Legitify
Product Lead
Legitify | Europe
Legitify is building the infrastructure for cross-border legal transactions in Europe. We started by making cross-border notarisation possible online. Today, leading enterprises and scale-ups use Legitify to run legal processes across jurisdictions - combining identity, documents, signing, notarisation and jurisdiction-specific workflows in one platform.
Demand is growing faster than our team. We're deliberately small, and we're looking for an exceptional Product Lead to help decide what Legitify becomes next.
The role:
This isn't a role where you'll inherit a large product organisation, manage a backlog and run ceremonies.
You'll be one of the people deciding what we build.
You'll work directly with the founder, engineering, customers and partners to turn a complicated legal domain into a product that feels surprisingly simple.
The product challenge is straightforward to describe and difficult to solve:
How do we make a cross-border legal transaction feel as easy as any modern digital workflow - without sacrificing legal certainty?
How we work
We're deliberately a small team.
We don't hire to add layers or process. We hire people who materially increase what the company can do.
You'll have meaningful influence over the product, roadmap and direction of the company.
Why now
Europe is entering a new era of digital identity and signing. But making identity easier doesn't solve the harder problem: ensuring a legal transaction actually works across jurisdictions.
Legitify has spent years building that cross-border infrastructure.
Now we're turning it into a product enterprises can use directly, integrate into their own systems and increasingly automate with AI.
That's the product challenge.
If you believe Europe's friction and red tape are product problems that can be designed away, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
You'll own product from customer problem through shipped outcome.
That means:
Setting product priorities with the founder and engineering.
Spending significant time with customers and understanding where their workflows break.
Translating complex legal and jurisdiction-specific requirements into simple product experiences.
Deciding where software should automate, where AI can improve the experience and where human expertise needs to remain in the loop.
Developing our enterprise product and integration experience.
Improving the end-to-end journey from document upload and identity through signing, notarisation and delivery.
Using data and customer behaviour to identify friction and measure what works.
Working directly with engineers on scope and trade-offs rather than throwing specifications over the wall.
Turning years of accumulated jurisdiction-specific knowledge into scalable product infrastructure.
Saying no to good ideas so the few things we choose to build can be exceptional.
Required Skill Set:
We're looking for someone who is unusually good at moving between strategy and detail. One hour you might be thinking about how AI and digital identity reshape this market. The next, you're figuring out why a customer dropped out of a document flow.
You'll likely have:
Strong experience building and shipping B2B or B2B2C software products.
Excellent product judgement and the ability to prioritise aggressively.
Experience working closely with engineers on technically complex products.
Strong customer discovery skills - you look beyond what customers ask for to understand the underlying problem.
Analytical instincts and comfort using data to make decisions.
The ability to simplify complicated systems without pretending the complexity doesn't exist.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
High ownership and comfort operating without a large team or established playbook.
Experience in legal-tech, fintech, identity, compliance, workflow software or another regulated industry is valuable, but not essential.
You do need to enjoy learning complicated domains.

We're deliberately small, and we're looking for an exceptional AI & Full Stack Engineer to help us build what comes next.
Who we're looking for:
We're looking for an excellent product engineer, not someone who simply matches a technology checklist.
You should be comfortable understanding a problem, challenging the proposed solution, designing the system, writing the code, shipping it and seeing whether it worked.
How we work:
We're deliberately a small team.
We don't hire to add capacity. We hire people who materially increase what the company can do.
That means high ownership, few layers and direct access to customers, decisions and the consequences of what you build.
Why now:
Digital identity and signing are becoming dramatically easier across Europe. Cross-border legal processes aren't.
We've spent years building the jurisdiction-specific infrastructure behind those transactions. Now we're using software and AI to make that complexity disappear for the customer.
That's what you'll help build.
Responsibilities:
What you'll build:
This isn't an AI lab role or a narrow engineering position.
You'll build production software across Legitify's stack and use AI where it can fundamentally improve how legal work gets done.
That could mean:
Building AI systems that understand documents and help determine the right legal workflow.
Turning jurisdiction-specific legal knowledge into intelligent product experiences.
Building agents and automation that remove manual work from complex legal processes.
Developing the core Legitify platform across documents, identity, signing, scheduling, payments and integrations.
Building APIs and enterprise integrations that let customers embed Legitify into their own workflows.
Creating internal AI tooling that gives a small team significantly more leverage.
Taking problems from idea to production - and owning what happens after they ship.
You'll work on systems where "mostly correct" isn't enough. Our customers need speed and legal certainty, delivered together.
Required Skill Set:
You'll likely have:
Strong full-stack engineering experience across frontend, backend, APIs and data.
Hands-on experience building production applications with modern AI/LLM technologies.
Good judgement about where AI works and where deterministic systems or humans still need to be in the loop.
Experience building reliable APIs, integrations and production systems.
Strong product instincts and attention to user experience.
High standards for security, privacy and reliability.
The ability to operate with significant autonomy.
Experience with legal-tech, identity, electronic signatures, document processing or regulated products is useful, but not required.
The ability to learn difficult domains quickly matters more.
