What You'll Do

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
- Experience building scalable SaaS platforms or enterprise applications.

About the Role
Customer Transformation is the team responsible for delivering value from Auger’s autonomous supply chain operating system, and this is the role where you learn to do that from the ground up. You join a deployment pod, take a workstream, and own it end to end: the plan, the meetings, the follow-through, and the number it has to move.
The work is hard, the pace is fast, and the travel is heavy. You are on site with customers, in their operations, not observing from a desk. You will run a schedule that cross-functional teams depend on, chase down the answer nobody wants to give you, and write the requirement precisely enough that an engineer can build from it without asking you a second question. You will do this on live enterprise accounts where the customer has already paid for an outcome.
These roles are where Auger's future leaders come from. You learn this business at the edge, inside our customers' operations, which is the only place it can actually be learned. If you are good, you will run your own account inside two years and lead multi-workstream enterprise accounts after that. Several of the people who will run this company learned it exactly this way. The ceiling here is set by what you can carry, not by a calendar.
What You'll Own
1. The Plan and the Pace
You own the schedule for your workstream and you defend it. Milestones, dependencies, who owes what by when, and what happens when someone misses. Nobody chases you for status, because the plan is already published and current. Enterprise deployments slip in one-week increments that nobody notices until the quarter is gone. You notice on day two, and you fix it before anyone asks
2. The Details Nobody Else Will Chase
Every deployment carries a hundred small unresolved questions: which SKU hierarchy governs, whose forecast is authoritative, who signs off on the data feed, what happens when the planner overrides the recommendation. Left alone, they surface at launch as failures. Your job is to hunt them down before they bite. Track every open question, drive each to a decision with a named owner, and close it. Unresolved for more than a week means you escalate, not wait. You do not forward problems to your account lead. You bring the problem, the two options, and your recommendation.
3. Requirements Precise Enough to Build From
You sit between a customer who describes their business in stories and engineers who need specifics. Your job is the translation, and vague translation is the most expensive failure in a deployment. You turn what the customer said into requirements the Supply Chain Scientist, Customer Engineering Lead, and Customer Product Lead can build from without a follow-up meeting. Named fields, named systems, named owners, stated edge cases.
4. The Numbers on Your Workstream
Your account lead owns the account value model. You own the inputs that feed it from your workstream, and you know their current values without looking them up. You track the input measures on your workstream (forecast accuracy, service level, exception volume, adoption rate, whatever the model calls for), keep them current and visible, and flag movement in either direction the week it happens.
5. Communication That Ends Confusion
You write the update that cross functionals teams and a customer executive read. It says what shipped, what changed, what is at risk, and what happens next. No hedging, no status theater, no burying the bad news in paragraph four. You own the written record for your workstream: decisions, owners, dates, risks. When someone asks what is going on, the answer already exists in writing.
What We're Looking For
- Two to five years in an environment that demanded more than it gave: a service academy or military assignment, a top-tier consulting or banking analyst program, a startup where you were handed something you were not ready for, or an operating role where you carried a real number.
- Evidence of grit under load. You have run a project that was behind, unclear, and yours anyway, and you brought it in.
- Raw analytical horsepower. You can take an unfamiliar operational problem, break it down, quantify it, and defend your logic to someone smarter than you in the room.
- Speed. You learn a new domain in weeks, not quarters, and you would rather ship a good answer Thursday than a perfect one next month.
- Written precision. Your updates are short, specific, and complete. Nobody has to ask you a clarifying question.
- Hunger. You want the next level and you are willing to earn it in the detail, on real accounts, in front of real customers.
- Comfort with directness. Feedback here is immediate and specific in both directions. If that reads as harsh rather than useful, this will be the wrong team.
- Supply chain experience helps but is not required. We will teach you the domain. We cannot teach you drive.
What This Role Is (And Is Not)
This is not a rotational program, an analyst pool, or a support function. You are not here to take notes, build decks, or schedule meetings for someone senior. From your first account you own real scope in front of a real customer, and the deployment moves or stalls partly because of you.
It is also not a coasting job. The learning curve is steep on purpose, the standard is high on purpose, and the people who thrive here want both.
You cannot get this experience in a classroom, a rotational program, or a staff job, and you cannot get it anywhere else in this market. You will sit in rooms most people reach a decade later: a VP of Supply Chain defending their forecast, a CIO deciding what data we get, an executive sponsor asking why the number moved. You will be expected to have a point of view in those rooms, not just notes.

What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end systems architecture across data pipelines, AI/ML platforms, semantic layers, and application interfaces — designing for modularity, scale, and durability from day one.
- Build and evolve the data integration layer: ingestion, normalization, and orchestration across structured and unstructured sources, using API-first design principles (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and real-time streaming technologies like Kafka and Apache Pulsar.
- Architect the semantic intelligence layer: knowledge graphs, ontology design, vector embeddings, and RAG techniques that give Auger context-aware reasoning across the full enterprise data fabric.
- Design and operate scalable AI/ML platforms for training, deployment, and model lifecycle management — integrating LLMs, embeddings, and multimodal models into production applications via MLOps tooling (MLflow, SageMaker, Databricks).

What You Bring
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

The core of this work is training foundational models for supply chain expertise, not wrapping a generalist frontier model in a better prompt. We think a specialist model, trained deep on the domain, beats a generalist model on the problems that actually matter here, and gets us to a level of inference speed, cost, and reliability that routing every decision through a frontier API simply can't reach.
What Makes You Succeed Here
- We'd rather see your checkpoint get quantized, distilled, and forked into someone else's production stack than see it top a leaderboard for a week and disappear. A few things from The Auger Edge show up again and again in the people who do well here.

About the Role
Auger is building the autonomous operating system for supply chain. Our domain Product VPs build world-class capabilities for Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Intelligence. Our Product Leads work directly with customers to discover new workflows and validate them through rapid prototypes. You turn those discoveries into the platform every one of them stands on.
As Principal Product Manager, Platform Experience, you own strategy, roadmap, and execution for a significant portion of Auger's Core Platform: the shared capabilities every customer relies on regardless of which supply chain solutions they deploy. You transform validated customer innovations into scalable platform capabilities and production-quality software. Done well, customers immediately understand what the platform knows, why it made a recommendation, what actions it took, and what value it created, and every capability feels native to Auger no matter which team built it.
What You'll Do
- Strategy, roadmap, and execution for core shared platform capabilities, including conversational AI and chat, report building, navigation and information architecture, search, notifications, identity and user management, shared workflows, cross-product experiences, and product language and interaction standards.
- Proactive identification of opportunities to expand reusable platform capabilities, simplify complex workflows, and improve consistency across the platform, driving investments independently that strengthen the customer experience and let Product Leads move faster.
- Own the product experience end to end, in close partnership with Design: interaction models, information architecture, product language, and shared workflows aligned with Auger's design system and standards, so every capability feels like part of one cohesive product.

About the Team & Role
Great design and great engineering don't always speak the same language, and the gap between them is where good ideas die on the way to production. This role closes that gap: turning design intent into working UI, and grounding design decisions in what's actually buildable, from the earliest sketch through shipped product.
You'll prototype before you polish, advocate for the end user in rooms full of competing priorities, and be fluent enough in both design and code to move fluidly between them without losing fidelity in either direction.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the connective tissue between design and engineering, translating design intent into working UI while grounding design decisions in technical reality.
- Build prototypes early and often, surfacing opportunities, mistakes, and overlooked details at the prototyping stage before they impact timelines and budgets.
- Advocate strongly for UX in cross-functional discussions, speaking to content strategy, creative direction, and engineering complexity, while championing the end user's perspective.
- Implement polished, accessible UIs with a solid command of programming fundamentals, fluent in both design ("pixels") and code ("pointers").
- Collaborate closely with designers, researchers, and product partners, and build internal tools that streamline the broader UX process.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or another relevant field.
- 4+ years of experience working at the intersection of design and engineering.
- Proficiency with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Experience working with Azure or a comparable cloud platform.
- Strong command of accessibility standards and a track record of shipping polished, production-grade UI.
- Fluency in prototyping tools and workflows, with the judgment to know when a prototype is answering the right question.

About the Team & Role
Auger is building the operating system for supply chain. The models can be right, the decisions can be sound, but none of it matters if the experience that delivers them feels slow, cluttered, or untrustworthy. This role owns that experience: the point where Auger's intelligence becomes something an operator actually uses, every day, without thinking twice about it.
You'll shape technical direction, not just execute against a spec. You'll hold the bar on speed, polish, and reliability from the first line of code, and you'll build the design system that lets the whole product move faster as it grows.
What You’ll Do
- Define the technical vision and direction for Auger's product suite and individual features.
- Design, develop, and deliver features that customers interact with directly.
- Hold a high standard for the product's look and feel, treating speed, responsiveness, and reliability as core priorities from the start, not problems to fix later; champion UX and design thinking from the earliest stages of every feature.
- Create and continuously refine a unified design system, including shared components, patterns, and design tokens, that keeps visual and interaction design consistent across products while speeding up how quickly new features ship.
- Partner closely with product managers to understand what users need, define what a feature should cover, and weigh tradeoffs thoughtfully throughout the build.
- Move fast by refining the experience continuously, drawing on real user feedback and internal testing.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another relevant field.
- 4+ years of professional front-end engineering experience.
- Proficiency with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Strong hands-on experience building production front-end systems with a high bar for craft, performance, and reliability.
- Proven ability to lead and execute multiple concurrent initiatives.
- A track record of owning features end to end, from technical design through shipped product.
- Experience building or contributing to a design system: shared components, patterns, and tokens that scale across a growing product surface.
- Strong product instincts. You partner naturally with PMs and can weigh tradeoffs between scope, speed, and quality.

We are seeking Supply Chain Applied Scientists to join Russell Allgor's team in Bellevue, WA or Dallas, TX.

Auger is hiring a Data Scientist to help turn raw customer data into the structured understanding within our ontology that powers autonomous operations and execution. Russell Allgor’s supply chain science team builds advanced AI and optimization systems for some of the most complex supply chain problems in the world, and bringing that science into production requires a tight connection between the models and the data that feeds them. This role sits at that connection point.
You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with seasoned supply chain experts, learning the domain on the job while bringing the analytical horsepower to model it. Your core work will be to understand how a customer’s business actually operates, interpret the data their systems produce, and build the inference, regression, simulation, and optimization logic that closes the loop between business processes and the world model that represents them. You will deeply understand what the models need, why they need it, and how supply chain data behaves in practice, then translate that understanding into clear, actionable requirements for the engineers building the underlying infrastructure.
You will be a critical link between Auger’s applied science and data engineering teams. When data quality issues arise, you will help diagnose whether the issue is the source data, a pipeline problem, a modeling assumption, or a mismatch between the data and the real-world business process it represents. When a model moves toward production, you will own the quality validation to make sure it works in the real world.

What You’ll Do
- Be the IT presence in our office, owning employee support, in-office technology (AV, networking), and the day-to-day reliability of the environment our team builds in.
- Partner closely with the IT Operations Engineer covering our Dallas office.
- Own onboarding and offboarding logistics end-to-end: account provisioning, hardware management, and making sure every new hire hits the ground running.
- Build automation workflows that eliminate coordination overhead and amplify team output using tools like Tines, Claude Code, or n8n.
- Administer and scale SaaS tools including Microsoft 365 and Intune; manage macOS devices via Jamf with security and compliance configurations that hold up under scrutiny.
- Document workflows and improve IT processes with scale in mind. Systems that work for 50 people should still work at 500.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent support issues; be the person the team can count on when something breaks.
