Job Description A bit about this role: As Director of Clinical Operations and Innovation, you will be a key strategic and operational leader driving Devoted Medical’s organization-wide efforts to deliver best-in-class clinical outcomes. You will own and drive outstanding performance on core preventative care and clinical outcomes for our members, such as cancer screenings, diabetic eye exam, and kidney function testing. Questions you may find solutions to include: How do we screen hundreds of thousands of members for depression and ensure appropriate follow up care in a resource efficient way? What barriers do members face in completing breast cancer screening? Which barriers does Devoted Medical have the unique ability to influence and how should we influence them? How do we optimize every Devoted touchpoint with members to ensure that they are empowered to complete life-saving preventive screenings? Sitting at the unique intersection of technology, clinical excellence, and member experience, you will translate enterprise quality goals into scalable engagement strategies, tech-enabled workflows, and high-impact clinical interventions. You will report to the Senior Director of Preventive Health with high visibility across executive leadership. You will identify and shape opportunities to improve member health outcomes at scale, drive innovations that accelerate performance, and partner with frontline teams to translate strategy into reality. Responsibilities and Impact will include: Strategy & Innovation. Design organization-wide strategies across a portfolio of clinical outcome metrics to deliver exceptional member care at scale. You will identify innovative opportunities to eliminate friction points along members’ healthcare journeys, empowering them to achieve their healthiest lives. Excellent Cross-Functional Execution: Manage performance against operating KPIs and clinical outcomes metrics. Partner with Clinical, Member Experience, Product, Technology, and front line teams to design and implement solutions that improve clinical and care coordination interventions. You will translate goals into actionable strategies, and guide initiatives from pilot phase through full-scale implementation across our member population. Results-Driven Performance & Insight. Leverage data to determine drivers of performance and performance variability. Your role is to help the organization distinguish between signal and noise so that we achieve our targets and understand the underlying mechanics driving that success. You will create frameworks that enable evidence-based decisions and spearhead initiatives to resolve barriers to performance. Servant Leadership. Drive execution through a blend of direct management and leadership through influence, operating with a true servant-leader mindset that prioritizes enabling, unblocking, and supporting frontline teams. You will translate complex operational goals into daily workflows that set our teams - and our members- up for success. Required skills and experience: 6+ years of experience in high-ownership operator roles driving performance improvement in complex, regulated, or high-stakes environments through data-driven approaches (i.e. developing metrics & targets, analyzing trends, driving performance improvement, reporting outcomes). Scrappy execution & fast cycles. You are a self-starter who prefers progress over perfection. You are willing to roll up your sleeves to fix a process manually today while architecting the automated solution for tomorrow. You thrive in environments where you need to move fast and adapt quickly. Strong analytical thinking and toolkit. You are comfortable building sophisticated models to size opportunities and evaluate experiments. You have experience leveraging business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and possess the ability to "think in algorithms” regarding multi-step, probabilistic processes. Demonstrated leadership impact and collaborative excellence, with experience successfully influencing outcomes across organizational levels—whether through direct management, cross-functional project leadership, or matrix reporting relationships that require building consensus without formal authority. You are energized by working with diverse backgrounds, and deeply motivated by helping our front line teams do their best work and members achieve their best, healthiest lives. Outstanding communication skills with the ability to distill complex operational and clinical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences. Operational architect. A track record of refining complex workflows. You can map out cross-functional processes and identify structural improvements to drive key results. Desired skills and experience: Experience learning quickly in complex operational domains. We value candidates with experience mastering intricate subject matter quickly, whether inside or outside of healthcare. AI explorations. Curiosity about emerging technologies and a pragmatic approach to using them. Experience using LLMs to build complex prompts and tools is a strong plus. Skill and rigor in using and analyzing data. You understand the pitfalls of metrics (e.g., how open vs. closed periods affect data, or how denominators shift over time). You are comfortable thinking in ranges and probabilities rather than false precision, and you can distinguish between a metric changing and the underlying reality changing. Job Description A bit about this role: We're seeking an experienced Stock Plan Administrator to own Devoted's equity plan operations. This role will develop, build, and run a best-in-class company equity plan function for the long term — one that's accurate, compliant, and easy for all shareholders (and especially employees) to navigate as we grow. You'll administer our stock option program day to day, ensure we have tools and processes to scale, inform our employee equity compensation strategy, provide education, and support shareholder liquidity as our equity program evolves. You'll partner closely with teams across People, Legal, Accounting, Tax, Payroll, and other Finance operations, and serve as the definitive owner of the equity plan function — building the processes, controls, and documentation that scale with our investor cap table, potential transaction activity, and headcount while supporting and informing the full range of equity plan compensation activity across a growing private company. This role will report to the VP of Corporate Finance. Your Responsibilities and Impact will include: Oversee daily equity plan operations in Carta, including grant processing, option exercises, cancellations, repurchases, and cap table management. Evaluate equity administration tools and lead implementation of new solutions. Manage monthly and quarterly equity reconciliations and reporting. Administer employee equity plan transactions accurately and compliantly, including any liquidity events the Company may offer, from planning through employee communications and settlement. Build and optimize processes for equity plan transactions, particularly option exercises, while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support the development of equity plan tax policies and procedures in partnership with Accounting, Tax, Legal, and Payroll. Design and document standard operating procedures and strong internal controls for all equity plan operations, including audit support. Manage the 409A valuation process and cadence in collaboration with Legal and Accounting, and its downstream effects on grants, exercises, and liquidity events. Lead HRIS and payroll system integrations to streamline equity plan operations and eliminate manual reconciliation. Develop automated processes for tax withholding calculations and payroll integration, including withholding on liquidity events. Create scalable workflows that support our growing headcount over a multi-year private horizon. Coordinate equity plan tax calculations and timely, accurate withholding and reporting with Payroll (including Forms 3921/3922 and W-2 treatment). Support the introduction of new instruments such as RSUs (including appropriate vesting design for a private company) as the program evolves. Provide high-touch guidance and support to managers and employees on equity-related questions — helping them understand their equity, from grants and vesting to exercises, secondaries, taxes, and payroll impacts. Manage the equity-related information verification from non-employee shareholders including, but not limited to, audit requests, shareholding confirmations, and 409a value verification. Required skills and experience: 8+ years in equity plan administration, stock plan management, or a related field. Hands-on administrator-level experience with Carta; experience with Shareworks and other platforms is a plus. Strong knowledge of equity compensation principles and their tax treatment, including stock options (ISOs and NSOs) and RSUs, and the accounting treatment and execution experience of various private company liquidity events. Proficiency with payroll systems integration and tax withholding processes. A detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to both consult subject matter experts on bespoke equity issues across legal, tax, accounting, and payroll and explain complex equity concepts to employees in plain language. Desired skills and experience: A Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation. Experience at a high-growth private company with a wide shareholder base. Hands-on experience administering private company liquidity events. Experience evaluating different forms of employee equity, introducing a new instrument, and managing it on an ongoing basis post-introduction (e.g., evaluating and introducing RSUs to an options-focused employee equity program). Knowledge of US and international equity compensation and tax requirements. Familiarity with ASC 718 stock-based compensation and internal controls. Excellent project management skills with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives. Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with modeling. Salary Range: $110,000 - $194,000 annually base plus annual cash bonus The pay range listed for this position is the range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting.
