Your Role
You are an experienced analytics engineer who knows your way around clinical and electronic health record data. Your primary responsibility is to build, maintain, and optimize the transformation layer of our ELT pipeline, turning raw, messy clinical data into clean, well-modeled, analysis-ready datasets that our clients and internal teams can trust. You will own the full lifecycle of our data models: designing and implementing transformation logic, enforcing data quality and testing standards, optimizing pipeline performance, and documenting data models so they're discoverable and understandable across the organization. You will use your data expertise, programming abilities, and critical thinking skills to support our technical product team in scaling and growing our ability to provide meaningful data. Your team’s ultimate goal is to deliver the highest-quality data possible to our clients, who are building products that improve patient health. You will report to the Data Science Manager, under the Chief Data Officer.
In this role, you will be responsible for:

Developing and maintaining data transformation pipelines using dbt and Snowflake, ensuring data quality, lineage, and transparency.
Harmonizing multimodal data from multiple health systems into a unified ontological layer ready for use by data scientists and AI developers, with input from clinical experts across the company.
Performing complex data extraction, manipulation, and summarization of large databases to create analytical data models;
Implementing data quality tests, CI/CD and version control best practices for analytics codebases throughout the data modeling pipeline.
Supporting software engineers in optimizing processes and technical solutions for de-identification and ETL of clinical data from disparate health system cloud environments to Dandelion Health’s data warehouse.
Working with experts in natural language processing (NLP) to structure and model discrete clinical concepts data that have been abstracted from unstructured and semi-structured text data.
Collaborating with technical and clinical subject matter experts and Dandelion customers to translate research and model requirements into engineering solutions.
You are not afraid to dig into massive, confusing, disorganized new datasets and get them under control. You are excited to learn new environments, languages, and skills. This is a small, early stage company with enormous ambitions and everyone pitches in across the team.

Your Role
This is Dandelion’s first dedicated marketing hire. Our space is scientifically dense, deeply valuable, and genuinely difficult to communicate. You’ll be building the marketing engine from the ground up - owning our content strategy, product launches, field presence, and thought leadership output. You’ll work directly with Elliott, our CEO, to translate his vision and Dandelion’s mission into stories that resonate with pharma, biotech, and life sciences audiences.
This is a broad generalist role. Brand identity and website are handled by an external partner. Your job is everything else: coordinating the marketing calendar, running the content operation, managing events and conference presence, and supporting product launches as our use-case portfolio expands.
If you are a sharp strategic marketer who loves complex problems, is genuinely curious about healthcare AI, and knows how to operate with leverage using modern tools - this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
Product Marketing
Develop and own Dandelion’s messaging framework - translating a complex multimodal data platform into compelling narratives for life sciences, pharma, and health system audiences
Lead go-to-market strategy for new product and use-case launches in partnership with product and commercial teams
Create and maintain sales collateral, one-pagers, case studies, and demo materials
Content & Thought Leadership
Build and manage a content calendar spanning LinkedIn posts, blog articles, scientific communications, and newsletter content
Collaborate closely with Elliott to develop and amplify his thought leadership voice across channels
Commission and edit content that speaks to both business buyers and scientific/clinical audiences
Field Marketing & Events
Own Dandelion’s presence at industry conferences, clinical AI events, and life sciences summits - from selection through logistics and follow-up
Coordinate PR opportunities, media pitches, and speaker application submissions
Track the industry calendar and proactively identify high-leverage event opportunities
Marketing Operations
Manage the marketing calendar, coordinate inputs across the organization, and ensure consistent execution
Leverage AI tools to amplify output - content generation, event discovery, competitive monitoring, and reporting
Work with the external brand agency to ensure consistency across all produced materials
About You
5–8 years of marketing experience with an emphasis on product marketing
Experience at a B2B startup or scale-up, ideally in life sciences, digital health, healthcare IT, or data platforms
Proven ability to build narratives for complex, technical products - and translate them for non-technical buyers
Excellent writer with the ability to adapt voice and style for scientific, business, and general audiences
AI-native: you use AI tools as a core part of your workflow, not an experiment
Comfortable operating as a team of one while coordinating inputs from across an organization
Familiarity with life sciences, pharma, or healthcare - you don’t need a PhD, but you shouldn’t need us to explain what a clinical trial is
Strong organizational skills and a bias for structured systems - you can own a marketing calendar without losing threads
Team Benefits
Remote work and flexible hours. Availability needed for meetings, which we try to keep to a healthy minimum

Develop code and documentation to deliver high-quality and HIPAA-compliant data products on time to clients;
Identify and resolve problems using your knowledge, background, and troubleshooting skills;
Ensure accuracy, data integrity, and validity of data and analysis in all work;
Provide support for technical product team to advance development of the suite of data-related product offerings;
Summarize HEOR findings and recommendations into clear explanations and presentations for internal and external audiences that have a varying range of technical and clinical experience;
Keep abreast of AI, HEOR, and therapeutic area advances in the US, collaborating with the Growth and Product teams to improve our study definitions and methodologies in relation to these trends.
You are not afraid to dig into massive, confusing, disorganized new datasets and get them under control. You are excited to learn new environments, languages, and skills. This is a small, early stage company with enormous ambitions and everyone pitches in across the team.
Qualifications and Skills
Advanced degree in a relevant field (ex. Health Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Computational Modeling, Statistics) with at least 2 years of work experience in an applied setting;
At least 2 years of experience in applying health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics, or related research methodology to design, plan, and conduct HEOR modeling and RWE studies;
