About Concourse
Concourse builds AI agents for corporate finance teams.
We connect core enterprise data sources and deploy AI agents that can analyze the data through natural language, deliver insights in seconds, and enable our customers to make better decisions. Since launching less than a year ago, Concourse has grown extremely rapidly. Our AI agents are deployed across hundreds of high-growth companies, unicorn startups like Persona, Front, Lightmatter, and large public companies - including multiple Fortune 500 customers.
Concourse is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, CRV, YC, Standard Capital, and 50+ angel investors from companies like OpenAI, Cursor, Vercel, Brex, Carta, Rippling, 1Password, Deel, Jeeves, and DoorDash.
About the Role
We're hiring a Founding Designer, the person who will own and elevate how Concourse looks, feels, and works for the finance teams that rely on it every day.
You'll join a team that already ships great product and cares deeply about design, and you'll raise the bar across every surface. Working directly with our founders, designers, and engineers, you'll take our product experience and visual identity to the next level, bringing sharper craft, stronger intuition, and real design leadership as we scale.
This is a high-ownership role. You'll drive design decisions, shape the product, and define what Concourse looks like as a company, not just execute on someone else's vision. If you're a strong, hungry designer who wants to lead, grow fast, and do the best work of your career; this is your seat.
Key Responsibilities
Product Design
Own the end-to-end product design process — from early concept and user flows through wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and polished final specs
Work closely with engineering and product to ship experiences that are fast, intuitive, and delightful — balancing craft with velocity
Contribute to and help evolve Concourse's design system in Figma, raising consistency and quality as the product grows
Translate complex financial data and AI-powered workflows into interfaces that feel simple and powerful for our users
Incorporate customer feedback and user research into design decisions continuously
Brand & Visual Identity
Own Concourse's visual identity across key touchpoints — website, marketing assets, decks, social, and beyond
Design compelling materials that help prospects, customers, and investors understand and feel excited about what Concourse is building
Partner with GTM and founders to bring Concourse's brand narrative to life visually
Design Leadership
Set a high design standard and be the person the team looks to for taste, quality, and creative direction
Move fast without sacrificing quality — you know when to go deep and when to ship
Help strengthen design culture and ways of working with engineering as the team grows
About You
3-6 years of product design experience, ideally at a fast-moving startup or high-bar tech company
World-class Figma skills, working fast, staying organized, and producing specs that engineers love to build from
Strong product instincts, thinking about flows, edge cases, and user psychology, not just how things look
A portfolio that shows range: complex product UI, clean visual design, and an eye for detail that is immediately obvious
Hungry, opinionated, and high-ownership, excited to lead and elevate, not just execute
Comfortable working in ambiguity and energized by the opportunity to make a real mark on a product
Strong communicator who can articulate design decisions clearly to founders, engineers, and non-designers alike
Experience designing data-heavy or enterprise products (preferred but not required)
Comfortable technically or with vibe coding, the more technical the better (preferred but not required)
Why You Should Join Us
Joining Concourse is an incredible opportunity to get in at the ground level of a high-growth, category-defining AI company. Every person we hire meaningfully shapes the product, culture, and trajectory of the business, and we compensate accordingly with top-of-market salary and equity.
You'll have a high degree of ownership from day one. We move fast, build aggressively, and operate with very little bureaucracy. You'll work directly with the founders and founding team, ship impactful work weekly, and play a core role in scaling the company.
We're in person 5 days a week in our new NYC HQ in Flatiron, where we collaborate tightly, iterate quickly, and build an environment that's both high-energy and deeply focused. We believe the best work, and the fastest learnings, happen together.
We care about your growth. You'll get direct mentorship, opportunities to stretch into new skills across engineering, AI, and GTM, and the support of a team that wants you to succeed. This is a place to accelerate your career, build your brand, and make an outsized impact.

Don't See Your Role? Let's Talk.
We're always looking for exceptional people who want to help build Concourse. If you don't see a role that fits but believe you can make a significant impact on our team, we want to hear from you!
We're particularly interested in people with expertise in finance, engineering, AI/LLM development, product, sales, operations, or growth. Concourse is transforming how companies interact with financial data, and if you think your experience and skillset can help us achieve this mission, we would love to hear from you.
What We're Looking For
High ownership mentality: You've started a company, been an early employee, or want to someday. You operate independently and take full ownership of outcomes.
Relevant expertise: You bring deep experience in an area that could add significant value to Concourse—whether that's technical, operational, or domain-specific.
Startup mentality: You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. You're scrappy, resourceful, and comfortable figuring things out as you go.
Drive and passion: You want to do some of the best work of your career and have the energy to crush goals in a small, high-performing team.
