Marketing Lead
Introduction
is hiring our first marketer to accelerate our core business, modernize homebuilding, and transform the experience of buying, selling, and owning homes.
About Foundation
Backed by ~$6.8M in funding from leading VCs (including Y Combinator), Foundation is an ex-Opendoor team transforming residential real estate.
Foundation’s first product is the customer experience platform for homebuilders — think “Shopify for Homebuilders.” We work with enterprise-scale homebuilders to deliver a modern digital customer experience, dramatically improving both their customer happiness and the productivity of their teams. In two years, we’ve demonstrated clear product-market fit and rapid growth — all with zero professional marketing.
We’re still in the first of three overlapping phases of growth and company-building:
Transformative, AI-driven vertical SaaS for homebuilding — a public-scale opportunity in its own right.
The enterprise ecosystem for real estate. Homebuilders are the economic engine that starts and fuels this flywheel, unlocking an order-of-magnitude larger opportunity. This ecosystem fosters collaboration between (and network effects with) adjacent trillion-dollar industries — lending, title, home insurance, home services, retail, and more.
The AI-native home operating system and interface. The economic engine of vertical SaaS and the network effects of the enterprise ecosystem fund and fuel the flywheel that enables us to (profitably) deliver the transformative consumer AI experience for homebuyers and homeowners. Find, buy, and operate your home — all with Foundation.
Foundation’s First Marketer
We’re hiring our first marketer. We’re looking for a hands-on, impact-obsessed, AI-accelerated marketer who wants to transform a major pillar of the U.S. economy — and help redefine marketing for the AI era.
The Job
You’ll play a central role in driving Foundation’s next stages of growth — working at the intersection of AI, marketing, and real estate transformation. Here’s our expected order of operations:
Rapidly accelerate the growth of our core product line: the AI-native stack for the homebuilding industry. This is vertical SaaS: whitepapers, testimonials, product marketing, outbound, OOH, and more. You’ll help tell the story of how Foundation is redefining homebuilding, and — because our customers genuinely love what we’re building — you’ll have strong tailwinds from day one.
Transform how homebuilders market and sell homes. Homebuilders don’t have access to Silicon Valley-grade marketing, technology, or design. You’ll help us change that — using Foundation’s products, playbooks, and expertise to give them superpowers.
Seed the network. You’ll help define, launch, and scale our first ecosystem products, expanding beyond homebuilding into the adjacent industries that power homeownership. We have a strong thesis on what comes first, but you’ll be a key part of the discovery, shaping, and delivery process to determine how we build out this ecosystem.
Be a partner as we discover, shape, and grow the native AI for homeowners. From home finance to home services to home automation and beyond, this is a generational experience.
Throughout, you’ll also play a hands-on role in shaping our products — you’ll be an active voice in the product, design, and engineering process.
The Requirements
You have 7-10+ years of experience as a marketer at high-growth, venture-backed technology companies.
You are both strategic and tactical; you think big but love to get your hands dirty.
You love getting to know new customers and new markets, you turn to AI from Day 1, and you’d rather hire AI agents than humans (to start with, at least).
Even if you have specialties, you’re comfortable as a generalist — you’ll be building a 0-to-1 marketing program for a huge enterprise vertical (homebuilding) on the fly. This includes outbound, product and content marketing, and fueling enterprise sales teams.
Software Engineering
Introduction
is hiring great engineers to accelerate our core business, modernize homebuilding, and transform the experience of buying, selling, and owning homes.

In two years, we’ve demonstrated clear product-market fit and rapid growth — all with just contract design support.
We’re still in the first of three overlapping phases of growth and company-building:
Transformative, AI-driven vertical SaaS for homebuilding — a public-scale opportunity in its own right.
The enterprise ecosystem for real estate. Homebuilders are the economic engine that starts this flywheel, unlocking an order-of-magnitude larger opportunity.
The Job
You’ll help us build the most trusted, modern customer experience platform in homebuilding — and drag the everyday workflows of a huge, traditional industry into the AI era (with taste, pragmatism, and real-world empathy).
This role sits close to product and customers. You’ll ship across the stack, partner with design and go-to-market, and take ownership of meaningful slices of the platform — from early discovery to production hardening. We’re building for real businesses, real revenue, and real users who don’t have time for fragile tools.
What you’ll do (examples, not a checklist):
Ship product that matters. Build features that improve how builders operate and how buyers experience the home buying journey — fast feedback, frequent releases, and measurable outcomes.
Own problems end-to-end. Take ambiguous, high-impact problems from “what should we do?” to “it’s live, monitored, and loved.”
Build calm, composable systems. Create software that’s easy to understand, extend, and operate — the kind of codebase that makes other engineers better.
Bring AI into real workflows. Use AI where it genuinely helps users (and avoid it where it doesn’t), turning enterprise “forms and friction” into guided, intelligent experiences.
Work close to customers. Learn how builders think, observe where their tools break down, and build solutions that feel obvious in hindsight.
Raise the bar. Improve quality, performance, reliability, and developer experience through thoughtful refactors, better primitives, and good defaults.
The Requirements
We care about craft, curiosity, and follow-through. We’re looking for builders — the kind of engineers who ship, learn, and iterate, with a strong sense of ownership and a bias toward clarity.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, shipping production software that real users rely on.
Product-minded builder. You care about the “why,” not just the “what,” and you optimize for customer outcomes over internal elegance.
Strong fundamentals + good taste. You write clear, maintainable code, choose sensible abstractions, and know when to keep it simple.
Self-directed and accountable. You can take a goal and run with it — breaking it down, communicating tradeoffs, and delivering without constant oversight.
Comfort with ambiguity. You enjoy the early-days energy: vague problems, fast iteration, and learning by building.
Pragmatic about AI. You’re excited about what’s possible, thoughtful about what’s safe and useful, and eager to apply AI in ways that actually improve workflows.
Collaborative communicator. You work well with designers, PMs, and non-engineers — you can explain, listen, and align.
Quality and reliability mindset. You test appropriately, you care about observability, and you leave systems better than you found them.
Nice-to-haves (not required)
Experience in SaaS, workflow products, marketplaces, or enterprise-facing systems
Experience modernizing legacy systems without breaking customers
Familiarity with multi-tenant architectures, permissions/security, and data modeling
A track record of building internal tools that make teams dramatically more effective
Customer Success Manager/Lead
Introduction
is hiring a customer success executive to accelerate our core business, modernize homebuilding, and help transform the experience of buying, selling, and owning homes.
About Foundation
Backed by $6.8M in funding from leading VCs (including Y Combinator), Foundation is an ex-Opendoor team transforming residential real estate.

In two years, we’ve demonstrated clear product-market fit and rapid growth — all with just contract design support.
The Role
We’re hiring an experienced Customer Success Manager to own and grow relationships with a portfolio of Foundation customers. This role sits at the intersection of customer success, account management, and onboarding execution. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to customers post-sale—driving adoption, managing ongoing needs, and ensuring customers realize long-term value from the platform.
You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing multiple accounts and priorities while proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and process improvements. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to resolve issues, influence roadmap decisions through customer feedback, and continuously improve how we onboard and support customers.
This role is built for someone who wants real ownership and real impact. As an early member of a growing team, you’ll help define how we work with customers—not just execute an existing playbook. You’ll wear multiple hats, make decisions, and see the direct results of your work as Foundation scales.
This is an ideal role for someone with strong SaaS customer experience who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building from ambiguity, and wants meaningful ownership and visibility in a scaling startup.
What You’ll Do
Account Ownership & Customer Success
Own a portfolio of mid-market to enterprise customers as the primary point of contact post-onboarding.
Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders; run regular check-ins, health reviews, and success conversations.
Drive product adoption and value realization by aligning customer goals to platform capabilities.
Monitor account health, usage trends, and engagement metrics; proactively address risks and expansion opportunities.
Onboarding Oversight
Lead or oversee new customer onboarding in partnership with Onboarding and Operations teams.
Run kickoff calls, manage timelines and milestones, coordinate training, and ensure smooth go-lives.
Identify onboarding risks early and communicate clearly with both customers and internal teams.
Support & Escalation Management
Act as an escalation point for complex customer issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
Partner with Support to maintain strong SLA adherence and customer satisfaction.
Create clear escalation packets for Product and Engineering, including context, impact, and reproduction steps.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement
Serve as the voice of the customer internally—surfacing trends, feature requests, and recurring pain points.
Collaborate with Product and Product Ops to translate customer feedback into actionable insights.
Help refine onboarding playbooks, success processes, and internal documentation to support scale.
Documentation, Reporting & Insights
Maintain accurate account documentation, success plans, and customer notes in CRM tools.
Produce clear internal updates on account health, risks, and wins for leadership.
Contribute to knowledge base articles, customer-facing guides, and internal enablement materials.
What We’re Looking For
5–7 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Implementation/Onboarding Management, or a related SaaS customer-facing role at high-growth, venture-backed technology companies
Proven experience owning customer relationships and managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills—you can translate technical or product concepts into clear, customer-friendly language.
Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure where processes are still evolving.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with a bias toward proactive follow-through.
Familiarity with common SaaS tools (CRM, ticketing systems, project tracking tools, analytics dashboards).
U.S. work authorization.
Nice to Have
Experience in vertical SaaS, proptech, or real estate/homebuilding.
Exposure to customer success metrics (health scores, retention, expansion, NPS).
Experience contributing to process design or operational improvements.
Who You Are
A customer advocate who balances empathy with clear expectations and accountability.
Comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end, not just tasks.
Thoughtful, organized, and proactive in how you manage work and relationships.
Energized by partnering with customers and shaping how a growing company serves them.
