Founding Recruiter
Phoebe is building a network of AI agents to coordinate the in-home care market, one of the biggest labor forces in the country.
We have found product-market fit and we are scaling fast. We are hiring a founding talent partner to help us build out our team across all functions.
You'll take full ownership of recruiting across engineering, GTM, and leadership, treating every open role as a business problem to solve with a direct contribution to what Phoebe becomes.

What Success Looks Like
Within 30 days, own a live search end-to-end, starting with engineering, the spine of our hiring. Source, screen, and drive it to close.
Within 90 days, build the machine: ATS, scorecards, screening filters, pipeline reporting, and a weekly operating cadence. Everything the team needs to run hiring on a system instead of in the founder's head.
Over the next 6 months, land the hires that matter: the leadership roles and senior engineers. Engage external firms you drive rather than just hire. As the repeatable parts get systematized, your time moves up to the hardest searches.
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of experience at a mix of agency and fast-growing, product-driven companies, tilt toward either technical, or GTM is fine
Hunters. You find the person who isn't looking and you don't stop until they say yes. Posting a req and praying isn't your style, and you'd never outsource the chase.
Operational excellence. You get results out of people who don't report to you. You drive external firms hard, hold them accountable, and make them deliver on your timeline.
High agency, low ego. You own the outcome end to end, and no part of the job is beneath you. When unglamorous coordination moves a hire, you just do it.
Business Development Representative
About Phoebe
Phoebe is modernizing America's home healthcare infrastructure. This is the coordination layer for one of the largest labor markets in the country.
Today, we build AI teammates for home care and home health agencies - starting with scheduling workflows that are mission-critical, high-volume, and deeply broken.
We are looking for a high-agency operator to help us find, qualify, and open the next wave of agencies that should be running on Phoebe.
About the Role
TLDR: Help build our BDR foundation with a clear path to AE in 6-9 months.
Base: $77k-84k
OTE: $110-$120k
Founding-BDR band equity
What You'll Do
You will play a key role in driving the top of Phoebe's pipeline, focused heavily on the channels that are not being driven by the GTM engineering, sales, and growth team members that you'll be working closely with.
You will become an expert on the home care market and its operational pain points, then execute outbound outreach to book qualified meetings with agency owners and operators.
You will help define what excellent outbound looks like at Phoebe, then document it for the next BDR as you shift into a full stack selling role within 6-9 months of joining.
What You'll Need
0-3 years of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, fundraising, or another high-volume outbound role
Strong work ethic and visible urgency; you make more attempts than people expect
Comfort on the phone with cold prospects; you can hold a conversation, ask sharp questions, and handle objections
Strong written communication; your emails sound like a person, not a template
Curiosity about how businesses actually run; you want to understand the agency operator, not just sell them
Comfort being measured on activity and outcomes
High adaptability; you are excited to test, get rejected, and try a different angle the same afternoon
Willingness to work in the weeds while also improving the system
Who You Are
You are a strong fit if you:
Are competitive and want to be measured against a number
Like the grind of cold outbound and don't need constant external motivation
Pay close attention to detail (account research, CRM hygiene, follow-through)
Take feedback well and try the new thing the next day
Want to learn how to sell from the ground up, not just hit a quota
Are energized by being early; you'd rather build the playbook than inherit one
Product Deployment & Operations
About Phoebe
Phoebe is modernizing America’s home healthcare infrastructure. This is the coordination layer for one of the largest labor markets in the country.
Today, we build AI teammates for home care and home health agencies - starting with scheduling workflows that are mission-critical, high-volume, and deeply broken
We are looking for a high-agency operator to help us deploy Phoebe into real customer workflows and build the operating system for how we scale.
About the Role
You will own customer deployments from kickoff through successful activation.
You will work directly with agency owners, administrators, schedulers, and operators to understand how their business works, map their workflows, train their teams, identify blockers, and drive them to meaningful usage of Phoebe.
This is a customer-facing strategy and operations role at the center of how Phoebe scales. You will sit at the intersection of implementation, customer operations, product feedback, and company-building.
The goal is simple: help customers get live, get value, and make every deployment faster, cleaner, and more repeatable than the last.
What You’ll Do
Own end-to-end deployment for new Phoebe customers, from kickoff through successful launch
Lead customer onboarding with clear agendas, structured follow-up, and strong command of next steps
Work directly with agency operators to understand scheduling workflows, communication patterns, systems, pain points, and operational blockers
Train agency owners, administrators, schedulers, and operators on how to use Phoebe in their day-to-day workflows
Drive customers toward meaningful activation by ensuring Phoebe is used for real operational work
Track launch readiness, open blockers, customer risks, and adoption signals
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support to troubleshoot issues and resolve customer blockers
Translate repeated customer issues into product feedback, internal process changes, documentation, and playbooks
Use customer data, usage signals, and qualitative feedback to identify risk and prioritize interventions
Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and improve the deployment process
Help define what excellent customer deployment looks like at Phoebe
What You’ll Need
1–5 years of experience in consulting, banking, operations, technical implementation, or another high-intensity environment
Strong ownership and urgency; you follow through without needing to be chased
Ability to understand messy operational workflows quickly and turn them into clear plans
Strong customer presence; you can lead structured calls, set expectations, and handle objections
Excellent written communication; you can turn messy conversations into useful docs, checklists, and internal updates
Comfort working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to troubleshoot issues and improve the product
Data-informed mindset; you can use usage signals, customer feedback, and operational patterns to assess risk
High adaptability and comfort navigating ambiguity in an early-stage company
Willingness to get in the weeds while also improving the system
Who You Are
You are a strong fit if you:
Like messy, high-context work
Enjoy talking to customers and understanding how their businesses actually operate
Can manage many open loops without dropping balls
Are practical, organized, and action-oriented
Can move between customer calls, internal docs, product feedback, and operational follow-up
Want to build a function, not just fill a seat
Are energized by turning chaos into systems
Account Executive
About Phoebe
Phoebe builds AI teammates for home health: the coordination layer for one of the largest labor markets in the country.
The U.S. medical staffing market is $25B+ and growing, with strong demographic tailwinds as America ages. AI is changing how staffing works, and we’re building to lead that transition. As more agencies and caregivers use Phoebe, the platform gets more valuable.
We're growing fast; in the past 6 months we hit over $1M in ARR, and recently raised $9.5M from Slow Ventures and Quiet. We’re a small team, we move fast, and we’re focused on turning early traction into a durable business. We're hiring an AE to help us meet demand.
The Role
Phoebe already has an early sales motion. Your job is to make it consistent and repeatable.
You’ll work closely with our Founding GTM Sales Leader to standardize how we qualify, run discovery, deliver demos, and hand off to close. You’ll own the funnel from first contact through a completed demo: building the frameworks, running the calls, and ensuring the opportunities that move forward are the right ones.
This is a collaborative, high-visibility role with a direct line to the CEO and real input into how Phoebe goes to market.
What You’ll Own
Qualification: define and run the framework that determines which opportunities are worth pursuing
Discovery: lead structured conversations that surface real pain, confirm fit, and set up each demo to land
Demo: run the full demo experience, tailored to each prospect’s workflows and priorities
Close: own proposal and close follow through with qualified customers, then deliver clean, well-documented handoffs to the implementation team post-close
Outbound prospecting: use tools like Clay and Attio to build targeted sequences and keep the funnel moving
Pre-sales collateral: build discovery guides, demo scripts, and objection-handling frameworks that make the motion repeatable
GTM partnership: work closely with the founding team to align on qualification criteria and standardize the end-to-end process
Who You Are
You have 2–3+ years in a BDR, SDR, or sales engineering role, including some time at an early-stage startup. You can build process where there isn’t one, and you hold yourself to a high standard in both cold outbound and warm inbound.
Experience in a 0-to-1 or early-stage environment; you can point to things you built, not just supported
Ownership mindset; you know the numbers, spot the gaps, and fix them
Strong live demo skills; you can handle tough questions on the fly and speak credibly with ops leaders and agency executives
Sharp discovery; you ask hard questions early and avoid wasting time on bad-fit deals
Hands-on with LLMs and tools like Clay and Attio (or you can get up to speed quickly)
Strong debrief habits; you document what works and use the data to improve
Home care, healthcare or staffing experience is a plus; genuine interest in the space is required
What we Offer
Interesting, high-leverage work at a company growing very fast
We offer competitive compensation in line with venture-backed Series A companies
Small team where your work ships to customers immediately
In-person in NYC - we work in the same room
Multiple second-time founders to learn from - Justin (CEO) sold Bayes (YC S19) to Airtable. Dave built and sold Kamana, an app for travel nurses
How to apply
Tell us about a demo or discovery process you built or improved: what it looked like before, what you changed, and what happened.
No cover letter needed.
Forward Deployed Engineer
About Phoebe
Phoebe is modernizing America’s home healthcare infrastructure. This is the coordination layer for one of the largest labor markets in the country.
Today, we build AI teammates for home care and home health agencies - starting with scheduling workflows that are mission-critical, high-volume, and deeply broken.
About You
You are a business-minded engineer who enjoys speaking with customers and thinking through and solving problems end-to-end
You might want to start your own company one day, but aren’t sure what to build yet
You might have spent time at a silicon valley startup or larger Unicorn and want to join a fast growing startup with PMF. You’re looking for a customer facing, business-focused engineering role that works closely between sales and core engineering
What You’ll Do
Interact directly with customers and deliver solutions end to end, from understanding pain points to designing and implementing solutions
Work closely with sales and GTM to close deals and activate customers
Drive product feedback loops directly back into the product roadmap
First 90 Days
Meet customers. You'll jump in on implementations already in progress, join customer calls, and get deep on how homecare scheduling actually works. By the end of month one, you'll own active customer relationships yourself.
Iterate independently with customers. You'll be diagnosing and resolving customer issues directly, building quick fixes that unblock go-lives, and delivering small customizations that show agencies Phoebe can work exactly the way they do.
Contribute to the product roadmap. You'll identify your first pattern across multiple customers, such a friction point, a repeated request, a recurring workaround, and work with the team to generalize it into a product improvement.
You're a Good Fit If
You're a strong generalist (2+ years shipping real products) who can work across the stack
You genuinely enjoy speaking with customers
You stay on the cutting edge of AI dev workflows and love using coding agents to automate engineering, observability, and the entire development workflow.
You're interested in the full product development loop: understanding a problem, building a solution, seeing it used, and iterating
You're comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out as you go
You've worked with LLMs in production (or are eager to)
You want to be early at a company that's growing very quickly
