Apollo.io is the leading go-to-market solution for revenue teams, trusted by over 500,000 companies and millions of users globally, from rapidly growing startups to some of the world's largest enterprises. Founded in 2015, the company is one of the fastest growing companies in SaaS, raising approximately $250 million to date and valued at $1.6 billion. Apollo.io provides sales and marketing teams with easy access to verified contact data for over 210 million B2B contacts and 35 million companies worldwide, along with tools to engage and convert these contacts in one unified platform. By helping revenue professionals find the most accurate contact information and automating the outreach process, Apollo.io turns prospects into customers. Apollo raised a series D in 2023 and is backed by top-tier investors, including Sequoia Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, and more, and counts the former President and COO of Hubspot, JD Sherman, among its board members.
What You'll Do
Key Outcomes: Success in this role will be measured by your ability to:
Own day-to-day deal support and use it to raise the floor. Review in-flight order forms for non-standard terms and route exceptions before they hit Legal or provisioning. Beyond the throughput, you’ll help guide quality standards, exception taxonomy, and intake criteria to build from patterns and create cleaner systems and processes over time.
Turn post-close opportunity review into a systemic feedback loop. Audit closed-won deals for accuracy between Salesforce and contract data, and surface reconciliation gaps before they hit billing or provisioning. Use those findings to diagnose root causes — whether that's a SFDC field mapping issue, an Ironclad template gap, or a rep behavior — and drive the fixes upstream so the same error doesn't recur.
Build and own the Deal Desk operating system. Design and maintain the runbooks, approval matrices, intake workflows, and deal-type documentation that let the team scale. The goal is a Deal Desk that's self-serve by default and escalation-by-exception.
Contribute to the infrastructure that replaces the workarounds. Translate operational pain points into structured, credible input for engineering and RevOps. The best analysts in this role won't just document problems; they'll help design the systems that make them disappear.
What we're looking for:
4-6 years in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a related commercial function, with direct experience in contract review, deal structuring, or order management.
Salesforce proficiency — comfortable navigating Opportunity and related child objects, pulling reports, and spotting data quality issues. You understand how SFDC connects to the broader quote-to-cash toolset.
Systems thinker with a builder's bias. When you encounter a recurring problem, your instinct is to figure out why it keeps happening and fix the process, not just close the ticket. You document what you learn, build the thing that prevents the next ten instances, and measure whether it worked.
Comfortable operating in ambiguity. Both in systems and in process execution, this role requires someone who can hold the current state together while contributing to what replaces it, without needing perfect clarity to move forward.
Clear cross-functional communicator — equally comfortable fielding a question from an AE, looping in Sales leadership and Legal into a redline, or writing a clean summary for Finance. Knows how to effectively close the loop.
Analytical and structured — Able to build a post-close audit tracker, an exception log, or a reconciliation report without significant support, and turn the output into a recommendation, not just a table.
Experience with CLM or order form tooling (Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, Conga, or similar).
The listed Pay Range reflects the total cash compensation inclusive of annual base salary and annual bonus as applicable. Additional benefits for this role may include: equity; company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; at least 10 paid holidays per year, flex PTO, and parental leave; employee assistance program and wellbeing benefits; global travel coverage; life/AD&D/STD/LTD insurance; FSA/HSA and medical, dental, and vision benefits.

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. Apollo is on a mission to make world class GTM accessible for everyone. Apollo is best known for it’s world class data business, but what we’ve built goes beyond just data. The company's biggest unlock right now is closing the gap between what most people know us for today and the AI-first business we’re building.
We're hiring a Senior Content Marketing Manager to own that gap. You'll work with Apollo’s exec team to build narratives that break through the noise to position Apollo as the default AI native system for GTM teams. You’ll also own operationalizing that narrative by owning the content strategy that gets this narrative into market - long form research based content, exec thought leadership, and proof points that shift how the market sees us. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our CEO, CRO, CMO, and product PMMs.
This is a senior IC role for an experienced product marketer who's just as comfortable writing the LinkedIn post as building the messaging house behind it. If you've ever been the person quietly translating an exec's half-formed idea into the narrative everyone ends up repeating — this role is built for you.
What You'll Do
Drive the perception shift. Build and execute the strategy that moves Apollo to "AI-first GTM platform" in the minds of upmarket buyers, analysts, and the broader GTM community.
Run the company content engine. Set the editorial POV, prioritize the bets, and ship the work — original research, defining frameworks, exec thought leadership, blog flagships, video, podcast moments. You're as much an editor as a writer.
Operationalize narrative into launches. Partner with product PMMs to map product to narrative, so every Tier 1/2 launch lands in the larger story instead of as a one-off feature drop.
Translate technical into magnetic. Take dense product capability (MCP, agents, the platform architecture) and turn it into stories upmarket buyers, operators, and analysts can't stop quoting.
Build the proof point machine. Partner with customer marketing to turn customer wins, usage data, and category benchmarks into the evidence layer behind every narrative claim.
Scale yourself with AI. Fluency with Claude (and the workflows we've built around it) is required. You should be the kind of PMM who treats AI as core infrastructure, not a side tool.
Measure the vibe shift. Brand pulse, Gong call language, analyst conversations, inbound demand signal — track the perception KPIs alongside content performance.
What We're Looking For
8+ years of content marketing experience at B2B SaaS, with a clear spike in narrative, positioning, and content. Strong content marketers with deep PMM chops also welcome — but this role lives in the PMM seat.
You write. Not "can write when needed" — you write. You have a portfolio of long-form, exec social, narrative docs, or launch copy you'd put on a billboard. You can make a CEO sound like the smartest version of themselves.
Cross-functional translator. You're the connective tissue between product, sales, brand, comms, and exec — you've worked directly with CEOs and CROs and you know how to turn their instincts into shipped artifacts.
Strong POV on AI go-to-market. You don't need to be an AI doomer or zealot, but you have a real take on how AI is reshaping B2B GTM, and you've started showing it through your own work.
AI-native operator. Comfortable with Claude as a daily tool; you've built or used custom skills, prompts, or workflows that meaningfully scale your output. Bonus for AirOps, Tofu, Opus Clip, or anything beyond ChatGPT.
Builder mentality. Comfortable shipping V1 docs, running point on cross-functional asks, and saying no to kitchen-sink PMM requests. You've worked in environments where you set the system, not inherit it.
Distribution sensibility. You think about how a narrative spreads — through exec voice, influencer networks, analyst conversations, owned channels — not just what you're publishing.
High agency, high bar. You can move from C-suite narrative work to writing a LinkedIn post for a launch in the same day, and you hold yourself and your partners to a tight quality bar.
Bonus Points
You've worked at a company that successfully shifted upmarket — and you can tell the story of what marketing actually did to make that happen.
You've gone viral in the B2B space — but you also know that virality without narrative is noise.
Why This Role
High-leverage moment. Apollo is at the rare inflection point where the product, the market, and the AI shift have all aligned — and narrative is the missing piece. The right person here directly influences how the next phase of the company is perceived.
Strong scaffolding, room to lead. Brand, copywriting, social, web, customer marketing, and product PMM are all in place. You won't be a one-person band — you'll be the strategist who pulls it together.
Direct access to execs. You'll work directly with our CEO, CRO, and CMO on the questions that matter most to the business.
AI-forward team. PMM at Apollo is one of the most AI-native marketing teams you'll find — we treat Claude as core infra, not a novelty.

Apollo raised a series D in 2023 and is backed by top-tier investors, including Sequoia Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, and more, and counts the former President and COO of Hubspot, JD Sherman, among its board members.
The cost of going from idea to working prototype has collapsed. One person with taste, strong judgment, and AI tools can now do what used to take a team and a sprint cycle. Apollo is hiring for what comes next: Product Builders who combine product judgment, domain depth, and AI-native execution.
This role owns Deliverability & Connectivity, the trust layer that determines whether Apollo can reliably send, sync, route, suppress, enrich, and activate across a customer’s GTM stack.
Apollo is expanding from “help me find and message prospects” to “help me run my GTM motion.” That only works if Apollo can connect to the customer’s systems, send through trusted channels, respect their rules, diagnose what breaks, and help sales and marketing teams scale without creating risk.
This is not a narrow deliverability role. It spans mailbox connectivity, domain setup, ESPs, marketing systems, CRMs, suppression sources, routing systems, workflow automation, diagnostics, and the infrastructure that makes Apollo a trusted GTM execution platform.
This is the opportunity: build the connected messaging and execution foundation that lets Apollo become the operating system for modern GTM.
What you will own
The vision, strategy, and roadmap for Deliverability & Connectivity
Apollo’s messaging infrastructure layer across deliverability, mailbox connectivity, ESPs, marketing systems, diagnostics, and safe execution
Product experiences that help customers connect systems, understand health, diagnose issues, and confidently launch GTM motions
Safe-to-send and safe-to-scale experiences across domains, mailboxes, ESPs, suppression rules, and sending paths
Build vs. partner vs. integrate decisions across ESPs, MAPs, CRMs, data platforms, routing systems, and workflow tools
Metrics across connection health, healthy setup, send reliability, deliverability health, sync reliability, self-serve resolution, activation, retention, and customer outcomes
Cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, GTM, Support, Data, and Enablement
The long-term evolution of Apollo into the trusted execution layer for sales and marketing
What you will do
Get close to customers, GTM teams, Support, and internal users to understand where trust breaks down across setup, connectivity, sending, syncing, suppression, and execution
Set product strategy for how Apollo should connect to the systems customers already use and help them execute GTM motions safely and reliably
Prototype quickly using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Figma AI, and other AI-native workflows to validate ideas before scaling investment
Turn complex infrastructure into simple customer experiences across SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNS, OAuth, mailbox limits, ESP connectivity, suppression, bounce handling, and send safety
Lead build vs. partner vs. integrate decisions across ESPs, MAPs, CRMs, data platforms, and workflow systems
Partner deeply with Engineering on architecture, reliability, observability, APIs, data models, and edge cases while staying anchored in customer and business outcomes
Partner with Design to make trust visible: what is connected, healthy, risky, blocked, and what action to take next
Partner with GTM, Support, and Customer Success to reduce preventable customer pain and turn reliability into a product advantage
Define the KPI tree and learning loop for the product area, then use it to prioritize, measure, and iterate
Raise the bar for product clarity by writing crisp strategy docs, PRDs, launch plans, and tradeoff memos that make the next best action obvious
What we are looking for
7+ years of experience, including ownership of complex product areas from strategy through launch
AI-native builder. You use tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Figma AI, or similar to prototype, validate, and accelerate execution. You can point to things you built or shipped, not just specs you wrote
Principal-level ownership across a meaningful product area with company-level visibility
Strong product judgment. You know how to find the highest-leverage problems, make hard tradeoffs, and protect focus
Systems thinker. You can reason across mailboxes, domains, ESPs, MAPs, CRMs, suppression, consent, routing, workflows, and downstream execution
High agency. You create clarity in ambiguous environments and move work forward without waiting for perfect structure
Technical fluency across architecture, reliability, observability, APIs, data models, instrumentation, and edge cases
Customer empathy for where trust breaks down for sales, marketing, RevOps, admins, and end users
Execution excellence. You define, ship, measure, and iterate without thrash
Strong influence and communication. You align teams, build trust quickly, and make complex systems feel simple
Nice to have
Experience in email deliverability, ESPs, marketing automation, messaging infrastructure, notifications, integrations, or GTM systems
Familiarity with SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNS, OAuth, suppression, consent, bounce handling, mailbox limits, reputation systems, or sending infrastructure
Experience building integrations with CRMs, MAPs, ESPs, data platforms, routing tools, or workflow automation systems
Experience building for sales, marketing, RevOps, customer success, or GTM operators
Experience using analytics, experimentation, observability, or support data to improve platform reliability and customer outcomes
