ABOUT THE ROLE
The People Operations helps run and continuously improve the People engine at Freed. This is a high-execution, high-ownership role responsible for onboarding, offboarding, recruiting coordination, office management, People systems, and the day-to-day employee experience.
You will ensure every employee has a seamless experience from Day 1 onward, while building the operational backbone that allows the company to scale efficiently. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and operates with urgency and ownership.
HOW YOU’LL HAVE AN IMPACT
- Own onboarding and pre-boarding end-to-end by ensuring all logistics, systems, and manager plans are in place, tracking Day 1, Week 1, and 30/90-day milestones, and flagging risks early.
- Run recruiting coordination at a high bar by scheduling interviews, managing candidate experience, and partnering with the Head of People and hiring managers to ensure speed, organization, and strong communication throughout the process.
- Drive offboarding execution by managing separation workflows, documentation, and cross-functional coordination with IT, Finance, and managers.
- Operate and improve People systems by maintaining data accuracy across tools (Gusto, Windmill, etc.), supporting payroll and benefits, and identifying opportunities to streamline workflows.
- Manage the SF office and employee experience by overseeing office operations, vendors, events, and ensuring a high-quality in-office and remote experience.
- Support People analytics and reporting by maintaining dashboards (headcount, attrition, onboarding progress), tracking operational metrics, and contributing to monthly People recaps.
- Lead end-to-end planning of team and company off-sites and created meaningful employee experiences through recognition programs, key milestones, and surprise & delight initiatives
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- You know how to effectively prioritize, but are also adaptable and flexible- you are excited to work in an environment that is constantly evolving.
- You like to move quickly and are constantly looking for ways to automate processes and tasks.
- You are an excellent communicator, regardless of channel (written & verbal) or group (internal or external).
- 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced, people-facing role, preferably within a high-growth or startup environment.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience in high-growth startup environments
- Familiarity with tools like Ashby, Notion, Gusto, or similar
- Experience supporting recruiting coordination or candidate experience
- Exposure to People analytics or reporting

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Group Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding Freed’s growing base of B2B customers. Your portfolio will consist of medical groups of varying size and complexity that are currently subscribed to our core product. Some accounts will be at full capacity, most will not. Your job is to ensure we deliver on Freed’s promise: to be the most clinician friendly company in the world.
You’ll be responsible for every aspect of the customer journey: onboarding and training new users, troubleshooting any user issues, addressing technical questions about new or existing features, maintaining a ‘pulse’ on the customer and all key champions from the account (eg, clinical directors, chief medical officers, heads of innovation, etc.), and introducing new products when the time and fit are right.
HOW YOU’LL HAVE IMPACT
- You lead the set-up and execution of a B2B customer management playbook, from onboarding to expansion.
- You analyze and identify opportunities to proactively reach out to customers to make sure they are getting the most out of our product.
- You identify and successfully close expansion opportunities.
- You provide ongoing support to the user base across your portfolio.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 5-8 years of directly relevant experience managing high profile customer accounts.
- An established ‘toolkit’ for delivering exceptional customer service, especially in a fast-paced, low process, entrepreneurial environment.
- Core expertise in managing medium to large customer accounts, plus a demonstrated track record of expanding those accounts through deliberate, systematic efforts.
- High motivation, self direction, and an intrinsic sense of ownership and accountability.
- An indefatigable spirit that’s equally capable of handling customer delight and dissatisfaction.

- Previous experience in an early-stage, high growth company.
- Familiarity with advanced technology and AI-type products and solutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're on the hunt for talented, high-caliber individuals to join our elite team of engineers. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in restoring joy to medicine while pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI technology. Our engineering culture emphasizes speed, end-to-end ownership, responsibility, and independence, attracting top-tier talent and promoting exceptional performance.
HOW YOU’LL HAVE IMPACT
- Full Stack: Take ownership of product features and drive implementation across the backend (TypeScript) and frontend (React/TypeScript) components of our software stack.
- AI First: Adapt the latest AI models (language and speech) and techniques to our use case. You can contribute to any of: model training, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and optimizing inference for latency and cost. Prior AI experience is not required.
- Empowered Teams: Collaborate with team members in a fully remote work environment (work hours are flexible but most of the team is on the west coast). Our teams are autonomous and cross-functional, including Product Management and UX Design.
- Data-driven: Design experiments to validate product changes and ensure the highest quality of our software.
- Clinician Obsessed: Have a passion for our mission and dedication to making a positive impact on the healthcare industry.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- A history of consistent top performance and a desire for a mission-driven work culture.
- 5+ years of experience in full stack Software Engineering.
- Curiosity for LLM applications and familiarity with using AI for development (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor)
- Familiarity with our tech stack is preferred, including React, TypeScript, NodeJS, Azure and SQL.
