenings and weekends are ideal
Compensation:
- Pay range is commensurate with experience: $20 - $35 / hr.
- Will revisit and renegotiate as appropriate no later than 180 days after start
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Onboard with Viva
- Learn Viva's mission, values, and approach to serving resident families.
- Meet key members of the Viva team, including your manager, Product team, and company leadership.
- Participate in weekly virtual all-hands meetings and team meetings.
- Become proficient with the Viva Benefits app and the resident benefits available through the platform, including healthcare, financial wellness, education, and other community resources.
- Participate in onboarding activities, including user interviews, product feedback sessions, and ongoing training.
- Build Strong Community Partnerships
- Develop trusted, collaborative relationships with property management and maintenance staff at each partner community.
- Serve as an extension of both the property management team and Viva Benefits by maintaining a professional, approachable, and reliable presence.
- Support partner goals while advancing Viva's mission to improve resident well-being and engagement.
- Engage residents in person
- Conduct regular door-to-door outreach to introduce residents to Viva Benefits and educate them about available resources.
- Build authentic relationships by listening to residents' goals, understanding their needs, and connecting them with relevant benefits and services.

- Assist with planning and participating in resident meetings, community events, and other engagement opportunities that complement ongoing resident outreach.
- Follow up with residents remotely
- You will have a work phone number (Google Voice) that you can use to text and connect with residents with whom you have engaged and formed a relationship

- Track resident engagement
- You will access a shared team tracker that monitors which residents have (1) expressed interest in a benefit, including Viva, and which residents have (2) actually accessed that benefit successfully
- Our goal will be to simply move all residents to (1) where there is a legitimate need or interest, and then move all residents to (2) once they express an interest

About Viva Benefits
Description
Recruiter – Community Success Managers (CSMs)
Company Context
Viva is growing quickly. Our Sales function is performing exceptionally well, driving demand for our Community Success (CS) services across U.S. markets. These services—delivered by Community Success Managers (CSMs)—sit at the intersection of social work, public health, and resident engagement, and are core to the outcomes we deliver for residents and property partners.
This success has created a new operational challenge: fulfilling 10+ CSM openings across U.S. markets on short timelines (30–45 days).
To meet this moment, we are creating a new, specialized role focused entirely on high-volume, high-quality CSM talent sourcing.
Candidates who advance in the interview process will propose items to include in a paid 2-week sprint which will constitute the final hiring “experience” – where you can both deliver immediate value and outcomes (eg: by the end of your first day) as well as assess the ongoing needs of the CSM Recruitment process and our hiring CRM (incl. HubSpot), and propose a broader plan of action and improvement – a 30/60/90 day plan you will present after you conclude the 2-week sprint.
Role Overview
The Recruiter – Community Success Managers (CSMs) is responsible for generating hundreds of role-aligned candidate leads per week to support rapid, multi-market hiring.
This is not a traditional recruiter role.
It blends:
- The volume, urgency, and outbound rigor of sales
- The systems discipline of CRM-driven pipelines
- The credibility and fluency of public health / social work ecosystems
Success in this role directly enables Viva to:
- Scale our most popular service tier
- Maintain quality and mission alignment
- Enter new markets faster with confidence
Core Goal
Generate hundreds of high-quality, role-aligned CSM hiring leads per week
to consistently support 10+ concurrent openings across U.S. markets
Key Responsibilities
1. High-Volume Candidate Sourcing
- Proactively source large volumes of qualified CSM candidates across U.S. markets
- Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for current and future openings
- Leverage non-traditional sourcing techniques to reach candidates beyond job boards
2. Outbound Engagement
- Conduct direct outreach via phone calls, text messages, email, and social platforms
- Engage candidates with urgency, clarity, and respect
- Prioritize response rates and conversations, not passive posting
3. Ecosystem & Network Development
- Build relationships with:
- Public health programs
- Social work degree programs
- Professional associations
- Public, nonprofit, and private organizations employing similar roles
- Develop repeatable sourcing channels from these ecosystems
4. CRM & Pipeline Management (HubSpot)
- Track all candidates and outreach activity in HubSpot CRM
- Maintain clean, structured pipelines and accurate candidate stages
- Collaborate closely with CS leadership to align sourcing with hiring needs
5. Screening & Qualification Support
- Conduct initial qualification conversations to assess:
- Role alignment
- Communication skills
- Demographic/Market alignment
- Mission alignment
- Support assessment of bilingual Spanish proficiency where applicable
- Help refine screening criteria and sourcing strategies over time
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required / Strongly Preferred
- Experience in outbound sales or high-volume recruiting
- Comfort generating hundreds of leads per week
- Hands-on experience using HubSpot CRM
- Willingness to call and text, not just email
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Highly Valuable
- Background, training, or professional experience in:
- Public health
- Social work
- Community-based services
- Ability to “walk the walk and talk the talk” with candidates
Preferred (But Not Required)

- Familiarity with nonprofit, government, or public-sector hiring environments
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

- Reducing time-to-fill pressure on Community Success leadership
- Establishing repeatable, scalable sourcing methods
- Becoming the internal owner of CSM talent supply
Salary
$30 - $50 per hour
Head of Human Systems
Company Mission
Who We’re Looking For
Core Responsibilities
- Partner with the executive team on company-wide planning and priorities, bringing a people-and-systems lens to decisions beyond HR
- Build and own the full system for how Photon finds, evaluates, and closes talent — shaping how the company is perceived and experienced by candidates from first touch through offer
- Own the company's internal tool stack and AI operating system — what tools exist, what's enforced, what gets built, bought, or retired
- Own budgeting and forecasting for people programs, internal tooling, and team activities
- Own the rituals and cadence that bring the team together as it grows — from regular team moments to how the company comes together for bigger milestones
- Own onboarding and offboarding, and the overall day-to-day experience of working at Photon
- Design and evolve Photon’s approach to feedback and performance as the company grows — rather than importing a traditional review cycle by default
- Own comp and benefits administration, including plan selection, and leveling execution in partnership with the COO
- Own HR compliance across the states Photon operates in
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years building or running a people function, including experience building one substantially from scratch
- Demonstrated ownership of full-cycle recruiting, not just process administration
- Real, hands-on IT/systems fluency: tool selection and consolidation, access provisioning, internal automation
- Experience operating without established process, and building it as you go, ideally at a company under ~100 people
- A track record or clear point of view on developing people so they grow and stay, not just onboard and get managed
- Able to work in-office in NYC at least 3 days a week
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building internal tools yourself, whether through scripting, automation, or no-code/AI-assisted platforms
- Background in healthcare or health-tech
- Prior experience partnering closely with a CEO/COO on company-wide planning or rhythm of business
- Experience building teams and systems and doing hard operational work outside of a straight HR career path or a traditional startup environment — evidence you can build under real constraints, not just in a familiar playbook
Why Join Us
- Own human systems at a company at a real inflection point — post-Series A — and define how the org scales from here
- Work on a problem almost everyone you know has experienced, and help fix a system that's broken in ways most people just accept
- Take on hard problems, with the growth and impact to match — we expect a lot, and we mean it
- Join a team that gives a shit — about the work, about each other, and about doing things the right way. High trust, high standards, and people who actually like spending time together

- You will be able to complete your work during times when management is on site to provide support, and during daylight hours

- Become familiar with the Viva Benefits product

- You should feel like an extension of the team
- While you will be focused on achieving our Viva team goals, you can help each of our partners achieve some of their goals, both to be a team player, and as a form of reciprocity
- Engage residents in person
- A primary way to engage residents is to knock on their door and talk to them
- We will co-create and role play a script that never ‘hard sells’ a service, but simply educates families that their apartment owner and manager, in partnership with Viva Benefits are offering primarily free (or deeply discounted) resources, and your job is to help make sure they are aware and taking advantage of these resources!
- We are genuinely curious about the needs and goals of each family, and the Viva app itself makes this a priority when they onboard
- You are encouraged to participate in, or plan and execute, in-person gatherings or events, such as monthly resident council meetings, however, these activities should be considered supplemental to the primary knock and talk strategy
- Follow up with residents remotely
- You will use a Google Voice number to text and connect with residents with whom you have engaged and formed a relationship
- However, other members of the team will be focused on remote engagement, so your texts / calls should be in service of (a) actively helping residents you connected with access benefits they have expressed interest in, or (b) coordinating time to connect in person
Qualifications:
- An intellectually curious generalist or ‘T-shaped’ professional
- Aspiration to learn about early-stage startups
- Motivated to help people: e.g. Viva is focused on creating equity for all through housing
- Bilingual Spanish required
- Because our communities include residents who speak a variety of languages, candidates should be comfortable navigating multilingual engagement and finding creative solutions to build trust across language barriers. This may include leveraging translation technology, AI tools, bilingual resources, interpretation support, and other communication strategies to ensure all residents feel supported and included.
- Social Workers and Public Health professionals encouraged
- Familiarity with the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) framework encouraged
- 2+ years of experience preferred in community engagement, case management, outreach, or helping deliver benefits (e.g., health, education, financial inclusion) directly to diverse families in an urban context.
