You'll work side-by-side with the teams building the next generation of geothermal energy, tackling problems that genuinely move the business forward. At the end of the summer, you'll present your work to our executive leadership team, department leads, and fellow interns, sharing real results with a real audience. This is a real seat at the table — and a real shot at what comes next. Position Description Fervo Energy is developing next-generation geothermal power to deliver firm, carbon-free energy at scale. Our flagship Cape Station development in Milford, Utah is one of the largest next-generation geothermal developments in the world, and our Houston headquarters houses the engineering, commercial, and corporate teams driving Fervo's growth.As an Asset Management Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in commercial asset management, sitting at the intersection of power trading, customer engagement, commercial strategy, and plant operations. You'll develop financial models and market strategies to optimize the value of our geothermal power assets in the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) market, gaining unique insight into what it takes to bring a late-stage geothermal development into commercial operations, with plenty of opportunity for cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and company leaders.
