Agency Distribution Solutions (ADS) Finance & Accounting is looking for an experienced leader to be our Compensation Director. In this role, you will lead our Compensation Operations team, a function critical to ensuring Comparion Insurance Agency’s agents and managers are paid accurately and on time every month. In this role, you will set the strategic direction for the team, first and foremost ensuring the monthly compensation cycle is executed reliably and without disruption. From there, you will balance hands-on leadership with a focus on innovation, championing the adoption of new tools and technologies to modernize how compensation is processed.
This is an opportunity to build and elevate a high-performing team, strengthen partnerships across the organization, and serve as a trusted voice on compensation operations matters — from Comparion leadership down to individual agents and managers. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, exercising judgment on complex, organization-wide initiatives and setting direction for the team.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the entire Compensation Operations team, overseeing the process that turns 90+ monthly carrier commission statements into accurate compensation for ~1,500 Comparion agents and managers.
- Manages and develops a team of eight, including managers and individual contributors, building talent and capability across the team.
- Ensures compensation is processed accurately and completed in time for the monthly bonus period close.
- Drives continuous process improvement initiatives focused on compensation accuracy, efficiency, and the automation of manual work.
- Champions the adoption of AI and other emerging technologies to enhance and modernize compensation processes.
- Works cross-functionally with other Finance and ADS teams to ensure compensation transactions reconcile to reporting, bank transactions, and carrier statements.
- Partners with the Compensation Design team to evaluate new ideas and ensure they are operationally sound and ready to go to market.
- Partners with ADS and LM technology and Product Owner teams to ensure compensation technology is stable and working as needed, and to evaluate improvements that can be implemented in the future.
- Communicates effectively with Comparion and ADS leadership, and Comparion managers and agents as needed, serving as a trusted point of contact on compensation operations matters.
Qualifications
- Advanced to expert level knowledge of data sources, tools, applications and business drivers.
- Advanced knowledge of business operations, policies, procedures and priorities, to include a strong understanding of the function’s value chain and market conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Assist on design of designing pricing programs deployment pipeline from modelling to product launch in coordination with the Deployments team
- Applies knowledge of sophisticated analytics techniques to manipulate large structured and unstructured data sets in order to generate insights to inform business decisions.
- Identifies and tests hypotheses, ensuring statistical significance, as part of building and developing predictive models for business application.

The Product Delivery Monitoring Team is looking for a Consultant to help advance the next generation of Personal Lines Auto monitoring capabilities. This highly visible individual contributor role will partner across the organization to strengthen how we monitor Auto pricing programs, detect emerging issues, improve data accuracy, and scale sustainable monitoring practices across the broader Auto portfolio.
This role will focus heavily on building strategic monitoring capabilities that reduce programmatic risk, improve early issue detection, and create a scalable foundation for future growth. In addition, this individual will support core Auto Program Monitoring responsibilities, with a focus on program-level monitoring and analysis of recently launched pricing programs.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical and technically capable, comfortable working independently, able to navigate ambiguity, and effective at partnering cross-functionally with both technical and business audiences.
Responsibilities
• Drive the development and scaling of continuous monitoring and anomaly detection capabilities to reduce programmatic risk across the Auto portfolio.
• Improve data accuracy and early issue detection across rating programs, key business metrics, and Auto program results.
• Build scalable monitoring processes, tools, dashboards, and analytical frameworks that support future-state portfolio monitoring and program-level analysis.
• Reduce manual effort and response time through automation, improved reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
• Support program-level monitoring for Personal Lines Auto pricing programs by analyzing key metrics, identifying emerging trends, and assessing whether results are performing as expected.
• Query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to investigate anomalies, identify root causes, and communicate actionable insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with teams across USDS, the Data Office, IT, Risk Analytics, Underwriting, State Management, and other business areas to identify issues, coordinate solutions, and improve monitoring effectiveness.
• Provide timely updates and recommendations to stakeholders on monitoring results, data quality, program performance, and emerging risks.
Ideal candidate will have :
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify patterns, investigate root causes, and develop practical recommendations.
• Proficient in SQL, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and Snowflake. Experience with Python and GitHub preferred.
• Experience building dashboards, reporting tools, analytical frameworks, and repeatable processes.
• Ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
