POSITION SUMMARY Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy Information Assurance Lead. The Information Assurance (IA) Lead provides the strategic direction and technical oversight necessary to ensure Axiom Space systems and processes meet rigorous security, regulatory, and compliance obligations. This role bridges the gap between high-level governance and technical execution through a threat-informed defense strategy. You will lead the effort to proactively safeguard digital assets, govern security standards, and ensure the integrity of data across our mission-critical infrastructure, including compliance with NIST 800-53/171, CMMC, and ITAR/Export Control regulations. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Oversight: Lead the design and implementation of the Information Assurance roadmap, ensuring all internal and customer-facing systems align with the organizational risk appetite and modern threat landscapes. Audit Leadership: Function as the primary point of contact and lead for all security audits and certifications (NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001). Technical Risk Management: Oversee technical security assessments and threat modeling for complex networks. Utilize frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to model adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), identify deviations from policy and authorize remediation strategies based on recognized countermeasures. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Legal, and Program stakeholders to integrate robust security controls and defensive mitigations into the system development life cycle (SDLC). Third-Party Risk Management: Lead the integration of cybersecurity requirements into the procurement lifecycle; partner with Safety and Mission Assurance to define technical security baselines for suppliers and manage the end-to-end audit process to ensure compliance with NIST 800-53/171 and CMMC standards. Process Innovation: Drive automation in the compliance space by integrating security tooling (SIEM, GRC platforms, etc.) to create a continuous monitoring environment, mapping alerts, and telemetry to MITRE frameworks to ensure comprehensive defensive coverage. Executive Reporting: Translate complex security risks into business contexts for leadership, providing actionable insights on emerging adversary trends, defensive readiness, and regulatory changes. Agile Project Management: Implement and maintain agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle. Performs other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline; or equivalent practical experience, defined as 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or IT Audit. Minimum of 8+ years in technical cybersecurity roles, including at least 3 years with a primary focus on cybersecurity compliance, governance, risk, or audit functions. Certifications: Relevant industry certifications strongly preferred, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSNA, CCA, or comparable credentials demonstrating expertise in security leadership, governance, and assurance. Technical Depth: Demonstrated expert-level knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., SP 800-53, SP 800-171), CMMC requirements, and the safeguarding of sensitive, regulated, and export-controlled information (ITAR/EAR), and practical application of threat informed defense models (MITRE ATT&CK/D3FEND/SPARTA). Track record of making things happen in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. Uses good judgement to problem-solve proactively, positively impacting hard challenges. POSITION SUMMARY
Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy International Markets Manager who is responsible for executing the company’s sales strategy across priority accounts and opportunities. This role serves as the primary operator within the sales lifecycle-owning customer engagement, advancing pipeline, and driving deals to closure within defined strategic and commercial parameters. They are accountable for managing complex sales processes, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring that opportunities are structured, negotiated, and closed in alignment with profitability targets and delivery capabilities.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Own day-to-day customer engagement and relationships across assigned global accounts, serving as the primary commercial interface.
Drive pipeline development by sourcing, shaping, and advancing new opportunities within target markets and accounts.
Conduct initial opportunity assessments and partner with Business Development to support rigorous qualification aligned to strategy and profitability.
Execute the full sales lifecycle from qualification through close, maintaining disciplined pipeline management and forecasting accuracy.
Lead development of commercial proposals and customer-facing materials in coordination with Business Units and BD.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts within established parameters, escalating exceptions as needed to maintain deal integrity.
Support formal capture processes for complex or non-standard opportunities, ensuring clear translation of customer requirements into viable solutions.
Maintain customer ownership post-signature to ensure continuity, enable successful delivery handoff, and drive follow-on growth opportunities.
Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership.
Implementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform additional job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of experience in global sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles, preferably in complex, high-value industries (e.g., aerospace, infrastructure, government, or advanced technology sectors) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven track record of closing large, strategic deals and managing long-cycle sales processes.
Experience leading global accounts and navigating multi-stakeholder, cross-border engagements.
Strong commercial acumen, including pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and risk management.
Demonstrated ability to operate in highly matrixed organizations and influence senior stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Track record of making things happen in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Uses good judgement to problem-solve proactively, positively impacting hard challenges.

POSITION SUMMARY
Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy International Government Markets Manager responsible for translating international government and sovereign engagement into commercially viable, revenue-generating opportunities. This role serves as the bridge between public-sector relationships and private-sector execution, leveraging deep experience with government stakeholders, procurement environments, and policy dynamics to shape, negotiate, and close complex deals.
This position owns strategic accounts and drives the full sales lifecycle from early market engagement and opportunity shaping through contract execution and long-term account growth. The role requires the ability to navigate multi-layered government decision-making processes while structuring agreements that align with corporate strategy, profitability targets, and operational delivery capabilities. Success in this role is defined by the ability to transform relationships and national-level interest into repeatable commercial outcomes, long-term partnerships, and scalable revenue streams.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and lead account strategy for sovereign and government customers, aligning commercial pursuits with geopolitical priorities, national objectives, and long-term partnership value.
Serve as the relationship owner across ministries, agencies, and state-backed entities, building trusted, executive-level relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
Convert government and sovereign demand signals into structured commercial opportunities, driving pipeline development and revenue growth across international markets.
Lead complex negotiations involving government procurement frameworks, public-private partnerships, and non-standard commercial structures, balancing competitiveness, compliance, and profitability.
Translate policy, regulatory, and geopolitical dynamics into actionable sales strategies that position the company effectively within government-led or government-influenced programs.
Integrate cross-functional teams to align customer requirements with executable, revenue-generating solution.
Guide qualification and prioritization of opportunities by applying a nuanced understanding of government funding cycles, procurement pathways, and strategic objectives.
Sustain long-term partnerships post-award, leveraging government experience to expand relationships into repeat business, multi-mission programs, and broader commercial growth opportunities.
Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership.
Implementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong understanding of government decision-making processes, funding mechanisms, and procurement pathways.
