1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $400M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing.
About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.
If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
We're looking for a Staff Data Analyst to be the senior analytical partner to our Marketing organization. You'll define how Marketing understands its own performance, influence investment decisions at the leadership level, and shape the data foundations that underpin our AI and automation capabilities. Sitting within our centralized analytics function, you'll work closely with Growth Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Data Engineering bringing strategic thinking, deep marketing expertise, and the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations that move the business forward.
How we’re using AI today
On the Marketing team, we’re growing our AI capability together and redesigning how work gets done. We’ve built agents to improve workflows focused on competitive intelligence, content creation, and campaign planning, helping us stay sharp, reduce context-switching, and surface the right information at the right time. AI helps us coordinate, execute, and uncover insights faster so we can spend more time on what’s most important: performance, judgement, and driving the future of 1Password.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
7+ years in marketing analytics and data strategy within complex B2B SaaS environments
Deep marketing domain expertise, including attribution, funnel analysis, forecasting, KPI development, and lifecycle measurement
Proven experience partnering directly with senior marketing leaders and executive stakeholders
Experience leading attribution modernization or marketing measurement transformation initiatives
Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics, statistical modeling, or predictive techniques in a business context
Advanced SQL and strong experience with large-scale analytical datasets
Hands-on experience with modern AI/BI tools (Hex, Omni, Claude, Dust, or similar)
Comfort in modern cloud data ecosystems: Snowflake, Databricks, dbt
Experience working with Marketing and GTM platforms: Salesforce, Marketo, GA4, and related martech
What you can expect:
A greenfield opportunity to shape the data foundations, measurement frameworks, and analytical standards that Marketing and 1Password's broader AI capabilities will depend on
Deep partnership with Marketing leadership across planning cycles, investment decisions, and performance measurement
Ownership of complex marketing domain work across attribution, funnel measurement, forecasting, and lifecycle analysis in a fast-moving SaaS environment
A seat at the forefront of how AI gets applied in Marketing analytics, building the trusted, governed data foundations that every AI initiative will depend on
Cross-functional partnership across Marketing, Finance, RevOps, Product, and Data teams with the opportunity to mentor analysts and raise the bar on analytical standards
An environment where there's a lot to build and your fingerprints will be on it. This is a role for someone who thrives with ownership and ambiguity, not a playbook to follow
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $149,000 USD and $216,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $131,000 CAD and $175,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process.
Our approach to remote work
We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events.

Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
We're hiring a Director of Product Marketing to own the go-to-market strategy for 1Password's core product portfolio: Enterprise Password Manager, SaaS Manager, and Device Trust. This role reports to the VP of Solutions Marketing.
This is a senior leadership role with two responsibilities that carry equal weight: running a strong PMM team, and owning the positioning, narrative, and GTM execution for 1Password's core products.
You'll work closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Brand Marketing. The expectation: strong output from your team, and a visible lift in the quality of thinking across every team you partner with.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
Experience and Domain Expertise
10+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, with strong depth in identity security, credentials management, or access governance.
Hands-on experience positioning AI-adjacent or AI-native security solutions.
A working understanding of how identity security needs to evolve to support developers and AI builders.
Able to market technically complex products to different audiences — IT leaders, security engineers, CISOs — without losing coherence across them.
A track record in competitive markets where winning required unseating incumbents or reframing a category, not just occupying one.
Technical Depth
You understand how AI agents are reshaping identity and access security requirements.
Working knowledge of developer toolchains — IDEs, GitHub Actions, CI/CD platforms — and the secrets management patterns that surround them.
AI-Forward, Not AI-Dependent
You use AI to go faster, not to think less. You know what to hand off and what to own, and you can tell good output from output that still needs work.
You want AI to free up time for the work only a good product marketer can do: strategy, judgment, and narrative.
You own the ideas you bring, regardless of how you made them. Walk into a room with a recommendation and you can defend it. Candidates who produce content but can’t explain the thinking behind it won’t fit here.
Strategic Storytelling and Senior-Level Communication
You write for multiple audiences without diluting the message. A CISO and a platform engineer aren’t reading the same document for the same reason — you know how to serve both.
Strong narrative instincts: open with the problem, build to the solution, and leave the reader feeling like the product was built for their situation.
You’ve shaped category narratives, not just contributed to them.
People Leadership
3+ years managing PMMs directly, with clear examples of people you’ve developed and grown.
You know how to make a good PMM better: cleaner thinking, stronger writing, more effective in a room.
You’ve hired well. You know what strong looks like at each level and you build toward it.
You give your team clarity on priorities, ownership, and why their work matters.
Bonus points for:
Security certifications (CISSP, Security+, or similar).
Experience driving thought leadership in a fast-moving technology category. 1Password has a team that executes content; this role provides the point of view and substance that makes it worth publishing.
What you can expect:
Lead and Develop the Team
Directly manage a team of product marketers covering our core products.
Set clear expectations, manage performance without avoidance, and build a team that does sharp work and gives honest feedback.
Coach each PMM to do better work: clearer thinking, stronger writing, more effective in front of stakeholders.
Give the team what they need: clear priorities, clear ownership, and a direct line between their work and business outcomes.
Own Full-Stack Product Marketing for Core Products
Own messaging, positioning, and launch strategy for EPM, SaaS Manager, and Device Trust.
Define the market narrative that reframes 1Password’s core products in the age of AI and automation.
Tell the story simply — to analysts, customers, sellers, and SEs. Coach your team to do the same. Work with the broader PMM team to keep the platform story coherent.
Build Competitive Intelligence and Category Positioning
Own positioning and market leadership claims across EPM, SaaS Manager, and Device Trust. Partner with Solutions Marketing on competitive differentiation and solution narratives. Partner with Solutions Marketing to develop validated competitive differentiation and solution narratives.
Give AEs and SEs a clear, confident answer to why 1Password wins.
Identify where the market is moving, and stake 1Password’s claim early.
Enable the Field with Tools That Actually Get Used
Produce discovery decks, battlecards, objection-handling guides, and technical briefs that sellers and SEs reach for because they work.
Take complex technical concepts and make them usable — content a seller can pick up, understand, and use in a customer conversation without a briefing.
Surface win/loss signals from the field and turn them into repeatable GTM motions — not one-off documents.
Influence Product Strategy and Roadmap
Serve as the voice of the market to Product: bring customer evidence, analyst intelligence, competitive signals, and field feedback.
Be a trusted advisor to product leadership on prioritization, packaging, and positioning decisions that affect pipeline and retention.
Influence the roadmap by making the market case clearly and early.
Be a Credible External Voice
Show up at analyst briefings, customer advisory calls, and thought leadership moments where 1Password’s position in the market gets shaped.
Write bylines, talk tracks, and keynote content. Build relationships with analysts, customers, and key influencers that keep 1Password informed and visible.
Why join us:
You’ll own the narrative for products that 180,000+ businesses depend on, in a category that is actively being redefined by AI.
You’ll lead a team, not just contribute to one. This is a genuine people leadership role with room to build the team and the function.
1Password is remote-first and has been since day one. We hire for judgment, not proximity.
The company is scaling fast and the marketing function is maturing alongside it. There’s real room to shape how PMM works here, not just execute an inherited model

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Developer & AI team, focused on defining and driving the roadmap for Machine Identity — one of the hardest problems in modern security: how applications, services, and infrastructure authenticate without relying on long-lived credentials. This is a high-impact role at the center of one of 1Password's most critical strategic bets: Unified Access.
You will partner closely with a Senior Staff Product Manager, engineering, design, and go-to-market leaders to shape how developers and enterprises manage machine identities across every workflow that matters to them. You'll own roadmap definition, prioritization, and product strategy for the Machine Identity group — ensuring the customer voice is present in every decision. Your work directly contributes to 1Password's north star: be the universal source for all identities and credentials.

What we're looking for:
2–4 years of experience in a product management role, with a track record of owning features or product areas end-to-end
Hands-on experience writing PRDs, PRFAQs, or similar product specifications
Strong customer empathy — a demonstrated ability to gather feedback, identify patterns, and translate customer needs into clear, prioritized requirements
Comfort operating in a high-growth, fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and clarity needs to be created, not just inherited
Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams
Bonus points for:
Familiarity with developer tools, enterprise SaaS, or security products
Experience with using AI engineering tools for your own side-projects
Experience with identity, secrets management, or infrastructure security
What you can expect:
Define and maintain the customer-facing roadmap for the Machine Identity product area, in partnership with engineering and design leads
Own OKRs for your area with clear success metrics, and drive quarterly planning cycles end-to-end
Write and iterate on PRDs, PRFAQs, and other product specifications that align engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders
Prioritize initiatives on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis — keeping the team focused on the work that matters most
Bring the customer voice into product decisions through research, direct engagement, and structured feedback loops
Contribute to the cross-company vision and execution strategy for Machine Identity and the broader Unified Access platform
Support executive-level conversations with customers and prospects about Unified Access, alongside PMM and senior PM colleagues

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to join our Developer & AI team, focused on defining and driving the roadmap for the Developer Workflows engineering group. This is a high-impact role at the center of one of 1Password's most critical strategic bets: Unified Access Management.
You will partner closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market leaders to shape how developers experience 1Password across every workflow that matters to them. You'll own roadmap definition, prioritization, and product strategy for the Developer Workflows group while also contributing to cross-company vision and execution for Developer Watchtower within our Enterprise Password Manager (EPM) product: be the universal source for all identities and credentials.Unified Access.
8+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a track record of owning developer-facing or platform-oriented products and being accountable for their ultimate success
Deep understanding of how developers work, the tools they rely on, trends in the ever-evolving AI space, and the security and access challenges they face in modern engineering environments
Proven ability to define and execute product roadmaps for complex, cross-functional initiatives at a B2B SaaS company
Experience contributing to or driving cross-company product vision, including work that spans multiple engineering teams and product areas
Strong written communication skills; comfort producing PRDs, PRFAQs, and other structured artifacts that align and accelerate teams
A track record of building with a 18–24 month vision, with the ability to maintain strategic clarity while driving near-term execution
Executive-level communication experience, including representing a product area directly with customers' leadership teams
Ability to bring the customer voice into every product decision, using both qualitative and quantitative data to drive prioritization
Experience establishing OKRs, success metrics, and measurement frameworks that connect product outcomes to business results
Bonus points for:
Familiarity with developer security tooling, secrets management, or enterprise developer platforms
Experience with EPM, device trust, or identity and access management in developer contexts
What you can expect:
Own the roadmap for the Developer Workflows engineering group within Developer & AI, partnering closely with engineering leadership to define, sequence, and deliver key components of Unified Access
Contribute to cross-company strategy and execution for developer tools and Developer Watchtower within EPM, including participating in high-priority company-wide initiatives
Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly prioritization across your product area, bringing structure and clarity to a high-growth, fast-moving team
Represent the voice of the customer in all that you build: through discovery, PRDs, PRFAQs, and ongoing feedback loops
Collaborate with a junior PM in a neighboring team, helping to raise the bar on craft and product thinking across the broader Developer & AI org
Establish and own success metrics for your product area, with the expectation that ARR contribution and customer impact are central to how you measure progress
Represent your product area externally, including on calls with enterprise customers' executive teams, as a credible and compelling spokesperson for the Unified Access vision
What we expect you to bring:
Our philosophy on Product consists of five core pillars. We'll expect you to demonstrate strength across all of them:
Focus and Execution — Can you ship quickly and measure results?
Customer Empathy — Are you motivated first and foremost to solve customer problems?
Effective Communication — Can you bring the entire organization — horizontally and vertically — along on the journey?
Go To Market — Can you understand and drive business outcomes through product decisions?
Technology — Can you articulate how our technology beats our competitors?
What you can expect from us:
Working with a passionate, highly motivated Product team that is invested in your success and the success of your initiatives
A dynamic, highly collaborative environment
Empowerment to contribute to, and help drive, overall product strategy and the relative priority of the features you own on the roadmap
Being part of the team that drives 1Password's products and business to the next level
A fast-paced environment that prioritizes close collaboration over rigid processes, while continuously embracing an entrepreneurial culture

How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We're looking for a Senior Atlassian Administrator to join our Enterprise Tools team. This role owns Jira and Statuspage today, with the Atlassian platform growing as 1Password does. You'll be responsible for the architecture, configuration, workflows, governance, and day-to-day health of these tools across 1Password's engineering and business orgs. You bring an AI builder mentality to the work, using the right tools to help you move faster, solve problems earlier, and build things that last.
This is the kind of role where you're not just maintaining a system. You're shaping how people at 1Password work every day.

We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
6+ years of hands-on Jira administration experience in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Deep experience managing Atlassian Cloud Enterprise ecosystem, including an understanding of cloud architecture, product organizations and sandbox environments.
Deep expertise in Jira configuration: workflows, issue type schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes, custom fields, screens, and components.
Proven experience designing and governing Jira at scale, building standards for how teams use the platform.
Strong Jira Automation skills. You can build complex automation rules, maintain them, and explain the trade-offs.
Solid understanding of Jira REST API’s, webhooks, and basic scripting (e.g., python, javascript, groovy) for advanced integrations.
Experience with Statuspage administration. Confluence and Jira Service Management experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills. You can explain a workflow decision to an engineering lead and a permissions change to a legal team, without using different brains for each.
Experience aligning Atlassian configuration with corporate compliance and audit standards.
Experience with vetting, implementing, and governing third-party marketplace apps (e.g., Scriptrunner, structure tools, advanced reporting)
Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.
A bias toward simplicity and sustainability. You build configurations that teammates can understand, maintain, and hand off.
A profound respect for security and privacy. You think about access controls before someone asks you to.
What you can expect:
Champion the strategy for clean data architecture and own the architecture, configuration, and governance of 1Password's Atlassian platform, starting with Jira and Statuspage.
Participate in the company's Jira Council, a cross-functional governance group that keeps the platform aligned with organizational needs. You'll triage requests, assemble the right stakeholders, and drive decisions that balance platform integrity with how the business is evolving.
Partner with engineering, product, IT, and security teams to understand how they work and build Atlassian platform solutions that fit the way people operate.
Design and enforce Atlassian platform governance standards: project creation policies, workflow standards, naming conventions, field usage, and permission models.
Build and maintain Jira automations to reduce manual work and improve data quality across the platform.
Lead Atlassian tool onboarding for new teams and programs. Create training materials, run enablement sessions, and be the subject matter expert people trust to point them in the right direction.
Own the Atlassian vendor relationship and help shape the platform roadmap as the suite expands.
Identify technical debt, configuration drift, and process gaps. Build a backlog, prioritize it, and work through it.
Partner with others in IT on integrations between Atlassian tools and other enterprise systems (e.g., Slack, Identity Providers, CI/CD pipelines, or CRM tools).
Evaluate, manage, and audit third-party apps and plugins to ensure platform stability, performance, and security compliance.
Document configurations, workflows, and decisions so the platform is maintainable by the broader team.
Keep security and privacy front of mind across every configuration decision you make.
