Senior Recruiter
Staff Implementation Engineer
Senior Engagement Manager
About the Role
Engagement Managers are the driving force behind Credit Union onboarding at Clutch, owning the end-to-end success of implementation projects from kickoff through go-live. This is a builder's role: you'll operate with a high degree of autonomy, defining structure and process where it doesn't yet exist rather than waiting for it to be handed to you. You'll bring a consultative approach to every engagement: diagnosing what a customer actually needs, not just what they ask for, and prescribing the right path forward with confidence.
Partnering closely with Implementation Engineers and internal and external project teams, you'll translate a customer's business objectives into an executable plan and hold every work stream accountable to it.
About the Team
What You’ll Do
You'll drive the full project management lifecycle for a portfolio of onboarding projects: developing project plans and work breakdown structures, running status reporting and communication cadences with executive sponsors, and proactively identifying and mitigating implementation risk before it threatens a timeline or relationship. You'll approach each engagement consultatively, backed by strong product instincts, not just process expertise.
You'll hold cross-functional project teams accountable to milestones and quality standards through credibility and influence, and you'll help build the methodologies that raise the bar for the broader Implementation team as Clutch's product and customer base grow. You'll be expected to bring your own judgment to ambiguous situations, build structure from scratch, and move forward without waiting for a playbook to catch up to you.
Within 1 month, you will:
Ramp into Clutch's implementation methodology and the credit union/banking domain, building the fundamentals for driving customer outcomes through principled judgment rather than a fixed playbook
Begin managing your first engagements, understanding each customer's business objectives and current project status
Establish initial rapport with customer stakeholders and your internal project team partners
Get oriented on the full portfolio you'll own and how it's currently tracking against milestones
Within 3 months, you will:
Drive onboarding efforts across your full portfolio of customers, partnering with the project team to prescribe best-practice recommendations that achieve each customer's business goals
Develop detailed project plans and work breakdown structures that create urgency and hold both client and internal project teams accountable to milestone dates and work quality
Produce weekly status reporting and communication plans for executive sponsors and internal/external project teams
Proactively identify implementation risks and mitigate them before they impact timelines or satisfaction
Build strong, trust-based relationships with customer stakeholders
Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous or undefined situations without needing to be told how
Within 6 months, you will:
Execute implementation projects in close partnership with clients' executive-level sponsors, driving milestone meetings (onsite and virtual) and developing new project artifacts as needed
Track detailed scope of engagement, working with customers to estimate and execute change orders when scope shifts
Develop deep credit union domain and product expertise, becoming a trusted thought leader who prescribes solutions rather than just facilitates process
Coach and mentor project team members to raise the bar on the team, both internally and with the client
Actively contribute to the practices and methodologies that help the Implementation team scale
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of experience in engagement management, professional services, or implementation project management, ideally within enterprise SaaS or fintech
A consultative background with experience diagnosing underlying business problems to prescribe pragmatic recommendations rather than just executing what's asked
Strong product instincts with genuine curiosity to develop real depth on the Clutch platform, enough to guide customers with authority rather than defer to others on product questions
Proven track record independently owning a full implementation or project lifecycle, including making tradeoff and sequencing calls yourself, not just executing a plan someone else scoped
A builder's mentality: genuinely energized by creating structure and process where none exists yet, rather than needing an established playbook
Comfort operating with significant autonomy and limited formal support; a "figure it out" instinct paired with the judgment to know when to ask for help
A mindset of using AI as a working tool to continuously sharpen your own process and project execution, not just as a novelty
Demonstrated ability to hold cross-functional partners accountable to deliverables and quality without formal authority over them
Executive-level stakeholder management: comfortable building trust and communicating with VP and C-level customer stakeholders as an advisor, not just a project executor
Hands-on experience with enterprise software implementation across both waterfall and agile methodologies
Sound judgment on risk and scope
Please note that this role may evolve as our business needs change, so we appreciate your flexibility and adaptability.

AI Operations Manager, Emma
Senior Sales Engineer
About the Role
As a Senior Sales Engineer at WithClutch, you'll partner directly with our Account Executives to drive technical strategy across the full sales cycle: from discovery through solution design to close. You're the person AEs bring in when a deal needs technical credibility: scoping integrations, answering the hard architecture questions, and building the demo and proof-of-concept work that moves a deal forward.
This is a sales role for someone with real technical depth, not an engineering role — but that depth needs to be genuine. You'll independently configure and debug the systems you work in, catch errors before they become someone else's problem, and hold your own with a credit union's CTO on integration complexity. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with both external clients and internal partners matter as much as the technical chops — but neither substitutes for the other.
About the Team
We are a high-performing team driven by a shared passion for solving complex problems and delivering elegant, impactful solutions. We believe in working hard while having fun, and we bring energy, creativity, and collaboration to everything we do.
As master storytellers, we craft compelling narratives and presentations that resonate deeply with our clients and internal partners alike. Our ability to simplify the complex, combined with our technical expertise and business acumen, enables us to drive value and build trust at every stage of the sales process.
What You’ll Do
Within 1 months, you will:
Have a full understanding of the problems we are solving with our technology and be able to assign our solutions/features to the specific pains our clients are feeling.
Be able to autonomously configure demo instances for consumer lending and consumer deposits and will have mastered the associated product demo talk tracks.
Demonstrate a solid foundation of the ecosystem partners Clutch touches and have familiarity with competitor solutions.
Build foundational fluency with our ecosystem partners, competitive landscape, and day-to-day tools (Claude, Demostack, GitHub).
Within 3 months, you will:
Have run at least 1 full sales cycle where you have played the leading role, including solution design for consumer deposits and/or lending.
Be the default point of technical escalation for at least one class of complex deals (e.g., integration-heavy or compliance-sensitive opportunities)
Be able to articulate a solid understanding of our solutions, integration paradigms, ecosystem partners, and product roadmap.
Have demonstrated proficiency with the tools used in your day-to-day activities as evidenced by the artifacts you will have contributed to team and company libraries.
Have solidified deep interpersonal relationships with cross-functional partners, including but not limited to: product, engineering, design, compliance, implementations, enablement, and customer success that contribute to the overall success of Clutch.
Work semi-autonomously with limited oversight from management
Within 6 months, you will:
Be seen as a product expert across all solutions that Clutch provides, including consumer deposits, consumer lending, business deposits, loan automation, and ancillary offerings.
Have introduced an AI-enabled workflow (e.g., automated demo environment provisioning, AI-assisted technical qualification) that the full SE team has adopted, and can point to a specific, measurable efficiency gain it produced for the team's output (e.g., % reduction in demo build time, % faster discovery-to-proposal turnaround) — not just your own throughput
Have built and own the SE team's Technical Discovery & Qualification Framework — a structured scorecard for assessing integration complexity, compliance risk, and technical fit that does not exist today. This becomes the tool every SE runs new opportunities through, and the required step before an AE commits demo and solution-design resources to a deal.
Work in a mostly autonomous fashion (eg: without support from management), ensuring you are managing up appropriately
Will be considered an SME for not only products sold by Clutch but also system architecture, integration paradigms, system configurations, and internal tooling.
Be the named point of technical escalation for integration-heavy and compliance-sensitive deals — AEs and SEs route to you by default when a deal's technical complexity threatens to stall it, not once you've had to prove yourself
What You’ll Bring

Strong technical foundation across the relevant product/systems domain, with enough depth to be a real escalation point

Senior Accountant
About the Role
Clutch is hiring a Senior Accountant to own our month-end close from start to finish, partnering closely with our Accounting Manager to build a close that’s fast, clean, and audit-ready.
This is not a support role: you drive the process, identify gaps, and build the documentation and controls that let us scale. We’re accelerating our close to a standard 5-7 business day cycle while coordinating financial operations across a distributed team, so this role carries real ownership from day one.
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting expertise with a builder’s mindset — someone who enjoys taking ownership and solving complex problems.
About the Team
The Accounting & Finance team is small, senior, and hands-on. We’re focused on creating accurate, efficient, and scalable accounting processes while delivering timely financial insights that support the business, and we work closely with FP&A, People, and Legal.
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll report directly to the Accounting Manager and act as the team’s hands-on execution partner, building the documentation and controls that let accounting scale alongside the business.
If you’re excited about building in a fast-moving environment, thrive on accountability, and want to help shape the future of the finance function, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
Within 3 months, you will:
Develop a strong understanding of Clutch’s business model, credit union client base, and month-end close process.
Own assigned balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries with accuracy and timeliness.
Become proficient in QuickBooks Online and our broader financial stack, including our Rippling integration.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
Own at least one full close cycle end-to-end, documenting the process, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.
Within 6 months, you will:
Take ownership of key general ledger areas, including the chart of accounts, prepaid asset schedules, and fixed asset/depreciation registers. You will become the primary accounting owner for assigned accounts and business processes.
Assist with technical accounting analyses, including revenue recognition under ASC 606.
Help improve and document accounting policies, close procedures, and internal controls, including materiality thresholds and expense limits.
Compile PBC lists, support audit requests, and act as a primary operational point of contact for external auditors during our financial statement audit.
Partner with FP&A and business stakeholders to improve financial reporting and operational insights, and coordinate monthly GL workflows with our distributed accounting team, reviewing their deliverables for accuracy and U.S. GAAP alignment.
Within 9 months, you will:
Serve as a trusted accounting partner across the organization, providing guidance on accounting impacts for new products, contracts, and business initiatives.
Lead process improvement projects that increase automation, scalability, and close speed.
Recommend and implement best practices to support a growth-stage business, including timely and accurate sales tax and annual tax reporting.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a high-performing accounting function prepared for continued growth.
What You’ll Bring
Must-haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA license (or active progress toward obtaining your CPA) strongly preferred.
3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years leading or co-leading a full-cycle month-end close.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition.
Hands-on ownership of general ledger accounts, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close.
Experience working in a venture-backed, fast-paced startup environment where priorities evolve quickly.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance accuracy and speed.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate accounting concepts clearly to both finance and non-finance partners.
A proactive mindset. You identify issues before they become problems and enjoy improving how work gets done.
Experience supporting a financial statement audit end-to-end, including PBC ownership and direct auditor interaction.
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (or a comparable ERP) and Excel/Google Sheets (reconciliations, models, lookups).
Nice-to-haves:
Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm).
Experience with Rippling, Sequence HQ, or similar modern fintech accounting tooling.
Exposure to lending, credit, or regulated financial services.
Familiarity with financial systems integrations and accounting automation tools.
Experience working in a company that has successfully scaled through multiple funding rounds.
Experience working with stock compensation, equity accounting, or other startup-specific accounting topics.
Please note that this role may evolve as our business needs change, so we appreciate your flexibility and adaptability.
What’s In It For You?
Remote Flexibility: Enjoy the freedom of remote work from anywhere, balancing life and career seamlessly.
Unforgettable Off-Sites: Twice a year, bond with colleagues in exciting destinations, fostering teamwork and fresh ideas.

A Note About AI at Clutch
We love AI. We use it often and encourage our team to creatively and effectively leverage AI tools in their work. If you join Clutch, we hope you'll bring the same enthusiasm for exploring how AI can amplify impact, productivity, and innovation.
That said, during the interview process, we want to hear your thoughts. Please approach interviews without the use of AI tools—our goal is to get to know how you think, solve problems, and communicate. Once you're in the seat, bring on the prompts!
Product Designer
About the Role
Clutch is expanding its design team. We're looking for a Product Designer to craft intuitive, human-centered experiences that power our lending and loan-application workflows.
This isn't surface-level screen design. You'll work across the full service — the borrower applying, the credit union employee processing the application, and the legacy systems and compliance steps in between. The wins here come from designing end-to-end processes, not just polishing individual screens: simplifying genuinely complex workflows, clarifying high-stakes financial information, and making every step feel effortless and trustworthy.
You'll move fast, own your work, and know when to drive a decision yourself versus when to pull in your PM and engineering partners. And you won't live only in Figma: our designers use AI to prototype, explore, and design — and to ship code for simpler features themselves. AI is core to how this team works and what we build, and we want someone eager to push that further.
About the Team
At Clutch, design isn't just a department — it's the driving force behind our mission. We believe a seamless user experience can empower credit unions to compete and offer superior banking to everyday people. By crafting intuitive experiences, we help credit unions guide their members toward financial freedom.
Our growing design team is fully remote in the U.S. and Brazil. It is diverse, collaborative, ambitious, and empowered to take on our company's biggest challenges.
What You’ll Do
Within 1 Month, you will:
Get oriented fast: Build a strong working understanding of Clutch's lending products, the borrower and operator journeys, and the compliance and legacy-system realities they sit inside, quickly enough to start contributing.
Build relationships and credibility: Establish yourself with the product managers, engineers, and credit union partners you'll work with, and start earning trust as a design leader on the team.
Get hands-on with AI: Ramp on Clutch's AI design tooling and practices, using AI to prototype and explore from week one.
Within 3 Months, you will:
Own a significant area end to end: Take a large, loosely-defined design project from discovery through delivery, defining the problem and scoping the work yourself.
Design & ship real flows: Lead design on a substantial piece of the loan-application experience, reducing friction for borrowers and operators alike.
Build, not just mock: Use AI to create working prototypes, and ship simpler production changes yourself in partnership with engineering.
Drive clarity through research: Run interviews, concept tests, and usability sessions to validate your decisions, and bring the insights back to your partners.
Within 6 Months, you will:
Think in systems: Map full workflows (handoffs, compliance touchpoints, edge cases) and design reusable, scalable patterns rather than one-off screens.
Own a critical, high-stakes workflow: Lead design end to end for a core part of the lending journey (e.g., intake or decisioning), including the ambiguity and cross-team dependencies that come with it.
Shape direction, not just execution: Bring research and data into roadmap and prioritization conversations, influencing what the team builds and why.
Raise the bar on team craft: Drive design critique, share what you're learning about AI-assisted workflows, and help improve process and documentation across the team.
Collaborate with judgment: Partner closely with PMs and engineers as a true thought partner, knowing when to run independently and when to bring partners in to turn user and business needs into production-ready designs.
What You’ll Bring
Experience: 6-8 years as a product designer, with a track record in fintech, SaaS, or other complex, workflow-heavy environments.
AI appetite and fluency: Genuinely excited about AI in design and already putting it to work, using AI to prototype, design, and ship simpler features rather than stopping at static Figma mockups. You'll help set the bar for how the team designs with AI.
Service and systems design: Designs confidently across an end-to-end process (multi-step flows, multiple user types like a borrower and a back-office operator, handoffs, and edge cases) and brings structure to ambiguous, loosely defined problem spaces.
Craft: Excellent visual and interaction design skills, setting a high bar for clear, elegant solutions to multi-step, data-heavy experiences.
User empathy: Skilled at uncovering user needs through research and turning them into design decisions, and at advocating for those needs in roadmap and prioritization conversations.
Partnership judgment: Works fluidly with PMs and engineers as a true thought partner, with strong instincts for when to move autonomously and when to pull partners in.
Autonomy and ownership: Can own large, ambiguous projects end to end, define the problem, scope the work, cut scope sensibly, and drive it to ship without close direction.
Influence and communication: Excellent storytelling, documentation, and presentation skills; explains both the design outcome and the reasoning, and shapes the thinking of partners and stakeholders around them.
Comfort with complexity: Patience and pragmatism working inside regulated workflows, legacy tooling, and real-world constraints, plus the temperament to find those problems interesting.
Elevates the team: Strengthens the craft around them through design critique, mentorship, and improvements to process and documentation.
Paid Time Off: Enjoy flexible PTO days yearly for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Stock Options: Joining us means having a stake in our success, so you'll receive stock options as part of your compensation package.
Home Office Setup: Create your ideal workspace with a dedicated budget for home office essentials.
Work Trip Budget: Grow personally and professionally with a budget for work-related trips and co-working.
Health Coverage: Prioritize your well-being with comprehensive health and dental insurance plans.
