About Granola
Hey! We're team Granola 👋 We're building the leading AI-powered notepad for people in back-to-back meetings, a product that's spreading through teams and redefining how knowledge is captured and used. We help teams turn messy call notes into structured insight, so they can spend more time focusing on what's important and less time on admin.
The Opportunity
We're growing our US Customer Success team and looking for our next CSM to join our founding US CSMs in San Francisco. You'll own a book of our highest-value enterprise accounts end-to-end, from onboarding through renewal and expansion. You'll be a core part of a small, ambitious team where your work directly impacts customer experience and our US GTM motion.
What You'll Do
Own and grow a book of business across business, enterprise, and high-potential accounts, from onboarding through renewal and expansion.
Run high-touch onboarding for strategic accounts, including custom kickoffs with Sales and Recruitment.
Become a deep product expert and trusted advisor to customers, helping them design workflows, best practices, and change management around AI-powered note-taking.
Take on technical ownership of AI integrations and setup (e.g., MCP-style integrations, AI tooling) as the product evolves.
Contribute to our CS playbook: processes, metrics, cadences, and how we segment and support accounts as we scale.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership to bring customer insights into roadmap and go-to-market decisions.
What We're Looking For
Your background looks something like…
4+ years in Customer Success (ideally 5+), with at least 2 years managing a consistent book of business at the same company throughout the post-sales lifecycle (onboarding, adoption, renewal / upsell).
Experience in PLG / high-velocity SaaS environments (think Intercom, HubSpot, or earlier-stage Monday.com/Asana-style products) rather than large, heavy enterprise motions.
Comfort working with modern SaaS and GTM stacks (e.g., Attio, Stripe, Juro, Omni). Experience with AI products & integrations is a strong plus.
US-based and able to work from our San Francisco office 5 days a week once we have one (no visa sponsorship available).
As a person you...
You're a builder: resourceful, self-sufficient, and excited to help shape CS processes, playbooks, and systems as we grow.
You're hungry and ambitious. You care about growth, impact, and taking on wide scope in a small team.
You're genuinely customer-obsessed: you build strong rapport, ask sharp discovery questions, and leave people feeling understood and supported.
You're curious about product and AI, and enjoy digging into how things work and pushing for deeper understanding.
You communicate clearly, collaborate well with Sales and Product, and are comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving startup.
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with AI tooling or integrations (e.g., MCP-style integrations, AI-powered workflows, or similar).
Experience at an earlier-stage company where you helped shape the CS function.
About the Opportunity
We are living in the most exciting time for tool builders since Engelbart's demo in 1968 and we want to assemble the best crew to build this future together. Our compensation philosophy is to hire the best people in the market and pay them accordingly with salary, variable, and equity.
Lastly, we think amazing talent comes from all kinds of life journeys and experiences. If what is written above speaks to you, whether you look like a fit on paper or not, please reach out.

About Us
We’re Team Granola 👋, building tools that help humans think and work better.
What began as an AI notepad for back-to-back meetings has become a shared team workspace and second brain. Granola spreads organically inside companies, often starting with a senior leader and quickly cascading across teams.
Today, Granola is used at many of the world’s top and fastest-growing companies like Vercel, Cursor, Lovable and Decagon.
Designed and built in London, Granola now serves a predominantly US customer base. To support that growth, we’ve opened a San Francisco office as the hub for our North American go-to-market efforts.
About the Role
You’ll be the first Revenue Operations hire in the San Francisco office, defining our go-to-market approach and building the operational foundation of Granola’s sales motions.
This is a hands-on building role for someone who wants to design and own, not inherit and maintain. You'll define processes, own reporting, run operational cadences, launch motions, and enable sales through tooling. You’ll shape strategically how we go to market: who we target, how we segment, and what the right motions look like as Granola scales.
You'll work closely with the VP of Sales and our AEs day-to-day, and partner with our GTM Engineering team in London. This role reports into the Head of GTM Operations in London.
What You’ll Do
The philosophy is to design and own, not inherit and maintain.
Own key GTM processes. Design, build and iterate on the key operational processes. Map the motions, find the friction, design the fixes.
Be the key operational partner to Sales leadership. Work very closely with the VP of Sales to drive revenue - surfacing what's working, what isn't, and what to change.
Define our ICP and segmentation. Have a clear point of view on who we should be targeting and why. Bring the analysis that sharpens our ICP, informs inbound and outbound prioritization, and makes our targeting smarter over time.
Lead territory and quota planning. Partner with Sales leadership on territory design, goaling metrics, and quota setting.
Drive revenue performance. Identify and fix bottlenecks in the funnel, including lead routing, qualification and conversion to grow revenue impact across Sales.
Own sales performance reporting and forecasting. Own the weekly forecasting process, identifying risks and opportunities for Sales leadership.
Enable Sales through tooling and own CRM integrity. Understand Sales workflows and build tools to drive improvements. Keep the CRM trusted and well-used, and support reps in managing their pipeline effectively.
Partner with GTM Engineering. Be the business voice that shapes what the team builds. Identify where systems and AI software can improve the motion.
What We’re Looking For
Background & Experience
4–8 years of experience in Revenue Operations, GTM Operations, or a similar role supporting Sales teams.
Track record of designing, running and consistently improving sales processes to drive measurable impact on revenue.
Hands-on experience with modern GTM tooling (e.g. Attio, Apollo, Clay) and AI and automation.
Strong data and analytical skills with experience working with pipeline data, forecasting, and performance metrics.
Skills & Traits
Highly autonomous, strong problem-solving mindset, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
Comfortable working with sales teams and collaboratively across time zones.
Clear and concise communicator.
Actively looks for ways to apply AI and automation.
Personal Characteristics
A builder who gets energized creating things from scratch and driving improvements once they exist.
Excited to work in-person in the SF office, embedded with the sales team.
Pragmatic and impact-focused.
Values working with people who are kind, ambitious, and collaborative.
Compensation:

About the Role
You’ll help build our high-velocity sales motion from the ground up, turning product-led demand into revenue.
This role is focused on speed, volume, and learning. You’ll work a high number of opportunities, run tight feedback loops, and develop the instincts to become a world-class closer over time.
You won’t just follow a playbook, you’ll help shape it.
What You’ll Do
• Run a high volume of inbound and product-driven opportunities
• Convert engaged free users into paid accounts quickly and efficiently
• Own fast sales cycles from first touch to close
• Generate pipeline through creative outbound and self-sourced efforts
• Continuously test and improve messaging, positioning, and conversion tactics
• Partner closely with product and growth to share frontline learnings
• Help build the foundation for our future mid-market and enterprise sales team
What We’re Looking For
Background & Experience
• 1–3 years of closing experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding quota
• Experience running full sales cycles in a high-velocity or product-led environment
• Demonstrated ability to close deals independently, not just support them
• Evidence of exceptional early performance (top ~10–20%, fast promotion, or outsized results)
Skills & Traits
• High learning velocity, able to quickly absorb product and customer context
• Strong written communication and ability to engage users directly
• Bias toward action and experimentation over process
• Comfortable operating with limited structure
• Curious about technology and how products work
Personal Characteristics
• High internal drive, you take ownership and push things forward without being asked
• Competitive, you care about winning and improving
• Builder mindset, you want to create something, not inherit it
• Energized by fast pace, high volume, and constant iteration
• Motivated to grow into a top-tier account executive over time
Who This Is For
• Early-career AEs who want more reps, speed, and ownership
• People who want to accelerate into mid-market and enterprise sales
• Candidates who have already closed deals and want to level up quickly
