Senior Manager , Brand Management & Public Relations
California / Campbell, CAMarketing – Demand Gen /Hybrid
APPLY FOR THIS JOB
Role Overview
We're looking for a Brand & PR Manager to shape Acceldata's perception in the market and to lead the earned-media programs that carry that perception. The role spans two connected areas:
Brand Management driving our narrative, messaging, and how consistently the brand shows up worldwide, and
Public Relations — working with our PR agencies, maintaining the communications calendar, and media programs across regions.
You'll ensure every region tells a coherent story, that our category narrative and points of view take hold in the market, and that we're winning share of voice against competitors.
Brand Management
Own how Acceldata is positioned and perceived - the narrative, the messaging, and the standards that keep the brand consistent everywhere it appears.
Brand narrative & messaging. Own the master brand narrative, messaging frameworks, and value propositions. Maintain messaging architecture and talking points, and keep brand expression consistent across regions, channels, and campaigns.
Category narrative. Drive market adoption of Acceldata's category narrative — ensuring our category language and points of view are consistently reflected in content, media coverage, and campaigns. Track whether analysts, media, and competitors begin adopting our framing, and feed that back into messaging.
Brand identity & standards. Steward the visual and verbal identity — voice, tone, logo usage, and design standards. Maintain and govern brand guidelines, and ensure internal teams, agencies, and partners apply them consistently.
Brand measurement & perception. Establish and maintain a consistent methodology for measuring brand visibility and perception across regions.
Benchmark our standing against competitors and against the specific points of view we're driving into the market. Report on share of voice, sentiment, message pull-through, and coverage quality on a regular cadence, and translate findings into recommendations.
Brand consistency & governance. Act as the guardian of the brand - reviewing external materials for alignment and resolving inconsistencies across teams and regions.
Public Relations
Lead the earned-media and communications programs that put the brand and its narrative in front of the market.
Agency management. Direct and coordinate the day-to-day activities of our PR agencies operating across regions (e.g., North America, EMEA, India).
Set priorities, brief agencies on narratives and campaigns, review outputs, and hold each partner accountable to shared KPIs.
Communications calendar. Build and maintain a rolling communications calendar with both month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter views, giving leadership and stakeholders forward visibility into the key stories, launches, and campaigns we're pushing. Sequence announcements so nothing collides and momentum builds toward key business events.
Content & announcements. Work with our agencies to develop press releases, media pitches, bylines, op-eds, and award submissions. Prepare spokespeople with talking points and Q&A.
Regional consistency. Ensure regional PR execution stays aligned to one global brand narrative while allowing for local nuance.
News Monitoring. Monitor social media and other media for news and announcements that are relevant to Acceldata. Identify angles and points of view and share with PR agencies.
What Success Looks Like
One coherent brand narrative and identity executed consistently across every region.
Our category narrative and points of view are visibly associated with Acceldata and increasingly used by media, analysts, and competitors.
Measurable growth in share of voice and improved sentiment versus competitors.
A steady, well-sequenced flow of high-quality earned media in priority markets.
Brand standards are understood and consistently applied by internal teams, agencies, and partners.
Qualifications
6+ years in brand management, PR, or corporate communications in B2B tech/enterprise software/data & AI.
Proven experience owning brand narrative, messaging, and brand standards.
Proven experience managing external PR agencies, ideally across multiple regions.
Track record of landing earned media and building share of voice.
Strong writing and editorial judgment; comfortable operating at an executive level.
Data-literate: Able to define and report on brand and communications metrics.
Nice to Have
Experience in the data platform, observability, or agentic AI space.
Experience supporting category creation or category-narrative programs.
Existing relationships with tier-1 tech media.
$220,000 - $240,000 a year
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Solutions Consultant with deep Hadoop knowledge and strong enterprise presence.
You'll be the principal technical owner of ODP (open data platform) deployments - responsible not just for standing up the platform, but for guiding a customer's infrastructure, security and database teams to the right architectural decisions, and for making those decisions stick in environments where security and change control are non-negotiable.
This is a hands-on role with a consultative position. You'll be equal parts architect, engineer and trusted advisor: designing the target-state cluster, executing the build, and translating hard technical trade-offs into terms a customer's stakeholders can act on. You are the person the customer relies on to get a secure, scalable platform right the first time.

What we look for:
Own cluster architecture and deployment. Lead end-to-end deployment of Acceldata ODP managed via Apache Ambari. Define cluster topology - master, slave and client node placement - sized to the customer's workload and infrastructure.
Prepare and harden infrastructure. Advise on and execute OS-level prerequisites on RHEL or Ubuntu: password-less SSH, DNS/NTP, firewall () rules, SELinux and PackageKit handling, and system tuning such as and open file descriptors.
Deliver secure and air-gapped deployments. Design and implement installations inside firewalled and air-gapped data centres using local mirror repositories or trusted HTTP proxy servers, working within the customer's change-control and compliance constraints.
Integrate backend databases. Provision and configure operational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL/MariaDB), including schemas, users and JDBC drivers for core services - Ambari, Hive, Spark, Ranger and Schema Registry.
Extend the ecosystem via mpacks. Install, configure and troubleshoot components through Ambari Management Packs - Spark, Kafka, Flink, NiFi, Ozone, Airflow, Trino, ClickHouse, JupyterHub and MLflow.
Implement enterprise security. Stand up cluster security end-to-end: Kerberos integration, Apache Ranger authorization policies, SSL/TLS certificate management, LDAP/AD integration, and secure credential handling (e.g. obfuscating LDAP bind passwords via the Ambari Credential Store / JCEKS).
Advise and enable the customer. Run working sessions with the customer's infrastructure, security and DBA teams; document target-state architecture and handover runbooks; and coordinate with Acceldata engineering and account teams to unblock issues and drive long-term adoption.
8+ years of experience in customer-facing product implementation, designing and deploying performant end-to-end data architectures, and solving complex migrations and deployments.
Comfortable writing code in either Java, Python or Scala.
Consult on design and architecture; implement strategic customer projects that lead to customers' successful understanding, evaluation, and adoption of Acceldata Data Observability Cloud.
Good understanding of Data management concepts like Data Quality, Data Catalog and Data Governance.
Must-Have Qualifications
Deep architectural knowledge of the Apache Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, ZooKeeper).
Strong Linux system administration on RHEL and/or Ubuntu, with a real command of network configuration, firewall rules and system tuning.
Practical experience with enterprise security: Kerberos (KDC), SSL/TLS, LDAP/AD and Apache Ranger.
Comfort operating within the platform's runtime stack (Java and Python) for configuration and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills - able to explain hard technical trade-offs clearly to both engineers and senior stakeholders - and the autonomy to drive complex work with little supervision.
Strongly Preferred (Great Foundation)
Extensive experience managing Cloudera (CDH/CDP) or Hortonworks (HDP) distributions - this maps to an excellent foundation for the role.
Familiarity with several of the mpack components above (Spark, Kafka, NiFi, Trino, Ozone, MLflow, etc.) rather than all.
Experience delivering into regulated, secured or air-gapped environments.
Strong desire to tackle hard technical problems in Kubernetes; proven ability to do so with little or no direct daily supervision.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and willingness to support working in different time zones, and may be required to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with customers.
Prior customer-facing / professional-services or consulting experience in enterprise environments.

Manager, Deal Desk
United StatesSales – Sales Operations /Full-Time /Remote
APPLY FOR THIS JOB
ABOUT US
Acceldata is the market leader in Enterprise Data Observability. Founded in 2018 and backed by top investors including Insight Partners, March Capital, Lightspeed, Sorenson Ventures, Industry Ventures, and Emergent Ventures, we are a Series-C funded company headquartered in Silicon Valley.
Our Enterprise Data Observability Platform—the first of its kind—helps enterprises build and operate world-class data products by ensuring data is reliable, trusted, and ready to power today’s most critical technologies, including AI, LLMs, Analytics, and DataOps.
Delivered as a SaaS solution, Acceldata is trusted by leading global organizations such as HPE, HSBC, Visa, Freddie Mac, Manulife, Workday, Oracle, PubMatic, PhonePe (Walmart), Hershey’s, Dun & Bradstreet, and many more.
*We are looking for candidates based on Eastern or Central Time Zones.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Revenue Strategy & Operations, the Manager, Deal Desk owns the end-to-end execution of Acceldata’s most strategic and complex enterprise deals and will continue to iterate and build upon the function that scales them. This is a foundational hire. You will be the first dedicated owner of Acceldata’s Deal Desk: running live deals hands-on today, while standing up the process, tooling, and playbooks that turn rapid deal support into a true competitive advantage tomorrow.
You will sit at the center of every large enterprise transaction; partnering with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Revenue Operations to structure deals, protect margin, accelerate cycle times, and remove friction between “verbal yes” and signed contract. You’ll work with some of the world’s largest and most complex organizations, navigating key deal terms, consumption-based and open-source commercial models, and mission critical customer relationships with the world’s most sophisticated buyers.
This role is ideal for a builder: someone confident enough to hold the line with Sales but humble enough to keep learning, logical under pressure, and energized by finding the gaps and closing them with better process, automation, and AI. Over the next 12–18 months, the right person will grow this from a one-person function into a global team.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Acceldata is the leader in enterprise data management, helping the world’s largest organizations build and operate enterprise grade data products. As we scale, the way we structure and close complex deals is a direct lever on revenue, margin, and customer trust. We have a talented, highly motivated and fast moving team, and you’ll have the opportunity to apply your skills and insights and constantly learn in a high-growth environment.
You won’t inherit a mature machine, you’ll continue to build it. This is a rare chance to transform a function, set the standard, and grow it into a team, while making an immediate impact on every strategic deal we run. If you’re an owner who loves collaborative problem solving and building fast, scalable processes, we’d love to meet you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Run Enterprise Deal Flow
Serve as the trusted deal partner for the field on complex, high-value enterprise opportunities; from deal structuring and quoting through approvals and signature.
Structure contracts and licensing with the world’s largest companies: leveraging consumption/usage-based models, multi-year & ramped commitments, co-sell and marketplace transactions, and enterprise frameworks.
Own the quote-to-contract path: ensure accuracy, enforce approval workflows, and keep deals moving with urgency, especially at quarter- and year-end.
Be the connective tissue across Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Revenue Operations; driving alignment and fast, sound decisions on pricing, terms, and deal optimization.
Build the Function
Design and mature Deal Desk processes, approval matrices (delegation of authority), and playbooks from a maturing baseline into a scalable, referenceable and repeatable system.
Optimize and extend the tooling stack (CRM/CPQ/CLM and approval workflows), partnering with Revenue Operations to automate manual steps, reduce cycle time, drive adoption and improve standardization.
Identify gaps proactively and close them using automation, AI, and clean data to improve deal velocity, quote accuracy, and margin protection.
Translate sales team and customer feedback into process improvements, and codify what “good” looks like as the team and deal volume grow.
Protect the Business & Enable Sales
Safeguard pricing integrity and margin while keeping the path to “yes” fast and predictable for reps.
Partner on pricing strategy and packaging; surfacing insights from the deal pipeline to inform discounting guardrails and commercial policy.
Build sales enablement and self-serve guidance so reps know how to structure deals correctly the first time.
Lay the foundation for a future team: documentation, standards, and scalable processes that a growing Deal Desk can run on.
REQUIREMENTS
4-6 years in deal desk, sales operations, revenue operations, enterprise sales, contracts/commercial, or a comparable role; or a track record that proves you can learn this fast. We care more about horsepower and judgment than a specific title.
Strong command of the most critical components of an enterprise deal: pricing and discounting, commercial structure, and core legal concepts (MSAs, order forms, redlines, liability, term/renewal).
Proven ability to drive deals to close: organized, diligent, and calm under quarter-end pressure, with a bias for action, and relentless determination to get things done.
A builder’s instinct: you spot inefficiency, design better processes, and improve systems rather than just working within them.
Comfort with SaaS and enterprise complexity; ability to work with the world’s largest organizations and their procurement, security, and legal teams.
Fluency with CRM and deal tooling (e.g., Salesforce) and an appetite to leverage automation and AI to scale yourself.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence without authority; confident and direct with Sales, but a true partner, not a blocker.
Coachable, logical, and humble; you hold the line on the things that matter without being adversarial, and you keep getting better.
Excellent communication and a sales-culture fit: you operate with urgency, ownership, and a team-first mentality.
Flexibility to work across a broad range of global markets, timezones, customer business processes and functional disciplines.
Ability to explain company business priorities to internal and external counterparts as you influence deal structures and optimize terms.
Commitment to compliance with all laws, regulations and good business practices.
BONUS POINTS
Experience with consumption/usage-based pricing or open-source commercial models.
Background supporting data, analytics, AI, or developer/infrastructure platforms.
Hands-on experience with CPQ and CLM platforms and building approval automation.
Familiarity with cloud marketplace (AWS/GCP/Azure) and channel/co-sell deal motions.
Experience standing up or scaling a Deal Desk function from the ground up.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Revenue Strategy & Operations, the Senior Manager, Sales Enablement is responsible for constantly improving Acceldata’s global field teams' sales success. You’ll enable our Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Services, Support and Partner teams to understand our products and services deeply, position and demo them well, and navigate complex enterprise sales cycles. You will build the function from the ground up: onboarding, ongoing training, certification, and the programs that shorten ramp and consistently increase win rates.
You’ll own all rep-facing training and readiness. Marketing’s content enablement team owns external and top-of-funnel content and messaging; you’ll take that material and turn it into field-ready training, while the skills, coaching, and certification are yours. You’ll work closely with Sales leadership, Product, and the Field CTO team so every rep understands the value we deliver and can carry it through a deal.
You measure your work by outcomes: faster ramp, shorter sales cycles, higher conversion, and quicker time-to-market for new products. You partner across the Revenue Operations team to track those numbers and show the impact. You care about reps getting a little better every week, not just passing through a training.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Acceldata is the leader in enterprise data management, helping the world’s largest organizations build and operate enterprise grade data products. As we add products and grow the field, how quickly and how well our reps sell is one of the biggest levers we have. Today there is no dedicated sales enablement function. You’ll build it.
Done well, this role shows up directly in the numbers: reps ramp faster, sell more, and move deals through the pipeline quicker. If you like building enablement from the ground up and you want your work measured by what the field actually does, we’d like to meet you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own Onboarding & Ramp
Directly run onboarding for every new Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, Support and Partner hires through their first two to three months, and own their path to productivity.
Build a ramp curriculum and certification that accelerates the time from new start to close of first new business sale, with clear milestones and a real measure of readiness.
Get new hires fluent fast on our products, our market, our buyers, and how we win.
Track ramp time and time-to-first-deal, and keep tightening the program against those numbers.
Run Ongoing Enablement & Coaching
Build the recurring enablement cadence that keeps reps improving week over week: skills training, call coaching, role-plays, and certification.
Roll out a sales methodology and the playbooks behind it, and make sure the field actually uses them constantly in live deals.
Stand up the enablement tooling and content from scratch, including the platform, certification, and one place reps can find what they need.
Work across the Revenue Operations team to connect enablement to conversion and sales-cycle time, and use what you learn to adjust the programs.
Drive Product & Go-to-Market Readiness
Partner with Product and the Field CTO team so reps understand the value we deliver, can position our products and services, and can demo them well.
Own field readiness for new product launches so the team can sell new offerings on day one and we get to market faster.
Build demo certification and value-based selling skills together with the SE and Field CTO teams.
Turn marketing’s product and positioning content into training reps can actually use in front of customers.
REQUIREMENTS
10+ years in sales enablement, or as a seller or sales engineer who moved into enablement, in a SaaS or enterprise software business.
A track record of building onboarding and enablement programs that cut ramp time and improved win rates.
Comfort building from scratch: you can stand up a function, not just run one that already exists.
A strong grasp of enterprise sales: how complex deals are run, what good selling looks like, and the methodology behind it.
A strong understanding of open-source software and foundations (such as the Apache ecosystem), containers and Kubernetes, SaaS, enterprise selling, and data management and infrastructure built on open source, with enough product fluency to build training that holds up with technical buyers.
Hands-on experience building with AI: you use AI tools to create enablement content, programs, and workflows, and you can coach reps on putting AI to work in their day-to-day selling.
Strong coaching and facilitation skills; reps respect you and get better because of you.
Comfort working across Sales, Product, the Field CTO team, and Revenue Operations without formal authority.
A habit of measuring your work and tying it to ramp, conversion, and sales-cycle outcomes.
Clear communication and a sales-culture fit: you operate with pace, accountability, and a bias toward the field.
BONUS POINTS
Experience enabling teams on data, analytics, AI, or open-source enterprise products.
Background carrying a quota or working as a sales engineer.
Experience enabling partner or channel teams.
Deep and practical experience in sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Challenger, Command of the Message).
