Role Scope
Own Solar strategy and deployment. This includes commercial relationships with solar developers, suppliers, independent power producers, and behind-the-meter generation partners across every active US data center market, from initial site engagement through executed offtake agreement.
Negotiate solar PPAs, behind-the-meter offtake agreements, and retail power arrangements with commercial counterparties, structuring terms that create fungible capacity options and running scenario analyses to extend the shelf life of existing agreements or accelerate delivery of new ones.
Shape solar energy outcomes by engaging in interconnection processes, state and federal regulatory proceedings, and policy engagements that affect behind-the-meter generation timelines and economics.
Partner with the site acquisition team to assess solar resource quality, supply chain constraints, and behind-the-meter generation potential for prospective locations before lease commitments are made.
Quarterback solar workstreams across design, construction, finance, and grid operations, and distil market, regulatory, and technology developments into clear decisions for leadership.
What We're Looking For

You've personally managed a portfolio of large-scale infrastructure or data center projects where the complexity came from the number of concurrent sites, not just the size of any single one.
You've built a program tracking processes, systems and reporting pipelines from scratch, not inherited them, and the output was something a leadership team actually used to make decisions.
You quarterback across construction, utilities, legal, finance, and operations simultaneously, and you're the person other teams call when a milestone is at risk.
You've owned stage-gate or milestone frameworks that coordinated handoffs between site selection, engineering, permitting, and operations, with no terms lost in the transition.
You catch schedule risk and cost exposure weeks before they surface in a status meeting, and you know which two people to call to fix it.
You write and communicate clearly enough to give a CEO or external developer a crisp summary of where a gigawatt-scale portfolio stands in five minutes.

Own water and wastewater infrastructure strategy across Fluidstack's full portfolio of data center sites, from initial site assessment and water rights diligence through supply agreements, permitting, and construction.
Assess water supply risk and delivery feasibility for new sites before lease commitments are made, flagging constraints early enough to keep them off the build schedule.
Negotiate water supply and wastewater agreements with local authorities, utilities, and service providers across US markets, and own the relationships that make those deals move.
Drive compliance with water withdrawal limits, NPDES and pre-treatment permit conditions, and end-user flow agreements, tracking data and catching anomalies before they surface as operational or regulatory issues.
Coordinate water workstreams across Development, Engineering, Design, Construction, and Operations so water timelines never gate a build.
What We're Looking For

You've personally owned water and wastewater infrastructure for industrial or data center projects from site selection through construction, across multiple concurrent sites.
You've negotiated water supply and wastewater agreements with local utilities and authorities, and closed deals where supply volume, rights, or infrastructure access wasn't straightforward.
You track water policy, legal rights, and regulatory changes across active US markets and know when a state rule or permit condition is going to affect a site before anyone else flags it.
You've worked with NPDES permits, industrial pre-treatment permits, or decentralized wastewater systems in a US context, and you can navigate the permit process without outside guidance.
You quarterback across development, engineering, design, construction, and operations on water issues, keeping all open items visible and moving without losing anything in the handoffs.
You write clearly enough to produce an external water narrative a customer or regulator can act on, and directly enough to close a difficult commercial negotiation with a water authority.

You've maintained working-level relationships with utility project managers and engineers across multiple active projects simultaneously, and you know how to keep a queue item from going dormant.

The Construction Team
Examples of key problems the team is working on
Put gigawatts in the ground, faster than anyone has. We're delivering one of the largest data center buildouts of its kind, with many sites running at once. Traditional construction management breaks at this scale, so we're building the model that replaces it.
Throw out traditional construction and invent how gigawatts get built. Tons of tools, layers of process, and administrative drag don't get you there. You'll strip all of that out and win by solving the real problem and beating the goal, not by managing toward it.
Productize the data center so we can build it a thousand times. You'll turn one-off construction into a repeatable, modular build, where the hundredth site goes up faster and cleaner than the first. That repeatability is the only way to reach the scale we're targeting.

Manage the full contract lifecycle: RFP, bid analysis, EPC and subcontractor award, PCO tracking, lender and interconnection reporting requirements, and close-out.
Drive mitigation on critical-path and long-lead risks including transformers, inverters, switchgear, BESS enclosures, and interconnection queue milestones, and act as the single point of accountability for all internal and external project stakeholders.
Lead construction managers, field superintendents, and project engineers across concurrent solar sites, develop staffing plans, and run the weekly cadence of standups, reviews, and issue escalations.

Role Scope
Own day-to-day site execution for utility-scale solar and BESS projects, orchestrating EPC contractors, civil crews, electrical trades, and equipment vendors to deliver safe, on-schedule, on-budget facilities from mobilization through energization.

Enforce the site safety program and hold every subcontractor to a zero-incident standard, from pre-mobilization safety plans through final punch list.
Coordinate civil, racking, PV, inverter, BESS, and MV/HV electrical trades in real time, resolving field conflicts before they hit the schedule, and manage QA/QC, RFI, submittal, and change-order workflows to close-out.
Track and report daily progress, earned value, cost-to-complete, and resource loading to the Project Manager, and surface procurement risks on long-lead equipment (transformers, switchgear, inverters) early enough to act on them.
