About Everlaw
At Everlaw, our mission is to promote justice by illuminating truth. We're changing how legal teams at law firms, corporations, government agencies, and nonprofits find the information they need to achieve their truth-finding goals. We believe technology should be a force multiplier for human intellect, and we see AI as an important part of how Everlawyers can work more effectively and thoughtfully.
The Role
Everlaw is building a deliberate, company-wide approach to AI—not simply to help people work faster, but to transform how we operate: redesigning workflows, improving the speed and quality of decisions, and creating new ways for teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.
Reporting to the VP of IT & Security, you’ll own Everlaw’s horizontal Corporate AI program end to end across governance, shared tooling strategy, adoption, measurement, and cost and vendor management. You’ll drive AI transformation by mobilizing department AI owners and champions and partnering closely with Learning & Development, Legal, and IT & Security.
This is a deeply hands-on role. You’ll get deep into enterprise AI platforms, agents, connectors, and workflows—evaluating tools, building and testing practical solutions, and translating what works into reusable capabilities that scale. You’ll move promising ideas from exploration to adoption, partner with Legal and Security to establish the guardrails needed to scale them responsibly, and measure whether they are changing how work actually gets done.
This is not an AI research or production engineering role, nor is it a traditional program-management or consulting role. It is a builder-operator role for someone who can work deeply in the systems while running the program with rigor—connecting systems, people, and execution so AI becomes a durable part of how Everlaw operates.
What You’ll Do
1. Own the enterprise AI operating model and governance
Keep Everlaw's federated AI efforts coherent, secure, and aligned to business priorities.
Own and operate Everlaw’s federated AI framework: run its monthly and quarterly cadence, convene department AI owners, maintain clear accountability across the program, and report progress and risks to the leadership.
Mature the operating model as Everlaw learns—including its principles, decision rights, ownership boundaries, and RACI across Enterprise AI, IT, Security, Legal, and department AI owners.
Partner with Legal and Security on data-use governance, including data classification, acceptable use, autonomy limits, and agent guardrails—enabling low-risk work to move quickly while applying appropriate scrutiny to higher-risk uses.
2. Own the enterprise AI stack — expertise, landscape, and evaluation
Be Everlaw’s resident expert on its enterprise AI platforms and the market around them, shaping what enters the stack, what scales, and what exits.
Build deep, hands-on expertise in Everlaw’s enterprise AI platforms. Use them regularly, understand their strengths, limitations, integrations, and roadmaps, and determine which capabilities are worth piloting, promoting, or standardizing.
Stay ahead of the AI landscape by proactively researching and shortlisting tools and capabilities that could materially improve how Everlaw works—while filtering out noise and deciding what merits formal evaluation.
Lead structured, evidence-based evaluations using rubrics, baseline tasks, scorecards, and business-value criteria. Build and test with the tools directly rather than relying on vendor demonstrations, and own recommendations on whether to extend existing platforms, buy new capabilities, or build internally.
Maintain a coherent shared stack by preventing duplicative or fragmented adoption where an approved platform already meets the need. Advise departments on specialized tools while respecting their ownership of domain-specific applications.
Coordinate procurement, implementation, rollout, and launch change management with IT, Procurement, Security, Legal, and other partners that own the relevant approval and delivery mechanics.
3. Drive adoption and practical enablement
Turn the tools Everlaw already owns into changed workflows and measurable use — most companies use a fraction of what they pay for; you close that gap.
Build and maintain the central enablement playbook and template library—including intake, POC, change-management, and training patterns—so teams can move quickly without reinventing the basics.
Provide hands-on guidance for high-value use cases: work directly with teams to redesign workflows and build agents or templates alongside them where targeted support is more effective than a formal engagement.
Partner with Learning & Development to build practical AI fluency across Everlaw, including tool and model selection, effective AI collaboration, and cost-conscious use.
Lead the AI champion community of practice, working with department AI owners and champions to surface adoption barriers, training needs, and reusable patterns—and feed what is learned back into playbooks and guidance.
4. Measure value and manage the AI portfolio
Own the methodology that shows whether the Enterprise AI program is creating real value — and the discipline to act on what it shows.
Own and mature the measurement system behind Everlaw's AI adoption framework — standards for pre-AI baselines, metric targets, and measured results — moving from adoption and activity metrics toward outcomes tied to workflow improvement, quality, risk reduction, and business value.
Partner with department AI leaders to define success measures for function-specific initiatives, and validate value claims as initiatives graduate through the funnel, so reported impact holds up.
Run regular portfolio reviews and manage the path from experiment to sustained adoption, with clear criteria for what should scale, consolidate, pause, or stop.
5. Manage AI spend, vendors, and external partners
Ensure Everlaw’s AI investments remain sustainable and supported by the right partners.
Maintain a portfolio-level view of AI spend across licenses, usage-based consumption, pilots, consultants, and implementation services.
Own the cost-versus-value lens, annual planning, and investment recommendations for shared AI platforms, partnering with Finance, IT, Procurement, and business owners.
Define practical consumption guardrails—including alerts, thresholds, approval flows, and caps—and adjust them as usage patterns evolve.
Manage strategic AI vendor relationships, using roadmap insight, product feedback, adoption, and value data to inform negotiations and renewal recommendations.
Build and maintain a vetted external partner bench for workflow redesign, agent design, configuration, integration, and enablement.
About You
You are a hands-on builder-operator with deep practical fluency with enterprise AI tooling, strong business judgment, and the discipline to run a company-wide program. You can turn ambiguity into an operating program, work deeply with tools and workflows, and mobilize teams across the company without relying on direct authority.
You are likely to succeed in this role if you:
Build structure from ambiguity, translating broad goals into clear roadmaps, decision rights, operating rhythms, and measurable outcomes.
Get deep into the tools. You are a hands-on power user who builds and tests agents, configures connectors, prototypes end-to-end workflows, and troubleshoots where tools break down. You understand how models, permissions, data, and integrations shape what is practical—then turn that firsthand expertise into clear guidance, reusable patterns, and better platform decisions, without needing to write production code.
Understand how teams work and can identify, redesign, and operationalize workflows where AI creates meaningful value.
Exercise sound judgment about when to build, buy, extend, scale, pause, or retire capabilities.
Exercise sound judgment about when to build, buy, extend, scale, pause, or retire capabilities.
Influence across executives, department leaders, IT, Security, Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Learning & Development.
Communicate complex technical, risk, cost, and business-value tradeoffs clearly.
Bring 10+ years of experience in digital transformation, AI and automation, internal platforms, product operations, or corporate systems, including 3+ years leading complex cross-functional programs.
Benefits
The expected salary range for this role is between $193,000 and $244,000. The final offered salary will be dependent upon many factors including the candidate’s experience and skills. The role's compensation is subject to change in the future.

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. About Everlaw
When a lawsuit or investigation happens, teams must comb through vast amounts of electronic evidence — emails, documents, chats, files — to find what matters. That work is not a side task but the case itself, and where most of the time and money in litigation goes. Everlaw is the litigation and investigation management platform changing that, using AI to turn mountains of messy data into the handful of facts that win or lose a case, compressing weeks of work into hours.
We're the kind of place that's ranked #1 on G2 in our category and named a Great Place to Work™ by our own team. So if you want a front row seat to an industry in transformation, career-defining work you'll be proud to tell people about, and real upside at a company in control of its own destiny, we'd love to get to know you.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029
Why are you being asked to complete this form?
We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.
How do you know if you have a disability?

Alcohol or other substance use disorder (not currently using drugs illegally)
Autoimmune disorder, for example, lupus, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, HIV/AIDS

The Role
You'll drive market expansion across our highest-value enterprise accounts in the AmLaw 200 domain, leading sophisticated, multi-stakeholder sales cycles to displace legacy solutions and secure net-new business. In this role, you will partner with law firm leadership and senior legal professionals to articulate how Everlaw's platform transforms litigation and discovery workflows, turning strategic account planning into long-term customer partnerships and substantial ARR growth.
This is a full-time, exempt position with the option to be remote or work out of our Oakland, CA or New York, NY office. Office-based employees are eligible for a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home on Tu/Fr.
What you'll do
Execute strategic account plans to identify, engage, and close complex new business opportunities within the AmLaw 200 space.
Lead high-stakes sales cycles from initial qualification and discovery through tailored demonstrations, proof-of-value evaluations, and executive-level negotiations.
Partner with Sales Development Representatives, Account Executives, Solutions Architects, and Sales Leadership to build a robust, healthy pipeline and expand account footprints.
Present tailored business cases, ROI assessments, and product demonstrations to senior partners, C-suite executives, and legal subject matter experts.
Manage accurate pipeline forecasting and account intelligence using tools across our sales tech stack, presenting strategic updates to Sales Directors and executive leadership.
Champion continuous process improvement and share field insights to support team growth and help shape go-to-market strategy.
About You
You have at least 7 years of successful quota-carrying experience in B2B SaaS sales with a proven track record of closed-won success ($1.3M+ ARR) in net-new enterprise accounts.
You bring extensive experience navigating complex enterprise business sales processes, multi-stakeholder evaluations, and executive negotiations.
You are an energetic, self-directed hunter who excels at prospecting, account mapping, and building your own pipeline.
You demonstrate strong consultative selling and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and convey value to senior leadership.
You are available and willing to travel throughout the United States to meet with prospective clients and team members in person.
You are authorized to work in the United States. Please note that at this time, Everlaw is not sponsoring U.S. employment visas for this role.
Bonus points
You have 3+ years of selling for a Managed Service Provider or selling a SaaS ediscovery solution within the legal tech space. (Please note that eDiscovery expertise is highly valued but does not substitute for the required depth of B2B SaaS selling experience needed for this role.)
Think you're missing some of the skills and are hesitant to apply? We do not believe in the 'perfect' candidate and encourage you to apply if you feel you can bring value to our team. We often revisit candidates who may have applied for a different role if something comes up that's a better fit.
The Team — Sales
The Sales team brings Everlaw to organizations that feel the pain of complex legal work most acutely. Across law firms, corporations, and the public sector, the team uses thoughtful discovery, tailored demonstrations, and well-managed evaluations to connect customer needs with clear, provable value. Sales is the bridge between a genuinely differentiated product and the organizations ready to transform how they uncover truth.
Total Rewards & Benefits
The annual base salary for this position is $175,000, with a total On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $350,000. The variable component is performance-based, contingent upon attainment of specific sales objectives, which are governed by Everlaw's policies and incentive plans. The role's compensation is subject to change in the future. This role is also eligible for equity and the benefits below.
Health & well-being
Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
Flexible Spending Accounts for health and dependent care expenses
Membership to Modern Health to support mental health and wellness
Paid parental leave
Company-sponsored life and disability insurance
Financial rewards
Competitive equity grants, so you share in Everlaw's long-term growth
401(k) plan with company matching of up to 4% of eligible annual compensation
Growth & everyday perks
17 paid vacation days, 11 federal holidays, and paid sick leave
Four "Everlawlidays" (additional paid company-wide days off) per year
Annual allocation for learning & development and relevant professional membership dues
Hybrid work with regular work-from-home days and flexibility for life's logistics
Monthly home internet reimbursement, plus a stipend for your desk setup
Catered lunch each workday, plus snacks and company-wide events in our offices

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:
A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.
A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.
An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.
An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.
