WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
Onebrief is hiring a Principal Integration Manager to own the execution and growth of Onebrief’s work supporting the Next Generation Constructive (NGC) program. This role has end-to-end ownership of Onebrief's contributions to a multi-million dollar government program, ensuring successful delivery while positioning the initiative for continued year-over-year growth.
Reporting to the Head of Key Initiatives, you'll serve as the program lead across government stakeholders, internal teams, and industry partners, with direct visibility and escalation to Onebrief's executive team. You'll quarterback the program by aligning teams, managing risk, and ensuring customer commitments are delivered while balancing government expectations with contractual obligations.
This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for Onebrief's execution and performance within the NGC program rather than personnel management. Success requires someone who can operate effectively within both large government programs and a fast-paced startup environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Core responsibilities:
- Own outcomes for Onebrief's contributions to the NGC program, schedules, milestones, risks, deliverables, and customer commitments.
- Work alongside leaders in other departments to assemble a purpose-built, matrixed in, cross-functional team oriented exclusively on the success of the program.
- Quarterback the program by coordinating government stakeholders, internal teams, vendors, and industry partners to keep execution aligned and moving forward.
- Manage program scope by interpreting Statements of Work (SOWs), aligning customer requests with contractual obligations, and partnering with Legal on contract modifications when needed.
- Lead program planning, customer engagements, internal and external reviews.
- Oversee milestone execution, and risk management while providing internal cross functional guidance and oversight to technical leads.
- Identify opportunities to improve program execution, reduce costs, and support future program growth.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of operational planning, defense acquisition, or large headquarters environments.
- 10+ years of experience managing Government Programs of Record (PoRs) within the defense technology industry.
- Proven ability to influence without authority and communicate effectively across cross functional internal teams, customers, and external partners.
- Demonstrated experience owning large government programs, including schedules, contractual scope, stakeholder management, and risk management.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and influence government stakeholders while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Current Active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret/SCI
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including travel to locations such as Orlando, Florida, and Leavenworth, Kansas.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with defense software, SaaS, or systems integration programs.
- Experience supporting Army modernization or command and control programs.
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth technology company.
- Existing relationships within the DoD acquisition community.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
As the Content Producer on the Delivery Enablement Operations (DEO) team, you own the production quality of everything DEO creates. You are the professional content development function for the CR Ops function — the person who takes raw subject matter expertise from the Atom Engine Instructor and Onebrief Platform Instructor and transforms it into polished, publication-ready training and enablement materials that Onebrief's customers and employees can trust.
This is both an internal and external-facing role. Internally, you produce the onboarding materials, training modules, workflow guides, and SOPs that new employees and delivery teams rely on. Externally, you produce the customer-facing training content, exercise preparation guides, feature walkthroughs, and enablement videos that represent Onebrief's quality bar to the commands we serve. You coordinate closely with Marketing on brand alignment, visual standards, and content distribution strategy — and with Product on timing and messaging accuracy for new capability releases.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Content production
- Produce all internal DEO training materials to a professional standard: new employee onboarding modules, Atom Engine training curricula, Onebrief platform training content, workflow guides, and SOPs
- Produce customer-facing training materials, feature walkthroughs, exercise preparation guides, and enablement videos that reflect Onebrief's quality bar
- Produce slicksheets, quick-start guides, job aids, and visual reference materials for deployment at customer commands
- Ensure all customer-facing content is accurate, on-brand, and approved through the appropriate QA and Marketing review process
- Maintain and update internal content as the product evolves and field lessons come in from site visits and exercise debriefs
Brand and quality standards
- Coordinate with Marketing on brand alignment, visual standards, terminology, and content distribution strategy
- Own and enforce QA review practices across all content outputs: terminology consistency, spelling, visual standards, and messaging alignment with Product Marketing
Cross-functional coordination
- Partner with Product on new capability release timing to ensure content is ready at the point of customer delivery
- Work with the DEO Manager to manage a content production calendar that tracks deliverables, review cycles, and publication targets
- Coordinate with DEO on the monthly content sync cadence to ensure updated modules are delivered on schedule
Operational content library
- Maintain the DEO content library: organized, versioned, and accessible to the delivery teams and DEO staff who depend on it
- Identify gaps in the content library proactively and flag them to the DEO Manager with a recommended production plan
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong video production and editing skills; experience with tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent.
- Strong project management skills: able to manage multiple content tracks, meet deadlines, and communicate status proactively.
- Exceptional written communication skills: clear, concise, and on-brand across formats (scripts, job aids, quick-start guides, slide decks, walkthroughs).

- Every DEO output looks like it came from a professional content team. Training materials, enablement videos, and customer-facing guides are polished, on-brand, and trusted by the people who use them.
- Content is always current. Product ships a new capability; you and the instructors have updated materials ready before the delivery team needs them in the field.
- Internal onboarding materials reduce ramp time for new employees. New Customer Relations staff have clear, well-produced resources that help them become effective faster.
- The customer-facing content library is organized, versioned, and used. Delivery teams and customers can find what they need, trust that it's current, and actually use it.
- Training-generated leads are consistently captured and routed. No lead falls through the gap between a training engagement and Sales/CR follow-up.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
Onebrief sells to defense and government customers. Those customers require proof, not promises, that our systems protect their data. We need a GRC Program Architect to inform the build that proof and keep it current as our compliance obligations grow.
This role owns the architecture behind our compliance posture. FedRAMP, CMMC, SOC 2, and international frameworks each impose different controls. Someone has to translate those requirements into systems, processes, and evidence that hold up under audit. That work falls to this person.
Compliance and security engineering can't operate as separate tracks here. Controls that exist only on paper don't protect anyone and don't survive an audit. This person will work hands-on with engineering to implement the technical controls that back up our compliance claims, not just document them after the fact.
The stakes are direct. A gap in our compliance program can block a contract, delay an authorization, or put customer data at risk. A strong program does the opposite. It opens doors to new customers and gives existing ones confidence to expand their use of our platform.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Core responsibilities:
- Own the design and implementation of Onebrief's GRC framework across RMF, FedRAMP, CMMC, SOC 2, and other applicable standards.
- Build and manage the control environment, including policies, procedures, and evidence collection systems.
- Design and implement technical security controls in partnership with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure and Corporate IT including access management, logging, encryption, and vulnerability management practices.
- Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Corporate IT to translate compliance requirements into working technical controls, not just documented ones.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in GRC, security engineering, or a combined compliance and technical security role
- Direct experience with RMF, FedRAMP, CMMC, or equivalent federal compliance frameworks
- Hands-on experience implementing technical security controls, such as IAM, logging and monitoring, network segmentation, or encryption
- Working knowledge of security control frameworks such as NIST 800-53 or NIST 800-171
- Experience managing third-party audits and assessor relationships
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to translate regulatory language into clear technical and internal guidance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a startup or scaling company environment
- Background in military, defense, or government contracting
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or a technical security certification (AWS Solutions Architect)
- Experience building GRC automation using infrastructure-as-code or scripting

- Identify and remediate at least one significant security control gap before it surfaces in an external audit
- Serve as the trusted point of contact for customer security questionnaires and compliance inquiries

- Win buy-in from engineering leads who previously treated compliance requests as low priority
- Get through a customer or third-party security review without escalations or fire drills
TOOLS, SYSTEMS & TECHNOLOGIES (OPTIONAL)
Experience with GRC platforms (such as RegScale, eMASS, or similar), cloud security tooling relevant to Federal environments, logging systems, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code for control automation is a plus.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Security team. You'll work closely with product engineers, fellow SREs, security, and customer success.
This is an SRE role for someone who's comfortable in application code. Much of the reliability and performance work happens in the codebase (primarily TypeScript), so you'll fix problems at the source rather than working around them in the infrastructure. You'll be a first line of support for our mission-critical deployments across on-prem DoD and AWS environments, and what you learn in the field will feed directly back into the product.
You'll ship code that makes Onebrief more stable, faster, and easier to deploy and operate. The work sits at the seam between engineering and operations, and it's weighted toward engineering.
ABOUT YOU
You treat reliability as a feature, not an afterthought, and you'd rather fix a problem in the code than route around it. You understand the full software development lifecycle (design, review, testing, release) and you know where reliability fits into each step.
You're comfortable reading and writing application code, and you're just as happy dropping into a kubectl shell to triage a production issue. You turn failure modes into guardrails, and you think monitoring, alerting, and clear runbooks are part of building software, not extra credit.
You mentor others and push a culture of blameless postmortems. You work naturally with product and platform teams, helping them move fast without breaking things by giving them the tools, tests, and observability that make quick recovery real.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll help make our production application reliable, scalable, and secure by improving the software itself, not just the systems it runs on. Day to day that looks like:
- Improving the application: Work directly in the codebase (primarily TypeScript) to fix reliability and performance problems at the source. You'll partner with product engineers on design decisions, review code with reliability and security in mind, and treat "make the app better" as a first-class part of the job rather than something you hand off.
- Building observability that developers actually use: Design and run our monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Loki, Alloy, Grafana). The goal is alerts and dashboards tied to real application behavior, so teams catch issues before users do.
- Owning reliability targets: Define and measure SLIs and SLOs, wire up alerting that feeds them, and be the person who can say what "reliable" means for our systems and prove it with data.
- Leading incident response: Act as incident responder, and incident commander when needed. Run blameless post-mortems (AARs) that find the actual root cause and turn it into a code or process fix so it doesn't happen again.
- Automating away toil: Spot the repetitive operational work and write software to kill it. Share what works with other teams, including those running in air-gapped environments, and help them get production-ready.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- An active Secret clearance
- 5+ years in software engineering, SRE, or a related role, with real time spent writing and shipping application code
- Strong TypeScript (or comparable modern language experience with willingness to work primarily in TypeScript)
- Solid grasp of the full SDLC: design, code review, testing, release, and how reliability fits into each stage
- Experience with incident response, root cause analysis, and turning findings into lasting fixes
- A collaborator who works well across product, platform, and DevOps teams and shares context openly
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
- Application development in TypeScript (Node and/or a modern front-end framework)
- CI/CD: building and maintaining pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins)
- Testing and quality practices as part of the delivery process
- Comfort with at least one of Python, Go, or Bash for tooling and automation
- Working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes (enough to debug and deploy, not necessarily to stand up clusters from scratch)
- Networking fundamentals and secure configuration basics

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own contract execution across Onebrief's portfolio of strategic project initiatives, ensuring contractual obligations, customer commitments, and business objectives remain aligned throughout program execution.

Onebrief's strategic government initiatives require experienced contract professionals who can help ensure complex contractual commitments are executed effectively throughout the life of each program. As a Customer Success Engineer at Battle Road by Onebrief, you operate at the intersection of engineering and mission execution.
You'll deploy AtomEngine into real-world military training environments, including Secret and air-gapped systems, where you'll configure, extend, troubleshoot, and improve the platform while working directly with customers. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Core responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and support AtomEngine in live military training environments, including classified and air-gapped systems, by extending entities, features, behaviors, sensors, and operational scenarios through AtomEngine tooling and scripting to reflect real-world requirements.
- Embed onsite with customers across the United States, to understand operational needs, iterate alongside users, ensure successful deployments, and translate real-world friction into actionable Product and Engineering feedback by providing military context and operational priorities that enable engineering teams to prioritize effectively.
- Integrate AtomEngine with partner systems by configuring and troubleshooting APIs, networking, infrastructure dependencies, and system connectivity, while resolving technical issues in real time during high-visibility exercises—including in front of large audiences—and implementing technical fixes to ensure the software functions optimally for upcoming customer exercises.
- When not supporting active exercises, proactively identify and implement improvements from the enhancement backlog, contributing directly to the engineering backlog alongside the Software Engineering team using technologies such as Godot, C++, C#, and Python.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to military stakeholders, partners, and internal teams by explaining complex capabilities, engaging constructively with key stakeholders, and responding to challenging questions with clarity and professionalism.
- Improve documentation, deployment processes, and operational repeatability to enable scalable deployments and long-term customer success.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or another customer-facing engineering role involving hands-on development.

Onebrief's infrastructure team owns the platform that delivers our software to military staffs. Our charter spans Kubernetes clusters in commercial and government cloud, application streaming for thin-client users on classified networks, a unified artifact pipeline that signs and ships the same builds to every environment we operate, and air-gapped appliances at forward sites.
We're hiring an Infrastructure Engineer who builds security into the systems they operate rather than treating it as a separate workstream. You'll architect, build, and run the platform end to end. This includes RFCs, PRDs, and reviewing and writing production code alongside Product and Engineering teammates. The work cuts across cloud-native deployments, edge appliances, data platforms, and the application streaming layer that puts Onebrief on classified environments. You'll partner with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and mission owners on STIGs, CVE remediation, audit prep, and the controls work that lets us operate in environments such as IL5, IL6, and JWICS.
