Senior Accountant
Senior Tax Manager
About the role
You'll build and lead the tax function at Gamma, reporting to the Director of Accounting. With tens of millions of users worldwide and a fast-growing B2B business, our tax footprint is expanding quickly across global indirect tax, income tax provision, corporate returns, and local filings. You'll be our dedicated tax owner: shaping strategy alongside the Director of Accounting, running the compliance calendar, and managing external advisors, all while staying hands-on with the technical work yourself.
This is a builder's role. We keep finance lean and put automation and AI to work wherever we can, so you'll design tax processes and systems that scale with the business instead of scaling headcount. If you want to own a global tax function end-to-end, with the judgment calls, advisor relationships, and cross-functional influence that come with it, this role was built for you.
What you'll do
Lead Gamma's tax function end-to-end in partnership with the Director of Accounting, owning the global tax calendar and the relationships with our external advisors
Own global indirect tax across our self-serve and enterprise business: US sales and use tax (nexus analysis, registrations, filings) plus international VAT, GST, and digital services tax obligations
Manage the quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740, and review US federal, state, and local corporate income tax returns and estimated payments prepared by external advisors
Handle local and other tax obligations (franchise, property, gross receipts, business licenses), and maintain the controls, documentation, and audit support that keep the function clean
Advise on the tax implications of international expansion, entity structuring, transfer pricing, and equity compensation as Gamma grows globally
Build scalable tax processes and implement tax technology, using AI and automation to keep the function lean as complexity grows
Our team has a strong in-office culture and works in person 4–5 days per week in San Francisco. We love working together to stay creative and connected, with flexibility to work from home when focus matters most.
What you'll bring
An active CPA license and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus 8+ years of progressive tax and accounting experience spanning Big Four public accounting and in-house industry roles
Deep technical command of ASC 740 tax provision, multi-state corporate income tax, and US sales and use tax compliance
Strong working knowledge of global indirect tax (VAT, GST, digital services taxes) for SaaS or digital products sold internationally
A builder's mindset: you've created tax processes, controls, and documentation from scratch and managed external advisors to get leverage
The range to operate both strategically and hands-on with limited oversight, translating complex tax issues clearly for non-tax partners, paired with genuine excitement for AI tools and a track record of automating manual work
A Master's in Taxation, experience with tax technology platforms like Anrok, Avalara, or Vertex, transfer pricing or international structuring experience, or time at a high-growth SaaS or AI company (Nice to have)
Compensation range:
The base salary for this full-time position, which spans multiple internal levels depending on qualifications, ranges between $190K - $240K plus benefits & equity.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to experience and expertise in the requirements listed above.
If you're interested in this role but you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway! We're always excited about meeting great people.
Engineering Manager, Growth
About the role
The Growth team owns two areas that together determine how Gamma grows and how that growth turns into a business.
Monetization builds the shared systems that power how Gamma monetizes. The impact here is multiplicative: the platforms you build unlock growth everywhere. These systems turn AI innovation into repeatable, scalable growth.
Self-serve growth works directly on user-facing experiences: onboarding, activation, discovery, and lifecycle flows. This team's work directly shapes how users discover, adopt, stick with, and become Gamma champions.
Our team has a strong in-office culture and works in person 4–5 days per week in San Francisco. We love working together to stay creative and connected, with flexibility to work from home when focus matters most.
What you'll do
As the engineering leader across both areas, you'll:
Lead and scale the engineering team across both monetization infrastructure and product-led growth
Own the monetization platform: payment integrations, subscription management, billing, AI usage tracking and crediting, pricing systems
Own the growth surfaces: onboarding and activation flows, in-product education and discovery, lifecycle experiences, notifications, and messaging infrastructure
Collaborate cross-functionally across product, design, data, and other engineering teams. Partner on the full funnel: where users drop off, what the onboarding experience should look like, and where to focus next
Build and run a team that can move fast on experiments while also building durable shared systems
Mentor, coach, and develop engineers on the team
Contribute to broader engineering and EPD leadership by proactively identifying opportunities or misalignment and addressing them
What you'll bring
5+ years experience as a senior+ engineer, 2+ years managing and leading high performing teams
Experience leading growth engineering, with a track record of moving activation/retention/conversion metrics
Experience with monetization or payments infrastructure (subscriptions, billing, app store payments, pricing systems)
Thinks deeply about product experiences and can look at a funnel and form a point of view on what to change
High cross-functional fluency
Comfortable pushing into ambiguity to find and drive the next big growth bets, even when the path isn't fully defined
Hands-on and technical enough to evaluate architecture decisions, guide the team’s technical direction, and review code, build prototypes, or jump in as needed
Compensation range:
The base salary for this full-time position, which spans multiple internal levels depending on qualifications, ranges between $250K - $325K plus benefits & equity.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to experience and expertise in the requirements listed above.
If you're interested in this role but you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway! We're always excited about meeting great people.
Software Engineer, Trust & Safety
Software Engineer, Distributed Systems - Trust & Safety
Why this role matters now
AI has dramatically lowered the barrier for bad actors. Generating convincing phishing pages, spinning up realistic-looking fraudulent accounts, and producing abusive content at scale no longer requires specialized skill — a motivated attacker with access to widely available models can do it.
At the same time, AI is transforming what's possible on the defensive side. A small, sharp T&S team equipped with frontier models can now build detection, triage, and response systems that would have required a team five times the size just a couple of years ago. AI-assisted content scanning, automated investigation workflows, and intelligent alert prioritization mean that a lean team can protect millions of users — if they build the right infrastructure.
About the role
You'll architect and scale the trust infrastructure that keeps 70M+ users safe while preserving the creative freedom that makes Gamma magical. This means designing distributed systems for real-time content scanning, anomaly detection, and rate limiting; helping define and evolve the core data model and storage systems behind abuse detection; and shipping the high-volume event pipelines and internal tools that let our support teams act quickly on threats.
You'll join a small, high-impact team building the foundation for trust at scale. You'll work across databases, public APIs, and event infrastructure, balancing long-term technical investments with rapid shipping velocity. You'll collaborate across engineering, product, and design to define how Gamma approaches safety for the long term.
Our team has a strong in-office culture and works in person 4–5 days per week in San Francisco. We love working together to stay creative and connected, with flexibility to work from home when focus matters most.
What you'll do
Own detection and prevention systems for fraud, abuse, spam, and malicious content across millions of daily users
Design and build scalable trust infrastructure including rate limiting, content scanning, anomaly detection, and account security
Architect distributed systems, APIs, and high-volume event pipelines that power real-time abuse detection at Gamma's scale
Help define and evolve the core data model and storage systems that underpin trust and safety across the product
Build tools that empower internal support teams to investigate and act on suspicious or malicious activity
Leverage AI/LLM-based detection to stay ahead of AI-generated abuse — phishing, fraud, and malicious content that's increasingly indistinguishable from legitimate activity
Build automated triage and investigation workflows that let a small team operate at the scale of a much larger one
Investigate and resolve complex security incidents with limited context
Partner with engineering and product to balance security with user experience
Shape Gamma's long-term trust and safety strategy and technical roadmap
What you'll bring
5+ years of backend engineering experience building scalable, high-traffic production systems
Strong systems thinking and experience building highly available web APIs
Strong proficiency in backend technologies (Node.js, Python, or similar) and databases (PostgreSQL, Redis)
Experience with event streaming systems (Redis, Kafka, or similar) and high-volume event pipelines
Hands-on experience implementing trust features like rate limiting, content detection, and fraud prevention
Track record shipping high-quality, complex applications under tight timelines
Product-minded approach with understanding of how technical decisions impact user experience and business metrics
Passion for security, user protection, and solving problems at scale
Nice to have
Experience with AI/LLMs for content moderation, or familiarity with TypeScript, Prisma, Apollo GraphQL, or AWS
Experience building AI-assisted moderation pipelines or using frontier models for automated abuse detection and response
Familiarity with the evolving AI threat landscape — how generative models are being used for phishing, social engineering, and content abuse at scale
Experience with real-time collaboration systems
Compensation range:
The base salary for this full-time position, which spans multiple internal levels depending on qualifications, ranges between $180K–$310K plus benefits & equity.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to experience and expertise in the requirements listed above.
If you're interested in this role but you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway! We're always excited about meeting great people.
Sr. Product Manager, B2B
AI Creative Strategist
About the role
Gamma is growing fast, and paid acquisition is one of the biggest levers we have. The constraint isn't budget — it's creative. The companies winning in AI are testing hundreds of ads a month. Most teams ship a handful. You'll own the system that closes that gap.
This is a build-and-operate role. You'll design and run the pipeline that takes a brief and produces production-ready static and video ads at a volume no traditional creative team can match, pairing AI generation with real editorial judgment and a real QA bar. You'll work closely with our media buyers and creative strategist to keep fresh creative in test around the clock, read the data to understand which ads moved CPA, and feed those learnings directly back into what you produce next. If you think production throughput is an engineering problem and you'd rather build the machine than hand-craft one perfect asset, this role was designed for you.
Our team has a strong in-office culture and works in person 4–5 days per week in San Francisco. We love working together to stay creative and connected, with flexibility to work from home when focus matters most.
What you'll do
Design. Every day. Own creative output for Gamma's highest-visibility moments, from product launches and brand campaigns to enterprise sales materials — set the quality bar by producing the work, not just approving it
Manage and elevate a distributed design team while collaborating with marketers on campaigns and brand initiatives. Hire new designers as the team grows
Drive AI-first creative production by building repeatable workflows for ideation, asset production, and iteration across your team
Own Gamma's brand identity and visual systems across every surface: marketing, social, events, and sales collateral to scale the brand from prosumer delight to B2B credibility
Develop creative strategies that serve Gamma's full audience spectrum, from individual creators to Fortune 100 decision-makers, adapting tone and visual approach while keeping the brand cohesive
Build frameworks that let regional teams produce on-brand work at speed, and lead localized creative for key markets across AMER, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC
What you'll bring
A performance or direct-response creative background with proof you've shipped high volumes of ad creative fast — this is a production and systems role, not brand or social
Hands-on fluency with AI creative tools across the stack: LLMs for copy and hooks, image creation, AI video, voiceover, and asset assembly
A builder's instinct: comfortable with prompt engineering, API integrations, and light scripting or automation (n8n, Make, or similar) to wire a pipeline together
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to read creative and account performance in ad platforms and know which metric a given test is meant to move
Hands-on experience with both static and video formats, and the judgment to know when a rough static will outperform a produced video
Familiarity with subscription and LTV dynamics, so you're optimizing toward paying users, not just cheap clicks (Nice to have)
Compensation range:
The base salary for this full-time position, which spans multiple internal levels depending on qualifications, ranges between $180K - $235K plus benefits & equity.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to experience and expertise in the requirements listed above.
If you're interested in this role but you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway! We're always excited about meeting great people.
