Head of Marketing
The Role
As Head of Marketing at Hedra, you'll own the growth engine: brand and positioning, the website, demand generation, and developer acquisition. You'll make Hedra legible to developers, technical buyers, and enterprise teams, then turn that clarity into signups, API keys, and pipeline.
This is a role you build by doing before you build it by hiring. You'll set the positioning, ship the site changes that convert, run the launches, and write the emails yourself. Each buyer profile gets its own narrative track: developers building on our API, prosumers using the product directly, and enterprise buyers evaluating deployment.
You'll set the marketing standard, which means meeting it yourself before you hire and manage against it. The title reflects where the role goes. Marketing at Hedra will include content, social, and DevRel. The early months are yours to execute rather than delegate.
Responsibilities
Own brand and positioning across developers (API/platform), prosumers, and enterprise, and lead the shift toward B2B and developer audiences.
Own website strategy and conversion: landing pages, comparison pages, pricing, and the paths that turn a visit into a signup or an API key.
Own SEO and GEO across the entire site, not only the blog. That means landing pages, comparison pages, and developer documentation, optimized for traditional search and for how answer engines and LLMs surface and cite sources.
Build demand generation and developer acquisition: own the channel mix, run experiments, and report on the funnel from first touch through developer signup and enterprise pipeline.
Direct paid and social as acquisition channels, whether you run them yourself early on or brief specialists and agencies.
Own launch orchestration: every feature ship gets a coordinated site, email, blog, video, and social plan with consistent messaging.
Write and own product marketing and feature launch emails to the full distribution list, and build lifecycle segmentation across developer, prosumer, and enterprise audiences over time.
Own the blog as one execution channel inside that system: an editorial calendar aligned to launches, writing or editing the posts that carry the positioning.
Run competitive intelligence: track competitor launches, positioning, content, and pricing, and feed it back into our messaging and comparison pages.
Write or heavily edit video scripts in partnership with the Senior Video Producer so long-form content carries the same positioning.
Define the messaging guardrails the social/DevRel lead and video team operate within.
As the org matures, take on management of the content and social functions.
Qualifications
7–10 years in marketing spanning both positioning and demand generation, with at least part of it marketing to developers or technical buyers (API products, dev tools, or infrastructure).
Exceptional writer — this is a writing-first role. We'll ask for a portfolio of launch emails, blog posts, and messaging docs, and the process includes a paid writing exercise.
Hands-on with modern SEO and GEO across a full site rather than only a blog: landing pages, comparison pages, technical documentation, structured content, and how LLMs surface and cite sources.
A track record owning demand generation and developer acquisition. You've run a funnel from first touch through signup or pipeline, and you can talk through what you tried, what worked, and the numbers.
Comfortable treating the website as a conversion surface: you've shipped and tested landing pages and can work with design and engineering to get changes live.
Working knowledge of paid and social as acquisition channels, whether you've run them directly or managed specialists against a budget.
Comfortable operating solo inside a CMS and an ESP with no support staff.
Has run coordinated multi-channel launches before, ideally at a startup where you were the whole team.
Leadership trajectory: you've managed a small team, or you're ready to.
Who You Are
A writer first. You'd rather draft the email than brief someone else to draft it.
Self-motivated and independent: able to set ambitious (and yet accurate!) timelines and deliver on them.
Low ego, high patience, proactive communication. Strong opinions, loosely held.
Comfortable with numbers. You can read a funnel, find where it leaks, and decide what to fix first.
Genuinely curious about generative AI, world models, and the infrastructure underneath them — curious enough to read the docs and try the API yourself.
And most importantly, treat Hedra as your own and help shape the vision with us.
About Hedra
Hedra is a research and infrastructure lab building physical world models and the inference to deploy them at scale. Backed by top investors at Index, a16z, and Abstract Ventures, we've built the foundations for full-stack visual intelligence in the next era of AI.
Today our API serves both first- and third-party models to production customers, and our agent works within a single workflow to create content from scratch, manipulate existing assets, critique its own outputs, and repurpose them on demand. We're scaling from frontier research into the infrastructure the rest of the industry will build on.
We started by commercializing action-conditioned, real-time interactive video generation. We're now extending that foundation to the broader class of physical world models that perception, robotics, and media generation all run on.
At Hedra, we're a team of hard-working, passionate individuals seeking to fundamentally change how visual intelligence gets built and deployed, and to build a generational company together. You should have startup experience and be a self-starter driven to build impactful products that change the status quo.
The team is fully in-person in SF with a shared love of solving hard problems.

Senior Video Producer
The Role
As Senior Video Producer at Hedra, you'll own our video engine end to end. YouTube is our highest-converting channel across developers, prosumers, and enterprise, and you'll be the person who makes it run at a sustainable cadence.
You'll produce the long-form work (tutorials, feature deep-dives, and product narratives) built around what developer, prosumer, and enterprise audiences actually search for. Every long-form piece then feeds a cutdown pipeline for X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and paid media. You'll write or brief the scripts, run the freelance bench that executes alongside you, and own the channel itself: thumbnails, titles, metadata, and the weekly numbers.
You'll do most of this work yourself, shooting and cutting as well as producing. The freelance bench gives you extra volume and specialist craft (e.g., motion graphics). You'll partner closely with marketing, manage contractors, and work against the launch calendar.
Responsibilities
Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing to build deep knowledge of the product, our users, and what those users are trying to build.
Own the video content calendar, aligned to the marketing launch calendar and blog and email themes.
Produce long-form YouTube content targeting developer, prosumer, and enterprise search intent: tutorials, feature deep-dives, and product narratives.
Source, contract, and manage the freelance bench of video editors, motion graphics designers, and on-camera talent. Keep at least two vetted options per function so no single contractor is a point of failure.
Write the scripts yourself, or brief them out when volume demands it, working with marketing on messaging as needed.
Turn every long-form piece into short cuts for X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and paid media. You'll cut most of these yourself and hand overflow to the bench.
Manage any agency relationships under clear guardrails: briefs, SOWs, continuous asset delivery, and weekly reporting.
Own YouTube channel operations, including thumbnails, titles, metadata, and search optimization, and report weekly on output and conversion-relevant metrics.
Keep all raw footage, project files, and account credentials organized in company-owned systems.
Qualifications
4+ years producing video for a tech or SaaS brand, including at least one YouTube channel you grew and can show the numbers for.
A track record hiring and managing freelance editors and motion designers, not only working inside a large in-house team.
You can script, and you can shoot scrappy solo content when the moment calls for it. This is not a project management role.
You understand YouTube as a search and conversion channel, not only a brand channel.
Enough technical fluency to make developer-facing content credible: you can follow a product demo and you know what an API is.
Who You Are
Hands-on. You'd rather cut the video yourself than wait a week for a contractor to get to it.
Self-motivated and independent: able to set ambitious (and yet accurate!) timelines and deliver on them.
Low ego, high patience, proactive communication. Strong opinions, weakly held.
Curious about generative AI and world models, and interested enough to use the product yourself.
And most importantly, treat Hedra as your own and help shape the vision with us.

Account Executive
Customer Success Engineer
The Role
As a Customer Success Engineer at Hedra, you'll own the technical relationship with our customers after they sign — getting developers and enterprise teams from first integration to production, and keeping them there. You're the hands-on technical partner closest to the customer's stack: debugging API calls, architecting integrations, tuning for latency and cost, and translating what customers hit in the field into product direction with our engineering team. You'll work side by side with our Account Executives, owning technical success while they own the commercial relationship.
Responsibilities
Own the post-sales technical relationship for our API, agent, and inference customers, from onboarding and first integration through production deployment and expansion.
Serve as the dedicated technical resource and advocate for developers and enterprise teams: debug API calls, review integration code, and guide customers to the optimal use of our models and platform.
Architect and troubleshoot production deployments against real constraints, latency, throughput, cost per deployment, and reliability.
Become one of the foremost technical experts on Hedra's platform, internally and for customers.
Translate recurring customer pain points into concrete product proposals, working directly with engineering and product to ship fixes and features.
Partner with Account Executives to drive adoption, surface expansion opportunities, and turn early pilots into scaled production usage.
Build and maintain the runbooks, reference integrations, and docs that let customer success scale as we grow.
Qualifications
4+ years in a customer-facing technical role, customer success or forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, technical support engineering, or software engineering with direct customer exposure.
Hands-on technical ability. You can write Python that works, read and debug an API integration, and produce working sample code. You don't need to be a full-time engineer, but you're comfortable in a customer's codebase.
Experience with APIs, SDKs, and developer-facing products, and comfort explaining integration paths and deployment tradeoffs to technical buyers.
A track record of getting customers to production and keeping them successful, ideally with usage-based or consumption pricing.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to earn trust with developers and the leaders who sponsor them.
Demonstrated curiosity about generative AI, world models, and the inference and infrastructure that make them usable.
BS or BA in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Who You Are
Self-motivated and independent: able to set ambitious (and yet accurate!) timelines and deliver on them.
Low ego, high patience, proactive communication. Strong opinions, weakly held.
Understand operational costs and overhead, short and long term, and how they show up in a customer's deployment economics.
And most importantly, treat Hedra as your own and help shape the vision with us.
