What You’ll Do:
As a member of our Certification team you will report to the Head of Certification and help guide the certification efforts for our first certified aircraft. You are the administrative support assigned to assist the certification effort through all phases of the type certification program.
Coordinate and support certification activities
Track, review, and maintain certification documents, compliance checklists, and other related paperwork
Work closely with Certification Engineers and Program Management to maintain Certification Status Reporting Tools
Support meetings with regulatory authorities; take notes, submit briefings, and ensure completion of action items
Assist in the development/release of Certification processes and procedures
Assist with communications/submissions to the FAA; track FAA acceptance
What you need:
5+ years experience in business Administration
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to identify and resolve issues, troubleshoot problems, and find solutions.
Accuracy and thoroughness in completing tasks, including data entry and document preparation.
Bonus Qualifications:
Experience using JIRA, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, and Sharepoint
Experience or knowledge of FAA Certification
Experience with FAA Certification
Experience with AI tools

What you’ll do
As a member of our Certification team you will report to the Sr. Manager of Certification Engineering and help guide the certification efforts for our first certified aircraft. You are the certification subject matter expert aiding the certification effort through all phases of the type certification program.
Coordinate and support certification activities for the assigned Engineering teams
Establish compliance strategies for certification including methods of compliance to FAA regulations
Work directly with the teams to establish relevant designs, development, and certification plans for Type Certification
Act as liaison between the teams and FAA Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs)
Communicate regulatory requirements in a clear and concise manner to the teams and other Archer teams to ensure all stakeholders understand the scope of compliance activities
Ensure appropriate methods of compliance are selected and adhered to
Lead the development, authoring, review, and execution of certification plans
Assist with planning and execution of development and certification test campaigns, including coordination of Conformity Inspections, DER witnessing, and test results documentation
Review designs and documentation with DERs to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards
Support meetings with regulatory authorities; prepare briefing materials, and ensure completion of action items
Collaborate with other members of the certification team to develop integrated aircraft level planning
What you need
BS/MS in Engineering or related degree
15+ years experience in certification in civil or military aircraft
Previous experience with Part 23, 8110.4c, AC 20-107, AC 23-19 and other applicable regulations and guidance materials
Ability to interpret FAA regulations and guidance material and communicate requirements to internal and external stakeholders
Experience in developing and executing certification plans
Experience interacting and communicating directly with FAA
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience as an FAA DER
Experience with ODA’s
Experience with certification of electrical systems/mechanical systems/propulsion/ structures
Experience with FAA Conformity
Experience with TSO approvals
Bonus Qualifications:
Experience with eVTOL, powered-lift, or other special class aircraft development
Experience with the Issue Paper process

What you'll do:
Assist in building and updating FE models of electric propulsion engine assemblies using ANSA as the pre-processor.
Run linear static analyses in Nastran for limit and ultimate load cases; check results for correctness and flag anomalies.
Support nonlinear analysis tasks in Ansys under direction of senior engineers.
Post-process analysis results in Meta; generate plots, summary tables, and preliminary findings for review.
Maintain traceability between analysis inputs (loads, geometry revisions, material properties) and analysis outputs.
Prepare sections of analysis reports under review and guidance of the lead engineer.
Collaborate with design and loads teams to incorporate design changes and updated boundary conditions into models promptly.
Actively develop technical skills through hands-on work, code review, and mentorship from senior team members.
What you need:
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field.
2–4 years of FEA experience on structural assemblies, including meshing in ANSA or equivalent pre-processor.
Working knowledge of Nastran for linear static analysis.
Familiarity with results post-processing in Meta, FEMAP, or equivalent.
Basic understanding of structural mechanics: stress, strain, load paths, bolted joint behavior.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage analysis inputs and outputs across multiple design iterations.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Team-oriented mindset with willingness to receive and act on technical feedback.
Bonus Qualifications:
Academic or internship exposure to rotating machinery, powertrain, or electromechanical structural analysis.
Familiarity with Ansys for nonlinear structural problems.
Experience with Python or MATLAB scripting for FEA pre/post-processing.
Knowledge of composite or metallic aerospace structural analysis methods.
Familiarity with FAA certification requirements for Part 23 or Part 27 aircraft.
Experience with PDM/PLM tools for version-controlled model management.

What you’ll do:
Candidates will be a member of the Archer Defense and Advanced Programs organization and will be part of the team to incubate, market, capture, and execute (technical, cost, and schedule) advanced programs applied to our Archer Defense portfolio.
What you need:
6-10 years’ experience in the aerospace or related field. Candidates will possess as a minimum BS engineering, computer science, physics, or math degree, MS or PhD desired. Experience with design, analysis, fabrication, and test of survivability technologies (RCS, IR, Acoustics); ASE, and mission systems; Operations Analysis to include numerous modeling and simulation environments such as AFSIM and knowledge of domestic and international threat systems is a must. Candidates should have experience leading and working across all engineering, manufacturing, and business disciplines.
Candidates must be US citizens and possess or can obtain a DoD security clearance.
Knowledge of RF, EW/EA, EOIR, acoustic, mission systems, sensors, communications, dynamic and propulsion (electric, hybrid, and gas turbine) systems, CAD, python, MATLAB.
Bonus Qualifications:
Model Based Systems Engineering, SysML, DoDAF. Experience with customers.

What you'll do:
Be a member of the Archer Defense and Advanced Programs organization and support the team in incubating, marketing, capturing, and executing (technical, cost, and schedule) advanced programs across the Archer Defense portfolio.
What you need:
0–2 years of experience in aerospace or a related field. A BS in engineering, computer science, physics, or math is required; MS or currently enrolled in further education.
Foundational understanding of or academic exposure to survivability technologies (RCS, IR, Acoustics), ASE, and mission systems. Familiarity with modeling and simulation environments such as AFSIM is a plus.
Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, and business disciplines.
Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
Basic knowledge of or interest in RF, EW/EA, EOIR, acoustic, mission systems, sensors, communications, and propulsion systems. Familiarity with CAD, Python, or MATLAB is a plus.
Bonus Qualifications:
Exposure to Model Based Systems Engineering, SysML, or DoDAF.
Any prior internship or project experience working with defense or government customers.
