Overview
Application
Phantom is the modern money app used by tens of millions around the world. Our product combines everything people need to manage, spend, and grow their money in one simple, intuitive experience. Phantom brings all the control and flexibility of crypto-powered finance, without unnecessary complexity, into mainstream consumer finance.
By combining industry-leading security with thoughtfully designed tools, Phantom makes powerful financial tools feel approachable and easy to use. This focus on speed, control, and user experience has fueled rapid growth, with a community of 20M+ people, reaching #1 in the Google Play Store finance category, and consistently ranking as a Top 50 app across all categories, alongside some of the most recognizable consumer technology platforms in the world.
Role Description
Phantom is looking for a Head of Business & Corporate Development to lead our partnerships, strategic intelligence, and M&A functions. You will be Phantom's outward-facing business leader — deepening and diversifying partnerships across crypto and traditional fintech to unlock and extend foundational capabilities, drive distribution and revenue, and develop the pipeline of inorganic opportunities that close capability gaps faster than we could build or hire. You'll sit within the Ops Org alongside BizOps and Communications — the business layer of Phantom — and serve as the internal expert that leadership reaches out to for everything from market intelligence to deal execution.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Partnerships
Partner with Product to launch and scale major business lines, unlocking foundational capabilities through strategic partnerships
Lead business development strategy across user growth, monetization, and platform expansion
Own revenue targets, measuring impact and deepening integration across the product stack
Corporate Development & Strategic Intelligence
Map the competitive landscape and build market intelligence that provides a real point of view on where the space is heading
Build and maintain a pipeline of inorganic options that close capability gaps and accelerate key metrics
Own deal processes end-to-end – sourcing, diligence, negotiation, closing, and integration
Deliver execution-ready recommendations, not research reports — every output actionable on receipt
Qualifications
A leader with 10+ years of experience spanning business development, partnerships, corporate development, M&A, or strategy — or a combination of investing and operator backgrounds
Deep knowledge of the crypto and/or fintech ecosystem, with a strong network in Solana and beyond; you are plugged in, get calls from founders and investors, and have a genuine point of view on where things are heading
Demonstrated track record of making calls that influenced executive decision-making or product direction — and driving action as a result
Meaningful deal experience across partnerships and/or M&A: you can speak to specific transactions, what you owned, and what you learned
A cross-functional operator — comfortable collaborating across Product, Engineering, Ops, Marketing, and Finance
A strategic negotiator — skilled at structuring deals with decentralized protocols, regulated financial players, and acquisition targets alike
Exceptional judgment and prioritization; ability to move at speed with 80/20 thinking — you know what to prioritize and what to deprioritize, and you don't confuse activity with impact
Strong written and verbal communication — crisp memos, curated analysis, clear narratives
Experience managing a lean team, or a proven high performer who can take on management duties
We strongly encourage candidates of all backgrounds to apply. We believe that our work is stronger with a variety of perspectives, and we’re eager to further diversify our company. If you have a background that you feel would make an impact at Phantom, please consider applying. We’re committed to building an inclusive, supportive place for you to do the best work of your career.
By submitting your resume and application materials, you acknowledge and agree that Phantom Technologies, Inc. ("Phantom") collects and processes your personal information (including application materials, interview records, and related data) to evaluate your candidacy. Phantom may use AI-powered tools and third-party service providers for transcription, note-taking, scheduling, and other administrative tasks. We're looking for a Senior Brand Designer to join our Brand Creative team and help shape how Phantom shows up in the world. This is a high-craft, high-autonomy role for someone who thinks and operates at the intersection of brand strategy and visual execution; someone who can help us define what great looks like, build the systems that make it repeatable, and raise the bar across every touchpoint. Help evolve and extend Phantom's visual identity: contributing to design system decisions, setting creative direction, and maintaining a high bar for brand quality across all surfaces.
Translate complex briefs into clear, compelling creative; whether that's a campaign concept, a brand system expansion, or a one-off hero asset.
Partner closely with Growth, Marketing, and Product to ensure brand-quality creative is embedded in everything Phantom ships and promotes.
Lead creative development on high-visibility projects, presenting work and aligning stakeholders across functions including executive leadership.
Actively shape how the team works; introducing scalable processes, building reusable components, and exploring how AI tools can unlock faster, better creative.
Design and produce presentation materials for high-stakes audiences like board updates, investor decks, and partner materials that are polished, on-brand, and clearly communicate Phantom's story.
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in brand design, preferably with experience across both agency and in-house environments.
A portfolio that shows both strategic conceptual thinking and exceptional design craft. Your work should demonstrate the ability to define a creative direction and execute it at a high level across multiple touch points.
Proficiency in core design tools including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop required; After Effects is a strong plus).
Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to present creative work to senior stakeholders, clearly explain your rationale, respond thoughtfully to feedback, and confidently advocate for strong creative decisions.
Experience contributing to and extending a brand design system, not just working within one.
Curious about AI-powered design tools and motivated to integrate them into your workflow.
Why Work with Us
Opportunity
We are a team of experienced builders who started from a simple belief: crypto should be easy, beautiful, and available to everyone. That conviction has fueled our growth to 20M+ users, a #1 ranking in the Google Play Store finance category, and a product that consistently ranks among the top consumer technology platforms in the world.
There has never been a better time to work in crypto — and at Phantom, you’ll help shape how tens of millions of people experience it every day. The Brand Creative team sits at the center of that mission, building the visual language that makes Phantom feel like the most trusted, most polished product in the space.
First impressions matter: Wallets are responsible for a users first impression with crypto and onboarding new users into crypto. By ensuring that a user has a great first-time experience with crypto, we can help supercharge the growth of the entire ecosystem.
Make crypto easier to navigate: There is no easy way for a user to discover and navigate all that crypto has to offer. Wallets have a unique opportunity to help users not only onboard to crypto but also stay retained by exploring new things to do.
We live in a multi-chain world: We currently support Solana, Ethereum, Polygon and Bitcoin with more networks to come in the new future. We are focused on creating a unified, multi-chain crypto experience for users.
