Overview
Application
At Composio, we are building infrastructure that allows agents to communicate with the tools you use for work including Github, Gmail, Notion, Salesforce, etc. We raised a $25M Series A from Lightspeed with angels like Guillermo Rauch (CEO of Vercel), Dharmesh Shah (CTO of Hubspot), and Gokul Rajaram. We've 3x'd our ARR this year, and our customers range from your friends in the YC batch to Wabi, Glean, Zoom and many more.
About the role
We are looking for a QA Engineer who will own hands-on product quality across Composio's integrations, APIs, dashboards, and AI-agent workflows.
You will test new features before release, uncover edge cases that automated checks miss, improve regression coverage, and work closely with engineers to drive issues through resolution. This is a practical, execution-focused role for someone who enjoys breaking complex systems, clearly documenting what went wrong, and ensuring customers receive a reliable product.
This is a globally remote position, but you must work a full schedule aligned with the Pacific Time team.
What you'll work on
Own feature validation: Build test plans and validate new features from requirements through production release.
Test integrations and APIs: Verify authentication, API behavior, permissions, webhooks, retries, pagination, rate limits, error handling, and third-party dependencies.
Validate end-to-end workflows: Test complete customer journeys across the dashboard, SDKs, APIs, connectors, and agent workflows.
Perform exploratory testing: Find edge cases, unexpected interactions, and usability issues that are not covered by standard test cases.
Maintain regression coverage: Build and execute reliable regression suites for high-risk and frequently used product areas.
Test AI-native experiences: Evaluate tool-calling agents and other non-deterministic workflows where outputs may vary between executions.
Improve automation: Automate repeatable API, integration, and UI test cases where automation creates meaningful release confidence.
Investigate production issues: Reproduce customer-reported problems using logs, network traces, API responses, and production signals.
Drive defects to resolution: Write clear bug reports with reproduction steps, evidence, impact, severity, and expected behavior. Verify fixes and prevent regressions.
Strengthen release quality: Partner with engineers and product managers to identify risks, define acceptance criteria, and make informed release decisions.
Must haves
Quality engineering
Strong hands-on experience testing modern web applications, APIs, or developer products.
Excellent exploratory testing and debugging skills.
Ability to turn product requirements into structured test plans and high-value test cases.
Experience with functional, integration, API, end-to-end, and regression testing.
Strong understanding of defect severity, prioritization, release risk, and quality signoff.
APIs and integrations
Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Bruno, Insomnia, or equivalent.
Ability to reason about authentication, permissions, retries, webhooks, pagination, rate limits, asynchronous workflows, and eventual consistency.
Comfort using browser developer tools, logs, API payloads, and network traces to investigate failures.
Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to validate data when debugging an issue.
Automation
Ability to write or maintain automated tests using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or a similar language.
Familiarity with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, pytest, or equivalent frameworks.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated quality gates, flaky-test management, and regression coverage.
Ownership and communication
You take ownership of quality problems and drive them through resolution.
You write precise, reproducible bug reports and communicate risk clearly.
You can work independently in an ambiguous, fast-moving startup environment.
You collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, support teams, and other stakeholders.
You are consistently available and responsive during Pacific Time working hours.
Nice to have
Experience testing developer tools, SDKs, workflow automation products, or integration platforms.
Experience with OAuth, API keys, webhooks, and third-party application integrations.
Familiarity with AI agents, LLM evaluation, MCP, or tool-calling systems.
Experience testing across multiple browsers, devices, and operating systems.
Exposure to observability tools and production incident investigation.
Experience establishing QA practices or improving quality processes at an early-stage company.
What success looks like
Within your first few months, you will understand Composio's critical customer workflows, own validation for major releases, improve regression coverage, and help the engineering team catch high-impact issues before customers encounter them. Over time, you will make our releases faster and safer by combining thoughtful manual testing, targeted automation, and strong product judgment.

Overview
Application
At Composio, we are building infrastructure that allows agents to communicate with the tools you use for work including Github, Gmail, Notion, Salesforce, etc. We are a small team of engineers wrangling problems from context to search, that help us provide the most capable bridge between your agents and your tools.
We raised a $25M Series A from Lightspeed with some incredible angels like Guillermo Rauch (CEO of Vercel), Dharmesh Shah (CTO of Hubspot), Gokul Rajaram. Our customers range from your friends in the YC batch to Wabi, Glean, Zoom and many more.
We're hiring our developer-facing voice: someone technical enough to build the demo, and funny enough that people actually stop scrolling to watch it. You'll own how the AI community meets Composio.
What you'll do?
Build in public. Ship demos, prototypes, and technical content that show what's actually possible with Composio - across whatever format fits: X threads, short-form video, YouTube, a livestream, a podcast appearance. If it shows what agents plus tools can do, you make it, and you narrate it as you go.
Own our voice. Run our presence on X and LinkedIn, and grow your own account as a technical voice people in the AI community actually follow.
Show up in the real world. Represent Composio at SF meetups, hackathons, and developer conferences. Build genuine relationships with the people building agents, and share your learnings with the world.
Bias towards action. Ship the narrow, signal-generating version today - the post, the demo, the two-minute video - read what lands, then either double down or kill it. Don't wait for permission to try something.
Work across the company. Partner with product, engineering, and marketing to turn what you're hearing from developers into shipped product and better positioning.
What we're looking for
The hard-to-teach part is taste and timing: knowing what developers find genuinely cool versus what reads as marketing, and producing quality content developers actually want to engage with. Technical credibility is required - you build with our API and ship demos - but it's the foundation here, not what sets you apart. That part is the taste and the humor.
You can actually build. You've written real code, you can wire up an API and our SDK, and you can ship an interesting demo.
You genuinely like being public. Posting, filming, speaking, being on camera - this energizes you rather than drains you. You can make a technical thing legible and exciting to a scrolling developer.
Opinionated, with a high bar. You have strong views on what makes content good, and you hold yourself — and us — to them. You'd rather kill a mediocre post than ship it, and you'll push the whole company to be better too.
Comfortable across formats. You'd rather film a two-minute demo than write a press release. Text, video, audio, stage - you move between them without losing your voice.
AI-native. You build with LLMs and keep up with what's happening in the ecosystem.
Owner. You take a goal, decide what to make, ship it, measure whether it landed, and flex across all of the above - without waiting for a content calendar to tell you what to post.
Human. You build trust and admit what you don't know.
Strong preference for
Based in SF (or open to relocation)
An existing audience or a track record of building in public
Hands-on experience with agents, LLMs, MCP, and the modern AI dev stack
Bonus points
A presence in the AI community through open source, writing, or building in public

Enterprise Product sits where the hardest customer workflows become durable product. You will work directly with enterprise customers and FDE, turn ambiguous asks into product primitives, and ship the code that makes the next customer easier than the last.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
1. Turn large enterprise APIs into agent-usable tool surfaces: tool granularity, composite tools, descriptions, scopes, auth, and evals.
2. Productize repeated FDE work into self-service patching, QA harnesses, deployment paths, admin controls, docs, and guardrails.
3. Make enterprise deployments repeatable across hosted, VPC, on-prem, regulated, and BYOK environments.
4. Build the product layer that lets Composio scale from bespoke enterprise engagements to repeatable enterprise motion.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Own enterprise product surfaces end to end: discovery, spec, design, implementation, QA, release, adoption, and iteration.
• Ship production code across toolkits, SDKs, auth and scope flows, admin surfaces, deployment tooling, and customer-facing enterprise features.
• Work with FDE, customers, and core engineering to convert field pain into crisp product requirements and shipped primitives.
• Build evals and QA loops that prove enterprise workflows are reliable, not just demo-ready.
• Write the specs, docs, launch notes, and customer-facing updates that make the work easy to adopt.
"MUST HAVES"
if you are very good, nothing is a must per se
• Product-minded engineer: you turn messy workflows into clean product, then ship the code.
• Enterprise integration depth: OAuth, consent, scopes, service accounts, webhooks, rate limits, and strange API behavior do not scare you.
• Customer ownership: you can take a named customer or product surface from first conversation to live usage.
• AI native: you have built with language models, built for language models, and have opinions on agents, MCP, evals, and tool choice.
• Systems judgment: you think in rollout paths, rollback paths, security exposure, version skew, and maintainability.
• Clear writer: your specs, docs, and customer updates earn trust under deadline.
OPTIONAL
• Python in production; TypeScript a plus.
• API platform, iPaaS, developer tools, infra, or integration-heavy background.
• Prior FDE, solutions architect, sales engineer, or enterprise product engineering role.
• Kubernetes, Helm, Temporal, Postgres, Replicated, cloud secret managers, or packaged self-hosted delivery.
• Security and compliance exposure: SOC 2, Vanta-style programs, questionnaires, CVE triage, or RCAs.

the action layer for AI agents is the least-solved part of the stack. this role works at that frontier: embedded with the customers pushing hardest, turning open research questions into tools their agents use, shipping the code yourself.
THE FRONTIER YOU'LL WORK ON
• turning an 800-endpoint enterprise API into a tool surface a model can navigate. tool granularity, composite tools, description engineering, scope design. no textbook exists; you write it in production.
• building the evals that tell us an agent picked the right tool. the field has no good answer; your harnesses become ours.
• working directly with the engineers defining what agents can do, and feeding what breaks back into the product.
WHAT YOU'LL DO?
• own enterprise accounts end to end: discovery, spec, implementation, QA, release.
• ship production code in our toolkit monorepo and customer SDKs: custom and composite tools, schema and scope changes, per-customer patches.
• turn large enterprise APIs into agent-usable tool surfaces, and build the evals that prove the model picks the right tool.
• QA toolkits, and build the harnesses that make QA repeatable instead of artisanal.
• run weekly customer syncs: the summaries, ETAs, and escalations that keep an engagement coherent.
• operate per-customer tool-patching as self-service, not escalation.
• dogfood Composio on your own workflows.
"MUST HAVES"
if you are very good, nothing is a must per-se
• applied integration engineering
– you ship production code, not demos.
– you live in enterprise APIs and auth: OAuth 2.0, consent models, scope design, multi workspace tokens. you know the edge cases from scars.
– you make architecture calls under pressure and defend them to a customer's principal engineers.
• customer technical ownership
– you've taken a named enterprise account from first call to live.– you turn vague asks into specs, and push back when the ask is wrong.
• ai native
– you have built with the language models.
– you have built for the language models, and treat the agent-tool interface as an open research problem.
• taste - finger feel for good developer experience.
• typist - you explain complex ideas clearly under deadline.
• human - you build trust and admit what you don't know.
OPTIONAL
• years of Python in production (Typescript a plus).
• API platform, iPaaS, or integration-heavy background.
• prior FDE / solutions-architect role selling to big tech.
• frontier output: MCP servers, tool-use evals, agent-tooling writeups.

strong written communication and operating cadence: crisp recaps, useful QBRs, clean escalation notes, and no loose threads
builder mindset: you are excited to create the first CS systems instead of inheriting mature ones

Our go-to-market motion is working, but too much of it still runs on instinct and tribal knowledge. As Composio's first dedicated RevOps hire, you will build the revenue system underneath it: clean data, tight processes, the right tooling, and visibility for fast decisions.
What you'll do?
own CRM architecture, data model, hygiene standards, custom objects, automation, and integrations across the GTM stack
build pipeline reporting and forecasting dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into what is coming and why
select, administer, and connect GTM tooling across sequencing, enrichment, intent data, routing, attribution, and AI-assisted outreach
design lead routing, scoring, and SLA frameworks so every inbound lead gets to the right rep at the right time with the right context
partner with sales leadership on territory design, quota setting, and compensation plan modeling
document and operationalize sales stages, exit criteria, and handoffs from first touch to close
build onboarding and enablement infrastructure that helps new GTM hires ramp faster
serve as the connective layer between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product on pipeline and revenue data
"Must haves"
if you are very good, nothing is a must per-se
3-6 years in RevOps, Sales Ops, or GTM Ops, ideally at a high-growth SaaS or developer-tools company at the Series A-C stage
deep CRM expertise: you have built a data model from scratch, not just maintained one someone handed you
strong analytical instincts: comfortable in SQL or BI tools, able to build a forecast model in a spreadsheet and a Salesforce report in the same afternoon
hands-on experience with modern GTM tooling such as Clay, Apollo, Gong, Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalents
experience supporting the full customer lifecycle: marketing handoff, sales process, post-sale expansion, renewals, and reporting
ability to translate ambiguity into process without burying the team in process theater
high trust operator: clean data, clear docs, fast follow-through, and strong judgment around what actually matters

We are at an inflection point: strong inbound demand, a product that is winning, and a sales motion that is just beginning to be formalized. This is a founding role for someone who can build the BDR function from scratch as a hands-on operator, not just a manager.
What you'll do?
own the BDR function end-to-end: strategy, process, tooling, hiring, and day-to-day execution
carry a personal pipeline quota in addition to team targets - lead from the front, not the whiteboard
build and iterate the outbound playbook: ICP definition, sequencing, messaging, channel mix, and account prioritization
hire, onboard, and develop BDRs; create the hiring bar, ramp program, and performance framework from scratch
partner with Marketing to turn content, events, and intent signals into pipeline quickly
work with Account Executives to define qualified opportunities and keep handoffs tight
