Clinic Coordinator
Member Support Specialist - Bilingual, Spanish (8am - 5pm EST shift)
Licensing and Credentialing Manager
Brightline is redefining what pediatric behavioral health care looks like for families across the country. None of that reach matters if a provider cannot legally practice or a payer will not pay the claim. As Manager, Licensing & Credentialing, you own the machinery that keeps every provider licensed, enrolled, and revenue-ready across every state and every payer network Brightline works with. This is a remote role with no direct reports, and it is designed as a high-level individual contributor position.
Why This Role
This is the role where precision becomes something families actually feel. Every provider you get licensed and credentialed faster is a family that gets care sooner, and every payer relationship you strengthen is revenue Brightline has already earned finally landing where it belongs. You will own the licensing vendor relationship and its budget, direct how that vendor performs rather than simply tracking it, and run payer credentialing end to end. You will keep every roster airtight and turn slow enrollments into fast ones through relationships you build yourself. You will sit at the table with Contracting, Revenue Cycle, Compliance, Clinical Operations, and Legal, representing this function as someone leadership counts on for answers. And you will own the metrics that prove it is all working, while designing the processes that let this function scale as Brightline continues to grow. If you want a role where precision is the whole point and the impact is easy to see, this is it.
Responsibilities
Licensing Management
Own the CertifyOS vendor relationship, including budget accountability and renewal negotiations.
Direct the day-to-day work CertifyOS performs on Brightline's behalf and hold the vendor accountable to defined service levels.
Oversee all provider licensing and license renewals across multiple states.
Ensure timely submission, tracking, and renewal of provider licenses.
Monitor vendor performance against established service level agreements (SLAs).
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure providers are licensed before scheduled start dates.
Identify opportunities to improve licensing workflows through automation and process optimization.
Maintain accurate licensing records and ensure compliance with all state licensing board requirements.
Provider Credentialing
Manage all commercial, Medicaid, and managed Medicaid payer credentialing activities.
Personally oversee provider enrollment, re-credentialing, and payer applications from submission through approval.
Track credentialing status and proactively resolve enrollment delays.
Ensure providers are credentialed and billable prior to delivering patient care whenever possible.
Maintain complete and accurate credentialing documentation.
Monitor re-credentialing timelines to prevent credentialing lapses.
Payer Roster Management
Own payer roster management across all contracted health plans.
Ensure provider roster submissions are accurate, timely, and synchronized with payer systems.
Coordinate provider additions, terminations, demographic updates, tax ID changes, and location updates with contracted payers.
Perform routine payer roster audits to identify and correct discrepancies.
Partner with Revenue Cycle teams to resolve billing issues resulting from roster inaccuracies.
Establish standardized processes for roster maintenance as the organization scales.
Payer Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial and government payer credentialing representatives.
Lead recurring monthly payer operational meetings focused on credentialing escalations, enrollment turnaround times, provider roster accuracy, re-credentialing performance, and process improvement opportunities.
Serve as the organization's primary escalation point for payer credentialing issues.
Represent the licensing and credentialing function in cross-functional forums with Contracting, Revenue Cycle, Compliance, Clinical Operations, and Legal, speaking for the function's priorities and status rather than simply coordinating within it.
Partner closely with those teams to resolve payer related issues impacting provider enrollment.
Delegated Credentialing
Support the development of delegated credentialing programs with contracted payers.
Collaborate with Compliance and Quality teams to ensure delegated credentialing requirements are met.
Coordinate payer audits and maintain audit readiness.
Accountability and Scale
Own and report on the core metrics that define whether the function is working, including days to credential, license renewal on-time rate, and payer roster accuracy rate.
Define the processes, documentation, and workflows this function runs on today, built so they hold up as provider volume, state coverage, and payer relationships continue to scale.
Bring metric trends and process gaps to leadership proactively, rather than only when an issue has already caused a delay.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of provider licensing and payer credentialing experience.
Strong understanding of CAQH, NPPES, PECOS, Medicare enrollment, Medicaid enrollment, and commercial payer credentialing.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Strong problem-solving and escalation management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that improve operational performance.
Experience managing multi-state provider licensing
-
Experience managing vendor relationships and delegated credentialing programs.
Experience working with CertifyOS or similar credentialing software preferred.
-
Preferred experience with:
Credentialing providers through commercial and Medicaid payers
Managing payer roster submissions and provider directory accuracy.
We offer several benefits, perks, and stipends:
Medical, Dental, Vision, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Account, and 401k

Clinical Director
Clinical Director - Milwaukee, WI
Hybrid - Up to 3-4 days/week on-site in Milwaukee clinics early on, with up to 20% travel to local market(s) | Must reside within daily commutable distance to Milwaukee, WI
Brightline is a premier national youth mental health provider, delivering high quality virtual and in person care to families when and where they need it.
Behind every Brightline clinic in Wisconsin is a family trusting us to get their child's care right. You're the clinical leader who provides the strategic leadership, vision, and oversight that makes sure we do, not for one clinic, but for an entire market of clinicians and the families they serve.
Why This Role
This is a rare chance to shape pediatric behavioral health across the Wisconsin market, not just a single clinic. As Brightline grows in Wisconsin, you'll be the clinical backbone of that expansion, building the team, the standards, and the culture that lets quality scale as fast as the business does.
Every day, your decisions will directly shape the care thousands of kids and families receive, from the therapist you hire, to the protocol you enforce, to the clinic you help launch. You won't just manage what exists. You'll build what's next.
You'll operate at the senior table, in true partnership with your market’s GM, with real influence over how Brightline's care model evolves nationally. National clinical and operations leadership will be behind you every step, so you can spend your energy on what only you can do, leading clinicians and setting the bar for care.
Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight
Own the overall quality of clinical care across the market, auditing your direct reports' charts directly and overseeing how other managers evaluate their own teams.
Partner cross functionally with Brightline leaders on the metrics that define clinic health, clinical quality and outcomes, operational P&L and utilization/capacity, people retention and development, and growth.
Design and oversee peer consultation groups in partnership with the national clinical team, running weekly to biweekly sessions with an assigned group of clinicians.
Report out on clinical, and clinician metrics, and own root cause analysis and solution execution when something's off, partnering with the national team on model or tooling fixes.
People Leadership
Hire and develop the managers, therapists, and psychologists who will carry the market’s growth, with every hire meeting Brightline's clinical and cultural bar.
Train every new hire on Brightline's clinical protocols, operational policies, and procedures, and hold the whole market to that standard with fidelity.
Meet 1:1 with every direct report at least biweekly to review clinical care, documentation, caseload, productivity, engagement, and tool use, and hold managers to that same standard with their teams.
Supervise pre licensed therapists as needed, including reviewing and co-signing clinical documentation.
Give your clinical managers and supervisors the oversight they need to stay aligned and consistent across teams.
Resolve concerns raised by members, clinic staff, or other stakeholders quickly and thoroughly.
Hold your team compassionately accountable to performance expectations, using Brightline's tiered performance management practice, including PIPs and peer review, when needed.
Assess your team's ongoing development and training needs in partnership with national clinical and care operations.
Patient Care
Maintain a limited caseload, early on or as needed, not to exceed 60% of the time and shrinking as the market grows.
Provide and oversee care, including psychological testing, therapy, and diagnostic evaluations, for youth facing anxiety, OCD, behavioral and impulse concerns, depression, trauma, and more.
Deliver evidence based interventions, including CBT, ERP, PMT, DBT, HRT, and other empirically supported approaches.
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing for common youth concerns.
Stay current on clinical research and hold yourself to the field's highest ethical standards.
Clinic Outreach, Marketing & Networking
Partner with your market GM and Brightline's national marketing and community engagement team to build relationships with hospitals, pediatrician groups, payors, and schools.
Lead community engagement efforts, such as speaking engagements at schools or medical offices, in collaboration with Brightline's corporate partners.
Oversee outreach efforts led by other members of your clinic staff.
Requirements:
A PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or a closely related field, required.
An active psychologist license, with particular expertise in child and adolescent behavioral health evaluation, testing, and intervention.
Based in the greater Milwaukee area (within a daily commutable distance) to support an in-clinic presence in Milwaukee 3–4 days per week early on to build culture and manage performance, along with up to 20% travel to other locations across the state.
Experience leading clinical programs. You've served as an Executive Director, Market Clinic Director, Program Director, or in an equivalent role, building and leading programs of care and training teams of providers.
Experience providing clinical supervision to associate level or post doctoral clinicians.
Deep knowledge of the local, state, and federal regulations that govern this market.
Preferred experience building teams and systems from the ground up in a startup or high growth environment.
Strong analytical skills. You make data driven decisions and move fluently through dashboards and BI tools.
Ability to influence cross functionally and act as a real thought partner to peers and centralized support leaders.
Proven experience managing and developing a team, including hiring, coaching, and holding people accountable through formal performance processes when needed.
Ability to communicate with clarity and warmth, in writing and in person, in ways that influence and inspire.
Excellent time management and organizational skills without losing the details.
Experience working in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard workplace communication/project management tools (e.g., Slack, Asana, Google Workspace), with the ability to learn new platforms as Brightline's tech stack evolves.
Flexibility to support varying clinic operational shift coverage (e.g., shifts ranging between 9am–5pm, 10am–6pm, 11am–7pm, and occasional Saturdays) based on market and clinic coverage needs.
