We're prioritizing building our team with an in-person culture at our offices in Paris, San Francisco, and New York because we value the magic that happens when talented people work closely together.
We have an office-first culture. Some of the best things about building at Dust are the energy, the fast decisions, and the unexpected conversations that unlock a hard problem, which happen because we are in the same room. Being together is not a formality, it is how we do our best work, and it is something we actively protect.
That said, we hire people with strong judgement and we extend that trust to how they manage their time. When working from home makes more sense for what you need to get done that day, we trust you to make that call.
Why Dust
The models are powerful enough. What's missing is the product layer where AI meets how companies actually work. That's what we're building: the infrastructure that lets any team turn scattered knowledge and tools into coordinated execution with agents they build, own, and run themselves.
We use Dust ourselves every day. We get to shape how humans and agents collaborate while solving our own problems with the product we ship. That loop is rare, and it's why we move fast.
If you're excited about defining a new category and want to join a determined team of optimists who focus on users, ship fast, and don't take themselves too seriously, we'd love to talk.
Even if you don't check every box in our requirements, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and backgrounds, and we're more interested in your potential and passion than a perfect match to our checklist.

AI Support Engineer Lead (US)
About Dust
Work is being rewritten, and the people holding the pen are the ones who actually run it.
With enterprise-grade governance, flexible model choice, and a collaborative interface for humans and agents to work together, Dust empowers AI Operators at the world’s fastest-moving companies to rewire how work gets done.
With 70%+ weekly active users, people stick with Dust as much as they do with Slack and Notion. We don't get piloted and shelved. We land once, and spread. We're at an exciting stage of our journey, and growing fast.
We're serving great customers like Datadog, 1Password, Cursor, Clay, Vanta and Persona, and aim to x5 our growth by the end of 2026.
Dust is backed by Sequoia with a determined team of optimists (coming from Stripe, OpenAI, and Stanford) who like to focus on users, ship fast, and don't take themselves too seriously while doing so. The Generalist named us among the Future 50.
Summary
At Dust, we're coining the term AI Operator: someone who rethinks and rebuilds company processes around AI. Not "how can AI help us do this faster?" but "if AI existed from day one, would we even do this the same way?"
The AI Support Engineer applies this mindset to Support. You'll split your time between running support (handling complex issues when agents fall short) and building the AI systems that reduce that workload over time. Support at Dust is not a cost center, it's a product. Success is measured by eliminating categories of tickets, not just resolving them.
You will define, ship, and continuously iterate on the infrastructure that lets Dust deliver a world-class support experience at scale: AI agents, automation workflows, classification systems, knowledge systems, and tooling built on top of Dust itself. You will dogfood the product harder than almost anyone at the company.
We're hiring depending on your experience and technical depth. You'll be an experienced support engineer ready to build systems at scale, we want to hear from you.
What you'll do
Build the AI systems that do the work
Set the technical direction for the support stack: what gets automated, in what order, and to what standard. You make the calls, not just the builds.
Design, ship, and maintain AI agents and automation workflows that reduce manual support load: think ticket classification, acknowledgment automation, response drafting, incident detection, and proactive user outreach.
Identify recurring categories of issues and engineer them out of existence through automation, documentation, prompt iteration, or product feedback.
Build and maintain tooling (MCP integrations, Dust agents, internal scripts) that increase the team's capacity without increasing headcount.
Define and own the "Support as a Product" backlog. You decide what goes on it, coach the team to execute it, and hold the bar on what shipped means.
Run support when the systems fall short
Hire, onboard, and develop the support engineers around you. You're not just resolving tickets and building systems, you're growing the people who will.
Set the standard for how complex issues get handled at Dust. You take the hardest tickets yourself. The team knows what good looks like because they've watched you do it.
Investigate complex issues across logs, code, and internal tooling to identify root causes and provide clear answers to customers.
Handle escalated cases with precise, accessible communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Systematically analyze agent-generated responses for inconsistencies and iterate on prompts, documentation, and tooling until human intervention is minimal.
Bridge customer pain to product improvements
Represent support at the engineering and product level. You synthesize signal, prioritize it, and push it through with enough context that it actually moves things, not just relays it.
Build strong working relationships with engineers and customer-facing teams to ensure efficient, high-context escalations.
Own the feedback loop end-to-end: when agents fail due to missing or incorrect information, close the gap across engineering, product, and documentation.
Requirements
Every candidate and employee's success is measured against the same 3 dimensions: Aptitude, Attitude and Agency.
Aptitude
Function-building experience: You've defined or significantly shaped a support engineering function before: built the operating model, set the standards, hired into the team, or rebuilt a broken process from scratch.
High technical aptitude: comfortable reading code, analyzing logs, navigating codebases, and troubleshooting distributed systems. You're not stopped by a stack trace.
AI fluency at builder level: track record of building custom agents, automations, or workflows using AI tools (Dust, Cursor, Claude Code, n8n, etc.); not just prompting.
Exceptional prioritization: You know what to solve immediately, what to automate, what to escalate, and, critically, what to delegate and to whom. You make these calls for yourself and for the team, fast and without second-guessing.
People development instincts: You've coached and grown engineers before, even informally. You know how to give feedback that sticks and create conditions where people do their best work.
Bidirectional communication: can translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and speak technical language fluently with engineers.
Interest in or experience with a Build/Run split: Whether you've already operated this way or you're excited to learn this approach, you see support as more than ticket resolution.
Attitude
Builder mentality: You instinctively automate repetitive work rather than accepting inefficient systems, and you hold your team to the same standard.
Resilience-empathy paradox: You can absorb customer frustration without taking it personally while still deeply caring about the user experience.
Leads by example: You're not above the queue. When something is hard, you take it.
Exceptional prioritization: You know what to solve immediately, what to automate, and what to escalate.
Thrives in ambiguity: You enjoy building systems from scratch in environments where many processes are still undefined.
Low ego, team player: You share knowledge freely and care about the success of the broader team.
Agency
High ownership: You define what needs to be done as often as you execute it. You don't wait for someone to tell you the function has a gap.
Systems-first thinking: You focus on eliminating categories of work, not simply resolving tickets faster. You hold yourself and the team accountable to that distinction.
Pattern recognition to repeatability: You turn recurring issues into scalable systems, automations, workflows, or documentation that eliminate future occurrences.
Deep investigation instincts: You investigate as far as possible before escalating, providing engineering teams with thoughtful, high-context information when collaboration is needed, and you coach the team to do the same.
Even if you don’t meet every requirement above, we still encourage you to apply. We care deeply about curiosity, potential, and determination, and we know exceptional people don’t always fit neatly into a checklist.
Benefits & Compensation
Competitive compensation based on level and experience
$240,000 - $350,000
Significant equity package at a Sequoia-backed startup
Health benefits for you and your dependents

Creative Director

Dust is backed by Sequoia with a determined team of optimists (coming from Stripe, OpenAI, and Stanford) who like to focus on users, ship fast, and don't take themselves too seriously while doing so. The Generalist named us among the Future 50.
TLDR
As the Creative Director you will define how Dust shows up in the world, from our website and product launches to campaigns, events, video, and the visual systems that make our brand promise compelling and our product narrative credible. As an AI company, we expect our brand to be built the AI-native way: fast, systematic, and unmistakably ours.
What you'll own
Brand system & identity
Set the direction for Dust's visual identity: motion, illustration, typography, video style, and brand guidelines. Make it differentiating and memorable. Keep it enterprise-credible.
Creative execution
Lead creative direction across every major output: website, product launches, campaigns, events, GTM and sales assets, social. Flex between brand and product storytelling work. Own the visual language for launch moments and make IRL brand experiences feel like a high-integrity signal, not a booth.
Creative operations
Create the operating model for brand design at Dust: intake, prioritization, review, and standards. Build and manage the network of freelancers and agencies that lets a small team punch above its weight. Our ambition is to grow a small, world-class creative team around this role, working closely with our Paris-based product design team and contractor network.
Scale creative with AI
Define and own a brand system that lets the team (and AI tools) produce high-quality, on-brand assets at speed — codifying our visual identity into documented guidelines, templates, and reusable components so lower-lift work (landing pages, social, blog and event graphics, slides) can be created consistently without a designer touching every execution.
Your first 6 months
First weeks: Immerse in the brand, the product, and the team. Audit current assets and identify the highest-leverage gaps. Start building a network of freelancers and agencies.
By month 3: Lead creative direction on the updated website — the most visible expression of Dust's value proposition as we grow.
By month 6: Refresh and build on brand guidelines — aligning video and motion style with core identity, covering illustration, iconography, and photographic direction.
Who you are
You’re a visual storyteller. You've led brand or creative work where the narrative came first and the visual system was built to serve it.
You have exceptional taste and can defend your preferences, and you also know how to align your instincts to the direction of the brand and product.
You're hands-on. You make things. You can art-direct a video, push pixels on a landing page, and give a freelancer the right brief — all in the same week.
You're AI-fluent. You treat AI as a core part of the creative toolkit, not a threat to craft. You're already using AI intentionally in your own design and production workflow, and you're excited to build systems that let a small team punch far above its weight. (Bonus: experience building brand or design systems, template libraries, or prompt-driven workflows that let non-designers self-serve on-brand work.)
You've built or scaled a creative function. You've hired designers, set standards, and created the systems that let a small team punch above its weight.
You have a point of view on the market. You understand what resonates with AI-mature buyers and technical decision-makers, and you can make Dust feel culturally magnetic to them.
You can work across Paris and the US. Most of the company is still based in Paris, while the US team is growing across New York and San Francisco. You need to be proactive, clear in writing, and comfortable pushing work forward across time zones.
You've worked at or deeply admire companies with strong brand craft — Airbnb, Webflow, Intercom, Linear, Anthropic, or their equivalent. You know what great looks like and you've shipped it.
Nice to have
Experience building or refreshing a visual identity for a fast-growing technology company.
Experience working with founders on brand, narrative, launch moments, or executive presence.
A strong network of creative collaborators across motion, video, production, photography, illustration, web, and experiential work.
Experience designing interactive web experiences, motion systems, or product-led storytelling.
Messaging, content strategy, or campaign strategy depth. This is a bonus, not the core requirement.
What we offer
A front-row seat at one of the most interesting companies in AI right now - early enough for real equity upside, late enough for proven PMF.
A small, candid, low-ego team that takes the work seriously without taking themselves too seriously.
In a beautiful SoHo office ( NYC) with a team that genuinely wants to be together.
Competitive salary and meaningful equity.
Health insurance for you and your dependents
New MacBook Pro or Linux machine, monitor, keyboard, etc.
The opportunity to travel to Paris multiple times a year

Summary
We’re looking for a Technical Product Marketer to make the value of Dust undeniable through product storytelling.
Your job is to show, not tell, the value of Dust through demo videos, product walkthroughs, and high-quality assets that work across the funnel, from awareness to activation. You’ll turn complex, powerful product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that make Dust’s value immediately tangible to prospects and users.
You bring technical curiosity, narrative judgment, hands-on product fluency, and excellent taste. You can move fluidly across formats, whether that puts you in front of the camera or behind the edit. And you understand that the best demo isn’t a feature tou, it’s a story that makes the value click.
What you'll do
Shape how the product is understood
Turn complex product capabilities into clear narratives that resonate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Partner closely with Engineering and Design to stay ahead of the roadmap and identify the strongest stories behind new capabilities.
Define how features, workflows, and use cases should be demoed across launches, campaigns, and sales.
Own the demo environment, keeping it current, polished, and ready for any audience or context.
Own demo and product content production
Build and maintain a high-quality library of demo videos across use cases, personas, and stages of the customer journey.
Produce product walkthroughs, explainer, launch videos, and short-form assets that show Dust in action.
Take assets from initial concept through scripting, production, and final delivery.
Set and maintain a high creative bar: every asset should make the product’s value immediately clear and uphold Dust’s brand.
Scale launches, growth, and activation
Proactively produce assets for feature launches so that strong product storytelling is built into the launch process from the start.
Produce scalable content that can be reused across channels and customer touch points.
Create reusable templates, systems, and production workflows that help the marketing team move faster without sacrificing quality.
Partner cross-functionally to adapt core product stories for different audiences and needs.
Requirements
Must-have
4–6 years of experience product marketing, solutions engineering, or a related role with a strong portfolio of demo videos and product assets
Ability to independently produce high-quality demo and explainer videos without relying on dedicated production resources
Strong product intuition: you can quickly learn a complex product, identify what matters, and find the right angle that makes it land
Excellent storytelling skills and a clear understanding of the difference between showing features and telling a compelling product story
Proficiency with screen recording, video editing, and design tools such as Screen Studio, After Effects, Jitter, Figma, or equivalent; motion graphics experience is a plus
Deep fluency with AI tools: you use them actively and can demonstrate an AI product with credibility because they are already part of how you work
Nice-to-have
Experience at a product-led growth or developer tools company where the product itself is central to the marketing
Background in engineering, product, or design
Familiarity with building demo environments or sandbox accounts for sales/marketing use
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive compensation based on experience
Significant equity package in a Sequoia-backed startup
Health insurance for you and your dependents
New MacBook Pro or Linux machine, monitor, keyboard, etc.

Founder's Office (US)
Summary
The Founder's Office at Dust exists to increase the operating leverage of the company during a period of hypergrowth.
This role is designed for high-agency problem solvers who want to work on the company's highest-priority initiatives. You'll operate across operations, GTM, recruiting, customer work, partnerships, and strategic projects, stepping into ambiguous situations and driving them forward with speed and judgment.
Some projects may last a day. Others may become entire functions.
You'll work closely with senior leadership, gain unusually high exposure to how a fast-growing AI company operates, and help scale the systems, processes, and decisions that matter most.
This is not a traditional strategy role, and it is not an assistant role. We are looking for people who thrive in ambiguity, move quickly, take ownership naturally, and enjoy building where structure does not yet exist.
What You'll Do
Own high-priority initiatives that do not yet have a clear long-term owner
Drive cross-functional projects across operations, GTM, recruiting, partnerships, and customer work
Identify operational bottlenecks and help resolve them quickly and effectively
Improve how the company executes by building lightweight systems, processes, and operating cadences
Help leadership translate priorities and decisions into execution
Step into ambiguous situations, create structure quickly, and drive momentum
Operate with high context across the company and connect dots across teams
Take on increasing scope and ownership as the company scales
Example Projects
Projects may include:
launching a new operational or GTM motion
supporting strategic customer initiatives
improving recruiting and interview operations
coordinating executive offsites or field events
driving follow-through on company priorities
building internal systems that improve execution speed and visibility
Requirements
Every candidate and employee's success is measured against the same 3 dimensions. Aptitude, Attitude and Agency.
Aptitude
You are highly analytical and structured in how you think
You can synthesize incomplete information quickly and identify what matters most
You communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
You learn new domains extremely quickly
You exercise strong judgment without requiring heavy oversight
You know how to balance speed and quality appropriately
Attitude
You are motivated by company-building, not narrowly defined ownership
You are energized by solving hard problems, especially when the path forward is unclear
You are equally comfortable thinking strategically and executing tactically
You have low ego and high curiosity
You build trust easily across technical and non-technical teams
You are comfortable operating in fast-moving and ambiguous environments
Agency
You proactively identify problems and move toward them
You take ownership without waiting for permission
You close loops and push work to completion
You are resourceful under constraints
You are comfortable making decisions with imperfect information
You naturally create momentum around you
Ideal Backgrounds
We care far more about slope, judgment, and ownership than any specific background, but strong candidates often come from environments like:
early-stage startups
Founder's Office or Chief of Staff roles
consulting paired with meaningful operator experience
venture capital or investing roles transitioning into operating
business operations or strategic operations
former founders or entrepreneurial builders
Why This Role Is Unique
Exposure to nearly every part of the company
Opportunity to work on the company's highest-priority initiatives
Extremely high learning velocity
Significant autonomy and ownership
A path toward larger operational or functional leadership roles over time
A front-row seat to scaling an AI company during a major platform shift
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive compensation: $175,000 - $200,000 base salary
🏡 Substantial support for relocation (up to 10k€), including finding an apartment in San Francisco and supporting you with the visa procedure
Significant equity package in a Sequoia-backed startup
Health insurance for you and your dependents
New MacBook Pro or Linux machine, monitor, keyboard, etc.

Growth Engineer
TL;DR
We're looking for a Growth Engineer who writes code that moves revenue. You'll sit at the intersection of engineering and go-to-market, owning the technical systems that power how Dust acquires, activates, and converts users. Think: shipping directly on dust.tt, building our analytics and tracking infrastructure from the ground up, and creating high-leverage internal apps that make our GTM team wildly more effective.
You'll work alongside Growth Marketers and GTM Engineers, translating ambitious growth ideas into production systems, fast. And you'll do all of it supercharged by AI, using Dust and Claude Code every single day.
What you'll do
Website & Growth Funnel
Ship directly on dust.tt: landing pages, conversion flows, forms, and experiments, with the velocity of a founder, not the process of a platform team.
Implement and own end-to-end tracking across our growth funnel (ads attribution, UTM params, gclid, cookie/browser tracking, HubSpot integration).
Design and run rapid experiments (A/B tests, new pages, new CTAs) and double down on what the data says works.
Internal Apps & GTM Tooling
Build high-leverage internal applications for Sales, Growth, and Marketing: signal-based notification systems, control towers, quote-to-cash automation between HubSpot and Stripe, outbound tooling.
Create production-grade tools that our GTM team actually relies on daily, going far beyond prototypes, with real security, reliability, and autonomy.
Leverage Dust's own platform to build AI-powered agents and workflows that give our go-to-market team an unfair advantage.
Data & Analytics Infrastructure
Own our marketing and growth data stack: instrument events, build dashboards, and ensure data is clean, reliable, and actionable across PostHog, Snowflake, and Metabase.
Partner with Growth Marketers to define metrics, track performance, and generate insights that drive campaign and funnel decisions.
Build and maintain integrations across our GTM stack (CRM, CDP, ad platforms, enrichment tools).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the technical backbone of the growth team: translate vague marketing requests into scoped technical specs and ship them autonomously.
Work closely with GTM Engineers on data architecture and with Growth Marketers on acquisition strategy.
Maintain a dotted line to Product Engineering to ensure code quality, security best practices, and architectural coherence.
Requirements
Software engineer first. Strong engineering fundamentals, ideally full-stack (TypeScript/React + backend). You write clean, production-grade code.
AI-pilled. You're a power user of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent). You don't just use AI, you build with it and think about how it changes what's possible. This is a hard requirement.
Growth mindset, literally. Genuine interest in growth, marketing funnels, and user acquisition. You care about conversion rates as much as code quality.
Hands-on with analytics and tracking. Experience with tools like PostHog, GA4, Segment, Mixpanel, or similar. You've instrumented events, debugged attribution, or built dashboards before.
Autonomous and fast. You thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. You don't wait for a spec; you write the spec and ship the solution.
1-4 years of professional software engineering experience. Prior growth engineering, marketing technology, or internal tools experience is a plus.
Ideal, but not required:
Background in SEO infrastructure, programmatic content, or developer marketing
Familiarity with Stripe integrations, billing systems, or commerce flows
Prior work at a high-growth startup (especially AI-native or developer tools)
Location

Summary
We're looking for a driven and operationally sharp Field Marketing Manager to own Dust's sales-driven event strategy across the US market.
This is a high-impact, pipeline-focused role. You won't just be organizing events, you'll be directly accountable for generating qualified pipeline through executive dinners, curated sessions for business leaders, and strategic presence at key US tech and AI conferences.
You will be embedded within the Marketing team, working hand-in-hand with the US Sales team to ensure every event translates into real business outcomes: meetings booked, leads converted, deals opened.
Responsibilities
Own the US Sales Event Calendar and collaborate closely with the EMEA Field Marketing team
Build and maintain the US field event calendar. Benchmark events constantly to ensure the best coverage and ROI, and conduct discovery calls to validate relevance before committing
Partner closely with the EMEA Field Marketing Manager on cross-territory events and initiatives. Share learnings, retros, and best practices across regions to sharpen the overall event strategy
Negotiate packages with event vendors and venues
Drive Pipeline Through Events
Design and execute a pre/during/post-event playbook in close coordination with the Sales and SDR teams to maximize lead capture, follow-up quality and speed-to-pipeline
Own CRM hygiene: track leads, update HubSpot, and report on event performance
Coordinate with SDRs and AEs on account targeting before each event (guest list curation, outreach sequences, day-of briefings)
Execute Flawlessly on the Ground
Own all event logistics end-to-end: retroplanning, venue sourcing, catering, speakers, materials, onsite coordination
Be present and hands-on at events — you're not just the organizer, you're a key part of the team on the floor
Travel to events across the US regularly (est. 1–2x/month)
Create Event Content and Communications
Develop pre- and post-event content in coordination with the content team (emails, LinkedIn posts, event pages, one-pagers) tailored to target accounts and personas
Work with the broader Marketing team to adapt assets to US market tone and priorities
Measure and Improve
Report on event ROI: leads generated, pipeline created, conversion rates
Run structured retros after each event and implement learnings in the next cycle
Help the team sharpen the strategy every quarter
What We're Looking For
5-10 years of B2B marketing experience in a demand-gen or field marketing role, preferably in tech/SaaS
Proven track record of executing events that directly generate pipeline and revenue
Strong project management skills: you can run 5 events in parallel without dropping the ball
Sales-first mindset: you understand that events are a pipeline tool, not a PR exercise
Excellent interpersonal skills and low ego, you know how to work with a busy Sales team, get the information you need, and give them the support they need to close
Comfortable with HubSpot or equivalent CRM for lead tracking and campaign measurement
Thrives in fast-paced environments with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
Based in San Francisco or New York, able to travel regularly across the US
Experience with account-based marketing strategies and coordinating with ABM programs
Track record of building field marketing programs from the ground up at scaling organizations
Bonus Points
Experience in the AI/ML or enterprise software space
Experience using Dust (or similar AI productivity tools)
Experience supporting enterprise or mid-market sales teams through field marketing
Existing network in the US tech/AI ecosystem
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive compensation: $120,000–$160,000 base salary
Significant equity package in a Sequoia-backed startup
Health insurance for you and your dependents
New MacBook Pro or Linux machine, monitor, keyboard, etc.

Proactively identify process improvements and share knowledge with teammates
Help establish the foundation for a world-class US sales organization
Requirements
At Dust, we evaluate candidates across three dimensions: Aptitude, Attitude, and Agency.

5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota
Proven success closing six-figure deals in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Strong outbound prospecting skills and the ability to build pipeline independently
Experience selling complex or technical products to senior stakeholders and technical buyers
Ability to quickly understand new technologies and translate them into business value for customers
Experience operating successfully in lean, fast-moving environments with limited support infrastructure
Attitude
Deeply curious about AI, technology, and how work is changing
Growth-minded and eager to continuously learn, adapt, and improve your craft
Excited by ambiguity and energized by building in environments where not everything is fully defined
Highly proactive and resourceful; you find ways forward rather than waiting for perfect conditions
Collaborative and low ego; you care about team success as much as individual performance
Flexible and adaptable; willing to jump into whatever is needed as Dust evolves
Agency
Take ownership end-to-end and focus on outcomes rather than simply completing tasks
Identify gaps and opportunities without being asked, then proactively drive solutions forward
Comfortable experimenting with new approaches and iterating quickly based on feedback and results
Thrive in environments without established playbooks; you help create them
Operate with urgency and strong execution while maintaining good judgment
You should still consider applying even if you don’t meet every requirement above. We care deeply about potential, curiosity, and determination, and we know exceptional people don’t always fit neatly into a checklist.
